And after your little outing he led you back to your shared apartment

and waiting for you out on the couch surrounded by candles and petals of ur favourite flowers was that outfit you’d seen once and loved,but hadnt bought because of the price.(SEE I TOLD U HE WAS PULLIN OUT ALL THE STOPS)

(SAY;THANK YOU TACHIHARA AND HIGUCHII(to clarify,its cos they were the ones who set it all up while u were out!))You got dressed in your fancy new outfit,and headed out to see chuuya in a fancy little out fit of his own

A purple button down,with the first two buttons undone,a tie hanging loosely around his collar.

Next,you headed to a fancy-ass restaurant (which had great wine btw!!!) and he once again,treated you to your choice of wines,appetizers and actual mains + desert

Once you were done,you rode back and he led you over to your balcony,you both sat down on the chairs there and you promptly passed out.(I MEAN WHO WOULDNT BE TIRED AFTER A DAY LIKE THATTT)

Afterwards he ,effortlessly,picked you up and carried you to your room

That night you slept in your fancy-wear

And the next day you woke up with a hang over~

But waking up to eachothers faces made everything better<3

Hi Kat! I’m so hyped for anything you write. Thank you for your fics, I literally can’t think about the better way to write ramattra. He feels… alive. I’m in awe, you are so, so talented.

Small question: do you think Ram is the type of person to actually say “I love you”? To confess? I noticed he’s not very vocal about his feelings in your writings, that’s why I am curious about your opinion on this. Is he embarrassed? Maybe he thinks it’s “obvious” that he loves the reader that’s why he doesn’t say it? Or maybe he’s just stubborn??

Oh my god. Fuck, yeah, I don’t think Ramattra can say it. He’s spent a decade burying his pain and rage and then when that didn’t work, delving into them as single-mindedly as he could. And it’s implied he’s spent a long time alone. That kind of thing messes with you. It takes a certain kind of vulnerability to openly express love, and he just can’t do that. He’d be opening himself up to more pain and have to face how much of a liability you are.

He can say everything except that he loves you: he’ll spend his life with you, will always protect you, maybe even that he missed you. He’s even better with actions, making time from his busy schedule to find you, holding you with a heartrending delicacy.

He absolutely loves you- which gets even better if you confess first.

Because if you tell him you love him, he loses his mind a little. He’s too raw to bare himself to you- even if he kind of wants to- so he’d gather you into his arms and hold you, pressing his forehead to yours and hoping you understand how much you mean to him.

Eventually you might get him to whisper it to you in quiet moments.

AND how would they react to someone kissing the princesses hand/cheek right in front of them in a clear way to provoke them!

Hehe yeah! Sun would actually not just grab you but would even lift you up like a doll just to get you OUTTA that conversation with the flirting stranger. Moon is just so used to being focused and in work mode so much that he forgets he can feel strong emotions and when he does it catches him so off-guard most of the time LMAO

And yeah, as amusing as Eclipse is described in my answered asks thus far, it's not a fun experience when you're on the bad side of things. He may be a "Backup" Assassin, but he's the kind of "Backup" you'd ready on dire circumstances because you know he can deal with it almost easily

Anyway, for the questions! All under the cut as usual!

Hurting The Princess (Physical And Emotional):

Sun and Moon - both Sun and Moon have already expected hurting the Princess during their training sessions. Not to any malicious intent, but just because it's unavoidable. They assume that the Princess already knew this before agreeing to their offer of training her for the sake of her freedom so anytime you would get bruises and cuts from training, the best they can do is pause for a moment to let you recollect yourself, or help you up if it's THAT bad. Of course, they don't actually put in their 100% when training you so you won't die or get too injured that the castle servants report their worries back to the Majesties of the Palace. But if things go too awry then they can always rely on potions. I don't think I've said it here before but it's tagged in the fic that this universe is Arcanepunk Genre! Which basically means that magic and technology co-exists. Although, it's usually magic powering technology but I'm putting my spin on it as not just two things dependent on one another but also two independent things together. ANYWAY! I won't be giving an answer on the emotional hurt one... I want the answer to that to be given through the fic once that scene happens hehehe

Eclipse - physically, he would stop whatever he's doing and immediately tend to you! He doesn't like seeing his loved ones hurt. Even Sun and Moon being created solely for their assassination capabilities was something Eclipse wouldn't have wanted if he had the choice. Emotionally, well... I'll let the fic answer that for me too hehe

The Princess Giving Them A Kiss:

Sun - it basically goes like this: Doesn't get why you did what you just did, you explain why you did it, he realizes that he's now warming up from fluster, then tease you for it only causing you to kiss him another time which makes him heat up so much he runs away and returns minutes later with a gift maybe

Moon - oh boy haha I like this reaction in my head that I actually wanna do it to him myself, but anyway this is how it goes: Freezes up and completely silences himself, you ask if he's okay, he takes a moment to mutter out a short "Y-yes", you kiss him again, he still stays silent and frozen until you decide to do something else or he gets taken out of the trance by Sun's chatter

