I shared my (and my friend's ocs) that are related to PK SO-

This is A LOT and I'm kinda embarrassed but I'll fucking "cringe culture is dead" through life or so help me GOD

I like imagining backstories for characters and making cool little nonsensical and completely self-indulgent AUs

(Also for the few people subscribed to my patreon there's more stuff after what I've posted there, just scroll a bit down 👍)

F9r the record I also mangled mine and @demonicintegrity 's thoughts and ideas into one post so it's somewhat comprehensible but jsyk they contributed a lot

An AU where Adamas has her last clutch in her small form

As a refresher Amanita is White Lady's name and Ebur is Pale King's name. Adamas is Pale King's mother, though wyrms use dame and sire for their parents so that's what he calls her. I am yet to properly share Quercus but he's WL's father. Flower is my name for the Pure Vessel in this AU, Hallow is their birth name. Amaryllis is an oc, they're Flower's twin. Any other names that appear here are PK's siblings.

Also using they/it for Ebur and the rest of the family bc as wyrms they don't really have genders

Ebur and Amanita meeting while Ebur's family is travelling and Amanita still lives at the edge of her father's territory and her root system is connected with his but she's getting ready to leave hopefully in just one or two years when she's gathered enough strength and the spring's kind and abundant

Adamas' little group settles near her groove since it's brimming with life and there's not many people to get in the way or compete over resources with aside from the occasional traveller or two, and Amanita tolerates their presence for now, they give her something to do since her father is quite busy with his new seedlings now that she's grown and she doesn't have much company or things to do other than to listen to the occasional mortal passing by and watch the nature, so this small group of wyrms that's mostly composed of ones not much younger than her with all the hubris and boldness of young wyrms is the most interesting thing that's happened to her in a while

Some of them would probably push too far before Adamas had to smack them upside the head and reprimand them for ever thinking about taking over this territory, after all they're really on the larger territory of an ancient God, and even though Roots aren't known to be the most attentive of parents she still doesn't want to tempt fate and check if this one is the same by attacking his daughter

Either way, Amanita notices the younger wyrm isn't quite like the others and seems very intrigued by him

Although their first in face meeting wasn't the best, with her attacking him and managing to stab him in the ribs (you bet your ass Adamas chewed out his ass when he returned to their densite all bloody and holding his side), he kept returning to study her

Seems they both found each other intriguing

And eventually they get to talking, Ebur seemed excited to meet the first rootfolk in his life and actually to get to talk to her, he asks so many questions and she's amused with his curiosity, and eventually actually grows curious about the wyrms (and especially him) herself and asks him things in turn

They grow into unlikely friends though there's definitely more to it but neither is willing to acknowledge it yet

He often sneaks away from his family just to talk to her, and eventually they start sneaking into the more private parts of her groove with the excuse that they wouldn't want Ebur's family finding out they're friends, both of them just ignoring their glaringly obvious attraction to each other

One time Ebur brought her a kill he made and she hoped to GOD her blush wasn't noticeable (it was, not that he'd know because he was also avoiding eye contact to try and hide his own)

Ebur and the bad bitch he pulled by being autistic 💜

The group spends enough time around there for the two idiots to stop dancing around the subject and not only admit to their mutual attraction but to start to fall in love

Enough so that Ebur decides to stay when Adamas decides it's time to move on

At first she was about to talk sense into him about staying permanently in this place but he quickly corrected her

"No, no, it's not like that! I don't want to stay here permanently! I just..." He quieted down and looked away

"...You want to leave?"

"...mh..."

"Are you sure about this? Life as a lone wyrm isn't easy out there in the Wastelands, perhaps it'd be better if you stuck around until we find a suitable territory for you to stay at-"

"No, dame, I- I want to leave now. I think it's time. I love you all and I'll miss you, but...I just...I want to see what's out there for myself. Every year, every day, feels the same now; find some place, stay for a bit and hunt, move on. I- I can't live like this, it feels...suffocating."

"...You were always the curious kind, weren't you? I should have known this routine would bore you eventually," She sighed heavily and approached him, "I always knew this day would come, I just never expected it to be my youngest and smallest wyrmling that leaves the nest first..." She pulled him into a tight hug, "...Stay one last night with us, and if you're still sure about this after tomorrow's hunt I'll leave some supplies for you when we move on."

He smiled and hugged her back, "...Thank you..."

"Just promise me you'll be safe, okay?"

"You taught me well. I'll be alright, I promise."

He spends lots of time with his siblings and mother the next day, maybe Melpomene proposed she could come with since they were always the closest but he reassured her he wanted to be alone

The goodbye is very tearful, even Adamas cries and she's not the type to do that often

Ebur feels a little broken seeing them go, it feels weird being completely alone, strangely quiet too - he usually likes the quiet, but not this time. He goes to hunt to keep his mind off it then that evening he gathers his things and moves them to a densite way closer to his root's (his root, saying that makes him so giddy) and goes to share his kill with her

And that night, for the first time in their lives, he goes to sleep curled up around her amongst her roots. It does help him feel much better about having to say goodbye to his family

He spends the rest of the year in her groove with her - from summer to winter - before she's finally ready to move on next spring and he happily follows her to look for a new home for the both of them

Despite the new normal being hard to get used to at first he was still so unbelievably happy with her

And Quercus was considerably easier to hide their relationship from than his own family, considering they're on the outskirts of his territory and Ebur never saw him in person. As far as Quercus is concerned, Amanita just has a mild wyrm problem that she's handling well on her own

A few different things could happen from then on

Could either go canon compliant or pull out one of my fav moves, a cute domestic AU where they don't found Hallownest or do it later down the line after already having children and just live for a while as a happy family

And also the Drama Flavour where Ebur ends up pregnant despite them not trying to, they say fuck it and have them but he gets very sick and she brings him to her father for help, cue him being appalled that she's partners with a wyrm and her telling him to suck a dick and she'll take care of him herself, then they have the worst luck ever after finding a brand new territory and stumble onto Ebur's family, and Adamas has some very strong opinions about him being mates with a root (she doesn't even realise he's expecting otherwise it would have been. Worse). Fucking Romeo and Juliet up in here

For the last idea, I like the idea of Adamas questioning if that root can even provide for him or any possible clutches he might have in the future and he gets so pissed off he bristles, tells her to drop it and he's done with her attitude and to get the fuck off his territory. She bristles and calls him out on being so cocky as to tell her to get out

"If you're so confident then come on, defend your territory! Kick me out yourself!"

"Stop it-"

"Come on, boy! Show me you can actually protect yourself and yours! If you want me out them force me out!"

"I'm not going to fight you, mother!"

"...Tsk, you even talk like her."

"...Just...Just leave...please."

She circles him, "You should know words won't be enough to protect your territory from intruders, and that young root definitely doesn't have it in her to do it. You promised me you'll stay safe, so show me you can actually take care of yourself!"

Instead she gets violently thrown back by a white root after Amanita returns to check up on her hubby <3

Puts herself between them, ready to snap their necks with her roots if she has to

"He told you to leave, so leave. Or should I make you, you old bag?"

"Amanita-"

Of course, it was 25% him not being willing to fight his own mother and 75% him being sick and not willing to risk the pregnancy, but he's not gonna tell her that when she reacted so negatively about him being mates with a root (and his siblings def teased him before the situation got serious)

He's gonna be SO fucking depressed about this later though

But I also just like the idea of them finding the place that would later become Hallownest and founding the kingdom together

Ebur: Babe do you want me to beat up this old slug for you?

