this is a very stupid question, but is there a way to somehow repurpose fancy underwear? I have a whole bag of things I shoplifted long ago, but won't wear now since lingerie is satanic, made of plastic, very harmful & a tool of patriarchy and now i’m a cotton male briefs truther. I no longer have any toxic female friendships where there is no clear distinction between me and her and we can just borrow each others underwear so i can't even give it to such person. and my hoarding tendencies make me unable to throw away anything that isn't falling apart. so far the only thing I came up with is to use them (after cutting into small pieces) as stuffing in dolls i (will have to) make.

So I posted something because of Loverwatch when it first happened and I told myself I was not going to get invested in another ship between my own characters but. Here we are again.

The thought occurred to me that Genji is difficult to snuggle without getting pinched or imprints from the cybernetics and then just the general weight being heavier than a normal person.

Which he knows. So I suspect he would have been hesitant at first, but Abby insisted there is no engineering issue that doesn't have a solution and the same applies here. So they figured out some ways to make it work, usually by sleeping side by side and using pillows and a thick comforter to help cushion.

I have no excuse for this except a lack of self-control and that I like to see Genji happy because he deserves to be. That is all. 😂 [ And also I still blame Loverwatch, hence the relationship tag. ]

Obviously you can tell by the "18 Likes" there were at least 19 people outing themselves as haters. 😔

Let's be clear: if you're twiggered 👉👈 by seeing Tom Riddle bottom, block me and move on

Not because I'm out here publishing smut left and right (I'm not even a smut writer), but because there is absolutely no way you could possibly enjoy my content if you're a fixed shipper.

Is it about who tops and who bottoms? I don't know. Really, at least half of the time, I prefer top!Tom. My enjoyment of a fic is not contingent on whether one character or the other gets dicked down. Of my top favorite fanfics that I can think of offhand, Tom doesn't even bottom in any of them.

That said—I am drawn to stories where Tom Riddle is in a central role, and nobody fixated on bottom!Harry could ever possibly deliver. So yeah please go ahead and block me. ಠ_ಠ

Also, the accusation that I "want engagement" is goofy

If I was driven by engagement, the fic would be straightforwardly on the Top Tom tag, feature a lot of smut, and probably have twice as many hits.

I don't write for engagement; of the 6 fics I have published, 2 are rated G and only half of them even have ship tags at all.

And regarding Lover's Spit specifically, it would absolutely spoil the story if I went on Tumblr rambling about how they're going to fuck. I have more respect for the lovely people who read the story as it is than random potential readers who feel they cannot engage with a story on the off chance their t/b preferences aren't met after 150K of non-smut content.

Yes, fixed shipping preferences can be sexist and homophobic

If your preferences are informed by your belief that Tom Riddle is "too powerful" to ever bottom (!!!) and "submit" to Harry, you're embarrassing and regressive.

You're tacitly admitting that women—that people without penises—are fixed in a state of submission; and you're also insinuating the same of gay men who prefer to bottom.

Sex is a lot of things - not just a power exchange. Sex, as I see it, is about intimacy, vulnerability, and expressing love. That is how I write it, and why I do not want to share "spoilers" about how sex will play out in my fic.

Ultimately this slander is just the product of entitlement

Though Lover's Spit has a lovely, inspiring, and engaged bevy of readers, it is by no means a popular fic. It's a wee little niche fic.

I can see no reason why someone would bother publicly slandering me except that they're just deeply entitled and butt-hurt that I'm not complying to their whims, even though I am a teensy weensy small-time fic writer with no following whatsoever. It's so batshit.

If fixed shipping matters to you, block writers who don't tag. Simple as that.

I truly started off just trying to practice sketching with the aid of an art book. (Why I decided on a side-face, I have no idea.) It wasn't until I was done that I decided it kinda looked like Maedhros (the gaze), so I slapped on red hair. I guess my first Tolkien fanart is a Silm subject!

There are a thousand things wrong with this, but I'm telling myself it's not terrible for a first run and very little practice. (I have NOT been practicing like I said I would. Shame.) I hope I have enough patience to keep practicing, and (1,000 sketches later??) I believe I can get better! Besides, I forgot how fun drawing can be!