Eclipse - his reaction would be charming, very charming: First he'd get surprised then you would tease him but he teases back, leaning closer to your face as he taunts you with words of promises in returning the gesture, once he has kissed back he will lean in for another until you're the one flustered because honestly the Princess is no match for Eclipse's confidence even if she knows she's hot shit herself

The Princess Receiving A Kiss To Provoke The Assassins:

Sun - impulsively challenges the stranger to a fist fight and would pummel them with such ease. He'd only let the stranger live because he doesn't want the Princess to connect the dots that he would literally kill people just for her and just so he (and Moon) can keep her. My boy's a little bit possessive

Moon - asks the Princess to do something as a part of their "training" so she would leave the scene THEN speaks of death threats right up to the stranger as he lifts the sharper curve of his sickle to their chin. His eyes have flickered from his relaxed mode black and red to his kill mode burning scarlet, he's not messing around

Eclipse - similarly to Moon, he'd ask the Princess to leave the scene for reasons that are "unrelated" and tell threats of demise to the stranger. But unlike Moon, uhm. He will actually kill the person before the day ends. Those are not threats, they are promises

Since seelkie!Y/N probably doesn't know what the sky is cause they probably cant read they probably think the night sky is lke another ocean and i find that so funny.

I have no idea how much the other two can comprehend science but I feel like they would still think "yeah no that's wrong"

But Crimson would also egg them on and be like "No I'm pretty sure there glowing sea stars" (They know that's not true but this is so funny)

So yeah that's my silly little thought that came to me. It makes me wonder how much are the three educated on stuff out of the sea?

out of the two dust is the nerdiest when it comes to stars. the dolphin mers are one of the most curious and knowledge seeking bunch out of any siren! he knows there's a pattern to stars and he often uses them to find his way around the sea in nighttime! he's also been interested in studying them ever since he was a pup!

he doesn't know what stars ARE. but he knows they're useful for mapping out places and finding general direction.

though they disappeare when it's cloudy or it rains. dust thinks stars are pretty. he doesn't want to think much about WHAT they are tho. the stars seem to be either afraid of the sun or the sun might simply just be covering them up like the clouds... he isn't sure.

dust can't read human languages but he can read his own native siren text and other mer carvings... the jumped mess of ancient leviathan text crimson brings him thoooo he has no idea wtf that is. it's just some gibberish squiggly lines.

crimson head canons stars as other leviathans in a VEEEEERRRRY distant ocean upwards. they think stars are albgler fish traps out there.

no they don't believe the earth is flat because to them instead of north south west and east you can also go "up" and "down"

so to them earth isn't a surface it's a MASS! they don't think it's flat either. that's just dump. where would all the water go?

crimson is completely illiterate lol. they have no idea how to read anything. it wasn't really useful when it came to developing survival skills in the ocean.

as for y/n? they can read other ocean people's interpretations of their own language. so... like after a few words and telepathic tuning they CAN speak any mer language!

as for reading... that might take longer for them to learn. even with direct telepathy they still need to memorize the text pattern TO the meaning. (kinda like how Anya from spy x family would solve difficult questions if she had someone who knew the answer next to her)

this isn't the case for humans as selkies cannot read human minds. so y/n PROBABLY doesn't know how to read or write in human language.

there are selkies who have jobs and bring in fish for humans, trade stuff with them and speak their language... but even they aren't fluent in human tongue as they wear ugly masks and carry weapons for self defense.

humans are dangerous. so unless there's a need to be involved with them there's no point learning their language is there?

out of all three y/n can speak and translate the most sealife languages due to their innate ability. they also know a bit of siren glyphs but it's basically just them knowing their alphabet and the word hello.

they're a quick learner tho!

So the interaction between jin and DJ is just jin talking to himself like hes crazy right? (Well i mean thats what it looks like on the outside) Why do they speak out loud can they not communicate in the mind

WELL. i more so do picture it in their mindscape rather than in actual reality. they're more like interacting in their soul / head. which is quite funny 'cos i've always had them interact like that and then tek8 is pretty much confirming that is indeed canon because a stage will actually be set in jin's mind. yes, you'll be able to fight in jin's mind instead of a denny's parking lot. this is the GREATEST fighting game franchise ever.

this is how i picture it - in the game, they show them both being physical and interacting with each other from within.

thoooo... the (albeit noncanon) comic does show that jin has a habit of talking to himself like he's crazy whenever dj speaks to him.

so uh. usually when i write those interactions (or "shenanigans") - it's intended for them to be interacting from within. usually just so i can showcase more of their personal interactions and develop their relationship. as well... they're always together, therefore, they always interact with each other in some way. however, if another muse does want to intervene, mun can interpret it as jin talking to himself if they do so please.
