hi hope you’re well!! id like to request sharing a bed with ignis (or all ffxv boys! up to you!) for the first time please! like there’s only one bed or the booking at hotel went wrong ! it’s up to you! dw if you don’t want to do it :) love ur work!

"This is just peachy..." The sarcasm rolled off Gladio's tongue like molasses as he shot Ignis a glare. "You just had to let blondie down there take care of the booking."

Ignis sighed as he scrunched his legs up further into his chest, trying to give Gladio and their fifth guest more room at the front of the bed. He grunted before addressing the crude remark.

"Tending to Y/N at the time was more important than keeping an eye out on Prompto's sense of rationale."

"Hey!" Prompto exclaimed as he shot up from the foot of the bed. He shoved Gladio's left foot away, grimacing at the aroma that wafted from his calloused toes. "When the receptionist said they had a suite, I assume that means a big space. Where I'm from, a big space means more room which means having more than one bed!"

"There's a reason you didn't pass algebra." Noctis quipped. He earned a swift kick to his side from Prompto and nearly fell off the mattress while he yelped.

"You're one to talk Noct, you only passed the tenth grade cause you copied my material!"

"Did not!"

"Did too!"

"Did not--!"

"Guys, not for nothing, but I'd like to sleep." Y/N sighed.

"Y/N's right," Ignis muttered. "We have a big day ahead of us and it's already late. Let us try to make the best out of the situation."

"Fine, whatever." Noctis breathed. He adjusted his body, lying on his side and facing away from Ignis's legs. He thanked the gods for not being in Prompto's position when it came to catching a whiff of Gladio's feet. The swampy smell was still there from their time in Duscae, and Noctis let out a grunt when he felt nausea pool briefly in his chest.

"You okay down there, Noct?" Y/N asked.

"Yep!" Noctis sighed.

"Good," Y/N tried to keep their eyes upon the ceiling in a vain attempt to ignore the fact they were sandwiched in between both Ignis and Gladio. All the while, their feet were pressed upon Noctis and Prompto. Had they not felt self-conscious being amongst four guys in a single bed, Y/N would've seen the hilarity in all this. How the whole gang was basically crammed onto the mattress like a posse of clowns trapped inside a small vehicle.

"Uh," Y/N made a face as they snapped out of their thoughts. "Gladio, I think you're touching my butt."

"Sorry, my bad!"

"Y/N," Ignis turned his head, raising his voice ever so slight. "This may seem awkward, but we may be able to give Gladio and yourself more wiggle room if you bundle up to me."

"Smooth one, specs." Noctis teased. He let out a wince when Ignis not so subtly jabbed his face with his right foot. Prompto could be heard giggling into his palms at the incident.

Y/N growled a little in their throat. As much as they had grown to enjoy the antics of the boys, now was not the time. Nonetheless, they went through the motions. Their body curled up against Ignis until they were practically spooning the man from behind.

"Finally, I can stretch!" Gladio yawned. He gently reached over and nudged Y/N. "Thanks for taking one for the team."

"Whatever helps you sleep at night." Y/N muttered in reply. They felt Ignis reach for them, gently coaxing Y/N to put an arm around his waist.

"You sure this is alright?" Y/N tried to whisper against the back of Ignis's head.

"Positive," He replied. "Besides, this will lower the risk of having you wake in a compromising position with anybody."

Y/N quietly laughed at the remark. "Kinda late for that, but okay."

"He's a gentleman like that!" Prompto interjected. He let out an uncomfortable sigh as he moved around, causing the bed to creak. "Gladio, buddy, do you think you can move? You're taking up my side of the bed."

"Your side of the bed?!" Gladio exclaimed, feeling the last straw break the camels back. "This whole bed should've been my side of the bed but you screwed up!"

"And here I thought you liked slumber parties!" Prompto jabbed playfully.

"I outta--!"

"Hey!" Noctis rose up. "You two, shut the hell up and go to sleep! Enough of the cat fight!"

"How about you shut up for a change?" Gladio countered.

"Is that a challenge?"

"Guys, c'mon...I already gotta smell Gladio's fungus feet and I don't want the bed turning into a battle arena!"

"Fungus feet?!"

Y/N shook their head against Ignis, letting out a sigh of disbelief as the commotion between the three pressed on. The gentle squeeze Ignis offered had them slightly perk up.

"They're always like this," Ignis reassured. "And the feelings are mutual, by the way."

The tired reply Ignis gave had Y/N smile from ear to ear, and somehow they could feel themself drifting away among the bantering. Tomorrow would come soon.

| Chocobros Dating Drabbles |

[ Noctis Lucis Caelum, Ignis Scientia, Prompto Argentum, Gladiolus Amicitia x GN! Reader ]

Summary: Quick little dating drabbles with each of the chocobros, just overall cuteness and fluff.

