How to Request?

Just send me an ask on this blog detailing what you what like! It's that simple. Include as little or as much info as you would like. The more specific you are, the more likely you are to get exactly what you want. But vague requests aren't necessarily a problem. And anon asks ARE turned on, so don't feel shy!

What Info Should I Include In My Request?

The following are extra pieces info you could include in your request to make it easier on me:

What size to make a wallpaper. This can be exact measurements or if you have an image that is the right size than feel to send that to me as well. (I'm not sure if you can send media through requests, but if not then feel free to dm this blog. If you want to remain anonymous on the request then i won't share your blog)

If the character you are requesting has multiple outfits, specify which ones you do/don't want. If you don't specify, i'll usually just use a mix.

What icon/edit i've done in the past do you want me to base it on? This isn't required, but if you want a guarantee that it will turn out a certain way then feel free to give the link to a specific thing i've done in the past. If nothing is specified i'll do what i usually do: whatever i want. Which i like to think usually doesn't turn out bad but it does mean you get a certain level of unpredictability when it comes to the little details.

What pride flag to use if there are multiple version.(ex. The sunset aroace flag vs both the aro and ace flags)

What Happens If I Don't Like How My Request Turns Out?

Simply let me know! Send another ask politely letting me know what I did wrong and i'll fix it!

When Do Requests Close?

Requests will close whenever i am busy/overwhelmed with my life. I will also probably close requests once i reach a certain amount so that i can catch up before getting new ones. Remember that i am a real person and have others things to do than just run this blog.

How Long Will My Request Take?

Depends on how interested i am in it. I will try to get to every request when i can, and the amount of requests i currently have affects that. If it is something I find very fun to work on it will probably get done faster. ;3 Of course after I finish the request It will be thrown in the queue. I sometimes have a backlog of posts but i try to queue requests to pop up within a couple days of me finishing them.

Can I Request More Than Once?

Yep! There is no limit whatsoever on how many requests you can submit. So go wild :)

Do I Have To Credit You?

You never have to directly credit me if you use something i've made, but rebloging it IS appreciated! It's how my work gets spread around to other people. But if you do want to credit me in your bio or whatever because you're using one of my icons i will always appreciate it :) THE EXCEPTION IS MY ICONS/EDITS USING ANOTHER PERSON'S ARTWORK! It is imperative that if another artist has been gracious enough to let me use their work that you properly credit them if using something i've made with it!!! Just a simple "credits to: link to artist" in your bio or pinned post should be enough!

Hello everyone, doing my introduction again, but I feel like it’ll be better hopefully.

Welcome to my blog where I find things and post random stuff like memes, art, sometimes screenshots of achievements and gameplay. I do a lot more! I do like to write fanfic, I like doing Q&As, overall I just like being a little social despite being socially awkward.

I am an artist for fun, I find all kinds of new games and things that’ll interest me and I am rather indecisive and a bit of a neat freak, (so hopefully I’ll be more satisfied with this intro.)

I like to watch anime, paranormal related shows, crime shows, and I love to read comic books and manga. I’m a bit of weeb so yes I’ve played otaku games and RPGs.

Current favorite animes/mangas are One Punch Man, HxH, Bleach, InuYasha, Demon Slayer, Bungou Stray Dogs, Osomatsu-San and more!

Current games I’m playing are Pokémon Go, Dislyte and Twisted Wonderland, if you want to friend me on Dislyte and TWST, just ask and I’ll give you my codes! I do enjoy connecting more with people who are interested in what I’m interested in.

I love other games too! I love Deltarune, Undertale, Animal Crossing, Sonic and Mario games, Pokémon, dead by daylight, resident evil, Devil May Cry, COD: MW2, and many more.

Oh one more thing! I don’t support creators if they have done bad things but instead separate creator from art. Only times I would find myself supporting the creator is if they had proved themselves to get better genuinely. I do not like drama in general, I’m tired of seeing it, and most of the time it’s usually people who over-dramatize some things… Ofc there are situations in which cases they are VERY serious, and I’ll know it when I see it. Just saying, please keep the drama to yourselves, I’m not interested, nor will I ever be interested. This place here is for fun and silly things :}

since this is a huge thing going on over on twitter i thought it’d talk about it here too.

this whole post is going to be about Quinton Flynn. if you’re a supporter of this voice actor, i recommend looking into the recent bringing up of his assaults.

TRIGGER WARNINGS: SEXUAL ASSAULT, SEXUAL ASSAULT AGAINST MINORS, MISOGYNY. There are very detailed and graphic situations in the sources below, and I want people to take the most precaution when approaching this subject. This has been going on for well over a decade, and we can’t keep quiet about it anymore.

