Amber, like Sofia, is a very hard student. As a future queen, she's aware of her responsibility for the knowledge she acquires.

Amber manages her workload well and organizes her daily routine.

She likes to combine business with pleasure and apply organizational skills to her studies.

Amber strives to be on top in everything. Perhaps even too much.

For Amber, face is as important as knowledge and skills. To be a worthy queen, she must be perfect in everything, even in appearance.

Lately she has noticed that she can’t fit into dresses, she often sweats, and her hair becomes greasy.

This worries Amber, but she doesn’t give up and skillfully hides it all, and also finds information on how to fix such things (for example, a recipe for a magic potion that makes hair silky).

The fact is that this helps only temporarily, and sometimes it's completely pointless. And the flaws in appearance are getting worse and harder to hide.

Amber begins to think that the problem is with her and that she's simply no longer beautiful.

At some point it reached a critical point. During an etiquette lesson where she was supposed to faint, she actually fainted because she began to malnourish.

Sofia noticed that something was wrong with her sister, and they talked about it. Sofia believes that Amber is the most beautiful and kind princess among everyone she knows, and there is no better queen for Enchancia.

But Amber doesn't think that's enough. She's preparing to become the "face" of her kingdom. How will she show the world all the beauty of her homeland if she herself doesn't live up to it?

This question will be answered by the current "face" of Enchancia - Queen Miranda.

She will tell her daughter about the changes that every girl goes through, and will show Amber her hands, roughened by years of manual labor. Unlike natural maturation, their rudeness doesn't transform over time.

But does that make them ugly? Amber believes that her mother's hands are the most beautiful and perfect. And Miranda will hug her with them and say that Amber herself is also beautiful.

But what if the shortcomings never go away and some of them remain? Well, they will be flaws only as long as she considers them as such. Because Amber is actually the only one who sees them.

Roland will show his daughter his scars, which he received as a child due to too dangerous pranks.

Roland will also show porters of previous monarchs, where some of their external features are visible. They are all different, but they have one thing in common - they all took care of their health.

Roland thinks that Enchancia needs a healthy monarch who will reign as long as possible. And most importantly, the family needs a healthy and happy Amber, so it hurts them to see how she doesn't feel sorry for herself.

Appearance info

Hairstyle:

Amber's hairstyle in the original is a good reference to her status. Personally, because of such curls, I have a strong association with the aristocracy, so I wanted to preserve them.

However, I don't like the performance in the series at all (the one on the left), so I played with the shape of the hairstyle until I reached the final one.

I really like the execution of a similar hairstyle on the right, it’s a shame that the curls ended up looking like sausages -_-

Inspired by various art from vintage manga, I decided on a hairstyle. The structure of the hair is very similar to Aurora’s hair and, as planned, her strands also move easily and naturally.

Slow start, Ethan is unknowingly ensnared in a trap. As he realizes the danger Rose (and himself) are in the song becomes tragic and determined. Fastpaced strings, frantic beats —like prey escaping from predator— keeps escalating into something more and more insurmountable. A hopeful jingle is heard as Ethan finds out he can still save his daughter. A heroic theme plays as he overcomes the horrors despite it all (a sense of control over the situation is marked by highpitched anxious flutes superimposed by a deep stable horn). Then comes the first faceoff with Miranda who taunts him and Ethan’s tragic hero theme comes to a grinding halt as his heart gets pulled out of his chest. The drums pick up again and the little soldier is off to his final battle.

Mia: Claude Debussy - Clair De Lune

Sadly the real Mia doesn’t appear much. In the Winters home, Ethan writes that Mia doesn’t want to talk about what they went through in Louisiana, which leaves him with a lot of questions unanswered. In the flashback where she desperately tries reaching out saying ‘𝘺𝘰𝘶 matter’, she still can’t help keeping secrets- maybe out of fear that Ethan wouldn’t let it go (being extremely persistent) and they’d never return to normal. The song is heartbreaking and sad as she struggles coming to terms with the guilt and grief over what she’s done and what the one she loves went through because of it. On a last somber note, her child, who takes after her father both in looks and unresolved powers, is all she has left.

Rose: Saint-Saëns - Le Cygne

A little girl whos only ever known unconditional, all encompassing love. Even before her birth, it was known that her life would be full of uncertainty. Though stolen away for possessing powers she’s not even aware of yet, she continues to live and provide a beacon of hope for her family.

Chris: Richard Wagner - Ride of the Valkyries

Comes in the dead of night and rains hell on the Winters home. In his eyes, he’s doing the right thing, but has made himself the villain to the one he was trying to protect (victorious trumpets superimposed by high fearful strings). The transport gets intercepted by Miranda and the music falls. Once Chris finally explains himself to Ethan they’re allowed a brief bit of victory (steadier horn) as their combined efforts take down Miranda’s last line of defense (Heisenberg). In the end, Chris has to live with the victory of taking down the megamycete, the guilt and grief over Ethan’s death/sacrifice, and the troubling news from BSAA. A tainted victory.

Alcina: Tchaikovsky - Swan Lake

Appears first as a noble elegant socialite. She’s at the height of her power, owns a castle and three daughters and believes herself to be Miranda’s favorite. It’s business as usual, calm serene music. Suddenly an outsider has made his way into her home, killing her daughters one by one. She reaches out to Miranda, who only cares about the stupid ceremony, and realizes everything she knew was a lie. Anger and frustration builds. The music deepens, falls and rises again as she transforms, tries taking revenge on Ethan and fails, having lost everything in one evening.

Quiet, lumbering and slow. Ethan takes the Rose flask back easily; threatened with losing Mother Miranda it very quickly escalates as panic sets in and Moreau throws everything he has at him. The music swells and ends with a bang.

A bold start. Right from the beginning he exudes arrogance, charisma and danger. He plays nice in front of Miranda with a waltz that picks up in intensity when putting Ethan through his first gauntlet. Then the tone gets deeper and quieter for a moment, as he plots in secret; it’s finally time to set his plan in action. It’s a race to the finish line as Ethan tears through the other lords, unknowingly playing right into Miranda’s plan. Realizing he could be a particularly useful asset/ally, Heisenberg puts him through the second gauntlet. The music is sadistically playful as he tests his will and endurance. Upon failing to recruit Ethan, the music picks up for the third gauntlet and ends with a bang, as Karl dies at the hands of Miranda.

