Thuggory: Have you ever gotten the urge to just get a bunch of catapults, line them up, and then watch them destroy and crush things? I feel like that's a very Viking thing to do. Maybe I should ask Father to suggest that as a new Viking sport for next year's Althing.

Fishlegs: I want to be a caterpillar.
Hiccup: Explain?
Fishlegs: Eat a lot, sleep for a while, wake up beautiful.
Hiccup: You are aware that they have a lifespan of two to five weeks, correct?
Fishlegs: That’s another highlight.
Hiccup: Fishlegs, no—
Humongous: You are very mature for your age, Hiccup.
Hiccup: Thanks, it’s the trauma.
Camicazi: You call it a near death experience- We call it a vibe check from God!
Hiccup: When I asked if my day could get any worse it was a rhetorical question. NOT A CHALLENGE!
Fishlegs: You’re up early this morning.
Hiccup: ....
Fishlegs: You never went to sleep, did you?
Hiccup: You’re an attention-seeker.
Camicazi: What?! I’m the total opposite of an attention-seeker. I’m the best there ever is, I do not- hey, don’t look away when I’m talking here!
Camicazi: Do you think I don’t like you? I do. I would kill for you!
Camicazi: Please ask me to kill for you.
Hiccup: …First of all, calm down.

FINE.
FINE FINE FINE
I have a movie rant and I NEED to get it out.
I really.
I really need to talk about the third installment to HTTYD. YUP. HTTYD the hidden world
i know this is pretty weird compared my other content and movie/show rants. But I REALLY need to talk about this.
I saw the hidden world when it came out. I thought it was pretty good when I first saw it. But it felt off even the first time through. The thing that made me realize it's mistakes, it was TOOTHLESS- Toothless in the first movie was so fun to watch. He reminded me of a cat, and it was beautifully fun. But in the hidden world? He felt stiff, and- square? I had a hard time enjoying watching him.
Look see what I mean-
Tumblr media
In the first film, toothless is primarily triangles, giving him that sleek, interesting look. But by in the 3??? Hes more rectangles.
I HATE THIS. and also- in the first film, toothless is a DARK BLUE- in the 3rd, he's a black color! It's just- ugh.
I love character design, we know this. And I'm not saying I'm perfect at it, BUT THIS???? HUH??
And according to what I read, toothless in the first one was inspired by cats. But in the third, he's inspired by DOGS??? H U H???
And they gave the cat like characteristics to the light fury
OH GOD THE LIGHT FURY.
I've never liked her. She felt so out of place. Her design felt like it was missing things that dragons, ESPECIALLY DRAGONS WHO WERE TRAPPED BY TRAPPERS. she is such a fucking sexist character I hate her.
I mean in the art book they even say they wanted her to have this alluring lady character look. I hate it.
Also look at her design compared to the first movie toothless.
Tumblr media
It feels like the light fury is a carbon copy of toothless in the first film.
Also I hate the costumes in the third film they feel like toys *sweats in I literally have action figures so I would know*
Now, my next rant. The comedy.
I will be honest, it made me laugh. Ironically, and more from nostalgia. The humor was so bad. Only two jokes made me laugh. The one in the beginning from toughnut where he says 'no running on deck' that got a chuckle from me. And the second one I don't remember.
One of the running jokes between Valka and snotlout is really creepy and weird. I also hate snotlouts joke of him saying 'who died and made you chief-' and yes, I know he was called out for it, BUT IN THE FIRST TWO FILMS HE WAS NEVER THIS INCONSIDERATE!!
They did my bro dirty. I mena hell, snotlout was someone who looked up to stoak. Who cried at his funeral. It's so out of character. Same thing with everyone else.
I hate this so much.
Oh let's talk about how toxic Light fury and toothless are. Toothless was turned into a horny mess!! And light fury, is just a pleasure tool!! I hate it! Toothless used to be a interesting character with a personality. We don't see any real bonding between toothless and the light fury either! Light fury only has 15 minutes of screen time.
I'm so tired of this movie.
I'll maybe make a part two if that's whats wanted, but anyway, I'm Dotty, and please help me I'm suffering.