Recent news about Quinton Flynn has started controversy on Twitter in the past few hours. There’s a tag going around “#fuckqf”, which talks about everything that he has done.

This has been a long running issue in the Kingdom Hearts community, and Square Enix fans in general. You may know Quinton Flynn as the english voice actor for Axel, Reno, and lesser mentioned roles such as Sheldon from MLAATR, and Silver the Hedgehog from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He’s mostly known for his roles over at Square, though, he has a huge portfolio. A major issue that’s hardly talked about in the Kingdom Hearts community, however, is the many assaults this man has committed against his younger female fanbase. He’s well known for being very touchy towards younger women at conventions, and even very sexually explicit on his Instagram and Whatsapp.

Despite all of the stories that have been told since the early 2010s, Square Enix has refused to address the issue up until 2/3/2021. As you can imagine, when more relevant people in the community spoke up about the things they’ve known and even experienced themselves, people immediately questioned Square Enix on why they’ve kept silence for so long.

Screenshots have been floating around, but here are some screenshots from articles that have been popping up. The actual articles and the google drive with most of the information will be at the end of the post. If you’re easily triggered by this type of content I heavily recommend scrolling past this and just spreading the news about him.

By now you might be asking, where do I start? How can I help get this man fired from his position at Square Enix and other voice acting roles in the future? Many people have been calling this number, +1-858-790-7529, to report this. You can also use this email if you’d rather not speak to anyone.

Below is a screenshot from twitter user @/_akeshu_, who finally got a hold of someone from Square using the number listed earlier. If Square does go through with what they said here, that’d be a huge breakthrough for the whole community and people who have been assaulted by Quinton Flynn.

If Square Enix doesn’t go through with looking through the evidence and firing this guy in the process, we still have a voice. Individually we all have a voice and we want to make this situation known, we can’t let this issue die out or be swept under the rug until the victims have the closure they need.

While this is happening please keep in mind that you DON’T have to separate yourself from the characters this man voice acted for. Voice actors come and go, and the characters he played are NOT HIM. You can still enjoy Kingdom Hearts, you can still love Axel as a favorite character, any character he might have played. Give respect to their original VAs, like Keiji Fujiwara. Keiji Fujiwara was known for his roles as Ardyn Izunia from Final Fantasy XV, Axel/Lea from Kingdom Hearts, Leorio from the 2011 HxH, and MewTwo from the Pokemon Series! Just don’t let Quinton Flynn build his own platform, don’t let this man have any power, don’t let him walk around a free man. He deserves to be held accountable for everything he has done, we need to make sure we get this monster out of the voice acting industry before he hurts anyone else.

Curious question but when creators deactivate their blog, they would loose everything they’ve built up for years ans there’s no way to undo it? I just realized one of my fav blogs have deactivated today and I’m still crying about it. They were extremely sweet and talented and so I’m just so worried as to what happened to them to make that kind of decision? Is it general hate that gets creators this way or is it just disatisfaction with their own works?

I actually love that you asked this question. So while I think both of things can be reasons fir many people, I don’t think these are usually the deciding factors. I have wanted to delete many times, once for the ridiculous amount of hate I was getting but all the other times have been for a completely different reason.

First of all, no one owes creators interaction and I get that. However, you should interact with us. Not only does it encourage us, make our day, and keep us positive with our work... it’s just nice to see someone cares behind just the content we push out.

Interaction is not just sending anons, it’s reblogging our fics with tags like “this was really good!” Or even just “ahdhsjja wow love”. 9times out of 10 the interaction that makes me the happiest is a reblog with tags. Just today I sent a screenshot of tags someone added to my fic to my friends because I was so excited! I’ve shared several posts about how interaction is really the make or break of writers. If you don’t interact, and are a silent reader, you are important to us too. We love you and the likes you leave. But, it does us no good to not at least get a reblog with an encouraging note added. (But also I love anon interaction personally so send those when you can!)

Second, sometimes you’re just too tired and lose inspiration. Personally I will continue writing forever, but who knows if I’ll actually share it. For many of us the sharing it part is less important than writing. I didn’t do this for attention or popularity. I just wanted to thirst and write and share my work because others might enjoy it. I could do that all on my own, of course. But once you start getting notes it is exciting and you want to keep getting them. Then this is where hate comes in I think. People demanding I write something for them (for free!) or getting upset I refused a request is extremely disrespectful and disappointing. Hence why I only take commissions for hxh because the anons and readers can be truly insane at times and has made me feel very very uncomfortable in the fandom.