A friendly face unfitting in a place such as this. The upbeat and energetic theme sticks out like a sore thumb among the others. Whimsy and grandiosity acts as a brilliant facade for his enigmatic true nature. Though the jolly merchant schtick may be a lie, he always delivers on service.

Immediately imposes a sense of authority and dread. The dark theme plays over and over as she performs the same cruel experiments expecting different results, though it only succeeds in remowing her further from humanity. She imagines a world of pure bliss in acquiring her child, which at this point is as illusory as chasing the holy grail since she’s never satisfied. When she hears of Rose she schemes her way into the Winters home, elated to find the perfect vessel after a century of searching. She steals the child away, leaving behind a trail of destruction that finally catches up to her.

@sneepywhoopy : Hi, I really like your headcannons ! I don't remember if you've already done that, but what would the village ladies' reaction be to an s/o who's a sleepwalker and does stupid things like running right into a wall, talking nonsense, jumping from the top of alcina's castle etc ?

Hi! I wrote something where Y/N confesses their love for the RE8 women in their sleep check it out here! But, I like this idea too, so I'mma roll with this prompt! Also, thank you so much! Let’s get into it!

Alcina:

Alcina is no stranger to your nighttime murmuring. She will sometimes wake up to hear your voice and just listen to what you have to say.

However, when you start moving and eventually start walking in your sleep, Alcina has great cause for alarm.

A few times you have wandered in your sleep, only to be guided back to you and Alcina’s shared bedroom by a frightened maid.

One time, you bolted up out of bed saying how you needed to go make coffee and Alcina chased you up onto the roof.

You tried to jump off the top of the castle, but Alcina grabbed you before you could fall.

She keeps a dead bolt on her door now.

Donna:

Donna is a very light sleeper. If you so much as yawn she’ll wake up.

Donna has alerted her dolls to the fact that you tend to walk in your sleep. It’s nice for her to know she’s got a few helping hands.

Sometimes, you’ll be guided by some dolls to your bedroom or to sit on a nearby chair until Donna can get you.

One of the funniest things she has seen you do is have a tea party with Angie and a few other dolls while you are still asleep.

She joins you happily. She and the dolls get a good laugh at the funny things you say.

All in all, if you have to sleepwalk, it’s good you live in Donna’s house. You have a lot of little buddies to keep you safe.

Miranda:

Miranda is used to your nighttime restlessness.

She finds it rather adorable actually.

Sometimes she will record the things you talk about and do. She lets you read what she saw during the night to see if that makes any difference the next time you sleep.

It doesn’t, but win some lose some, you know?

While Miranda does not sleep much (Maybe four hours in a twenty-four hour period tops), when she is asleep, she tries to make sure you are awake so she does not have to worry about you getting into trouble.

Miranda likes to lie down next to you and rub your head while she listens to you ramble. It’s peaceful for her.

Bela:

For as hyper-alert as is she is when she is awake, Bela sleeps like a rock.

She always needs a good eight hours of sleep a night, which is valid… But it also means that her sisters have to wrangle you when you wander out around the castle in your sleep.

Bela enjoys hearing of what you did during the night. She’ll sip her morning tea calmly and listen to her sisters complain about your adventures.

She feels warm inside because she knows that you care deeply for her family and they feel the same about you. Cass and Dani wouldn’t go out of their way to keep you from getting into trouble unless they really loved you.

It only cements in her mind how special you are to her and that she made a good choice in deciding to pursue a relationship with you.

Cassandra:

I’ve mentioned this before, but Cass likes to lie right on top of you while you sleep.

She loves snuggling you and doesn’t want you to wander away. She knows how bad your sleepwalking can get.

If you wake up and try to move, she’ll know and gently push you back down.

You are surprisingly strong, though. One time, Cass tried to lay you back down only for you to completely throw her off of the bed.

Cass was pissed. Not only did you manage to fight her off, but you did it in your sleep.

Cass monitors your caffeine intake after 5:00 o'clock and promptly cuts off any sodas or coffee. She notices this change tends to make your sleepwalking better.

You complain about it sometimes, but Cass crosses her arms and stands firm which makes you listen. Don’t mess with this Dimitrescu.

Daniela:

Dani finds your sleepwalking endlessly entertaining.

Sometimes to the point of setting up obstacle courses for you to get through.

Alcina walked in to see her doing this one time and shook her head while muttering “Poor Y/N”.

Dani also likes to play games with you while you are asleep.

She loves truth or dare. You almost always pick dare and she’ll come up with funny things for you to do. Her favorite was when she made you run head first into a wall.

You woke up the next morning with a huge headache. You asked Dani what happened and she sheepishly told you.

You busted out laughing. You thought it was hilarious.

As fun as Dani thinks you are when you’re awake, she must admit that getting to see you sleepwalk has its perks too.

OKAY BUT I LOVE YOUR HEADCANONS AND THE ANGST. THEY MAKE ME FEEL THINGS. This is gonna sound like a Weird Af request, you totally don't have to do it if you don't want to or can't or for any reason, BUT PERHAPS can I request some argument hcs? Like the OL Boys did something really bad / really made MC upset, like not just the other person's request where they're like scowling or just mildly upset, but like GENUINE Upset, like I mean somewhere near Heartbreak. Like how would they feel? How would they apologize? Stuff like that. WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE, but if not, I HOPE YOU HAVE A GOOD DAY ANYWAY

Oof these poor boys :( They're all going to be devastated

-- If Cove does something to upset you this badly, then I think it would be because he's angry (reference: that dramatic phone call with Miranda and Terri). So he would be mad, but after he cooled down, just immediate regret.

-- He can't be on bad terms with you. He just can't. So he's going to apologize his head off, probably cry some. He'd try not to because he knows this isn't about him, but he is who he is.