Btw, A.I. can't make those ugly pencil/erasure marks. XD So you know this is at least legit.

But also: I'm all for reblogging, but please don't feel obligated to reblog my practice art, guys. Seriously. We don't have to foist amateur hour on people's dashes. Save that for the real art. Seriously. Hopefully someday maybe I'll make reblog-worthy stuff.

no cus i totally understand your frustration, ive also quit splatfests for the moment until they get an overhaul

i suggest if you feel close to getting hateful to either shiver or shiver fans then maybe quit for a while for your own sake cus ive felt a lot better after doing so, im still really sensitive to negative comments towards frye or rude ones about shiver winning but taking some time for myself has made me feel infinitely better

ive been close to hating shiver before bc of how cocky and rude them and their fans can be but it doesnt really do anything but sour your enjoyment of the game more, so its really not worth it

i do have to say though, anyone who says "its just a game" reaaally needs to understand the frustration of people OTHER than them, sympathy is something a lot of people forget about when it comes to things that arent real life. just because it doesnt affect you doesnt mean everyone can shut off their attachment to the game or a character like a light switch; a lot of the time you dont know whats going on with them. i myself am really attached to frye cus i am hashtag autism creature and he brings me comfort, so anyone being rude to me about shiver winning really REALLY gets under my skin. its not entirely (if they were serious, if they werent then its not at all) their fault, but nintendo fixing the frustration of splatfests constantly keeling in one direction (which theyre supposed to do anyways but they havent) would definitely fix the issue. we need to find a way to have nintendo fix this, not attack anyone else for what bundle of pixels and text theyre attached to.

not everyone has really thick skin and if we want splatoon 3 to be more hospitable then we should try to cut down on the general splatfest bullassery in public spaces (being overly cocky and rude/blaming others in a way with no basis or truth behind it). its not something everyone can always do since we arent all perfect, but if we make steps in that direction then we could help more people enjoy the splatoon community rather than being eaten up by toxicity and spite

3. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

Lost In Translation (7,256 kudos) An Overwatch fic. I was baffled when it did as well as it did while I was actively posting it and frankly I'm not sure how to deal with the fact that it's still head and shoulders above every other fic I've written. I think it must be from people sorting by kudos and creating a weird positive feedback loop.

How To Torment Cats (And Witchers) (2,124 kudoes) A very light-hearted Witcher one-shot with Ciri and Dandelion

Standard-Issue (1,143 kudos) Another Overwatch fic, this one about McCree's recruitment into Overwatch

Sunlight and Sea Foam (1,102 kudos) A Witcher mermaid!au. This one I'm still pretty pleased with, it was a lot of fun to write.

Mark My Place (952 kudos) A post-canon MDZS fic in which I get to lavish love on Wei Wuxian! A pretty impressive kudo count given that it's only a few months old

4. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Generally I try to! I really appreciate getting comments and I want to let people know that <3 Fandom is the most fun when it's a community and the only way to get that is to actually connect with people. Also I personally appreciate it when an author responds to comments when a new chapter drops because it helps me keep track of fic updates, so I often do that too for on-going stories :3

5. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

I don't really go in for anything without a happy ending ^^;; Maybe In My Hands I Held The World purely because I didn't finish it and stopped writing in the middle of the all the hurt and never made it to the comfort? Or Promises Misconstrued just by virtue of it.... well, being what it is.

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

We only believe in happy endings here!! I really couldn't narrow it down, I like a happy ending... The Celestial Shell Game was a pretty recent one MDZS fic that was just pure post-canon fix-it and reconciliation and lightly bullying the juniors

7. Do you write crossovers?

I do from time to time, but most aren't ever cleaned up or completed to the point of posting -- they're just Fun For Me fics.

My only completed crossover is a Torchwood/MASH fic called An Officer's Guide to Surgery, Shelling & Pterosaurs. It was honestly just a wild ride to write. Very proud of how that one turned out

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?

