enhypen doing a challenge with you

you're the 6th (or 7th) member of lsfm. you just had your comeback easy, and you're were told you were going to do a challenge with heeseung. and boy, heeseung was so happy. like he forgot about dating and how judgmental knetz can be. hes just excited to see you because how busy you were do to your promotion schedule meaning he couldn't see you for weeks. when you guys meet at the hybe dance practice room, you teach him how to do the dance. which he obviously eats it up. then you would start filming the challenge. the two of you guys would end the challenge by like going opposite directions (like out of the camera view). and as heeseung being a supportive bf, he would watched the mv and dance. so he would like exit the camera by doing that chaewon move. like i can see him doing it so vividly and leaving the camera view while your laughing so hard. now the comments are all like: "heeseung being #1 fearnot fr!"

as the 5th member of aespa, you had a comeback of drama. and comebacks = interactions with idols = interaction with enhypen = interaction with specifically jay. and when jay heard hes going to do a challenge with you, bro is like yapping about it 24/7 to his members. he would be sitting in the living room, yapping to jungwon, "man, im gonna film a challenge with my amazing gorgeous girlfriend." but now lets talk more specifically during the challenge. he would have already learned the choreography because he streams ur music duh. and by the time you go to hybe dance practice room, he's basically like the 6th member of aespa. during the challenge, jay would try so hard not to smile at you cause of rumors (and he doesnt want to be fired). but in the end, he does give a small smile to you cause he can't even hold it. (guess what the next topic will be during the next enhypen discussion!)

being the maknae of gidle, is also being the gf of jake from enhypen. you're the youngest in the group and you had your comeback of super lady (lady lady call me super lady). and jake already, as the golden retriever he is, he's hyping you up 24/7. he stalks your instagram page + fancams. like even before his manager tells him he's gonna do a challenge with you, he already knows the lyrics and dance by heart. when he does the challenge, he eats it up. but lets be honest, jake would honestly purposely cause a dating rumor during the challenge. like this man can't hold his urge to hug you at award shows or talk about you during live so he would just like grab your waist while watching the scenes (NOT TO MENTION, THERES A BEHIND THE SCENES CAMERA WATCHING WHICH HE OBVIOUSLY KNEW). like jake that wasn't part of script (????)

7th member of ive, which is aka you. you knew sunghoon cause your member, wonyoung, is friends with him due to them being music bank mcs together. (lets say you were jealous that your member got to be with him every friday and not you but still) you had just came out with all night (cover) and enhypen came out with sweet venom. like his challenge with wonyoung, you would film the all night challenge + sweet venom challenge too with him. before, sunghoon would be sooo happy to see you but at the same time so scared (this man has like trust issues with k-netz so). during the behind the scenes, you guys would just standing 🧍‍♂️🧍‍♀️ like this. like your scared too (i would). but in the end, when all the cameras are off you wave goodbye and of course sunghoon leaves a small kiss on cheek.

obviously, as expected, you're the 6th member of newjeans. being in the same company as sunoo means that you would be best friends with him. ironically, you knew each other from school and unexpectedly joined the same company. as sunoo is easy to connect with, you two became close friends within days. six months later, you're now dating sunoo (cute <3). during the sweet venom era, you film a challenge with sunoo (you begged the company). usually, hybe posts behind-the-scenes of challenges, so your behind-the-scenes footage i feel would go viral. some fans were shocked to see the fact that the two of you were friends and knew each other (well, you were technically more than just friends). but at the end of the challenge, you guys would do a heart together 🫶. like, how cute is that?

10th member of kep1er was you. being from a survival show like riki, meant that you were easily connected with riki. ironically you both guys came in 4th in survival shows. back in galileo, era, you guys filmed a challenge together. the two of you were known for your dancing skills and rapping skills. so obviously when you filmed a challenge, fans are freaking out. but in reality, the two of you were actually dating and super excited to film the challenge. riki never really did a gg song challenge often so it was slightly new but in the end he was able to pull it off iconically (as usual, like did you guys see the hype boy challenge and super shy challenge?!?!??!). but let's talk more deeply during the challenge. riki was obviously the shy person as he couldn't seem to make eye contact with you. the comments are all about riki's shy smile towards you and started shipping you + him.