i hate on The Hidden World more than anyone i know, but i have to be honest. I don’t hate it as much as I let on.
Now that certainly doesn’t mean I like it, because I don’t. But I’ll still rewatch it whenever I rewatch the rest of httyd.
There are bits of the movie that I like, and even bits that I love. The most obvious of those things is the score. Once again, John Powell really popped off with this one. Had it not been for the score I probably would like this movie even less.
I also really like the armor, I think it’s super cool, along with their outfits. Granted, they’re not as strong as the first two movies, but they’re not awful.
Another thing I like about this movie is the humor. Hiccup’s retained most of his dry humor from before, and about 85% of the movie’s jokes make me at least chuckle. I know some people thought Tuffnut’s whole “beard” thing was stupid, but I thought it was funny and very in character.
Had this been a stand alone movie as apposed to the end of a trilogy I’m sure I’d have absolutely no issues with it.
However, unfortunately, the issues outweigh the things I liked and that’s just ruined the movie for me.
Like I said before, about 85% of the jokes did in fact land with me, but there were some that I just couldn’t even smile at. Like first off, the “Who died and made you cheif?”… That. That line single handedly destroyed my view of this movie. It is one of the most out of character things I’ve ever seen. Snotlout, the man who cried when his cheif and best friend’s father died, who retrieved the arrows for his funeral, who has had some of the most character growth through this entire franchise, would not have said that. In fact Snotlout himself is really out of character this entire movie. They took his “bully”ness from the first movie and said “mmm we need more”, saying stuff like “when Hiccup blows it as cheif-“ yada yada, as well as his weird obsession with Valka, Hiccup’s mother. In the books, Snotlout and Hiccup are cousins, and while I personally don’t headcanon that for the movie verse, there are still plenty of people that do. Another joke that just didn’t land with me was the entire scene of Toothless and the Light Fury flirting in the cove. Toothless turned into a literally puppy in this movie, and i don’t mean that in a good way. And the Light Fury? She’s just mean to him. She is! For no reason! She has a reason to dislike humans, but other dragons. Especially one she’s trying to lead on.
And the sheer amount of continuity errors is unforgivable. You cannot ride a two headed dragon with only one rider so they shouldve known Ruff was gone. etc etc. There are more but that’s a tangent for another day.
Aside from bad jokes, ooc characters, and the light fury in general, the other thing that really bugs me is the hidden world in general. Like it makes no sense. It’s just Great Value Pandora and it was an easy way for the writers to get rid of the dragons. I’ll probably get into my absolute hatred for the hidden world (the place, not the movie) another time, but just know that it has 0 redeeming qualities in my eyes.

What's one of your favorite childhood memories?
Hello, friend, good to see you, even if you do hide in the shadows. Hope you are well. <3
Let me tell you about a time I fell in love with storytelling all over again. I grew up on stories; I loved having my dad read to me when I was little (we read Narnia books, the Hobbit, the Lord of the Rings, Robin Hood, etc. I loved *all* of it). I loved the stories of found families and tight friendships like it was my bread and butter because I hadn't made any friends I could get closed to bc family moved around a lot (a decision I don't resent my family for now, but despised as a kid), and I wasn't really *that* close to my family either due to probably a variety of factors, not excluding mental health issues. I won't delve for the sake of length, you get the point. I was a sad and lonely child and my closest friends were imaginary. Anyway back to more concrete events:
We had just moved from Florida to Virginia, which is about 1000 miles away and over 13 hour drive (for context), and we had just started a new co-op (think like homeschool school, but it only met like once a week, it was one of the ways we'd start building up a new social circle or something). And one of the classes I took in was something music (more likely theater? related but that might have a different semester) and the first week of this co-op I remember they gave us a bingo card with a bunch of famous movie soundtracks and they told us we were going to identify the movie based on the song alone.
I got 2/20 or something bc I hadn't even heard of most of these movies bc i just hadn't been exposed to it. It was things like Batman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, maybe spongebob- pop culture stuff that I just hadn't seen. So everyone else was getting excited and I was feeling more and more out of the loop and alone.
I swear this turns happy at the end, bear with me, anon. They play the final music track and I don't recognize it at all but it fills me with such great joy and a call for a new adventure that I hadn't even realized music could do that before (we didn't listen to a lot of our own music growing up, it was mainly whatever my parents found appropriate or what my dad liked).
It was How To Train Your Dragon. Test Drive. John Powell. And then like the musical scores, they showed the scene it was from. A boy and his dragon racing, flying through the air. And I fell in love With the characters arcs per se, but I could tell there was a deep lore there and a story of friendship that I craved so much. It was also right up my alley with stories my Dad had read me so there was also that. But like the music was fantastic, I really liked the visuals at the time (i usually hate most 3D animation films, HTTYD is the exception), and I craved the story behind it.
I saved up money from Birthday and Christmas and ended up buying it. And I watched it. And I fell in love even harder. Cause, in some sense, I related to hiccup too much. I was a creative person, like he was, I had very little friends like he did at the beginning, we had similar senses of humor at some points, and he was fascinated with knowing and learning things. And he had a big dragon friend and i again craved that friendship deeply. So he added to the crew of imaginary friends and I went on many imaginary adventures with Hiccup and Toothless and told myself so many stories that I wish I could remember now for writing inspo.
I ended up moving from Virginia to middle of nowhere Midwest US (not saying where in case the Fey Find Out), and I did end up meeting my IRL Toothless. A little bit scary on the outside at firsts, but with an actual heart of a silly, goofy, dragon. (brb, im getting emotional just thinking about it. It'd be about 7 years now? Coming up? I may be bad at math. I feel old and happy and content.)
So yeh, in short it was a very much right place, right time kind of story and film. I still watch it a lot whenever I need a comfort film that's not as long as LOTR or something. I love the soundtrack and all of the things about it. Sorry, this was probably way longer than it should've been but IDK how to describe my love for this story without giving you some context.