Amanita: Oh how romantic~

Unn:(live slug reaction)

Unn: Just take the damn territory and leave me alone, you brats

I also made an entire AU with Integrity where PK moves on with his family with a promise that he'll be back next spring for her, only to realise he's expecting. And I am obsessed with this version, it's cute and domestic (in a wyrm kind of way) and I am sucker for these things.

Ebur leaves with his family, promising to return to her next spring so they can leave together, but what he DIDN'T account for was him getting pregnant

So now he has to think up an idea to sneak away and keep his pregnancy hidden until he's back with her. Very hard to do with his mother around, an old wyrm with decades worth of clutches she's reared into adulthood by herself, she sussed him out embarrassingly quickly

Ebur, trying to sneak out: 💦💦💦

Adamas, like she’s scolding a teen: where are you going at this hour?

Ebur: …. A walk to clear my head?

Adamas: do you think that excuse worked with your siblings back then?

Ebur: … no

Adamas: do you think it’s gonna work now?

Ebur: ……… no

Ebur, quickly thinking of something else: ......hunting...

Adamas: Hunting?

Ebur: Hunting.

Adamas: At midnight? With your white, glowing ass? After we just ate?

Ebur: .........I'm hungry.

Adamas: Uh-huh

Ebur, bristling: Well! I'm a grown wyrm, I can do what I want!

Adamas: Oh can you now?

Ebur: 💦💦💦

Adamas: You're an adult but I'm still this group's leader, including yours

Ebur: Yes, dame. I'm sorry, dame

He does his best to mask his scent and keep his hormones and instincts under control, tries to sleep a little further from the group, is very careful on hunts and starts eating away from them when food aggression starts kicking his ass

One time Adamas finally approached him at meal time, throwing him her portion

"Here, eat up."

He looks at her, confused, "...I...what?"

"Just eat, kid."

He hesitantly takes it and leaves it near as he continues with his portion, "Don't you need to eat also?"

"Eh, I've eaten enough. Besides, I'm not the one who's eating for more than one right now."

"HRK-"

He looks at her, horrified, and she can't help but laugh

"What? You think I haven't noticed? Come on, you could fool your siblings with your excuses but I've had plenty of clutches of my own," She pats him on the shoulder, "Come on, eat up, kid. You need to put some meat on these bones."

He sighs heavily and goes back to eating, red in the face and a little awkward, unable to look her in the eyes as she's just observing him

"...If you copulated around the time of your first heat last spring-"

"HRNK?!"

"Oh, don't be like that, you're not a child anymore. Anyway, your due date should be in winter...not the ideal time to have a clutch, but we could make this work. You'll need to eat a lot if this kid is to have any chance of survival, though," She looked back st him, "...If you want to keep it, that is."

He goes quiet, his tail curling in close, "...I...y-yeah, I do..."

"...Alright, if that's what you want."

"You seem nervous."

"...How- how could I not be? I mean, all of this, it's...it's my first brood, and if they're due in winter..."

She scoots closer to him and wraps her tail around him, "Hey...you're not alone in this, okay? You have your siblings and I, we'll take care of you and your young. It's going to be alright." And she nuzzles him gently

Obviously they figure out the children are part root, but only some time after they're born

At least now Ebur has an excuse to return to her, saying she'd have valuable input on caring for them

That doesn't stop his siblings from teasing him about possibly wanting to see her again and being in love (they're right, but he's not about to admit it)

Also the moment he accidentally let's her name slip he's not gonna hear the end of it

Adama: So you want to return to the groove?

Ebur: Yes. I mean, she taught me a lot about rootfolk, but-

Io: Uh-huh, I bet she did. Close and perso-

Ebur, slapping him with his tail: ...Anyway. She told me a lot, but still, Amanita would kno-

Adustus: YOU KNOW HER NAME?!

Ossum: OHHH, LITTLE LOVERBOY IS ON FIRST NAME BASIS WITH THE ROOT~?

Ebur: You're killing me

God can you imagine what kind of pains in the ass these cunts were when Adamas and Ebur broke the news to them

Constant teasing and asking who it was

Ebur gets no rest

Adamas takes her little shits on a training hunt again

"Why do we need to train anyway? You've taught us how to hunt seasons ago."

"I did, but not with two members down. You need to practice now before your sibling stops being able to join us on hunts."

"...two...?"

"Yes, two. It'll be safer if somebody stays behind with Ebur when he's further along and carrying for his young, so I need to know we'll be able to provide for this family with two hunters down and more mouths to feed."

"...Can't I join your hunts anyway? You hunted by yourself while pregnant, didn't you?"

"I did, but I was also alone, I had no choice. You shouldn't have to choose between your children's safety and finding food. We live as a family for a reason, what would we be but animals if we don't take care of each other? I'm not letting you or your young live like lone nomads when you have us."

They also hunt more since Ebur needs more food, especially later down the line, and if anybody complains she's gonna cut that shit down SO fast

"I don't want to hear it! Ebur and the brood they're carrying are your kin, so start acting like it and have some damn respect. Do you think Ebur would be here complaining if the roles were reversed? Do you think they wouldn't care for you when you need it? We're a family, we take care of each other, in sickness and in health. Your sibling and his children need you. If that's a problem for you, you're free to leave and live as a nomad, but as long as you follow me and are a part of this family I don't want to hear any complaining, got it?"

"...yes, dame. I'm sorry."

"Instead of apologising to me make yourself useful. And treat your siblings kinder, one day you might be the one who needs their help so you better hope your words don't come back to bite you then."

Adamas is a strict parent but very much loves her family and it's so important to her that they take care of each other <3

She's a good mum, if a little bit hard on them at times

Melponeme, loafing in front of Ebur: ….

Ebur: …. What. Go away

Melp: im not touching you

Ebur: what do you want

Melp, loafing, staring: ……….

Ebur: ………………

Melp: you’re gettin fat

Ebur: no shit it’s almost like a have a litter growing inside me

Melp, reaching over to poke his stomach:

Ebur, batting: stop that!!!

Melp: how many do you think they’re gonna be?

Ebur: I dunno

Melp: probably like. A lot of you keep growing at this rate

(And then it's just two. Absolute menace <3 won't give him a break)

Ebur, growling:

Adamas: Dear, if you keep poking at a predator like that it's gonna strike

Melp: Nahhh, they're harmle-

Ebur, pouncing on her:

Melp: !!!

"Don't be too rough with your sibling, they're expecting."

"Oh come on! They started it! They can't keep holding the pregnancy thing over our head constantly!"

Ebur sitting there like >:3

“Well they’ve got a few more months and then it’s fair game”

"Oh, so you'd beat up a new parent and leave my children orphaned? How cruel"

"I'm not gonna kill you, you maniac?!"

Also once he's much further along he digs himself a separate den and slowly moves in there, it worries his siblings but Adamas assures them it's normal, wyrms prefer to be alone in the first few days before and after giving birth

"Are you sure they're okay? Can't they stay with us?"

"Pff, would you prefer to get growled at and possibly mauled every time you come into your den? They'll be fine, don't worry."