[(A/N): Hey hey!! My first FFXV piece. Not requested, but I REALLY wanted to make these since I've started playing recently. No major spoilers please!! I'd appreciate it a lot. As always, enjoy!]

Noctis:

Noctis loves, and I mean LOVES sleeping. Or napping. He feels at peace in this state and he can rest from the chaos of the world, even for a bit.

With you in his life, expect to be pulled into multiple cuddle sessions with him. On the couch, in a bed, or even in the Regalia. Doesn't matter. If he's going to bed, he's dragging your ass to sleep. And he's not afraid to pout and whine a bit if you refuse.

He's usually the bigger spoon, but he doesn't mind being the little spoon as well. Or any position really. As long as he senses your presence, he'll sleep like a baby.

To Noctis, these are special and soft moments to him. The feeling of your bodies close to one another feels so intimate, yet so sweet. He feels safe and it relaxes his mind to know that you're in his arms. Safe and sound.

Ignis:

Oh Iggy. First off, if you ever ask if you could accompany him by helping in the kitchen, he'd happily agree. How could he not. Don't know how to cook? Don't worry! He'll teach you every you'll need to know.

He appreciates hearing constructive criticism or ideas for a new recipe. Not only does he find it helpful, but it also lets him know that you care about him and his interests.

Something Ignis has grown to love over the course of your relationship; is simply spending quiet time together. Reading books quietly, or you resting your head on his lap while he reads a story out loud to you.

You make him feel at ease. Although it doesn't look like it, being on the road makes him tired. And if he can at least get some quiet, alone time with you, Ignis is a happy man.

Gladio:

Look at this giant and lovable golden retriever. Gladio can be and looks like a tough guy, but he's a softie and a romantic at heart.

Always teasing you. Lightheartedly. He loves seeing you flustered and that man is not afraid to make you do so. But he's also the king of giving you compliments that'll make you swoon.

Gladio would watch Disney movies with you if you asked him to do so. He at first denies that he likes them (secretly loves Beauty and the Beast) but eventually he breaks and will start singing along to the songs.

No matter what, he'll protect you always. He may be the King's Shield, but when it comes to you, he'll keep you safe from any and all danger. Even if it costs him his life.

Prompto:

Aww, the little chocobean. Prompto is literally like a ball of sunshine. He strives to make you smile and laugh, even if he uses bad corny jokes to do so.

Will ask—no, beg you to come to see the chocobos with him. Race with them, feed them, and definitely take a couple of pictures together while you're there.

Speaking of taking pictures, if you let him, Prompto always take snapshots of you whenever he finds the perfect spot to do so. One time in Lestallum, he snuck a quick kiss to your cheek and caught your surprised expression on camera. Needless to say, it's his favorite shot of you.

At the end of the day, he loves you dearly. You bring him so much happiness into his life and give him another reason to keep going. The only thing he could ever ask is this; don't break his heart and leave him behind.

"You're growling again," Ignis sighed as he once more pointed out the noise Gladio made every so often at Prompto and Noctis's antics.

"Can it Iggy," Gladio muttered as he sipped on the cup noodles broth he had left in his cup. He let out a breath, shaking his head at seeing Prompto suddenly chasing Noctis around while attempting to get his camera back. He made a fist and adjusted in his seat next to the camp fire.

"May I ask why you're so angered at their play?" Ignis inquired.

"Look," Gladio began. He felt somewhat irate at Ignis's attempt at playing therapist, but decided to come clean. "It's not that I don't want them to have fun. We could all use some laughs after everything that's happened..."

"But?"

Gladio sighed. "We lost our home, Ignis. The Niffs took everything. We don't know if our loved ones are going to be okay, and the fate of the world is riding on the shoulders of a twerp who can't be bothered with, and he's messing around with blondie over there acting like it's another day in high school!"

"You sound quite exasperated."

"You think!?" Gladio exclaimed. He made a face, realizing he was a bit harsh and apologized to Ignis under his breath.

"It's quite alright," Ignis reassured. He hummed for a moment, observing the boys from afar. "I see where your concerns lie. I admit to feeling a sense of apprehension, but.."

"But?" Gladio raised a brow, turning his head.

"Maybe a soft heart during a tough time isn't so bad. Perhaps you could try and join them in the fun? It might unburden the mental load you're carrying."

"Don't make me laugh!"

"Suit yourself." Ignis shrugged. He dusted his gloves, and prepared to make dinner for the night; leaving Gladio to his thoughts.