3 5 7 and 8 for the httyd ask game 👀
>:}
3: Did you play School of Dragon? If so, what dragon(s) did you have?
Sadly, I did not get to play SoD. I wanted to but every time I tried making an account, I could never load the game. Probably a mixture of bad internet connection and a PoS mobile device, but still.
5: What type of dragon do you think best matches your personality?
Terrible Terror or Night Terror, maybe a Smothering Smokebreath. I'm a goblin menace that will snatch food and trinkets but if you feed me and treat me nice I'll curl up beside you and purr. I've also a tendency to get a little more than confused and I will naturally find myself in trouble with the bigger ones around me.
I also work best with a pack of my own kind >:]
8: Who are your favourite characters? Why?
Viggo Grimborn is top httyd favorite. He's savvy, malicious, and charming to the point where I want to simultaneously give him all of my possessions and devotion and punch him repeatedly in the face.
Second favorite, Snotlout, actually. He's got self esteem issues and the man can sew. He's a dumbass but his heart's usually in the right place. He also wrote a book, sang songs to a baby Deathsong, and has a crack sense of humor, even if it's not fitting for the moment. He also has a very poor relationship with his father (myself to my mother) that, if taken in a serious direction instead of the lighthearted one in the shows, would've been a serious issue psa about mental issues and the problems of a bad parent.
Third, Tuffnut. He's just goober and I live for that.
7: Do you have any OCs? If so, talk about their appearance, backstories, and personalities.
You made a serious mistake. I have quite a few OCs for HTTYD alone.
First and Foremost, I'll introduce my namesake, Amyra Fierceblade.
Amyra Fierceblade has been my httyd sona for a long time, my second oldest httyd oc in fact. She and Shadowstrike (who I'll talk about in a minute) were my first two httyd ocs. She is 6'1" (myself standing at a lofty 5'3") and has dark raven hair with deep green eyes. She's snarky, quick witted and rather obsessive with anyone she considers her friend... in a not so good way. She has always had connections with Viggo Grimborn (ofc, my favorite character), and in fact was written as a (very poorly thought out) chief daughter who had a mutual crush on Viggo. Over time, I changed her and her story around so that she went from concerned housewife to rebellious heir and eventually I settled on making her an orphan rascal who stays in the woods, her relation with Viggo going from wife to close friend. They met as teens, Amyra a year older than Viggo, when she threw Ryker into a snowbank because she didn't like his attitude. There's a lot more to this that I'm writing out in my Fanfic Lifeline, but for now I'll just go into further detail lol. Over time Viggo and her grew close, close enough that Viggo ran away to try living in the woods with her, though that didn't last long as Amyra got yoinked by a Razorwhip. She survived, but lived for many years away from most other people, only interacting with them as a sort of "highway" bandit. She does have a dragon, a Deadly Nadder named Shadowstrike, who saved her life from the razorwhip and stayed with her since.
Amyra is ab 37 years old during the events of RttE.
Amyra started as a kind of self insert, though she's changed a lot and now she's just a fun character with a lot of bad traits. Such as possessiveness. In a bad way. That might get explained later though, far far far in LifeLine.
Shadowstrike is a Deadly Nadder and my first httyd OC. She is black and red, a few scars on her but not many. Originally, she could talk, but I've kinda devolved that to be more annoying parroting than conversationalist. She likes hair, dragon root arrows, and stealing various objects from anyone and anything. The softer or the shinier, the better.
Kindorobo is a Speed Stinger oc of mine, orange and green with black stripes. I don't have much about him but he likes to terrorize a local village for gold trinkets and stuff, adorning himself with them. He's a weird fella lol.
Arcane is a Titanwing Bewilderbeast oc, black with red and orange markings. He's chill for the most part, and really doesn't mind other Bewilderbeasts in his presence as long as they don't harass him or his group of dragons. However if he is harassed and there's no stopping this dragon, he will kick some ass. He's had no human encounters so far, since he lives further north than the archipelago, almost to the arctic circle.
Dead Chance is a Light Fury Deathsong hybrid that absolutely hates anything and will kill on sight. There's a lot more to it than just murder happy, she actually has a lot of anxiety and paranoia and found the best way of keeping herself "safe" (it's really not-) is by attacking first, asking questions never. I also wanna work on her a bit but I don't really get the time to.
Clairvoyance is another Bewilderbeast OC, she's much smaller though and has a human companion. She's actually been with several human ocs but I finally decided to add her with Lyra, who I'll talk ab in a minute. Clair doesn't quite have the alpha ability, though she is protective of her human and the night terrors (I'll explain in a minute) she lives with.
Lyra is a teen kid who got adopted by a flock of Night Terrors when she was about five. She also found and helped take care of Clairvoyance. I do not have much more information than that, sadly, but maybe I'll fix that.