THE GIRL IS MINE — idol!sakura miyawaki x idol!reader

warnings: yn and sakura from heart racing and best friends, gidle!reader, kissing, mentions and hints of caught in between

sakura knew yn was known for her visuals. she also knew that her girlfriend had a lot of people after her, so why was is such a surprise to her to see people actually going after the gidle member.

she watched from across the room seated with her members as ryujin made small talk to yn since gidle and itzy were placed beside each other and both girls were sat beside each other a little small talk was bound to happen.

personally sakura didn’t think it was small talk it seemed more like flirting to her.

“you are shooting laser beams at her head.” a voice snaps sakura out of her daze as she quickly turns to face chaewon who has a playful look on her face.

sakura scoffs at the short haired girl before shadily muttering a “you’re one to talk.” making a jab at the girls jealous ways towards her two other members.

chaewon shoots the older girl a small glare deciding to ignore her comment, “she seems to be telling yn a funny joke.” which makes sakura snap her head back to the pair.

even though she couldn’t sakura could hear yn’s soft laugh in response to something that sakura could hardly believe was that funny.

sakura stiffened and muttered to chaewon, “why are we doing this again?” three major groups doing a variety show together seemed like a good idea when it was told to sakura that lesserafim along with gidle and Itzy will be taking part in it, but now not so much.

“and why are they seated next to each other and we’re sitting alone.” sakura ranted to the leader of the group, “this is why we can’t have odd numbers.”

“are you sure the odd number is your problem?” chaewon asked before pointing towards yn and ryujin, “I don’t think so.” she says slyly.

sakura glared at chaewon before nodding towards her two other members, “instead of paying attention to me pay attention to those two.”

it was like an alarm went off in chaewon’s head as she immediately turns her head in the direction that sakura nodded towards, quickly squeezing herself into the conversation of the two members, her mind completely off of sakura.

sakura felt herself smile at the mess that she calls her members but it immediately disappears when she hears the mc call your name.

“yn!” he says pointing at youngest member of gidle, your head snaps up and you raise a brow in question.

“you have two popular and influential groups in this room with you correct?” he asks and you nod your head immediately in response, “which member of either groups do you admire the most?”

yn look at the ceiling in thought before bringing her gaze to the hybe group making immediate eye contact with sakura, she smiles before bringing her eyes back to the man, “sakura.” she says pointing at the older girl.

the members of lesserafim cheer as a smile makes its way to sakura’s only to once again disappear off her face when a certain itzy member speaks up.

“not me?” ryujin asks teasingly leaning closer to yn who covers to face in a flustered manner, “yeah yn, not ryujin!?” the other mc shouts at the girl who puts her face in her hand at the teasing.

sakura narrows her eyes at ryujin who pats yn’s shoulder teasingly, could she back off?

the rest of the filming was just ryujin flirting with yn and everyone eating up, well everyone but sakura who felt like pushing over one of the cameras.

she trusted yn, it was the itzy member she didn’t trust, sakura thought it was pretty obvious that something between her and yn was going to pretty much everyone in the industry, so its either ryujin is oblivious or she just didn’t care.

sakura was leaning more towards the didn’t care option.

the girls were done filming and sakura was determined to find yn, she walked through the halls until she came to a stop when she saw who she was looking for but with the person she didn’t wanna see at all.

sakura watched as ryujin picked up the necklace on yn’s neck, “this necklace is cute.”

sakura tensed her mind going a thousand miles as ryujin takes her hand from your necklace and brings to yn’s arm rubbing it in a “friendly.” manner.

yn smiles brightly before responding with a bright, “thanks my gir-”

“there you are.”

sakura’s voice cuts yn off as she looks behind her to see her girlfriend who pulls yn closer to her, “I’ve been looking for you everywhere.”

without sparring a look at ryujin sakura impulsively presses her lips onto yn’s who just stands still for a couple of seconds before kissing the older back.

yn slowly pulls herself away from sakura, coughing awkwardly before turning to ryujin, “you’ve probably met my girlfriend sakura right rue?”

sakura sends a fake smile to the girl as she wraps an arm around yn, “yes I have, hi.” ryujin replies making eye contact with the girl. “you got yourself a good one.” she smirks mockingly at sakura, making the japanese girls blood boil for some reason.