Gladio muttered a few curses to himself, and decided to take his mind off everything by making another cup noodle while waiting he waited for Ignis to complete the main course. If there was anything that could soothe his thoughts, it was cheap food and silence.

"Gladio, look out!"

"Incoming!"

Before he could dodge, Gladio felt his body tumble forward. The cup noodle flew into the air, and he heard the distinctive yelp Prompto was known for when he was harmed. Gladio grunted as the world stilled, no longer a chaotic mess of dirt and gods knew what.

"Son of a---" Gladio paused as he leaned up and looked to his right. Prompto was sitting beside him in a daze. His skin turning white as a ghost upon seeing the anger that flashed behind Gladio's gaze.

Gladio's eyes combed over Prompto. His hair was coated in noodles and pieces of beef. The smell of the broth mingling with Prompto's hair product created a pungent odor that had Gladio wishing he was sniffing shit from an Anak instead.

From afar, Noctis was covering his mouth to suppress a laugh.

Gladio let out a sigh. "Noodle."

"Noodle?" Prompto gulped.

"Yes. You are a noodle." He picked up a noodle fragment from the cup and placed it upon Prompto's head as if crowning a king. "My noodle. It's cute."

"What the--?!"

Gladio laughed as he grabbed a hold of Prompto, trapping him in a playful headlock while he messed with his hair further.

"Gladio! Hey, hey! You're making it worse!" Prompto exclaimed in between fits.

"Noct! Help me out here! He's flailing like one of those fish that slapped you earlier!"

"Right behind ya!"

"I hate you both!" Prompto yelped.

Ignis looked up from the grill to watch as the three descended into chaotic play. He let out a huff, shaking his head and smiled before going back to preparing the meat from the fish Noctis had caught.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE ASK! I'm gonna turn this one into a multi-part feel good comedy fic. Ignis just wants to cook. Ardyn has murder on his mind.. the dinner is the victim.

Roasted by the Roast [PART 1]

“We’re staying in a caravan, with Ardyn..” 

The implications of an overnight stay with that guy? Prompto couldn’t bear to imagine what it’ll be like.. What if he wears one of those old timey nightgowns? He shuddered, almost failing to notice the man of the hour come closer. And I mean, closer. 

“It’s a pleasure to share such..” A pause as Ardyn eyed the caravan. “..accommodations with His Highness.”

The awkward silence that followed was deafening. It was clear to the four, this was going to be quite the night. Thankfully, it was the caravan by Hammerhead. If anything was to go awry, Cid said he’d give the stranger a good lashing. Gladio caught Cindy up to speed with the whole, scarf-hobo situation, and she reached the same conclusion word for word. 

“That’s him? In the scarf…” She leaned forward, trying to get a better look from the garage. “..scarves?” 

Gladio let out a heavy sigh, he nodded. Even his questionable No-Shirt fashion was a tier above this. “Yep. It’s weird.” He further pushed back his own scarf phase. “Every time we hit a wall, he just happens to show up with a solution.” The word happens had extra emphasis, how did this guy know where to find them? 

Back across the street, the night was getting on as well as you’d expect it to. Dinner was to be served, and five plates were set. Ignis made a mental note to sit between Ardyn and whomever was unlucky enough to get the spot by him. 

“What’s on the menu, Specs?” Noctis came out of hiding. He’d found a cozy place far away from all the social awkwardness. He was going to seek an audience with Titan tomorrow, safe to say he was nervous. His voice shook, if you’ve known him as long as Ignis did, you’d be able to see Noct was a bit paler than usual. The weight of the world was on his shoulders, after all. With no way to see what tomorrow’s challenge will bring, the least Iggy could do was choose a dish without veggies. 

“Come here, Noct. I’ll let you pick the dish.” Neglecting his place as royal advisor for the night, he chose to prioritize being the King’s friend. Noctis practically flew down the caravan’s rickety steps, excited to choose the food this evening. 

This stranger couldn’t be all that bad, right? Sure, he came out of nowhere, led with creepy riddles.. Yeah. Just a night couldn’t be all that bad, right? One way or another, the King and his friends would find out. 

…

“What’s cooking, boys?” Cindy walked up to the caravan, taking a seat at one of its plastic chairs. She hummed, the smell of Iggy’s cooking was quite the pleasant one. 

Gladio came a few moments later after chatting up Cid. “Yessss..” He immediately recognized the ingredients set out.

Noct had picked a traditional Crown City roast. It’s a dish he’s had many times before, but not since he had departed home. Ignis had avoided making it, as not to stir up any past memories too early. He nodded as the King made his choice, knowing the comfort he may be seeking.