-- His stomach hurts, his heart is going funny, everything is just upside down because you're his best friend, his favorite person, and wow did he mess up. Seriously, he will do anything, please just tell him what to do to make it better.

-- If you can't get back on good terms immediately, if you're too upset and want space, then he's going to be an absolute mess.

-- One thing about Cove is that he's going to google something. So if that happens, he's going to get on his trusty laptop and be searching things like "how to apologize when you screwed up."

-- Cliff is going to try to talk to him, depending on how old Cove is he's not going to want to hear it though.

-- Is it bedtime and you're still not ready to make up? Better get ready for a tap on the window, because guess who's coming over.

-- He is physically incapable of sleeping if you are mad at him.

-- This will ruin Derek.

-- Like Cove will be heartbroken about this, but Derek will be just plain broken.

-- Honestly I can't even imagine what he would do to make you this upset because he's so careful.

-- He would probably at least think about breaking up with you because you deserve better.

-- I cannot overstate what an emotional crisis this is.

-- He'll apologize, but he won't want to apologize too much because he won't want to bother you. But then he'll feel bad about not apologizing enough. Then he can't figure out if he should be doing more to make you feel better or less to give you space. And THEN he gets anxious because he can't figure it out.

-- Eventually, if you don't come to him first, he'll compose himself enough to give you a heartfelt apology, telling you exactly what he did wrong, how he'll be better, and letting you know that if you don't want to be with him anymore, then he understands.

-- Baxter already did this in Step 3 lol, so let's focus on Step 4.

-- Oh no he's done it again.

-- This guy is going to straight up hate himself, all character growth down the toilet, he's the same messed up person he's always been, he never should have let himself believe that he deserved you, he should have left you alone because breaking your heart once was enough, and now he's done it again?

-- Suffocation, no breathing

-- This is a straight up spiral.

-- Derek and Baxter had very different childhoods, but they are also similar in many ways. The self-loathing is a real problem.

-- Baxter is going to think about running again. It's not that he doesn't love you, it's that he doesn't trust himself to love you properly.

-- But he doesn't want to lose you, not really, so he's going to have to do what's always worked: actually talk to you about the issues.

I am so happy that I finally found someone I can talk to about my resident evil 8 Au! It has been stuck in my mind forever and I have been dying to find someone to talk to about it! I have a couple more ideas that go along with it!

First Miranda 100% experimented on the family because she wanted to see that interaction between the magic and the black mold. I think that she would force Mirabel to do it just as a sick sort of test and to see if she actually would. Maribel was so afraid of what would happen to them if she didn't that she went ahead and did it even though she hated herself for a long time afterwards for doing it.

Mirabel doesn't have her glasses anymore because the mutations fixed her eyes and Miranda refuses to allow her to wear a fake pair because in her words "You are my perfect creation You will not sully yourself with fake imperfections." She like Isabela has to play a perfect act but unlike Isabela if she falters or doesn't do what Miranda wants she will be severely punished which doesn't happen very often, her punishments are considered severe even for The lords because in Miranda's eyes she supposed to be her perfect creation and she's not allowed to falter from it so anyone that Mirabel does save she does so in extreme secrecy oftentimes faking their deaths so that Miranda doesn't know The few times that she was caught were extremely bad, to the point where a couple of the Lords had to step in to get Miranda to stop before she actually killed her.

Anyone that she is forced to experiment on that dies is buried in a graveyard near her house she gives them a proper burial and tombstones and personally takes care of each one to try and make amends.

I also agree that her silk can be used for armor it is extremely sturdy and it's basically indestructible she also can use it to cocoon people but she doesn't because when she cocoons people it liquefies anyone inside, which she learned the hard way when she was trying to stop someone from dying when she was little. She also not only can control moths but they are like small little aspects of herself kind of like the Ravens are for Miranda.

Her relationship with Monroe is kind of weird because he to me is very childlike especially when it comes to the other lords (calling Mother Miranda just mother and referring to the other Lords as his brother and sisters) he tries to manipulate her but in a way that would make Miranda view him in a better light kind of like a middle brother annoying their youngest sister because their mom's favorite. Alcina 100% was extremely excited by the idea of actually raising a daughter who she could watch grow/age/ develop, The daughters were actually really excited at the idea of having a baby sister that they could watch and protect and play with and were heartbroken when Mirabel had to go especially Daniela(she was so excited not to be the youngest anymore and to have a baby sister). So when Miranda gives Mirabel back her family not only is alcina extremely jealous/envious but so are the daughters because "if Miranda was just going to give her a family why couldn't she have been in their family?" The girls don't understand that it's her biological family.

I don't think that Miranda would have the creepy Casita collapse when she punished them (That would just be a lot more work for her because then she would have to figure out where Maribel and the family could stay in the meantime) I think she got mad at Mirabel for not paying attention to her work like she had been before because her family was there and went to "lightly correct her" and basically slapped her across the face in front of the entire family they went to protest/ protect her and that's where they all got punished.

Speaking of the family I realized I didn't go into how they were kidnapped or how they meet Mirabel again. When they were kidnapped Miranda basically just drugged All of them one by one (starting with Dolores) in the night and put them in a giant metal box with air slits that was completely soundproof she was thoughtful enough to put some food and water in there but that was it, The time it took to get from the encanto back to the village was like 2 weeks almost 3 Miranda refused to talk to them during that entire time so by the time they get there they are completely terrified and have no idea what's going on Miranda then drugs them again cleans them up ties them all up and kind of like Ethan has a meeting with all of the Lords she has the four Lords come first and basically tells them that the people in front of them are a surprise present for The fifth Lord "for all of her hard work and devotion" she doesn't say her name because she also wants it to be a surprise for the family as well just because she wants to see their reactions because she's sadistic like that. When Mirabel gets there they have bags over their heads as well as gagged so she doesn't know who they are at first, Miranda basically give her a speech about how she's perfect/is so devoted and loyal That Miranda decided to give her an award because unlike any of the other Lords she doesn't ask for things she tells Mirabel to close her eyes takes the bags off of all of their heads then tells her to open her eyes when she does she sees her entire family sitting there she is of course absolutely shocked and horrified but plays it off really well and acts extremely grateful and happy that this happened.