His siblings go out hunting and gathering more often after that and finally give him lots and lots of warm and soft bedding for his new den

"Since you'll sleep alone we thought you and the baby could use some warmer bedding."

And he can't help but smile and wag his tail

Wondering if wyrms would have a word for aunt/uncle and what would it be?? Obviously not auncle, since aunt and uncle aren't wyrm temrs

Currently they don't have any, anybody beyond your parents, siblings and young are just "kin"

Maybe they'd use cousin? (As in. Also use cousin, not a replacement for aunt/uncle. I realised I worded this weird)

Half of this is Ebur's siblings fretting over him and Adamas having to keep them straight and from freaking out KDBDJRB

“GET OUT OF MY DEEENNNN”

“Oh but we worry about our poor lil sibling!!”

“FUCK OOOFFF”

Gonna get hissy and pissy and Adamas will just shake her head and say she warned them

“Can we see the babies now— UAGH”

“-HISSSSS-“

Glaring at them from the entrance of his den before the babies even arrive

"You're so lucky I'm round and slow right now"

“Hehe spherical”

“Shut the fuck up”

Also been thinking about the delivery. This sounds weird,,

TW for childbirth, pregnancy, etc, and mention of near infant death

Anyway, his siblings would notice he stopped eating, only stays in his den, and would bring it up to Adamas

Her ear just twitches and she looks over at his den, "...Seems the little one will arrive any moment, then."

"Huh?"

"How can you tell?"

"I also stopped eating like two to three days before I had you or any of my previous litters. It's normal. Just give them some space, they're going to be especially irritable now."

Then one night one of them wakes up and immediately wakes the others, as Adamas isn't in the den. They peek out to look for her and find her just sitting nearby and staring at Ebur's den

"...Dame? Why aren't you in the nest?"

"Quiet down. Do you smell that?"

They pause to scent the air

"...blood?"

"...It's been a while," She gets up and dusts herself off, "I'll go check up on your sibling, you keep watch for me. Don't come too near, he's probably stressed as is."

She approaches his den and they see her quietly talking before she disappears inside. They keep watch as promised, though all of them are fidgety and uneasy, pacing and shifting around, trying to chat to pass the timd

After what feels like forever though one of them tells them to shut up for a moment and when they do they can hear very faint cries coming from the den

They wait with held breaths and eventually Adamas stalks out of the den holding bloodied bedding (to a group of nervous wyrms looking at her like 👁👁 👁👁 👁👁 👁👁 👁👁, almost makes her laugh)

"...so?"

"So what?"

"Dame, please-"

She snickers, "There's two."

They all seem excited, which makes her smile

"How are they?"

"Ebur is fine. One of the wyrmlings is strong, and the furstborn..." She trails off, swishing her tail, "They'll make it, if they survive this night."

The five visibly deflate at the news

"...Are they gonna...?"

"Only time will tell. Like I said, if they survive this night they should be okay. Don't repeat this to Ebur, though, they've had enough of hardships for one night," She turned to leave, "I'll go burry these sheets. You five, go hunt for your sibling and their young, they're going to need the strength. I'll look after them."

They hurry off, a hunt seems like a good opportunity to blow off some steam

When they return, Adamas shows them how to thinly mince the meat for the the newborns before she delivers the food to Ebur and his kids

That's pretty much the norm for the next few days, Adamas is the only one who he allows into the den so she updates the siblings on the situation and stays with him while they go hunting

The day after, after they made their hunt for the day and Adamas once again disappears into their sibling's den with the food, was probably the most stressful. The five waited for her for what seemed like eternity and immediately pounce on her for info like young wyrmlings the second she's out

"Won't you five calm your tails?! Your sibling and their young are fine."

"And the firstborn?"

"They're doing much better and seem strong. You can stop panicking."

Though they're less intense about this afterwards, everytime Adamas leaves the den she's met with five wyrms staring at her and eagerly awaiting any updates

"Do they have names yet?"

"Ebur said they did pick already, you'll learn them once you meet the younglings"

"UUUUGHHH"

"MAAAAN"

"Stop being dramatic, it's only a few more days"

The five also get an idea to make the twins little clothes so they can stay warm and cosy

They get to gift them to Ebur once they finally meet the little ones

One day, after nearly a week, Adamas leaves the den to see the five wyrms once again waiting on her and she sighs heavily before smiling

"Alright, who wants to meet the babies?"

And they all get SO excited, before she has to remind them to keep calm to not spook their sibling or his kids

They go into the den one by one, which is thankfully big enough for all of them, where Ebur is laying in the corner, curled up around two little sleepy boundless and purring to them

His siblings are just awe struck at the babies and coo to them, showering them and Ebur with so many compliments

"They look a little odd for wyrmlings though, don't they?"

Io proceeds to get very roughly jabbed in the side by Fossor

"Ow, what the hell?!"

"Don't be an ass. Obviously they're not full wyrms, idiot, they're going to look different."

Though none of them is yet to clock that they're half-root

They get the babies thick clothes so they can crawl outside the den (under incredibly strick supervision by all 7 of their family members) once they're big enough

"Ebur, quit grooming them! They won't combust into flames if they have a speck of dirt or snow on them!"

"Mrrrr"

Melpomene: So, how did you name them?

Ebur: The firstborn is Hallow and the second born is Amaryllis

Io: Hm, weird names for wyrms

Ebur: 💦💦💦

Fossor, readying to hit him again:

Hallow, crawling towards Io with intent to Bite:

Io: Ohhhh little lad on a mission, what will they do? Beware the big bad wyrm

Hallow: Grrrr

Io:*casually just rolls away*

Hallow, flopping down and looking at him offended before SCREAMING angrily to voice their displeasure at inability to bite and maim uncle: EEEAAAAAAAAA

Gonna crawl towards him with even more determination

Adustus: Snrk- Stop giving the poor kid a workout and let them bite you

Io: If they wanna bite me they should prove it by getting me the legitimate way

Adamas: that one has a strong set of lungs

Ebur: mhm

Ebur: ...Was I this loud at their age?

Adamas: Absolutely. The loudest

Ebur: .......oh

Adamas: yeah. oh. Little snot

Ebur: hey!

Just wait till they figure out the connection between Amaryllis and Amanita

Of course loverboy would name the baby after a flower LMAO

"shut up. shut up. shut the fuck up. I dont wanna hear it. Shut your bitchass up."

Start teasing him that he is SO smitten and in love

None know just how right they are

He's gonna die or commit murder at this rate

Ebur being all "it's not like that, it's not like that" and then when he sees Amanita again they're all lovey dovey and cute

I think Adamas' group was in the groove for like 2 years so they did have time to develop a meaningful relationship, though it's still nothing compared to how they're gonna be in a few years KFBDJFH

Io: not like that my ass—

Ebur: Shut the fuck—

Amanita: :? Not like what my darling?

Adustus: he’s been swearing up and down it isn’t love and he hasn’t totally been courting you

Amanita, amused: aaaww my dear Ebur, so now you’re shy with your affections~?

Ebur, sputtering: Ami, please not in front of my family...

Ossum: AMI

Ebur: I BITE

Ossum: Yeah, I bet ~your Ami~ knows a thing or two about that, huh~?

Ebur: GRRRRR

Amanita, laughing a little: I haven’t heard you growl that loud since we first met my wyrm~!