Biter is a White Night Terror that's missing a hind leg and is also partially blind. He was mistreated by Dragon Hunters and so he a horrible attitude to anything around him. In a couple of my post-rtte Viggo AUs, he's a companion animal of sorts, sticking with Viggo after he saved him. Of course, that doesn't save Viggo from getting bit by him, hence the name.
Truth is a White (and I say white instead of albino because he's not albino but he is white colored) Night Fury with black markings that stays to himself for the most part. He's also anxious, and tends to flee rather than face conflict. I also need to work on him as well-
Marcus Seinneadair is a prince from a smaller kingdom, mostly agricultural in trade. He's the middle child of three, his father being a decent ruler in most aspects. He's got blue eyes, dark brown hair and he also wears a couple earrings in his left ear. He likes to help people, often going out of his way to help the villages after storms and such, finding survivors, repairing houses and ships and more. He isn't really interested in being an heir to a throne so much as he wants to bring a betterness to the world around him. He also has a severe crush on Viggo Grimborn, who is actually a close friend of his and ally to his father's kingdom. Marcus is also one of the few people that Viggo will let his guard down around. He's also the only Christian oc I have or ever will have and I can tell you that he's (THANKFULLY) not oppressive about it. He learned of the religion from a trader and decided that it wasn't actually that bad of an idea, promoting kindness and treating others with how he'd want to be treated. He isn't sure about the whole "do good and you'll go to heaven!" idea, but he doesn't mind doing good for others just because. There's SOOO much more to this guy but yeah, that's some of it.
Mikael is an OC who I don't like. He's a dragon hunter, but not affiliated with the Grimborns or the Northern Alliance. He has an unrequited crush on Marcus (turned bitter after he rejected him) and spends most his time pouting while hunting. I don't have much more for him.
Alsor, Whose Grim Wrath was Born by Flames is the very very very very distant ancestor of the Grimborns, and also the first human to start the Dragon Hunters. He was given the title by his fighting skills against the dragons (explained in a hot minute below).
And finally, a couple of ocs that I like throwing into the HTTYD world but are perfectly capable of being in their own story. These guys do have magic (lore related, would LOVE to explain) and there are mentions of injuries for Phantom's part.
Teeth Whom Gnash Sharply Upon Her Foes, or Gnash, is a Windripper oc of mine, and the first one. Windrippers are my fanspecies of dragon, which I'd GLADLY go into detail (I have a whole Google document including everything from society and religion[orginal!] to dragon growth and such on-). Gnash is a medium to dark grey dragon with a slightly off-white mane, golden horns and dark green eyes. She is stoic but kind, a warrior of honor. She prefers to be logical, though she is very capable of brute strength if she decides. She was Phantom's partner and her general against fighting humans, that is, until Gnash realised the reason for the fighting was wrong and unethical, and wanted to try to stop it (That is a whole ass explanation). She eventually helped the people fighting Phantom to entrap her, keeping her and the world safe from her actions. Gnash mourns her partner, but she does not want to free a conqueror.
And Finally.
Phantom of the Moonlit Mists, or Phantom, is another WindRipper, with dark, semi transparent scales, green horns and claws, and multicolored eyes (Pink and blue irises, black scleras and white pupils). She is cunning and quick witted, in tune with both her emotions and her logic. She hatched prematurely after her egg was damaged by a human trying to kill her and her siblings, born with a permanent jaw deformation/scarring. She was raised alone by her mother, before being sent with others in her Hive (a pack of WindRippers is called a Hive). She was small, and had a temper to rival a Changewing, which lead to her getting in a lot of fights with other members, except for one. A young Gnash, who was her first and only friend. After several years, Phantom was exiled from her Hive, and eventually she was chased down off a cliff, left to die from her injuries. She was saved by a deity the Windrippers have, the All-Mother respectively, and given the ability to create and weave threads (their form of magic). Phantom and Gnash met up again, and talked about the experience. Eventually, Phantom returned to her old Hive and defeated the previous Queen, taking her place. She still had a fierce grudge against humanity, enough to where she decided to wage an all out war on them for many years, until she was lured into a trap and imprisoned in a statue by Alsor(up above) and Gnash until she can either be redeemed for her actions, or until the blood of the last descendant of Alsor's line is spilled on the stone of her prison itself.
And yes, Phantom has a serious grudge on the Grimborns, to the point where, if she was freed, she would be sadistic towards Viggo in any and all ways possible.
Phantom also has a voice claim! That being GLaDOS, especially from Portal 2 lines (not PotatOS, but just the regular)