A bit, but not for years. The only one I specifically remember was someone who was very unhappy that I wasn't including individual chapter content warnings, I guess because they've never read a novel?

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Not often, I am Very Ace, but it does happen occasionally. Bound and Held was my most recent one, which was really just 20k of pure kink exploration because Geralt and Dandelion just have the vibe

One! An old Les Mis fic got translated into Chinese years back :3 that was very flattering that someone would want to go to that amount of effort

Me and @meso-mijali will co-write stuff from time to time, but nothing that's ever made it to completion. I do use her relentlessly to help me solve plot dilemmas (or make new plot dilemmas, depending on how things are going)

13. What’s your all-time favorite ship?

Could not tell you, 100% depends on sort of mood I'm in sorry xD I bounce all over the place. At the moment I am deeply into wangxian, to the surprise of no one following me on tumblr at the moment

14. What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

Well, any of my three current fics I'd love to make some progress on >:/ but I'm still hopeful about getting them finished, albeit slowly and painfully. I have a Hogan's Heroes dating sim that me and @meso-mijali have been working on but the longer it goes undone the more I suspect it never will be *sigh* it took so much planning but it's hard to pick up again in the middle. I also had a Lupin soulmate au called Mosiac that I feel bad about dropping. I still quite like the concept but I'm stuck on where to go next with it...

15. What are your writing strengths?

Uhh... I dunno, there must be something because people seem to enjoy my work well enough but I'll be damned if I know what it is. I think I write high intensity, sensory-based scenes pretty well? At least I like doing them a lot. And I get complimented on my character voices sometimes, so hopefully that!

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

Pacing >:/ I will ramble and ramble and ramble and then need to go back and cull things until I have a fic that's even halfway readable. It's so hard to get good pacing down.

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

Big fan, I'm always here for a bilingual bonus. Either I understand it and get a little thrill out of it or else I just google translate it real quick. As for me writing it I generally don't because I don't want to fuck it up beyond reason... sometimes I might dabble with French if it's character appropriate.

18. What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Les Mis! I'm too terrified to reread anything from my Les Mis era because god only knows what my writing was like back then, but it was such a warm and welcoming fandom it's what finally gave me the nerve to starting engaging in fandom space as more than observer

19. What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to?

...I'm not sure I have one, if I want to write about something I generally do, even if I don't get it to be "publishing" worthy... Maybe Hogan/Kinch? I really like that ship, but I've never written much Hogan's Heroes fic to begin with, I think I only have one published work, and I find it a hard one to write shippy things for

20. What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?

Huh... I'm not sure. There a number of fics I've written that I still really really like and will reread (the author's amazing! she knows exactly what I like!) I'm really proud of my Torchwood/MASH crossover, it's my longest fic and took the highest level of technical skill to write. I also tend to reread A Poet Under Pressure fairly often because I do love tormenting Dandelion u.u

Since now I have the brainrot for Alicia and Alejandro as a couple, another snippet arrived today! I wondered where they were tbh.

Corporal Alicia Marchant was looking at the city where she was sent once again, for an excercise, and this time no one could take the smile on her face. As she and the other soldiers arrived to the base, the first thing that called her attention was him. Corporal Alejandro Vargas was awaiting with the rest, but he also was smiling widely, locking his eyes with hers.

They had to keep it professional during the excercise, but one way or another they found a way to touch slightly each other, as everything went forward. And when everything ended, they both stayed behind from the rest as they went to the nearest bar. Once they were outside the base and on civilian clothes, Alicia almost tackled Alejandro in a hug, to which he laugh and raised her by the waist before leaving her back on the floor.

"I'm so happy to see you, Alejo!" she said with a enormous smile "you don't even imagine how much I missed you"

"I missed you too, hermosa" he answered with a lovesick smile "now everything is brighter with you here"

"You still as sweet as always, huh?"

"Well, of course! How could it be different?"

"Aww, Alejo..."

"Anyway, let's go and eat something"

"But the others are waiting for us"

"Meh, who cares? Those morons will say bullshit and maybe we'll need to stop a fight anyway" he said with a side smile "do you really to pass like that your night?"

"I guess not"

"See? Vamos!"

