I think XY and XYZ were better pokemon anime's than Sun and Moon or Journeys. Look I couldn't watch all of Sun and Moon cause I hated it THAT much. The only thing I like is how Gladion yelled at Ash for being so damn lucky. And don't get me started with Journeys. I refuse to watch that hell show cause it's main focus isn't even Galar which is stupid. And the news of Greninja handing his title to the most powerful pokemon to Lucario? I'M SORRY??? You literally can't give up the fucking title of a goddamn hero to JUST A SIMPLE MEGA LUCARIO THAT EVERYONE AND THEY'RE MOM HAS!

I'm sorry the only thing that kept me trucking through X and Y was Greninja and I will die on this hill that he will be Ash's best pokemon. I hate Ash, I hate him with a burning passion. But that Greninja, IN THE STORY, showed signs of true trust and love to Ash and I hate how he just forgets all about him, only for him to steal his fucking title and slap it on a pokemon who didn't do jack shit.

It's weird to think I've wanted to make fanart for this series for like two or three years now because it really dosn't feel like its been that long but hey, I got there eventually even if it is just a polished sketch.

These are my interpretions of @crinklytinfoil 's characters from their fic 'The Crewmate Who Knew TOO Much' which has been just the most wild of rides, I love it.

I was also gonna draw Johnny since it seems like he's not dead yet but honetly this took way longer than I thought and Purple's stupid face made me want to delete this more than once so he didn't make the cut.

yeah fully agreed on how they have their bad moments even during the series where theyre at their best but the tumblr users that love team rocket despite not watching the show since they were kids would crucify me for saying they were bad during the earlier series too LMAO

(also there were several reasons that league was total ass for the most part and most of it comes down to “its the first one”) i think their behavior during the kanto league was too much even for their most diehard fans at the time. but boy does it get harder and harder and harder to like them the more that happens bc that overall issue of TR hogging really took a while to die. even after they stopped being a requirement for each episode it was a straight up plague in XY