If this is a safe space...How to train your dragon(Both the books AND the movies) >>>> Wings of fire(yes including all three arcs)
While WOF's first arc still remains to be the best(And take this with a grain of salt bc arc 1 sti has some issues) it's still quite 'mid' on its own imo in terms of worldbuilding(barely showing us any environments in the war or having any combatants participating in it as central characters) also the designs of Wof were always founded in such a weird way(being called "tribes" and shit) also, the humor and dialogue(even when I loved the series) always felt way too meta and human-like to me, especially near the end with the Scorpion just being a normal criminal city instead of anywhere legitimately dangerous in the animal world.
HTTYD, though? In the movies and books Dragons are very much meant to be real animals, all the while still being intelligent. In the books dragons were intelligent enough to speak, BUT were still very much animals in terms of design and execution. Also, the designs in the movies in general just have so much variety and creativity in a way WOF could never(a dragon doesn't have to be related to an entirely different subspecies just to have a Slightly Different Appearance from others of it's kind, like Sunny). I know WoF only had 7 main kinds to work with, BUT still! You have all this variation(Sun-themed, Moon-themed, possibly Star themed if Tui was brave enough to just make the shit two distinct species, Ocean-themed, Earth-themed, Sky-themed)and you still messed it up(also imo Icewings and Rainwings should've never been a main dragon tribe bc YOU ALREADY HAAAVE AN AQUATIC TRIBE TO FOCUS ON but okay Tui)
youre exactly right, WOF has the same problem that MLP does, in that it's a fantasy world of non-human, quadrupedal magical creatures and yet all the architecture around them looks exactly like anything made and used by humans. drives me nuts! i havent read the HTTYD books, but the movies have such lovely and believable worldbuilding, and i know the designs are (mostly?) based off the books, which are fantastic