Alejandro took her hand and they started to run down the street, laughing as he guided her through the city. When they stopped in front of a beautiful restaurant, he stole a kiss as she giggled, and then their date started. The night went by between small talk, promises and hidden smiles.

"I wish this could last forever" Alicia murmured as they walked back to the base

"Me too, but for now. What if we make this the best time of our lifes?" he said taking her hand again

"Isn't it already? How it could be better?"

"Hmm, maybe you're right. Then let's enjoy it as we can!"

"Gladly"

haha, i'm glad to infect another person! xD now, i admit that it's been years since i read susan kay's phantom book, which is the version that does the most exploring of erik and nadir's relationship (nadir being the man referred to as 'the persian' and 'the daroga' in leroux's book), so i'm sure there's a LOT i've forgotten or that i may be misremembering.

but i think it's really interesting, as nadir is literally erik's only real friend, the only person who truly knows him and has known him for actual decades. nadir saw erik at, arguably, his worst in mazandaran, when his entire job was to creatively kill people, but he also saw erik's compassion and humanity in how erik loved nadir's son and helped to ease his passing when he was terminally ill.

then, when nadir's wife has died, he moves from persia to paris just to install himself as erik's conscience, to bitch at him about his bad choices and try to badger him into making better choices... which sounds something like a marriage to me, lmao.

i can't remember whether nadir ever saw erik without his mask - i want to say yes, but i can't recall - but he's certainly the last person alive who knows the most of erik's dark past, who's seen the worst of him, and he still cares. maybe erik is the only real friend he has too, the only person left who understands him after he lost his family.

don't get me wrong, i like erik and christine and the sweeping gothic romance of it, but i also like the idea of, in the aftermath of christine leaving, erik picking up the pieces with nadir's help and realizing that this person has been there all along, this person who sees him and genuinely cares for him. and maybe it's not grand opera arias or any other dramatic gestures, but it's real and it's steady and it's good. they're old and exhausted and deeply damaged by life, but they have each other, and personally, i think that's just as romantic.

it also doesn't hurt that i like to headcanon nadir as oded fehr (ardeth bay from the mummy). 😉

Julie sat on the edge of the tub. Watching Saz hunch over the sink. Gore staining the porcelain.

Julie's eye scanned Saz up and down. Eye catching sight of chest hair peaking above the collar of her tattered shirt. Said hair partially slicked by sweat and whatever poor human's blood. Julie assumed it was the same blood drenching Saz's scruff.

A small smile found its way onto Julie's face as she took the sight in.

Saz spat into the sink. Watching the red slowly slink down the drain.

"What?" Saz asked low, annoyance coating the word.

Julie knew how Saz could get post kill. It took a while for that edge to seep away afterward. Julie had picked up on it after getting chewed out by Saz and even Elliot a couple times before. It had caught her off guard before, but it was only to be expected now. It's a quirk that would probably persevere in the bear morpher. Still, the hagfish morpher was often the one to try to ease her out of it. She gripped the edge of the tub.

"Just impressed," Julie stated, feeling the goosebumps rise at the immediate eye contact from the bear morpher.

Saz grunted and tore through the shirt. The poor thing barely more than an excuse at covering Saz's body. Though it was commendable that it had somewhat survived Saz's morphing. Saz briefly looked down at herself in disgust, seeing gore from her chin had run down her chest. She dabbed at it with the fabric before tossing it aside. Lying in a crumpled pile by Julie.

"The way you're staring doesn't give impressed."

Julie looked away, realizing that she had still been watching. She kept her eye busy on a loose tile, listening to the heavy tapping of Saz's foot. She rose to her feet approaching the bear morpher. Saz watched Julie through the mirror now.

"I mean it." Julie rested her head on Saz's shoulder, moving in to suckle a splatter of blood on Saz's neck, "You've really improved."

Julie carefully moved the woman's locs aside. Holding them up as she fished the hair tie off Saz's wrist with her free hand. Teeth unconsciously clamping on the fellow morpher's skin as she cleaned off the blood.

"Fuck." Saz breathed out, watching her in the mirror slack jawed.