When the family first got to her house Maribel was kind of standoffish she didn't really know how to interact with her family and was afraid of accidentally hurting them/having them see her as a monster but couldn't help having an extremely obvious soft spot for Antonio she of course told them the danger that they were all in the first night they were there because she didn't want them to be caught off guard by anything else but it didn't really click until Miranda punished them just how dangerous everything is.

Of course ‼️‼️ I mean even if I wasn’t into RE I’d listen. But Iam. And I will listen closer and draw <33

ANYWAYYYYYY MIRANDA. We have beef. I mean I’ve never liked her. But making Mirabel experiment on her own family??? You know I think this might be the one time where she breaks down and tries to defy Mother Miranda. I mean it’s bad enough she has to do it to innocent people, and be just can’t with her family. I mean she ends up doing it anyway, probably because Miranda threatened to kill them but still, she was so guilty 😭😭

Mirabel being close with Lady D and her daughters before hand (and I assume after) is sweet though. Probably the only somewhat positive thing going on for her before her family came. I mean Alcina was basically a second/foster mother to Mirabel. And the girls really loved her, and actually felt some sympathy for her whenever she got punished. Daniela feeling said and getting to feel like a big sister is so important to me what <\\\\33 and Mirabel’s powers‼️‼️ The moths being a small part of her reminds me of The Artist from DBD, that’s so cool 🤭 glad you agree on the armor part 👹👹

Also the perfect thing, I’m not surprised. Mirabel definitely has more pressure to follow Miranda’s orders, more than the other lords. Not even because she’s youngest, she is by far the most suitable of the them, and therefore, Miranda wants her to reflect that perfection. Mirabel being punished is so sad 😭 Miranda is not above getting psychological and physical either in the game. Which is INSANE 💀 and then her family got punished for defending her, which is wild 🦈

ALSO HER KIDNAPPING HER FAMILY ONE BY ONE WHAT DUH…Mirabel was probably so scared for her family, wondering what Miranda had done to them (though she technically hadn’t)t done anything serious— not yet anyway). She just acted it out and Miranda somehow fell for it. Heisenberg was probably rolling his eyes during Miranda’s speech because 1, he hates her, and 2, he’s tired of hearing Miranda drone on and on (again) about how Mirabel is the best among them lmao

Also Mirabel trying to warm them to basically always be on your toes and walk around on eggshells around Miranda. She probably felt so bad when they got punished because she felt like she did ‘t protect them or tell them enough to keep them safe and away from Miranda’s wrath 🧌

you think Miranda like??? Projects onto Mirabel. Like she dresses Mirabel how she would’ve dressed her daughter if she was still alive. And when Mirabel gets older she slowly lets Mirabel make her own clothes (with her silk) Idk 🕴️

Ok, we're all talking about ViolEtte (Viola x Juliette) and Brandina (Brandi x Dina) but can we stop for a second to think how cute the two ships Brandtonio (Brandi x Antonio) and Mirola would be??? (Miranda x Viola)

Brandtonio:

They are both widowed parents.

They both like to cook.

They both are stressed for their kids.

They're both "poor" (well, not Antonio, but I have always imagined that Antonio has argued with his father and therefore does not use the family money)

They're both cute lil babies. They need love. Well, Brandi likes bad boys but she can also feel in love for a italian man who curses while cooking. Antonio can become very fearsome if he fails to cook what he wants to cook or if Romeo touches something in the kitchen.

Imagine how cute a Brandtonio child would be.

Bonus: Antonio Is a good dad, Imagine him taking care of lil unborn baby Broke as his own son 🥺

Imagine the scene: Antonio manages to open a small restaurant after many sacrifices. Job-seeking, Brandi is desperate, Don Lothario tells Brandi that he knows a family of cooks who could hire her. Don goes to meet the Montys on weekends, so he suggests Brandi tò go with him. Brandi asks Antonio if she can work there. The two fall in love after some times working togethet but Brandi is afraid to confess to Antonio that she is pregnant by her late husband, Skip. At a certain point, however, she is forced to admit it and Antonio tells her that it's fine with him and that he can be a father to that child too and Brandi is like 🥺🥺🥺🥺

Mirola:

They both have complicated lives. Viola doesn't have a canon story but you can make up anything, Miranda lives under the constant pressure of her mother who wants her as a perfect heir when Consort doesn't consider her a possible heir at all and Miranda DOES NOT WANT to be part of the Capps. She would like to escape from her family. She wants to be a normal teen, with her hobbes, her wishes. She wants to make her errors, be free, not a doll on a shelf.

I have the headcanon that Viola is a very hyperactive and sociable girl, while Miranda hides her insecurities under a rebellious, annoying, spoiled girl personality. I like to imagine if by meeting Viola she could finally find a shoulder to cry on, first a friend to let off steam with and then slowly begin to discover her bisexuality and discover herself in love with her.

Bonus: drama. Imagine creating a situation where maybe for reason X Miranda believes that Viola might like Tybalt, so out of spite Miranda tries to seduce Mercutio but Mercutio likes Tybalt and Tybalt like Mercutio. Imagine if Viola and Miranda have been secretly friends for a long time (secretly because of the feud) one day Viola disappears and the police accuse Tybalt precisely because someone believed that Viola liked Tybalt. Boom. Drama in the family. Miranda hating Tybalt. CHAOS.

95 Theses (Meower's version), Everyone is Miranda

Hello good people! This is part 2 of @alexandroseleven post [HERE], which laid the foundations for me to explain this theory. The next posts will be at @zeleneagle [HERE], @h-doodles [HERE] and @lapisdemon22 [HERE] respective blogs, who will continue to explain what happened last night.

SO LET'S BEGIN

THIS was us last night, playing around, saying stuff to see if something would eventually stick. Up to this point we had slandered Alcina, Cass was slowly becoming Miranda, then KJ said it. Let's zoom in on her messages for a moment.

That's when it hit me. Perhaps I'm not as delulu as I thought?