“Now how in the..” Ignis was on a mission to make the best roast there was, but an unstoppable force met an immovable object.  

The caravan’s kitchen was a world away from the industry standard set up he’s been spoiled with in Insomnia. Though, he’s made more with worse. If he can make dinner with nothing but a pan, a campfire, and three idiots.. Then this was going to be a cakewalk.

Ignis tied on his apron, ready to cook. He reached for the stove's dial and..

KLANG.

It hit the floor.

"Oh my.. looks like you'll be needing a sous chef." Just the man he wanted to see. "Lucky for you, I happen to be the best repair man this side of Eos. Now, how do you turn this thing on?" Ardyn inflated his experience, you know.. like a liar.

Welcome to Tales of a Wilted Sunflower, a Canon Divergent/AUish Basil Side blog. This blog follows the events of canon omori up until Aubrey pushing basil into the lake on 2 days left. In this timeline, Hero does not show up in time to save Basil but is able to save Sunny who jumped in after some hesitation due the fear of drowning. The next time Basil awakens, it's to the sound an old friend playing the piano

It is then that Basil has realized that he has died and become a lingering spirit just like her, taking The Truth to the grave. Even with Mari's forgiveness in the afterlife, he does not feel he deserves it and still wishes to help his friends in what little ways he can so they can learn to move forward and not spend their lives wallowing in regret, grief and guilt.

It has been 3 years since his death and many of his friends have changed as they did after Mari's death but he'll still do what he can to help the others from the shadows as a spirit. As their guardian wilted sunflower that so desperately wished to face the sun.

OH GOSH.... this is also a tough question 🤔 i think there's a lot of really good ones I haven't been able to get to in Tea and Gladiolus yet, but I really do enjoy Jules and Beryl's sibling-like relationship. I think they're really fun to write, and I hope i get to write them more often in the future ヾ(≧▽≦*)o

this one's a really biased opinion but i really like Chelle and @pegasnow's Tris too (❁´◡`❁) i've been meaning to write something about them (or about Chelle at all really, cause she's really fun to think about)... maybe that'll be good to do a drabble about just so I have something to warm back up to writing normally again?

There was a lot about eddie that had changed since you first laid eyes on him. His hair was longer now, tied back at the base of his neck in order to stay out of the way of his day to day activities. There were new tattoos and scars that you knew in equal intimacy and his job was one that was much, much more public. Also much less illegal, an exchange of burdens in a way but in another there was no burden at all in hearing the world love him as much as you always had.

But in all the changes, it was good to know that some things were just as they had always been. Standing in the bustling flower market, large windows beaming the still cool rays of sun down from above, Eddie was just as sleep heavy as he had been in ever graduation practice and early morning date. 

“You awake back there?” Your eyes didn’t leave the bucket of gladiolus flowers you had landed on. The florals didn’t quite match the color scheme you had in mind for the florals but it wasn’t too far off either. The man who had wrapped himself around your waist, chin hooked on your shoulder in a pretense of looking at what you were, merely hummed in response. “You know, you didn’t have to come with.”

“I wanna be involved,” His whine is barely audible above the chatter of other customers and the florist in front of you explaining what all went into certain bouquets they offered to the woman next to you who didn’t seem quite as interested in the individual plants as the group, unlike yourself.

“That’s what the vows are for.” Your fingers gently grasped the stem of the gladiolus and the way that it waved gently back and forth with momentum reminded you of guitar strings vibrating. 

“I wanna be more involved though,” As your fiancé spoke, you pulled enough money from your wallet to cover a bundle of the flowers to take home. From the position you were in, you still couldn’t tell if Eddie had even opened his eyes to see what you were holding.

“Well you’ll just have to be more involved in the next one.” 

There was a squeeze of your waist, grip tighter than it had been all morning but not painful, just possessive, and when you turned your face to the side to look at him there was a familiar purse of his lips in a pout that tugged at your heart strings.

“There isn’t going to be another one.” the fear was louder than the faux annoyance he tried for. Years had passed and he was sill just as easy to read as he had always been.

“But I didn’t get a chance to propose. You haven’t said no to me yet Munson, are you really going to start now?” The whisper is a ghost on your lips, a secret only for the two of you and you like to think that it makes the particular way that his features melt is a secret too. That no one else gets to see this part of him except you. 

Its hard to say what the florists must have thought the two of you, but you didn’t have it in you to be worried about that. How could you when your mind was so consumed with the soft push of his lips against yours and the feeling of petals in your hand. The only thought you could grasp was how beautiful he would look with flowers tucked behind his ears or woven into his hair, and how lucky you were to be in a position to find out.