Third, life is busy and sometimes you need to cut ties with something taking up time. For example, if I get into grad school and start teaching 3 full classes rather than just the one small class I have now... I will not have time to be on this blog the way I have this year. We have busy lives and sometimes your passions become a second job and it drains you slowly. This is actually probably the more likely reason people deactivate (but personally I still think the first reason I gave, interaction is the silent killer for most creators).

My last words on this: personally, if I were to deactivate the only thing I feel like I’d lose is a follower count. That’s it. I don’t get tons of interaction and often wonder why I’m wasting my time on this site. I have all my work saved in a drive, my friends and mutuals contacts, and passion in writing without sharing it.

I think most people feel this way. When creators feel under appreciated, irrelevant, or simply like there’s no point... the only thing they lose is that follower count.

AND. One more thing. Yo I really hate to be obnoxious, but Yougei’s legacy...I don’t even want to compare your legacies, because it’s a shitty thing to do, but they are NO. LESS. IMPORTANT. Seriously, I don’t know their social media @s, but please tell them that they are one of my favourite hxh artists, because so many ppl are focused on 2011 Chrollo and that makes them forget that he’s a TINY. SWEET CHEEKED. LONG LASHED. BABY BRAT. And their Hisoka is...so fucking Hisoka, I have one of my spotify playlists wearing their art (tagged, obviously), that one painting where his hair and lips are blue, his skin is white but with lavender-and-yellow hues, eyes hard-lidded, burning flames of white gold. Ah and my Kuroillu playlist has their art as a cover too, because I’ve already said that their Chrollo is the most canon Chrollo I’ve ever seen but THE WAY THEY DREW ILLUMI??? Honestly. No words. Still a banger, will always be a banger for me. Ye. Yougei are great. Their legacy is something Imma support and cherish till the day I lose interest in HxH haha.

I’m back!

Upon my return from China, I noticed there were a lot of things weighing me down... that I can just throw the fuck out.

I could expound upon all of these in great detail, but it really would be pointless. And I wouldn’t be able to cover it all anyway. So instead I’ve decided to make a post of every icon I’ve used for my online persona over the years.

The reason for this is... at the end of the program I attended, we had an entire week of silent meditation. We weren’t allowed to talk or communicate with anyone in any way, including gestures, eye contact, or physical touch. So, during this time I had the realization that the stories I’ve been interested in have been my main source of comfort over the years. No person, place, or thing has felt more permanent to me than this.

However, permanence is an illusion, as the Buddhists say (I stayed in a Buddhist monastery in China, in case you’re wondering). My interests have changed over the years -- from the first fandoms I got obsessed with, to my interests now. I may still adore the series that I enjoyed as a child, but definitely not in the same way.

Coming home, I realized... I no longer want to attach my identity to one character or series. That’s why I’ve decided to make this post. I want to reflect on all the egos of my past, on what they have meant to me, so that I can let them go. I’ve been clinging to a folder of them for too long.

To anyone who’s been here since the very start of my blog, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. This is an acknowledgement of my transformation from then until now.

And so:

Breadward Elric. My first Internet icon, which I had for 2 and a half years from May 2011 -- 2013. My blog was originally entirely FMAB content, created in January of 2012, and while this format didn’t last the entire time that I had this icon, Breadward saw me through the majority of my early anime and video game obsessions. He jump-started my personality on the Internet as a fanfic author, a blogger, and an artist. I will never forget him... ;~;

Comrade Führer Tamama. I had this icon for 8 months in early 2013 -- early 2014. What can I say? Tamama’s passionate personality resonated with me, especially when he was finally able to be in control (in the episode this particular screenshot is from). Gotta get those cola oceans pronto!

Yokoso waga tainai e [Welcome to my Womb ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)]. I had a phase during the summer of 2014, okay. But I still love this maniacal snake’s crusty ass, fite me. I admire KagePro immensely for the popularity and development it gave characters in song format. Of course, favorite of those characters was Kuroha, a snake whose only desire was to keep granting wishes so that he could survive. Add a touch of murderous intent and you have the complete package -- I won’t deny he appealed(appeals) to my wild side -- okay moving on.

KeroTama hugge 👀. I had this icon for about 4-6 months in 2014 before the Hunter x Hunter phase hit. God, I shipped them so hard *facepalms* It was funny though, it’s like KagePro hit me like a hurricane during this summer and then I went right back to being KeroTama trash. Amazing.