"Would you kill for me, Saz?"

Julie's nails dragged through the bear morpher's chest hair. Her fingertips following along a scar Saz had yet to tell her about. Her tongue lapped at the gore slowly trickling down the column of Saz's throat. Saz's eyes remained on her as she turned her gaze away from the mirror.

"Yes," Saz said even, voice rumbling with a pleased growl.

"You sure?" Julie asked, licking her lips.

Julie moved in again, their lips brushing against each other. She looked into Saz's eyes, feeling her heart pound at the certainty in them. Saz looked like she'd eat Julie whole. The hagfish morpher kissed the corner of Saz's mouth, her thoughts only egged on at the taste of the poor human's blood. Grinning red as it stained her lips.

"Yes," Saz repeated.

Julie grinned against Saz's mouth, "Good," she muttered into Saz's mouth feeling muscle in Saz's arm twitch, "You're too good to me."

Julie pressed their lips together, sloppily tying Saz's hair up. Saz groaned into Julie's mouth. A bit of her pride bubbled over at Saz's response. The hair on the back of the bear morpher's neck stood as the other morpher's hand wandered down.

"People taste pretty good like this," Saz admitted knowing Julie might hear her and not really caring.

"The best it'll ever taste." Julie stated, pulling away from the kiss briefly, eagerly reconnecting it.

Soooo... I'm actually one of those people who can't just tell you ONE favourite thing. If you ask me about my favourite movie, I'll shorten the list to ten and will cry because I left something I love outside. Oops, I guess.

And I also really love colour coordination. 🌈

1. Something I absolutely adore.

I don't absolutely adore any of my works ahahahahahahah.

Beside some self-deprecation, I'm still very please with this fanart of Aisling and Dorian looking outside the window.

I know you don't appreciate much Crossovers, Mo and way too many people around, but the chance to put together two things I love... I would never tackle fanfiction if I didn't have something mine to put it (that's why I started writing fic with Dragon Age, which is based on the "Create your own character" basic), so this was my chance at tackling Tolkien lore which I absolutely adore and has been part of my life ever since I was a little bean.

There's also a fic which is basically LOTR... But with Dragon Age Characters (taking advantage of the fact that in the book nothing much is seen of Mordor... I slipped everyone there and I promise it makes more sense x°D)

2. Something that was challenging to create

Everything concerning Raina, which you can now find in this convenient folder I'll fill little by little on AO3.

I... Accidentally tackled too many things that strikes close to home with her, and writing her is basically something similar to a therapy session. The current thing I'm working on is proving difficult.

But I'll say this official portrait of her, just for the fact that I tried a new way of colouring (thanks to @ndostairlyrium forever and ever for the tips and tricks) and everything was new and challenging. The amount of times I cursed myself for putting a background! xD

3. Something that makes you laugh

You see, Mo, I am very unable to choose just one thing. If you ask me what's my favourite movie, I can shorten my list to 10. I'll give you three.

The Bi Cullen series. I should do another one, I just have to finish it, but this is close to my heart. Because bi panic and science bros.

This little exploration in the Mythal Temple, full with very necessary Indiana Jones and Emperor's New Groove quotes.

And last but not least, the one and only Haunting Queen, Doris the Rage Demon who lives in Cullen and Aisling's stove and is deeply in love with Cullen... And also very jealous. It's jealousy, it's not Aisling that doesn't know how to cook.

4. Something that surprised you (in how it turned out, how much other people liked it, etc.)

Ok, for this I have 2:

Home Was Never on the Ground aka the Monster fic. It's my first attempt at fanfiction and the first prose I had written in YEARS. I thought of an anthology of moments missed in game, or expansions of scenes I liked. I am honestly surprised by the amount of hits it got and even if I see flaws, I like my baby.

One for the Road. Aka. Fenris/Lavellan 2 chapter fic. I wrote it as a divertissement, it ended up to be extra angsty... And I sincerely thought I had totally misinterpreted Fenris here. I remember being so nervous when posting it that I actually considered keeping it for myself. And instead, it was received well?