For context, the night before yesterday I had been working on a theory with the help of both Lee and Myrddin, said theory talked about the possibility of all Dimitrescu's and Beneviento's representing a side, a stage you may say, of Miranda's life. Like pieces to a giant puzzle.

EVERYONE IS MIRANDA.

So, I know it sounds far fetched, but let me explain from the beginning.

First of all, let's begin with Bela (<3). She's been cooked and served in the past, we can officially describe her as the kinder, caring version of Miranda, the one that always has MC's back and viceversa, as confirmed by the devs with the Parallels Theory. I will quote Cinder in this:

"When MC is in need of care, Bela goes to their “territory” with soup to aid them despite “not caring”. Although she’s pissed, she still helps them when they need it, and they only go to Bela’s dorm when they’re both feeling better and have the capability of saying no. Bela goes to MC, not the other way around, and there is always a choice."

"When MC is in need of care, Miranda takes them to her home. It doesn’t even occur to her to take them back to their dorm where their friends are waiting and concerned. She takes them to her place, where she feels like she is most in control of her environment and how people function and there is barely a choice at all in the matter as MC is literally drugged out of their mind in her car. Eventually, they make it back to their dorm safe and sound, and they are taken care of well enough to not feel endangered."

They have similar responses when caring for MC, completely parallel to each other, Bela for the better and Miranda for the worst. Which leads me to think, is there a possibility Miranda could have acted like Bela with Feather? That she once was the right side of the coin?

We know Miranda and Feather met in 1976, they crash into each other and even though Feather apologizes inmmediately, she's still met with a "Get out of my way." From Miranda. However, the very next piece of info we get on this flashback is this:

"You rear back, you know - somewhere in your bones - that she is mean. She has a propensity for cruelty, especially if someone wrongs her. It is the only way she has survived this long."

I find that last part quite interesting. It seems Miranda's cruelty very foundations come from external pressure, people wronging her, society perhaps? In the 70s and even up until today, misogyny was a very common factor in society, no doubt, something that could have affected Miranda. If keeping her mean persona up meant respect from others, it would only make sense to keep it on, this is further proved by another part of the same flashback:

"You have been balancing precariously in the realm between friends and more, but neither of you have wanted to risk the societal persecution that would follow if you were to be wrong."

Society continues to fuck things up I guess.

Anyways, back to Miranda can be kind ramble, Miranda personally searches for Feather to apologize. This is a version of Miranda we do not see with MC, however is a version we see Bela perform.

Which leads me to believe that Bela in reality represents the old Miranda, the one who would care for Feather and would no doubt fight her mean instincts to make her happy. The one who would be softer with Feather when away from prying eyes and judgmental voices that could very well destroy them both.

Interesting connections do NOT end here.

If Bela and Donna (talking about her a bit further in the post) can share traits with Miranda, who says the rest can't?

If there's someone people haven't talked enough about, it's Dani. Our girl is gathering dust, but why?

I began thinking about her, analyzing her route. Dani cannot fall in love, because she's cursed to become a beast when she does by Miranda. Her route is almost like a fairytale, isn't it? The friendliness, the sweetness, the way only MC can break the curse by choosing to stay (which is vastly different from Bela's route, in which if you choose to stay and support her, you get killed).

So, I began cooking with that. I think Dani is the perfect representation of young first love, the innocence that it brings and the cruelness of when it ends. Daniela is cursed to become a beast that brings a finale to her own fairytale.

She represents the monster you become when love has to end.

That clear, I believe that in this theory, Daniela represents Miranda's grief after losing not only Eva, but also Feather. Her young love, who was killed just a bit after her daughter. She would move the sun and the moon for them, create a cult of followers, create experiments and discover inmortality, she would make a beast out of herself just for them.

If Eva stayed, if Feather stayed, I assure you Miranda wouldn't have becomed the beast.

We move on to Cassandra, she is this social figure with big expectations for herself and even BIGGER dreams, that when they get destroyed by an outside force, she's willing to tear the world apart and even taint her hands in the blood of someone else, even when it's someone who helped her, to get them back. This is proven by her bad ending, where there's little to no hesitation on her side when Alcina suggests sacrificing people.

Are we seeing this? Cass loves theatre with all her heart, aspires to make a living of it, her dreams are based on this, if she loses it, if everything is destroyed? She doesn't back down and instead takes the next best decision, even if it's unreasonable and in turn destroys everything else.

Does this sound familiar? It better be because this is exactly what Miranda does, except she isn't inclined to theatre like Cass is, she's inclined to family and love. She's represents Miranda's ambition and determination and how willing she is to destroy the world for her Eva and her Feather, how Miranda never backed down even after countless resets, after years of the same shit, just for another chance.

Angie is next, and I believe she might be very important.

We see Angie on all routes, including her own, having a close relationship with vices and unhealthy coping mechanisms. On her cult ending, it's also revealed that Angie originally died with Claudia, and Donna in her despair went to Miranda, crafted a doll to Angie's appearence and gave it her soul.

This is going to sound far-fetched, but HEAR ME OUT-

I think Angie represents loss, she represents the unhealthy things Miranda continues to do, the vices and the willingness to put herself through everything to get back her daughter. Angie was brought back to life by a family member that couldn't stand the idea of being left behind, that would do anything to keep her by her side, no matter the sacrifice, Angie represents Miranda's purpose and mission to keep going in both RE8 and RL, Eva.

Which brings us to Donna being Miranda's mirror. This part has been cooked by Lee in the past, they both have the possesive side, the obsession, the desire to keep what is rightfully theirs, if we do not focus on MC, that would be Eva and Angie respectively. Donna would do ANYTHING for Angie, she kills, she sacrifices, poisons, and other questionable acts, if prompted she would definitely go Miranda lenghts. And she has technically, hasn't she? She brought Angie back, created a doll to fit her soul into, I'm sure if the doll hadn't been a possibility, she would have gone Miranda levels and broken time for her.

And to finish this huge ramble, let me talk about Worst Mother of the Year award winner Alcina Dimitrescu, who, for some reason, was difficult to wrap my head around.