“I do.” sakura smiles it’s a petty smile, “you’re members might be looking for you.” she says nodding behind as she pulls yn closer to her if that’s even possible.

“you’re right...” ryujin trails off before bringing her gaze to yn, “I’ll see you around yn.”

“bye ryujin.” yn smiles still a little embarrassed as she leans into sakura who nods her head, “yeah, bye ryujin.” she says passively but the itzy member just chuckles and walks towards where her members are.

sakura visibly relaxes when the girl leaves before pressing a kiss on yn’s jaw who in response rolls her eyes, “what?” sakura asks innocently.

yn turns her body fully to look at the girl, “you know you don’t have to be jealous right? I only have eyes for you.”

“me?” sakura asks pointing towards herself, “jealous?”

in response yn nods her head, “yes you, but then again if I was my girlfriend I would get jealous too.” yn says teasingly as she presses a kiss on sakura’s cheek.

it’s now sakura’s turn to roll her eyes as she wraps an arm around yn’s should and starts walking towards the direction where all the groups are, “who gave you such an ego?”

“you.”

In case anyone doesn’t know them, PD always has incredibly sensible and on point assessments regarding IDLE’s comeback and the message they are trying to convey. They’re consistently praising the girls in every reaction video, are quick to catch references and add the perspective of Korean culture that sometimes we international fans might miss.

I’ve been checking their reactions since Tomboy and it was truly a soothing and healing experience when I was (still am) trying to come to terms with the new group formation. And without fault I always finish their videos thinking woah this comeback that I already love is even better now.

(G)I-dle || page of cups rx, two of swords, king of swords rx: They feel like the industry is oversatured right now, and a lot of good stuff keeps being ignored and/or overlooked because the public's attention is glued to only a specific few groups/idols. They trust that their fans will keep on supporting and promoting them, so they will never have to worry with flopping or not being given the proper recognition for their hard work.

IVE || ten of pentacles rx, knight of pentacles, knight of cups: Again, because there are so many ggs trying to fill the same Nº1 spot right now, the members feel like they are being forced to take smaller steps - instead of going all out; giving their all. Even though they love what they do, this kinda takes away a lot of their motivation and ambition. I keep hearing "your time will come, just be patient", which I think is something the company might tell them a lot. Some are already very frustrated because it just feels like their time to shine never actually comes; still, they keep moving, holding on to whatever hope they have left.

NewJeans || ten of cups, nine of pentacles, the hermit: On one hand, they know they have nothing to worry about because their company has all of the resources to keep backing them up and make sure they have a spotlight on them whenever they need. I see some members being actually quite shocked at how much money they have made so far, plus all of the opportunities they have, each and collectively, been getting. On the other hand, though, some might already feel like this is becoming too much and they wish they could slow the train down and spend some more time enjoying their youth and personal lives.

aespa || the world, the empress, eight of wands: This rivarly actually motivates them. It pushes them to better themselves and their skills, to step on that stage and really leave their mark, to make the 'aespa' name stand out. Plus, I also see some (if not all) of them being true fans of the others groups, which definitely weakens the competition aspect of it all. And, of course, they come from a major company… it's not like they will likely ever run out of resources or attention.

Le Sserafim || the magician, two of cups, four of wands: Le Sserafim actually read as the most determined to secure their spot at the top. Besides them being very ambitious on their own, I also feel like their company puts a ton of pressure on them to do well and stay relevant. Even with that, they don't see the other ggs solely as their rivals; they are all on the same boat, in a way, so there's no point in having bad feelings towards anybody.

Itzy || the chariot, three of swords, the tower: I get the feeling that ITZY, collectively, think they are being left behind. The company isn't being ambitious enough with them; they're not making enough of an effort to have them fit in with the others - the members, themselves, have to figure out ways to do that. Also, it's like everyone has upgrated their sound and image, except them, you know? JYPE is keeing them stuck in the good ol' JYP bubble. Still, they haven't given up, even though they are extremely tired and uninspired. Their resilience and passion are absolute unmatched!