Ossum: good gods y’all are nauseating

Adamas: Her wyrm, huh?

Ebur: NOT you too

Amanita, not helping as she nuzzles him: My wyrm~

She's having so much fun <3 He can't help but smile though

Ebur: You're...impossible, my darling

Amanita: 🥰

Adamas: So, how long have you been together?

Amanita: Officially? Only one year, but we've been courting for much longer than that~

Adamas: Oh, you're official hm? Ebur, you never told me you've found yourself a mate. Look at you growing up on me, my youngest wyrmling has a mate and children already

Ebur: My dame, please

Amanita: ....children?

Adamas: ... you didn't know?

Ebur: Hey i was suppose to surprise her with that dame!

Ebur: Plus, I only found out after I left, not like I could tell her I was-

Amanita, grabbing him: Darling, what's that about children?

Ebur: .... We have two my darling.

Amanita: We have children!?

Ebur: yes. Our...... time together has resulted in me becoming gravid. We have two healthy children

Amanita, shaking him: Show me!!

Ebur, laughing: Well, stop trying to give me whiplash and I will!

(They're so adorable it makes me sick <- Ebur's siblings probably)

Presents her with the two little guys with a big smile. Tells her their names and she kneels down to hold them both and nuzzle and give kisses and be so so emotionally happy about it

The rest of the family give them some privacy so they can have a proper reunion and Amanita can meet her children

She's so SO happy

Scoops all three of them up and nuzzles him, looks at them as if they're her whole world

"Oh, my darling, they're so beautiful, so perfect...I love them..." She whispers, her breath caught in her throat for a moment, "...I love you."

His heart skips a beat and he nuzzles in close and kisses her cheek, "I love you too..."

And the babies are gonna ruin the moment and squeaking in protest about being held <3

"ooohhh my little sprouts, I need to plant you in my den and watch you grow big and strong youre so precious~"

"wait like. Actually bury them??"

"A little yeah. They should be able to root I think"

"...hm!"

"...Unless they're more wyrm in that regard?"

"Well, they seemed to do just fine on meat, but there's no harm in trying other things. Maybe a combination will be best for them?"

"Oh dear..."

"Don't worry, my love, we'll figure it out together"

Theyre rowdy and like to run around and play

but for sleepy time they get to be buried in the dirt. Makes em giggle and keeps them warm

OH the convo between Adamas and his siblings in the meanwhile

Adustus: ...He's gonna leave, isn't he?

Adamas: Hm?

Adustus: I mean, with our group we can't stay anywhere for too long, especially in a small groove like this, we'd run out of prey. And a root wouldn't be able to keep up for long, they're stationary. And...I doubt he'd leave her, just look at them.

Adamas: ...He seems happy. It'd be good for the little ones to have both parents too.

Amanita, planting the babies for the first time:

Quercus, waking her up at ass o'clock after he sensed two new seedlings near her: 👀 👀 👀

Amanita: huh wh

Quercus: KIDS?? KIDS?? DO I HAVE GRANDKIDS PRINCESS???

Amanita: pfft. yes.

Amanita:

Amanita, internally: wait shit fuck

Quercus: oh hey that wyrm problem came back. Lemme drop by and see how my daughter is doing since im not busy

What a fucking reunion that would be huh

Adamas: I've heard you want to leave? Maybe you should come with us, then, it'd be easier for you

Amanita: Ah, but would you like to leave now? Relationships

She's aligned with Team L!! of course dnsjhd

Rie and L have a funny relationship because they've worked together for a while and seem close but aren't together (as far as the TF know at least. I'm not sure yet to what degree her relationship with L has progressed at the time the anime is set). but everyone who meets them goes: "a girl in love and a man who's apathetic"

She actually likes Light a lot, because he's a nice guy, when he's not Kira. would be friends with him in another life.

When it comes to 「Kira」 whoever they may be, she dislikes but understands them. She knows that there are problems in the world and a lot of them stem from "evil people", but she doesn't really believe in purely evil people, and also realises that Kira's methods are counterproductive.

Rie does NOT get along with Misa. she can tolerate her but only in small doses. She's always kind to her, though this is mostly so she can try to get information out of her.

As for the rest of the Task Force: Likes them all. She never met Ukita though cause she introduces herself a while after L does in my current plan. Thinks Matsuda is a little naïve and Chief Yagami is blinded by his love for his son.

At the moment I'm thinking Rie isn't an orphan but lived somewhere near Wammy's House when she was little. She loooves annoying Near, Matt and Mello.

Lore So Far

there's a lot of unrefined stuff, what I have here is likely to change

I mentioned beforehand she works with L for a few years before the Kira case. she actually spent a lot of her life tracking him down, basically just to play with him/annoy him because... she's just an ass like that. So eventually she was able to contact him and they played a Game of cat and mouse, detective vs detective (I have a minific written for this that I might share. also Rie's not quite a detective... kinda a vigilante? not sure how to explain)

my current plan is she ends up getting stuck in a situation like Light was, where L suspects her for a case (she hacked into his database and deleted all his files) and has to work with her and keep an eye on her. I'm considering that she purposely got caught bc she was in trouble with more dangerous people, but maybe L catches her because, well, he's the world's greatest detective and the dangerous people just encounter Rie later

she's eventually cleared of suspicion because she wasn't involved in the cases she wiped, she just deleted them to be annoying and win the Game. Rie sticks around to annoy L for a while but then in come the dangerous people!!

the reason for this isn't fully fleshed out yet, but she gets herself kidnapped and once they realise she worked with L they try to get information on him out of her (through torture pretty much). this bit is the bit I'm probably least happy with, I want to work on it more. but in the end her stomach gets cut open, she escapes and collapses/gets rescued, and L realises he can trust her.

Rie goes to various countries and does her own thing for a few years, occasionally assisting L on cases, before she comes to Japan for the Kira case

there's so much Kira related stuff that I think I'll make another post sometime haha.

but that is the simplified and unrefined version of her backstory!

Personality

a proud feminist!! because come on death note needs one. (I know I said earlier she likes Light and dislikes Misa but the way he treats her ticks Rie off)

honestly can be very annoying on purpose, like a sibling

that said she's a good person overall, has done suspicious contract work and whatever, but she loves people and she really cares for everyone in her life

energetic 50% of the time, asleep the other 50%.

Pretty analytical but definitely has and expresses emotions. Probably INTP but I'm not great with MBTI tying.

a sore loser. But instead of trying to win, she will just give up if she knows there's a chance of losing. that way she can tell herself that it was her decision and thus, she won.

Loves her friends + family and has a somewhat motherly vibe

Strengths

she's the smartest woman in the world!! because honestly it is a crime that all the smart people in death note are men and hey, it's kind of cool to make an oc who's the anything-est in the world. (I wouldn't say she's REALLY the smartest, she just has a fairly wide skill set and is intelligent. maybe the highest-achieving)

Well she hacked L's main databases so I think you can tell she's good with technology

Her major in uni was psychology! Criminal and maybe abnormal psych, that is. also has dabbled in sociology and neurology. Rie knows a lot of languages.

a good baker (this may be the real reason L didn't have her killed).

A cheerful presence, good at raising morale and making L seem more approachable and likeable to the Task Force. usually optimistic.

Weaknesses

I know I just said she's optimistic, but this is because she makes a conscious effort to be. Rie's got a lot of anxiety and worries, and struggles with several mental health issues.