You see, on @alexandroseleven post, you could very well see me struggling with her and eventually reach a conclusion, but let me explain it a bit further.

Alcina is a clear representation of two things, pride and failure. Throughout the routes we see how much she prides herself in what she has and her reputation, her power you might even say, on what she can do and the opportunity given to her by the cult. This is an influence she tries to give to her daughters, trying to guide them into Mother Miranda's hands, and only successfully convinces Cassandra.

In her route, we see her trying to desperately fix her relationship with her daughters (specially Daniela), however, at the very ending of her good ending, we see how she breaks it even further! Because she doesn't see the main source of the problem, which is her desire for her daughters to follow a path she's putting them on.

For all that, I believe Alcina represents Miranda's pride over her power, but also represents Miranda trying to fix what's already broken and the failures that come with it (aka, the thousand resets), not seeing that the main problem is she's not letting go.

Having explained and argumented everything, I can safely say I believe every character in this game is meant to represent a stage of Miranda's life. So yeah, everyone is Miranda :D

I forget that it's fairly common to actually dislike traits which are not the same as yours and im: but why...

Anyone who's unlike me in some manner I 9/10 times have big interest and respect for

#Obviously if someone have shitty views or beliefs thats not what i mean as a disclaimer #But like... Im very emotional about everything. I find people who aren't very cool and i just want to understand them better #Talked with oliver some and hes very... Well kinda 0 bs type of person and he's not afraid to say things when hes upset or similar #Fpr me thats whack. I personally am a pushover and will basically try to appease everyone even if theyre assholes. Kill them with kindness #But hes not the way and im like... I cant imagine doing that myself but thats actually awesome I am impressed #In my country/culture the norm is kinda to take all shit you get from others and turm the other cheek etc bc we dony want to be a bother #So his way of thinking and well being is very alien in general where im from. I joked and said its probably from his finish side. Finish #People are bad ass and definitely have an stronger spine than us 😂 but like evrn with hobbies and interests i am thid way #I can and will sit down and listen to someone i like talk abojt their interests even if i dont personally care for it or am into it. I will #Still find it interesting to hear about though. Like fabian is an active gym goer atm and is trying to be veru healthy. That doesnt align #To me or anything i have any real interest in. How touch starved do you think Alex really is? I feel like initially he's not one for touching at all. But if it's someone he cares about, even platonically and they're super important to him he just... melts if they touch him. He won't show it of course. BUT YEAH. What do you think about Alex and the touch starved thing?

when him and Miranda split he probably had a lot of nights of just holding pillows and blankets in his sleep, keeping a couch cushion on one of his thighs, hugging himself in private without realizing it, maybe at a desk when he was listening to someone he would put one hand on top of the other on the surface and hold his own fingers. small things to give him the illusion that someone else was there.

i do think he's still touch-starved, very much, but i believe its one of those things that he never really thinks about anymore because well, he just works all the time and lets it run through his mind a lot by choice, plus he now has people that he cares about that he can be around and they fulfill his need of company by just existing around him, so he doesn't really NEED the touchiness.

but. i also like the idea that, when alone with Saga or someone very close to him, and that person begins lightly touching him, but nonstop? a hand that's continuously massaging one of his shoulders, or rubbing up and down his back, or fingers in his hair, or an arm wrapped around his shoulder?

man turns into a silent MESS. like an actual pitbull that whines when you stop petting it. he gives silent approval throughout the whole thing by not moving away, but in his brain he's like "please don't stop please keep patting me and hugging me and holding me and having your hands on me please please please".

and he tries SO hard not to move in a way that mistakes for him not enjoying it. maybe he'll just relax his body, maybe a gentle sigh. if they're lucky, he'll literally scoot like an inch or two closer to them. it they're VERY lucky, he might even work up the courage to put his hand on them as well, on their shoulder or the side of their thigh.

and when that person stops, he'll try to hide it but he will FEEL and LOOK SO SAD. he'll look away for a second and take a small breath and compose himself but deep down he's like "no no no no please don't stop please i was having such a good time i don't want this to end please please please"

and that very very very special moment when someone gives him a hug. ooohhhh. ooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhoohhhhh. oh he takes a second to realize that it's actually happening but when he does he HOLDS that person. he does NOT want to let them go. hands supporting their back, chin that's ever so close to resting on the shoulder or the top of the head, chest against chest [he's hoping so so so hard that they can't feel his heart beat]. he could pass out with a smile he's so happy.

bonus stuff with Saga cause of course.

i imagine a scenario where she's been very close to him most of the day on a case or just around the offices, standing right behind him so her chest is on his back or his arm, hand on the shoulder as a friendly lean, patting the side of his arm when talking to him. at the end of the day he seems like he's in he's usual normal poker face mood but something is off. she can't help but give him at least ONE profile, just to make sure he's okay.

"Something missing from home Old soul looking for shelter So selfish to ask more from someone who gives me more than enough Desperate Case Casey"

and she could just, start bawling her eyes out just from that.

so when they're at her place, and she sits on the couch, she offers him a spot. he takes it, and of course he hopes for a least a hand near the leg, or for her to be a few inches closer than usual.

then she just, straight up sits right next to him and puts her head on his shoulder while they watch TV. he's SO taken aback. he can't process it fully. before he has time to ask, she's already talking to keep him from questioning it. "I think the day went pretty well." "I wonder if we should take that case up town." "This show looks good, I've seen this actor before." he gets no chance to speak. he just sits there with this closeness put on him so suddenly. but after a few seconds, he finally leans back into the couch and tries to calm his breathing and his heart. he's glued his eyes to the TV screen, avoiding eye contact. but she can read him, and she's so happy knowing that in his head, he's practically screaming with joy that his body is just too in shock to be able to express.

E5 deep dive! This will be fun because Mr and I have VERY different opinions on certain parts of this episode.

The good:

This might be Pablo Schreiber’s best performance yet, and that’s saying something.