How can anyone not like the HTTYD series, and I'm not just talking about the books. Though I am excluding The Nine Realms because I want it to burn
But, like, the movies and other shows have a dry humor that TNR tries to emulate so much unsuccessfully (along with jamming nostalgia down your throat) that I fucking love like Ruff and Tuff being appalled at the prospect of reading to Snotlout fucking telling Hiccup to come back and threatening to take his other leg if he doesn't

Mafia!Fishlegs headcanons
Notice: the mafia life should not be romanticized. This is an au for fun . Please don't join the mafia or date someone in it. You'll get shot
Tumblr media

Usually up working and hacking into databases for his friends so they don't get caught
Survives off of coffee
Invents new weapons in his lab
Yes , he has a lab
Science guy ( watch out bill)
Has a full library in his mansion
As well as a Meatlug statue he made himself
Artistic boy

He has his own garden in his backyard that he tends to , along with a sauna and a pool
The team's medic
Always patching up wounds one way or another
Least hostile of the group, but he will kill you if needed or instructed to. Just not painfully
He doesn't like mess , he makes things quick and painless
Excellent hacker , will ruin someone's life if killing isn't an option
Gets along with Hiccup better than the rest, he tolerates him more than anyone.
Has a book on everything
Survival? Got a book on it. Need help with your heist? I'll find something. Can't clean this specific mess? The page is in here somewhere. Need a recipe for mud pies? That's weird....but ill see what I can do
Always has a flower on his suit
Anyone who removes it gets a broken arm
Weird sense of humor
Comes off as rude to people , but he's really not. Fishlegs is one of the nicest of the gang to come across. He's just bad at human interaction and doesn't feel like talking to people most of the time , and blunt.
Hates Snotlout with a passion
Tolerates him just for business sake
Had a thing with Heather once. They're still good friends , though its awkward with them
Likes candy and fruit
Workaholic , never leaves his lab and when he does. He looks like he just zoned out of reality
The gang try to get him out more

Thuggory, about Hiccup: When first I saw him, I debated whether he was a human, a sorry piece of soggy driftwood, or a scraggly husk of wind-dried haddock.

if ur willing to get rlly invested into a book and have the ending let u down bigtime (<- understatement. i live in denial of the ending & twist but overall it was really well written and for the most part enjoyable) id recommend the betrayals. if u like dragons id reccomend httyd books (they start off kinda slow and more for younger kids so can be a bit hard to get into but overall very well written and the ending is well worht it. be warned though! nothing like the movies) or the natural history of dragons (which i personally rlly enjoyed. its a fictional memoir). If you havent read it, the six of crows duology is on my top 10 books (specifically the second book but the first is still amazing as well. humorous and amazingly written love 100% of the main protagonists.) the scythe series another good series although im not realky sure how to describe it. time traveling with a hamster is another one, i read it a long time ago so i dont remember much but iirc it had a good concept and writing. Good luck on your reading ventures!! (apologies bc i am just now realizing that almost all of these are fantasy but ill send the ask anyways just in case u decide to check one of them out)
thank you!! i remember i heard a lot of good things about six of crows so i could try it :o

☀️, 🌌 and 😭 for Odette and Kaari, please?
Sun - Are they a morning person and what is the first thing they do?
Odette could go either way. I think she enjoys the morning and the sunrise but yet loves to sleep in late on weekends or whenever she doesn't have school or responsibilities. The first thing she would do in the morning, if she didn't have responsibilities would be to read a book with some tea in the garden.
As for Kaari, definitely 100% he's an obnoxious morning person. He's used to getting up at the crack of dawn or earlier to see the sun rise and help his mom in the garden or go out hunting. He also works with the trading company as a teen so sometimes he will be up all night sailing the ship and can watch the sunrise. As an adult, he's gotta get up early to head to Fossan and feed his dragons and clean.
Crying - Do they cry and what makes them cry?
Odette can cry easy, tho she tries to hide it as she is the oldest sister and its her job to make sure her sisters are happy first. She mainly cries over how shes expected to marry rich and a pureblood and not for love. There's someone shes loved since she was young and she is working up the courage to defy her parents as he is a muggle.
Kaari is pretty tough and uses humor to cover any feelings but he is secretly soft and lets his guard down in rare moments. For him to outwardly cry, someone of his family or close friend would have to die. (His sister Annika perhaps...)
Galaxy - What was your inspiration for them?
Odette's inspiration was a combination of some pretty dress pins i found, the concept of beauty and the beast (specifically Belle from the movie's aesthetic), and i thought a vineyard in france would be such a cool aesthetic. Also i already knew she was going to be an ancestor to Devon Marlowe.
Kaari was a while ago now but from what i can remember, the Arcanos are heavily Skyrim inspired so i was like "I have to bring dragons into this somehow... what if there was a dragon rider". If you couldn't tell, Kaari and Ryoko are heavily inspired by HTTYD lmfao.

i’ve already been very annoyed at the state of netflix’s subtitles - i once watched how to train your dragon in swedish with swedish subtitles and the dub didn’t match with them at all - but when i’m watching a swedish show spoken in swedish and there are NO SWEDISH SUBTITLES AT ALL it’s kind of starting to piss me off. there’s options of german and arabic and finnish and two types of english subtitles but no swedish. i’m not saying those other language options shouldn’t be here, leaving swedish out just makes absolutely no sense (swedish literally is one of the two official languages of finland and once again the show itself is in swedish) and also i’m trying to learn this language and the subtitles would be a lot of help