Her pride is as bad as L's ego. Actually, she'd claim it's worse.

When she gets angry she gets ANGRY. will straight up punch someone in the face and yell for hours.

Rie has attachment and abandonment issues I think. also because of the whole torture thing she's got some pretty bad PTSD.

She can be really rude/blunt. claims this is unintentional.

Trivia!

Everyone on the Task Force thinks she binge drinks coffee. It's actually hot chocolate

Rie has a cat! her name is Synonym, nicknamed "Sin"

her favourite flowers are hydrangeas, bluebells, and roses (she's got a literal guns and roses aesthetic going on). Her favourite trees are wisterias and her favourite animals are either otters or elephants.

She's autistic (totally not because I'm autistic and can't write a neurotypical character)

Rie is actually just an alias. I'm debating on, if she lived near Wammy's, she might have met L and this would be a nickname derived from her middle name. but then I have to explain the "woah memory loss!!" in the whole database/suspicion incident. so, it's probably just a name that she likes. or maybe she shortened her own middle name.

The full alias is Rie Takamura. She also goes by Hina Suzuki (Japanese equivalent of Jane Doe) and 1429 (fourteen twenty-nine).

SHE LOVES CASINOS. her theme song would probably be "Joker and the Thief" (or maybe not, but it's in my playlist for her). Rie's very careful not to let herself get addicted to gambling but gosh she loves going to a casino, pretending to be a dumb girl, and counting cards until she can sweep the table off its legs.

Concept: Levi doesn't connect with his father too much, but he wants to help out. After working hard for years, Levi is going to be given the company. Meeting

Levi followed behind his father, someone he only just met a month ago. He loved his mother to death, but he wasn't very fond of his father for running as soon as he found out Kuchel was pregnant with Levi. When Levi got old enough, his dad walked back into the picture and wanted Levi to take over.

Levi's thoughts faded away and he tuned into the world around him when he watched his father scream and shout at someone. Levi moved and saw his father smack the papers out of your hands.

"You pathetic worm! You've worked for me for five years yet you still are as dumb as shit!" Levi's father slammed his foot on the papers just as you reached for them and caught your fingers. "I have a set spacing on any proposal. Improve it now."

You winced. "B-But sir, th-this comes f-from Ms Lewis."

His eyes widened. "What?"

"Sh-she's in your o-office."

He moved his foot from your hand. "Why didn't you tell me!?"

You gathered the papers up. "I did. I contacted you."

He checked his phone to see multiple messages from you. He blushed a little. He grabbed the water on your desk and dumped it on you. "Cool off. You don't embarrass me like that in front of my son."

You rubbed your cheek. "Yes sir, sorry sir."

Levi felt terrible that he didn't step in, but he was in so much shock. He wanted to help you so badly. He hated that there was a chance that you'd been going through this for five years.

Levi's father sighed. "Levi? I have this meeting. Just explore the office."

"Yes." He waited for his father to leave before approaching you. "I'm so sorry."

You blushed. "I'm used to it." You picked up the last of your stuff and put it on your desk. "Your father is a good man."

"Bullshit. He's a fucking asshole."

You locked eyes with Levi. "You don't like your father?"

"No. He left my mother because she was pregnant with me. He's a shithead."

You hummed. "I'm so sorry."

He stared at your chest and saw your pretty bra and breasts. He blushed a little and looked away. "You ah." He pulled his jacket off. "Here."

You gasped. "Oh, thank you, but I have spare clothes here."

"You do? Does that mean it happens often?"

"Sadly." You walked to your closet and opened it. "I have spare clothes here."

Levi watched you close the door leaving him alone. He sighed and thought about how he could make it up to you. He perked up when you came out of the closet in a cute dress. "Hey, so do you want to go for coffee?"

You blushed. "Oh, if it's tea then sure."

"You like tea?"

"I do."

He smiled. "Me too." He walked with you. "It'll be my treat. Could you tell me the ins and outs of this place? I feel like you'd know everything."

You giggled. "You're right, I do."

"Great."

Getting close

Levi stood reviewing products and approving them. He signed off on it all and knew he wanted to take the business in a better direction. He was slowly doing things behind his father's back. He was also treating you a lot as well. He wanted to make you happy like it was a compulsion inside him. He'd been spending so much time with you and just felt this calling whenever you were near.

Levi saw you hurrying past with two huge heavy boxes. "Excuse me." He ran over to you and called your name. "Hey! Let me take those."

You gasped as Levi grabbed the boxes. "Ah, oh umm...thank you."

He smiled as he walked with you. "My father make you carry these?"

"Yeah, but they're not that heavy. I've gotten stronger over the years thanks to him making me carry heavy things."

"Well, I'll take care of this." He shifted the boxes. "You're really impressive."

You blushed. "Oh, thank you." You tucked your hair behind your ear. "So are you."

He smiled and placed the boxes in the right place. "Can I ask you something?"

You nodded. "Sure."

"Well." He launched at you and pressed you against the shelving. He reached up and placed his hand on a stack of papers and stopped them from falling. "Are you okay?"

You blushed bright red. "Y-Yes."

He shoved everything back on before looking down at you. He blushed a little. He lightly touched your cheek and smiled. "Do you want to go out?"

"You mean for tea?"

He shook his head. "No, like a date."

You smiled. "Yeah. Yeah, I'd love to."

"Great."

You giggled. "Um, Levi?"

"Yeah?"

You nibbled your lip. "Could you maybe let me go?"

"I don't want to. I like you too much."

You blushed. "I meant here."

He lowered his arms. "Right, but I also don't want to let you go here either."

You leaned up and kissed the corner of his mouth. "I don't want to leave."

Levi blushed a little. He smiled and kissed you. "Let's go on that date later, yeah?"

You nodded. "Yeah."

Cute gifts and moments

You walked over to your desk to see a beautiful bouquet of flowers on your desk. You blushed hard and smiled at how pretty they were. You giggled at how they were all the flowers you loved. "Levi..." You sat down and opened a box of chocolates. You gasped when the box was grabbed. "Hey!"

Your boss stared at you. "You don't need these."

"They're a gift."

He smirked. "And? You know you shouldn't be eating these, just look at yourself."

Levi grabbed the chocolates from his father. "You have no right to judge others." He sat on your desk on your side. He opened the box and offered it to you. "Try one."

You whined. "I shouldn't."

Levi picked up one and bit half of it. "Mm, such delicious cherry."

You gasped. "I want to try!"

He fed it to you and ran his thumb over your bottom lip. "Was that good?"

You nodded. "Yeah."

He smiled. "You know, you look absolutely lovely."

You blushed a little. "Thank you."

He took another piece of chocolate and ate half of it before feeding you the other half. "Enjoy them."

You licked your lips. "Thank you."

He put his hand in his pocket as he turned his head to speak to his father. "I'll take over for today. You should either go home early, or relax in your office."

Levi's father glared at you. "Fine, but you shouldn't get involved with this woman. She's cheap like your mother. You need a rich bird."

Levi sighed. "Father? In the nicest way possible, fuck off."

He flinched at his son's words before laughing. "You're getting like a CEO more and more each day! I'll head out."

Levi waited for his father to leave before talking to you. "How are you today, beautiful?"

You smiled up at him. "I'm alright. How are you?"