Everyone delivers in this one. Soren and Laera have some great moments, separately and together. Riz’s final lines with John (and that hug!), Halsey’s and John’s speeches at Vannak’s funeral, Kwan’s vision and her shamelessly calling John on his BS. This episode does a great job of showing the fallout from Reach on a small scale. Not what it did to humanity as a whole, but what it did to these individual humans.

The exit from Reach and Riz’s last run for Vannak are epic.

Vannak gets a great send-off, and can we talk about how well-preserved he was after being dead for a week?

Makee continues to be one of the most intriguing characters for many reasons, not the least of which is she’s inexplicably (literally inexplicably; they haven’t explained it) alive. She cries as she watches Reach fall, then says she cares nothing for “the Demon” (who she ordered ‘Gatanai not to kill a few hours ago). She and Cortana appear to be hatching some kind of plan.

Speaking of Cortana…EVERYTHING I thought about that opening scene in the first episode got flipped on its head. Did Cortana sell her soul (operating system?) to Parangosky in exchange for John or something?

Also speaking of Cortana, John is so not OK without her it hurts to watch. “If I’d had my armor, if I’d had her with me” 😭 “There’s a space where there used to be a voice and a feeling someone knew me” 😭😭 Just get these two back together already.

Kai’s little strut when she meets the S-IIIs 😍

The bad:

Reach didn’t quite go out with the bang it deserved, unless there’s a heck of a surprise in store. I’m not sure what would have been the bang it deserved, but this wasn’t it.

Admiral Keyes is not around. Yes, I knew he wasn’t going to be, but I love him darn it.

Vannak was all dead, not only mostly dead as I had hoped and will continue to imagine.

Still no Miranda, not that I expected her. Does she know her dad is dead?

Observations/predictions/wishful thinking:

Riz’s exit. One part where that @mrtobenamedlater and I do not agree. I saw this coming from the start of the season. Riz was already hurting and increasingly disillusioned with Spartan life. Now she’s even more beaten up. She was never really going to be a Spartan again. She can barely even walk when she tells John she’s done. Her departure made a good contrast to John’s response. His way to honor Vannak’s sacrifice is to hunt down his killers; Riz’s way is to live the life his sacrifice spared.

I don’t think this is the last of Riz, however. We’ll run into her again.

Makee seems to be filling the Sesa ‘Refumee role from Halo 2, with her line about the Prophets being liars. She is on no one’s side because no one is on her side.

Given that Makee describes ‘Gatanai to Cortana as the fleet master and calls him “the Arbiter,” I guess he’s the Silver Timeline’s Thel ‘Vadam? And his line to Makee about how she lives only by his grace? Did he personally revive her or something?

Also I’m going to assume Makee never touched the artifact in E2, probably just as well since that would have taken John out, and that she and ‘Gatanai took it off Reach. Why didn’t she touch it though?

Did Kessler get kidnapped for a new Spartan program? I’m all about Uncle Master Chief going to rescue his surrogate nephew by the way.

Where did Perez and that transport go? I was sort of expecting to find them on Aleria.

This episode will get derided as “filler” but it sets up a lot for the rest of the season: The Arbiter, the ring, Kwan’s and Madrigal’s place in all this, the Spartan-IIIs.

Cassandra loves being a mom! I mean, it goes without saying, since she chose to have children so she's all ready to love the little ones and all of that.

Normally, she doesn't really have any commitments or work. She does fill in for Bela when she can't be in some places. And at times, she has to travel with either Alcina or Miranda for business but that is only when it needs to happen. Her typical work day starts at around eleven in the noon, and it usually ends 3 to 4 hours later because girlie cannot handle working for longer than that.

Becoming a mother didn't change much, she still has her schedule and things to get to, but now she has little tots around. Normally, nannies handle the babies, and once they're cleaned and fed, Cassandra spends the rest of the day with them.

She's very loving and protective, like, she's territorial and possessive and this applies to her children. She isn't above doing anything to ensure their safety and everyone who knows her knows this fact about her.

Before kiddos started school, she spent most days with them at home, or they'd all go to the castle and have fun there because Alcina and Daniela adore the children so much.

Cassandra doesn't care if any of her daughters is very young, she has no problems discussing different topics with them as if they're adults, and as a result, her kiddos are very well-spoken and can talk about many different topics at a young age.

Not only there for deep talks, but Cassandra enjoys doing different things with her children. Shopping, getting their nails done, picking new (picture) books (and later on normal books, she's there for everything.

Despite that, she is prone to worry and must always know her children's whereabouts and who they're with, or else she gets anxious.

When it comes to a lot of things, she lets Wife handle things because she knows she can't. Like any time any of her children is sick, she lets Wife handle it and takes them to the doctor because Cass is just feeling so bad and panicky she doesn't know how to react or what to do.

For school, she loves attending all the different activities her children are involved in (nothing sports-related much to Wife's chagrin) but she loves being there and watching her children shine.

She loves to spoil her children, and yes she has rules but generally, she's just a pushover just like her mom.

Bela and Daniela:

They adore their nieces!

Like, in the Castle, the daughters have their own rooms which they never use because they're usually either sleeping with Alcina or their aunties because sleepovers are fun.

They'd get into Bela's closet and it's not an uncommon sight to see them walking around with her shoes on. Normally, when Daniela does this, Bela gets mad because she doesn't want anyone going through her things and trying them on without asking. But with the kiddos? She's okay with it and she even teaches them how to balance while they're walking in the too big heels they're trying to walk in.

Daniela loves spending time with the kids doing all sorts of things. from being chaotic to reading in the library, she's up for it all. She's also very protective over them, like it's not just fun and games but she's also very wary of any possible dangers and is always keeping an eye on her nieces.

The girls love being around their aunties; when they catch one of them going out they ask if they can come too because it's bound to be fun. Bela and Daniela never say no (unless where they're going isn't suitable for children) and they just bring the kids along. And of course, they always end up buying them treats and the like because yasss let's spoil the kiddos.

While Bela is a stickler for rules and gets snappy at her sisters, her nieces can do a lot worse and she wouldn't bat an eye at them. Just let them do as they please because 'are they hurting anyone?' then no, just let them be.

