i love the fact that no matter what, the strawhats have never seen a broken luffy. it’s like, he’s seen them all at their absolute worsts and freed them from whatever shackles was holding them back, but they’ve never seen him at his. it’s so upsetting yet admirable because as a captain, luffy’s meant to be the crew’s pillar and somebody they can rely on, and yet when it’s his turn (i.e. the world summit saga), he’s gotta deal with it on his own. they see and hear the tragedy of ace’s death and yet never got to actually sit and actually talk it out with him. or see how it affected luffy as his brother. they view him as somebody so emotionally strong and reliable that it’s just sooo…tragic ://

I hope you guys understand that when I draw bowuigi, Luigi is still oh so ready to sob on the spot, he is so awkward and maybe even uncomfortable. But he sees that bowser is being polite enough and Luigi just starts shaking on the spot. And bowser is no better, he’s so stupid he looks at this green guy and starts to sweat. He’s not afraid but this guy is actually making an effort of being nice and bowser doesn’t know how to do it back. So they’re stuck in a weird spiral where they appreciate and also dread each other