"Much better now I'm with you."

You stood up and walked up to him. You stood between his legs and held his tie. "You know, this tie looks really good on you."

Levi smiled. "Thank you. My girlfriend got it for me. She's a wonderful woman."

You giggled. "She sounds the best."

He leaned up. "I adore her. She's pretty, funny, kind, smart, strong..." he ran his hands up your body "and an incredible body." He moaned. "The shapes she can put herself into." He purred against your lips. "Incredible."

You kissed him and hummed in happiness. "I love you."

Levi smiled. "I love you too."

You pushed your fingers into his undercut and scratched just the way he liked it. "What a sweet and wonderful man you are. You've changed my life for the better. I'm glad you came here and agreed to meet your father, even if he's an asshole."

He smiled a little at your and pushed his hands under your skirt. "This skirt is very tight."

"It is?"

He nodded. "So very tight. Maybe I should take it off you to help you out?"

You giggled when you released what he was getting at. "You did that this morning."

He kissed you and moaned. "And what a great morning it was."

You pulled Levi's head against your breasts and hugged him. "My hero."

You giggled as you played with his hair. "So, do you really want to take over this business?"

"I think you're really good for this company."

"Thank you." He sighed. "I'm going to clear out his office and make it my own. I'm also going to move your desk into my office."

The party

You fixed your dress and smiled at yourself in the mirror. You walked out of the bedroom to see Levi in his living room having a drink as he looked out at the views of the city. You smiled as you admired how his suit gripped his muscular body.

You picked up your present for Levi and walked closer to him. "You look incredible."

He turned to you and blushed. "Holy shit...you...you look incredible."

You giggled. "Thank you." You offered him the present. "I got you something."

He took the little box from you. "Thank you." He opened it up to reveal a custom-made watch with an inscription on the back. He welled up a little as he touched the words and the leather strap. "This is wonderful. Thank you."

You clapped your hands. "Congratulations on becoming CEO!"

Levi smiled a little. "Thank you." He put the new watch on and admired it. "I love it. Thank you." He cupped your face and kissed you. "What a wonderful gift you've given me."

You giggled. "You're welcome. Mm, we should head to the party. Is your father attending?"

"At the start, but then he'll leave as soon as he hands it over to me."

"Well, we better get going."

He held your hand and walked with you to the waiting car. He sat next to you and placed his hand on the inside of your thigh. He massaged your sensitive skin before dragging his hand up and under your dress to cup your crotch.

"It's a lot better than it was." He stood in the lift with you. "You know, I don't see the point in a party. It's a lot of fuss being made over something small."

"It's not small, you're going to be turned into the CEO. This is a major thing."

He sighed and pulled you out of the lift. He groaned at the loud music. "Tch, my worst nightmare."

"I'll let your father do his whole congratulations thing. I'll get two drinks and I'll meet you in a spot we've made a lot of memories."

He nodded. "Sure."

He walked over to his father and listened to the boring speeches. He eyed the crowd and tried looking for you, but couldn't see where you'd gone. He gave a strained smile and shook his father's hand at the end of it all. Levi waited for his father to leave before he announced pay rises, policy changes and the change of the company name to Ackerman. He felt proud when people cheered on his ideas.

He chatted with some of his staff before leaving and walking around looking for you. He went up to your office area and opened your closet to see you sitting on the drawers in there. "Hi."

You smiled. "You found me."

He looked around the room and remembered how you moaned so perfectly in this room many times for him. "Well, I know you well."

You giggled. "You do."

He pulled you to your feet. "I have an office to show you."

You picked up both drinks from the floor and walked with Levi towards his office. "I'm excited."

He unlocked his office door and pushed it open. "Ta-da."

You slipped inside to see massive windows behind his sleek desk. You smiled at his little tea area. You gasped when you noticed a lovely desk to the side. "This for me?"

"Yeah. You'll be working in here with me now."

You hummed a laugh. "You sure I won't be a distraction?"

"I'm sure."

You giggled and sipped your drink. "It's wonderful." You walked over to Levi's desk and sat on it. "You've done a great job. I hated this place when your father ran the place. His choice in things was bad." You winced. "Such imposing things."

Levi downed his drink before walking over to you. He put his cup on the side and cupped your face. He kissed you and hummed. "He's gone now. So, let's focus on a new start for all of us here."

You smiled. "Yeah, you're right."

Levi moved his hands to your thighs. "I'm so happy we can start brand new. This is a good thing for this company." He kissed you and hummed. "I love you."

"I love you too."

He lay you back on his desk and smiled against your lips. "You're so wonderful."

You reached down and pulled at the buckle on his belt. "Want to christen your office?"

He chuckled. "I do."

You undid his belt and pulled his zip down. You pushed your hand inside his trousers and boxers. You smiled as he moaned at you touching him. "I love you."

"I love you so much. You're my everything."

"Mine too."

He moaned at your touch. He softly said your name. He moved a hand down to your chest and massaged your breast. "I can't wait to spend my life with you."

MARISOL ESTRADA - COURIER SIX

👨‍👨‍👦 FAMILY - what is their family like? what is their relationship to their family? do they have any siblings?

Marisol only really had her older brother, Santiago. She knows they had parents at one point, but she doesn't remember much about them at all. She thinks she remembers what her mother looks like & can only confirm so much through the stories Santiago has told her.

After their parent's deaths, Santiago moved them around a bunch. Eventually they settled in a small town near a Desert Ranger station. When Marisol was 9, her brother joined up with them & finally told her about the fate of their parents.

Their father, Leonardo, was once apart of the Desert Rangers, fighting against slavers in the wasteland, while their mother, Renata, was apart of the Followers of the Apocalypse as a doctor. Leonardo died in the line of duty & a few months later Renata was killed trying to help people outside of the Boneyard where they had originally lived.

After joining the Rangers, Santiago didn't get to visit as much, leaving Marisol in the care of his then-girlfriend. Until Marisol was old enough to look out for herself, Santiago had a habit of charming people both into his bed & into looking after Marisol. She has many memories of being cared after by his various partners (all vetted by her brother before Marisol even met them). Still, Marisol revered her older brother (& still does). She doesn't hold his prolonged absences against him because every time he did get to visit, it was all the more sweeter for it (absence makes the heart grow fonder & all of that).

Santiago ended up leaving the Rangers after the Ranger Unification Treaty, not wanting to be beholden to the NCR. When Marisol was 19, she signed up to be a Courier for the Mojave Express. While it was never for any great reasons, the moving around she & her brother did when she was a kid made her fall in love with traveling, & being a Courier seemed to suit her just fine.

Present day, the two still keep in contact. Santiago ended up settling down in Nipton years before the Legion massacred it; however, when the Legion did arrive, Santiago was already on his way to New Vegas to visit a friend. When Marisol came upon the town, intent on visiting him on her way to Novac, she was incredibly upset & panicked to discover the state of the town. She searched every house, building, & trailer & found no trace of him. She hoped against everything that he had gotten out somehow, & was relieved beyond words to find him in New Vegas when she eventually made her way there.

🥊 BOXING GLOVE - what is their go-to fighting style (hand-to-hand, short range, long range, etc)?