5. Something you want other people to see

On this I'm more sure! (well.)

My little joy is the DadWolf AU which you can find here. Basically, a Modern AU following the events of DA2 and Inquisition... With something changed.

Namely, Solas woke up 30 years before, and he and Varric were roommates. And they co-parent my Inquisitor, Aisling, and Dorian who are actually science bros. It's something that brings me joy in doing, there's nothing written as per yet save some prompts but it will be!

Also one fanart I'm very very attached to is this one which was done in collaboration with @ndostairlyrium (I drew it, she coloured it), and which now guards me from my wall when I work in my studio.

In case you all were still wondering yes, I'm wordy. I know it's a surprise.

WIP Folder Tag Game:

Who Holds the Devil, please.

I actually don't have any snippets that I can post right now, but I can tell you a bit about my process! Because I DO have quite a lot of notes. Though I'm not sure if notes is the right word?

Because it's not like it's an outline or anything (there are some HUGE plot points that aren't even mentioned in that document x'D) but rather a collection of roughly 15k of dialogue and shorter descriptions for future chapters. It's not always the full conversation but rather the bits that popped into my head that I wanted to write down before I forgot them.

Here's an example of a conversation between Ga On and Yo Han, with Ga On speaking first:

"What are your plans for the future?"

"What do you mean?"

"Are you going to live in hiding for the rest of your life? You'd have to if you stay in Korea." "Or will you settle somewhere else?"

"I haven't decided."

"You haven't decided?"

That was unusual for Yo Han.

"No."

"Why not?"

Look.

"You know why."

He did. Or hoped so, at least.

Yo Han was waiting to see if they had a future together.

It looks pretty funny, doesn't it? But it does give the basic structure of the conversation and, surprisingly enough, I rarely change that structure once I've written it down like this. And yes, I can usually pinpoint where I want my pauses in the dialogue even if I don't have the surrounding text, probably because I'm pretty comfortable with my writing style at this point and can predict how I want the tone, sentences, and story to flow.

Obviously, there will be A LOT of descriptions added around all this before I'd consider posting it, but many scenes start like this. Though not always. Like the scene with Jin Joo and Ga On in the car in chapter 34? That one was written entirely without notes. I just started writing and went wherever the conversation wanted to go.

So I can write both with and without a structure if I want to. But, more than anything, I tend to rely on instinct. I rarely hesitate about the dialogue or the direction it's taking. If I get stuck, it's usually on how to phrase myself, not what's going on or what the characters are saying/doing. That tends to flow without issue.

Which is pretty obvious when you compare my unedited drafts to my posted chapters. The changes are usually just cosmetic, never structural or anything in how the characters behave. I tend to nail the plot, flow, emotion, and characterisation on the first try, then it's just a matter of making it pretty xD

193 as of now! Wow that's more than I thought I'd have.

2. What's your total Ao3 word count?

1,537,974! That's about what I expected actually xD

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Well I got dragged into the Danny Phantom fandom recently as I'm sure you all can tell. The show was actually a really big part of my childhood, but this is the first time I've been actively in the fandom, go figure! Of course I'm still in the Sanders Sides fandom, and I'm back once again in the Phineas and Ferb fandom, still chipping away at that long fic I've been working on for a while.

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos? 

These aren't too surprising to me, as they're also my fics with the most hits.

5. You Just Didn't Notice with 349 kudos (dear god please don't go find that one it's from so long ago I can't bear to look at it).

4. Warm with 356 kudos! I think this is the touch starved light sides au I wrote! Yeah I'm still fond of that one

3. By Any Other Name has 365 kudos! Still think fondly of my time writing that one, it was so fun.

2. Consequences with 420 kudos! Honestly I'm a little surprised this one is in my top 5 I guess a lot of people just really liked it.

Protector! Yeah, no surprises here. This one seriously blew up on me, it's got more hits than any other work I've ever posted on AO3. 504 kudos!