Bela gets the kiddos the best most over-the-top presents all the time because her nieces are special and they will stand out in every situation.

Alcina, on the other hand, is a renowned celebrity and socialite known for her elegance and grace. She is a successful and gifted jazz vocalist. She’s your favorite singer.

You are a skilled tailor who has just gained overnight fame for creating a stunning dress that has taken the world by storm. The dress is in such high demand that everyone from Hollywood celebrities to European royalty has been talking about it.

Today, you’ve received two separate requests for the same dress – One from Miranda Priestly and the other from Alcina Dimitrescu… Holy shit. What? Both women are insistent on acquiring the dress, and you find yourself in a difficult position as you… Only created one. This is tough.

After much deliberation, you come up with a solution: You will just make an exact replica of the dress so that both women can have one. It’s not a foolproof fix, but it’s at least the best one you can think of. (Hopefully they won’t mind that the dress will not truly be unique any longer). You work tirelessly, pouring all of your skill and dedication into creating a duplicate that is just as beautiful as the original.

But, despite your effort to create a replica of the dress and satisfy them both, Miranda insists that the dress is hers and wants it to remain an exclusively one-of-a-kind piece. The powerful editor-in-chief of Runway refuses to believe that anyone else could possibly possess something as exquisite as this dress.

Funnily enough, Miranda has actually met Alcina quite a few times at various events. She respects her and knows the clout she has. If Alcina gets the dress… Miranda knows EVERYONE who follows her career is going to saturate the media and declare that this is an iconic look belonging only to her. While Miranda is a beloved, and sometimes controversial personality, she’s not in the spotlight quite like Alcina is. The knowledge that Alcina is also trying to obtain the dress, her dress, is somewhat worrisome.

Miranda keeps insisting that she was the first to request the dress, and thus, it should rightfully belong to her… That’s not true, though.

Once your dress started hitting social media, many other high-ranking fashion mavens had already been clamoring for it… You only cared about selling it when you learned that both Miranda and Alcina wanted it, however. Again, you have been a fan of their work seemingly all of your life. You also definitely have a major crush on both of them which is clouding your vision. It was an honor when you got both of their requests. And it makes you very fucking nervous.

After days of being bombarded with endless phone calls from both Miranda’s and Alcina’s personal assistants, you have had enough. Despite the financial gain that comes with creating dresses for two of the most influential women in the world, you realize that your sanity is more important than any amount of money.

In a bold move, you demand that you will only sell these pieces if you can meet Miranda and Alcina in person to work out the details. Either both of them get a chance to own the dresses or neither of them do. You explain that it’s important for you to understand the individual needs of each woman and to ensure that they are satisfied with the final product… But it’s really an excuse to get them to quit the bickering, and so you can actually meet them.

After some initial resistance, both personal assistants reluctantly agree to arrange the meeting. You feel a sense of relief knowing that you can take control of the situation and finally put an end to the many phone calls.

As you prepare to meet with Miranda and Alcina, you take a deep breath and remind yourself that your work is highly sought after for a reason, and that you have the power to create something truly remarkable for both of these women.

Finally, the day arrives when you present the dresses to Miranda and Alcina. As you go out to your lobby to bring them both back to your office, you are suddenly speechless. They’re even more gorgeous in person. Your heart thunders hard as they both look you over. Analyzing you.

Oh, man… Maybe this was a horrible idea.

4⭐ Town Headcanons : Song for Each Member's Solo Career

Now im sure im not the only one that considers 4Town ever disbanding to be a nightmare that should never come true, but, in the hypothetical that it did (WHICH IT WONT EVER) these are the songs I think each would write and perform:

⭐Robaire : Leave The Door Open by Bruno Mars, Anderson.Paak & Silk Sonic

Robaire fully embodies the charm and velvetine swagger of this song to a degree where its almost annoying, but I can't deny he's perfect for this vibe. I can just see that stupid perfect smile of his as he sings it. UGH !!! no matter how many times i hear this song, i cant help but get carried up in its energy and that is exactly the effect Robaire has always had on 4Town fans and the new ones who will enjoy his more mature turn at music.

⭐ Jesse : Stick Season by Noah Kahan

Ok maybe I'm a little biased because Jesse is my man and I've been obsessed with this album lately but i really think Jesse would strip everything back and become a really homey, heartfelt to the point it breaks, tender and honest music. I just love the image of him in a flannel with a guitar just strummin away and sat on the hood of his old car, singing about whats on his mind and in his heart. gosh i love my sweet man (and go check out this artists whole album its soulcrushingly good)

⭐Taeyoung : Promise by Jimin

i know its very on the nose to say that Taeyoung would do kpop after 4Town disbands, but i have a theory about this. I think after 4Town ends, Taeyoung would "retire" as an artist, bidding his farewells to the limelight and settling into a normal life where he can focus on his passion for animal rescue, maybe even setting up his own sanctuary and going to school to learn more about caring for and studying animals. but then, after maybe a decade of nothing, Tae would drop one final song, maybe on the 10 year anniversary of 4Towns end and it would flood the world. and this song i think is perfect for how he would feel if he made a song alone.

⭐Aaron T : In The Heights

Now, maybe I'm jumping a bit but this kind of Lin Manuel Miranda style broadway, started with his take on Hamilton, where its got alot of hiphop influence just SCREAMS Aaron T to me. his energy, expressiveness and being known for being the fast-talking, bounce off the walls member i think lends to modern broadway so damn well, and for this song especially, he would be Usnavi obviously, and would have so much personality that he carries the whole show by himself.

⭐Aaron Z : Cracker Island by Gorillaz

okok hear me out on this one, similar yo Taeyoung, i think Z would take a break from performing after 4Town splits up just to have some downtime and fihure out life outside the band, but then, he'd come back not to sing but to PRODUCE songs. he'd be one of those artists who releases a song once every 4-5 years and it takes the world by storm so hard the hype lasts til he comes back. anf for me, this electric synth-punk is something i could see him making. very grungy and dirty electro/retrowave sound that would set the world on fire. he's got the same cool and funky swag that this song especially i think just glows with.