Marisol prefers to talk her way out of fights or sneak past them entirely. She's a sharpshooter & can work just about any gun you give her (Santiago taught her how to shoot & she practiced frequently in his absence in an attempt to impress him). However, her primary weapon right now is a standard caravan rifle! This may change as I play the game more, but she generally tries to avoid close range fights.

🐍 SNAKE - have they ever been stabbed in the back or stabbed anyone else in the back?

I haven't played enough of the game for any definitive answers (I know there's some shit with Ulysses but I don't understand it yet), but I don't think she'd do it intentionally! Unless the person was a huge dick to her.

🌵 CACTUS - what is a sore subject for them?

Despite her & Santiago having a good relationship, his absences (+ their parent's deaths) did inspire a small case of abandonment issues! She tends to get stressed out & antsy when she feels like she's being left behind or left out, especially if she's being left by someone she cares about.

FLORENCE "FLORA" GALLAGHER - LONE WANDERER

🍁 MAPLE LEAF - do they have a favorite season? what is it and why?

After living out in the wasteland for a while, Flora grew to really enjoy summer. She liked the feeling of the sun on her skin & how warm everything felt compared to the coldness of Vault 101. I think she suffers from seasonal affective disorder after leaving the vault due to the colder seasons having 1) less sun & 2) feeling too familiar to the vault, leading her into a darker state of mind.

❤️ RED HEART- are they easy to love? (if not) what makes them so difficult?

She doesn't think she is to be honest, especially during her 20s. She had so much happen to her in such a short time that she really felt like she was just a complete burden to everyone even though that was the furthest thing from the truth. I actually think her & Butch break up for a long time because Flora feels like she just. can't handle any sort of relationship in her current state. They reconnect towards the end of their 20s & Flora is doing so much better & while she hasn't fully healed, she's doing leagues better than she was & doesn't actively want to die.

🍿 POPCORN - do they like being the center of attention or more in the shadows?

She despises being the center of attention, it makes her anxious, but she doesn't like being sidelined to the shadows like she isn't there either. She just prefers to be acknowledged.

🎞 FILM - what is their greatest / happiest memory?

Happiest memory is definitely when she got her G.O.A.T results & found out she'd be following in her dad's footsteps as a doctor. She loved her dad more than anything & she'd never felt closer to him than in that moment. She remembers him telling her how proud of her he was & she keeps that memory real close to her heart.

Three months you’ve been keeping this secret. From your family, your friends, your coworkers and from your best friend Michael. You decided today was the day you were going to tell him.

You were going to tell him about your one night stand from that cute guy at the bar you poured your heart and soul to about how she’s in love with her best friend and because of alcohol and heightened emotions and the need to feel close to someone, you brought him back to your place.

Now, three months later, you’re carrying the only evidence that it ever happened in your belly. Your baby is the size of a plum but your love for it is the size of the sun. You didn’t tell the father because you never got his contact information and you doubt he’d stick around, it was a one night stand after all.

You walk into Michael’s house, dogs greeting you happily as you venture down the hall to his bedroom. When you come inside it’s a warzone.

“Did your closet throw up?” you ask tugging on your oversized shirt. You’ve opted for larger clothes to hide your growing belly, it’s not that big yet but still.

“No. I’m trying to decide which clothes to bring for tour,” he mumbles.

“Tour. Right, that starts . . . holy shit, tomorrow doesn’t it?” you ask becoming nervous. Since becoming pregnant, you’ve gotten a little more forgetful. There’s no way you can drop this news on him now.

“Yeah, has been for the last three months,” he chuckles tossing a sweatshirt in his suitcase. “What’s up? Want to do one last night of switch and pizza before I go?”

“Sure,” you smile.

The rest of the night is spent trying to act normal for Michael as you play mario kart and eat pizza. The dogs are cuddling you a lot more than normal and Southy keeps sniffing at your tummy and you hope Michael doesn’t notice.

You’re woken the next morning to Michael gently nudging you awake, it’s still pretty dark outside.

“Hey, I’m heading to the airport but you can stay sleeping,” he whispers and you sit up rubbing your eyes. “I’ll call you when I land, okay?”

“Okay,” you sigh holding your arms open and he gives you a tight hug.

“Love you,” he kisses the top of your head.

“Love you too, Mikey.”

The next six months were even harder keeping your pregnancy from Michael. You finally told your friends and family but had them swear not to tell Michael because he needs to focus on performing. When he’d call it was easy to hide it, but when he wanted to facetime you really had to come up with clever ways to hide your belly.

Ironically, after you gave birth to your baby boy Theo and you spent the first couple months building his routine and loving on him, it was when Michael was the busiest on tour. It was nearing an end soon, so would your secret.

You’d stay up most nights thinking of his reaction and so many different scenarios played out in your head. He’ll scream at you and never talk to you again. Or he won’t say anything and just leave.

When Theo turns four months old, that’s when Michael will be home again and he’ll be by to pick up the dogs. You always watched them when he went away and they’ve been amazing with Theo.

Theo is in the living room in his tiny bouncer when Michael said he’s just pulled up. Your hands are clammy and your stomach has flipped upside down as you wait for him by the front door.

When it opens, the dogs start barking and attack him as he falls to the floor letting them. He pets them the best he can while saying hello then looks up at you, he gives you a funny look.

“You look different,” he muses standing up to his feet and pulls you into his arms for a tight embrace.

You melt into his touch, breathing him in and feeling his presence. You hadn’t realized how much you missed him and you hope this won’t be the last hug.

“Your hair looks longer,” you smile tousling his blond locks. “Um, so I am different but in more ways than my looks.”

“What are you talking about?” he asks in confusion when you pull away. His hands are still on your elbows.

“Um, there’s someone I want you to meet,” you say nervously and back away to the living room. “Stay here and let me explain before you say anything. Okay?” You hold up your pinky for him to take, a serious pact between you two. He links his pinky with yours.

You lift Theo from his bouncer and he wriggles in your arms until he’s nestled comfortably in your arms. You appear in the kitchen and Michael’s eyes get wide as saucers.

“Three months before you left on tour, I hooked up with a guy and I was going to tell you but you were literally leaving for tour the next morning and I couldn’t drop that bomb on you and I didn’t want to do it over the phone and please don’t hate me. But this is my son, Theo and he turned four months old today and I really don’t want you to hate me,” you say all in one breath. Michael just stares.

And stares. And stares. And stares.

“Please say something,” you beg adjusting Theo in your arms.

He takes a careful step forward, looking between you and Theo over and over again. He keeps stepping until he’s right in front of you and brushes his finger on Theo’s small forehead.

“He looks just like you, Y/N,” he says softly. “The only thing I’m mad about is that you’ve been doing this all on your own. Where’s his dad? Did he kick you to the curb? I’ll kick his ass right--”

“I never told him. I don’t even know his name or got his number. It’s better this way, Mikey. Me and Theo. . . we’re doing okay,” you smile down at your beautiful baby boy.

Michael watches you rock him gently then holds out his arms. “Can I hold him?”

“Yeah! Yes, of course you can,” you smile and place Theo in his arms. He rocks him carefully, his long finger touching his nose. He coos at him gently and smiles at him even though Theo’s eyes are closed.

“Move in with me.”

“What? Mikey, no, this isn’t your responsibility--”

“I don’t care. I want to help, and he’s so amazing and I love him so much even though I just met him. Let me help you take care of him, you’re my best friend.”