5. Do you respond to comments?

Sure do! I make an effort to respond to every single one I get if I can, unless I just cannot for the life of me think of anything to say. And I do read all of them, rest assured that even if all you get is a "Thank you!" that I loved and appreciated your comment, and that I mean those "Thank you"s every time.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Honestly, I'm not sure, most of my fics tend towards happier endings, even if the time before that sucks ass for everyone involved. I could pick any number of one shots from series, but I'm not sure those count as complete stories, since most of one shot series do actually tell a story. Oh you know what, I'm looking through my stuff and it's "Denied Reconciliation" for Roleslaying With Roman. Yeah nothing's getting better in that one.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

This might sound weird for anyone who's read the fic, but in my mind I think it might be Protector? I listen to "Carry On" by Fun whenever I think about the ending for that fic because it fits the vibe so well, and because that's what the ending is about. Everyone is going to move on and live their lives to the fullest. Not everything's going to be sunshine and rainbows, but the characters don't want that anyway. They get to work to fix things and they have a chance for a really good and full and fulfilling life coming for them. What's happier than that?

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Not really, actually, I'm very fortunate in that everyone seems to get that I'm just trying to share stories I love writing for fandoms and characters that I love. Thanks to all my readers, y'all are the best!

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Nope! Not necessarily because I'm completely opposed to the idea, I have technically written a couple makeout fics, but when it comes to smut I feel like I'm too ace to know what I'm doing xD

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

I don't, mostly just cause they don't scratch my brain in the way that inspires writing for me. I've read some really amazing ones and I definietly come up with some in my head from time to time, but I'm not sure I'll ever actually write one.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Thankfully no, or at least not that I know of.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Yep! I'm currently writing and co-posting Defense Mechanisms with VorpalGirl on AO3, and I brainstorm enough with her and with my QPP @mishiitake-mushrooms that I end up putting them in the author's notes with credit quite a bit, and in my mind, that counts!

14. What's your all-time favourite ship?

Honestly I don't ship nearly as much as I used to. This may be a bit of a cop-out answer, but I find myself getting way more invested in sibling dynamics lately. I'm loving writing about Phineas and Ferb and Candace in my long fic, and Danny and Jazz in my new AU. Even in Sanders Sides, I'm tending more towards Roman and Remus lately, and of course brotherly dukexiety will have my heart until the end of everything. If I had to pick one, it would probably honestly be Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice? Kind of an out of left field answer, but I love how much both of them change in the book and I love how their romance is handled. Jane Austen is good at romance, I know, hot take.

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I have a Light Side Virgil AU where Virgil was a light side from the start that I still absolutely love, but I'm not sure I'll finish at this point. I still want to, I've just got so much going on that it's going to be a while if I ever get to it.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Dialogue and plot! Sometimes I write what I jokingly refer to as my "stick two characters in a room together" fics where I do exactly that and just let them talk to each other. It's some of my favorite writing to do, actually. And I absolutely adore getting to plan and figure out plots and watch everything as it comes together as I write. Story epiphanies are the best.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I struggle a bit with action scenes, since character and dialogue are my strong suit writing characters just doing a whole bunch of stuff is difficult (especially if it's a fight scene, woof.)

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I am definitely not strong enough in any languages other than maybe French to pull it off, but I think it's really cool when people do it!

19. First fandom you wrote for?

My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. I was 12 no you can't see them.

20. Favorite fic you've written?

I'm not sure I have one, honestly? I have this thing that happens where I put all of my excitement and energy into whatever fic I'm currently writing xD

I do definitely have a couple that are very close to my heart for various reasons, though. Protector was my first fic that went over 100,000 words, and for that as well as numerous other reasons I'm very proud of it! Hope With Me turned out almost exactly how I pictured it in my head which is, like, crazy to me. I did a shit ton of math I'm really proud of for Three Minutes Less. I did coding for Seeking Advice. I wrote a bit about how I think aplatonicism would work in Friendship is Magic in Same Conclusion, which is the one MLP fic from me you get to see.

I don't know, I don't really want to name a favorite fic I've ever written, that takes away the possibility that I could still write it in the future! And yeah, I get the question is really asking "favorite fic so far," but... I don't know, I like too many of my fics for different reasons. I hope that's not too much of a cop-out answer.