Your heart jolts, both at the sight of him holding your son and at the fact that he wants to help you even though Theo isn’t his. And just like that, you agree and you’re more in love with him than before, which basically was how Theo was conceived.

Yaaayyyy join me in MCU feels hell. And oooh, you have a ship for the fandom now! Like, Stoki’s still my favorite Steve pairing but Stony’s really cool too…you know I ship almost everything XD (also am I the only person who sorta hated almost everyone by the end of CW? Like, of course they’re still my favs and there are still some cinnamon rolls, but, come on. Why couldn’t you all just get along ;-;)

Speaking of Illumi, do you know that Hisoka/Illumi is an incredibly popular ship in the HxH fandom? Probably because both of them are so horrible that they have like 0 friends other than each other. Nobody else wants to hang out with these losers. (Chrollo tolerates Hisoka and the adults in Illumi’s family seem to spend enough time with him to give him orders, but that’s about it.) It’s a trash ship with two trashy people and tbh I love it XD

So continuing with the eye jokes, imagine. Hisoillu version of Helpless. Hisoillu version of Satisfied.

I’ve heard of Soul Eater and considered reading it but it’s not really the kind of thing I’m into…artwork’s cute, though, and Death the Kid seems like an interesting guy so maybe someday XD

AGH I’M ACTUALLY SORTA JEALOUS BECAUSE WOW I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA HOW TO WATCH THAT LEGALLY HERE IN KOREA. (unless I ask my dad for help but he doesn’t like manga/anime at all, so…) But yes, I’m really happy Lizzy finally got her moment this time! Now anime-only fans can’t complain about her being a ‘shallow’ character so hopefully there’ll be less fighting over Lizzy in the Kuro fandom :D

FINALLY. Fellow Death Note fan <3333 Who’s your fav? Do you have any ships? Are you done with the anime??? :D (also do you know…you picked a really interesting time to join the DN fandom. The American live-action movie just came out and it sucks so freaking bad, like I haven’t even watched it yet and just from the reviews/clips, here’s what I got:

-They turned Misa into this Harley Quinn-type character. Only without any depth.

-Light/Misa is an actual canon ship, like, it’s not abusive or one-sided like it is in the anime/manga, it’s just…a thing. Light loves Misa. Misa loves Light. It’s like every cringey high school romance movie ever, only with more murder

-They freaking bent the Death Note rules just so Light could get away with all sorts of ridiculous stuff

-L cries, L rants, L is overly emotional

-Light tells L where he hid a page from his Death Note. Light doesn’t deny being Kira. Light shows Misa his Death Note when they like barely know each other and she’s still a complete stranger to him. Light acts like an idiot.

-Oh sure, he’s Kira, God of the New World, but he still cares about going to prom with his girlfriend and making stupid faces as they pose for pictures

-So much unnecessary gore. Heart attacks are Kira’s thing, Light isn’t that emotional about his kills, he doesn’t care as long as the 'villains’ are dead, so why???

-Apparently Rem does not exist. Sayu doesn't exist either. Light’s mom is dead (probably so he can angst over her)

-Light Turner. Light TURNER. Out of all the surnames they could have chosen…

-And now, for the most unforgivable sin:

How dare they not include the Potato Chip scene)

And then random things: JJ and Light have the same voice actor. Yurio and Mello (imo…have you met Mello yet?) could be long-lost twins.

I’ve fallen into Steven Universe hell and now I’m imagining so. Many. Gem AUs. Have you ever heard of SU?

2- I don’t really know what to say 'cause I’m bad at comforting people, but ugh, it sucks to hear that school’s tiring you out! Queen Luna’s gonna get through this, though. I mean, you’re great at so many things and you’re freaking smart and…this is awkward but maybe you understand Evans Language by now? XD Guess I’m just trying to say that I’m sure you’ll do great, and if you ever need someone to talk to I’m (almost) always free *hugs*

3- Um. So, other than tumblr, I think the only way I can talk with you right now is if we email each other? The email address I used this time is my real one (or rather, my dad’s, since I don’t have one of my own yet…) so maybe we can talk about this more through email and find a better way to contact each other? Okay, but one thing I’m wondering about, is How? Not in a malicious way or anything, I’m genuinely curious to why you ship Stoki (and where it began). Was it that redemption fic you told me about or did you ship it before?

Tbh, I didn’t hate the characters in CW, I hated the situation. Because there’s so so much pointless conflict that could easily be solved if everyone sat down and talked like normal people. But nooo we have to go around attacking each other. ((ALSO CAP’S LETTER TO TONY, I AM DEAD))

I’ve already learned (and experienced) that shipping is a very weird and unusual thing, so I’ll be honest and say I’m not even surprised that ship exists. At least it has some basis XD

I’m actually tempted to go through the lyrics of the whole musical and find every single eye line there is, only to replace it w Illumi’s eyes.

Not only zooming in on the eyes, the word itself is louder than the rest XD man if only I could draw…

Tbh I’d say I’m responsible enough (HA, that’s more or less a lie), but I’m honestly way too irritated with the little ones to be able to have one of my own. My cousin recently celebrated her 3rd bday and I was stuck looking after her during the party, bc all the adults were talking among themselves and I swear to god, I haven’t moved that much since I had to run 2km for PE. Where do they get their energy. Not to mention the adults thought it would be a good idea to leave me w her, because I’d already drunk 3 glasses of wine (i was bored and not allowed to do anything other than stare at emptiness or look after a 3yo). Turns out my tolerance isn’t that bad after all.

Lol let’s be honest, Ishida would totally do that. He knows the fandom would riot and that’s the whole point.

All the death flags. Tbh I don’t know how I feel about it. It’s obvious that either Touka or Juuzou are probably gonna die and I wan’t neither (If I have to choose tho, I’d rather Juuzou survives.) Also Naki. HNNNNNNGH

I think you’d actually like the manga? It takes a pretty dark turn compared to the anime and deals with lots of mental issues (the whole theme of the later volumes is Madness). Also, lots of death XD Well, the artwork changes drastically, so which one are you talking about XD

The girl in the coat (left first pic, middle 2nd) is the same person for reference. Death the Kid was one of my first anime crushes. The guy has OCD and is a total badass.

MUHAHAHAHA I think someone uploaded the Lizzy fight to youtube so you can probably find it there, but I am in love. The animation is beautiful, so that’s also a huge plus. All in all, it was handled really well.

Death Note

So last I’ve watched is ep 25, aka the one WHERE L DIES. And i am not okay. I am nowhere near okay. Nope. Not at all.

Oh i’ve heard all about the adaptation. Tbh I find the whitewashing hilarious. Setting the movie in America removes so much of the series’s logic, so why? L being the way he is is probably my favourite mistake. They took the best character and ruined him completely. POTATO CHIP SCENE NOOOO But my question is: did everything go just according to the keikaku?

Have fun w SU! I’ve watched it for a while, but gave up at some point. I might pick it up again if I have the time ^^ Word of advice, watch out for the fandom, they’re among the most toxic ones I’ve ever encountered. One time, they almost drove an artist to suicide because she didn’t draw Rose ‘thick enough’. So yeah.

Um. Looks like we’ll be staying here, because I never, ever check my mail, despite getting school assignments there, so yeah. If we used mail, you’d probably get a response every leap year.

How does the education system work in Korea? Like, at what age do you start going to which school?