Softly Smiling Pika. I kept this icon for at least 9-10 months at the end of 2014 -- early 2015, until I found Owari no Seraph. Kurapika was definitely my bae at the start of my HxH phase -- and in many ways he still is. The current arc gives me this sense of nostalgia of being a 15-year-old again, deeply in love but too in denial to see it. Watching him as a young adult, I see how far I’ve come, how I could have ended up... since I believed myself to be most closely alike with Kurapika at the time. And now I know that’s not the case... I remember debating between many other Kurapika icons and finally choosing this one because I dearly wanted to believe I too could find my happiness in the friends around me, even if it seemed all was hopeless behind the scenes.

Yuu babe. I had this icon for 4 months in the middle of 2015, I remember. Yuichiro Hyakuya was an underappreciated dorky genius at the time, much like how Gon is in HxH now, except... Now in the series... *deep sighs* *clenches fist* I still love his piercing citrine eyes and the dynamism of this icon/pose though.

Cuties T^T (MikaYuu edition). Mmm I kept this icon for a while, something like most of 2016, at least 6-8 months, probably more like 9 or 10. Looking back, I still wonder how/why the author was a fucking coward and didn’t make MikaYuu happen. We coulda had it aaallllll...... Anyway, this is when I was writing Ebony & Ivory, my most popular fic to date, so I was reveling in the reputation I gained from that. This icon was me accepting that while I was no longer friends with my best friend from middle school to 11th grade, I would still pursue my own happiness in the perfect relationship that I saw in MikaYuu. *nods* It’s fitting.

Caught Child². I shared this and the next couple of icons with a friend that I met online, who used the Gon equivalent. I think we shared this one for about 3 months of 2016. This is when I became re-obsessed with Hunter x Hunter and realized how much I had changed between 2014 and 2016. It’s an obsession that’s more or less carried onto now, and redefined my adulthood, as I see my progression as I refer back to HxH for guidance to this day.

Content Chompy Boye. I love this icon. I kept this icon for a long time, something like 5-6 months in December 2016 -- mid-2017. The colors of the background contrast with Killua’s white hair, pale skin, and dark muscle shirt... I still used this icon on other websites until just a few days ago (when I most recently changed my icon) because I thought it looked the best backdropped against the format of other websites. I love this scene in the series, though; while (human) Palm is chattering on about her worry that Gon and Killua will be able to defeat Knuckle and Shoot in time, Killua continues to eat without a care in the world. It’s a mood I feel at least once a day, whether while eating or getting a back massage -- as if that ever happens -- 11/10.

Pizza Devil Brat. I like this icon a lot and kept it on a few websites for longer too, but with the way I edited it, the green background becomes a little too headache-inducing if you stare at it too long, so 8/10 -- okay no more out of 10 ratings, this isn’t that kind of post. I believe I kept this icon for about 3-4 months in 2017 and possibly early 2018 as well. From the same scene the previous Kurapika icon came from, this remains one of my favorite scenes in the entire series for its serious undertones over the light happiness that underlies Gon’s, Killua’s, and Kurapika’s (and Leorio’s -- but he’s not in this scene) interactions with each other throughout the series.

Grumpy Gem Gremlin. I was sharing the last three icons with that friend, including this one, with the Phos equivalent (more or less). I think we only kept it for about a month or month and a half in 2017 or beginning of 2018 before switching to the next one. Cinnabar’s desire for a purpose and closeness to others despite her poisonous nature... is definitely something I can understand and relate to.

Sad Gem Child. Damn, I think we’re all still waiting for the day Gormie realizes Aechmea’s a creepy sugar daddy and dropkicks his ass into the ocean where the Admirabilis can decompose his cloudy body like he doesn’t deserve. When will Land of the Lustrous return from the war? I’m still waiting, Ichikawa. Anyway I think we kept this icon for about a month or maybe two in 2018, not long at all.

Gay Childe™. Look, this is one of the gayest scenes in the entire series and it’s right after my favorite episode(s)/scene(s) in the entire series (so far) and it’s not even acknowledged by anyone. Just. Holy Fuck. Anyway I think I kept this icon for about 6-8 months to cap off 2018. And this is where the Big Breakup happened, where my friend decided to choose an icon that deviated from mine, but I kept this icon for a lot longer due to what this scene means to me, placed after/during my favorite episode. ;v;

And finally, BoMH (Blood on My Hands) Pika. I used this icon for 8 months from the start of 2019 until just a few days ago (approx. 8 months). This icon was originally the cover for a Kurapika fic that I started back in 2015 and ended up discontinuing because it was pretty slow-paced, and thus unpopular, which made it become difficult for me to write. But I got all the way up to 97k words before I quit, simply because of the freedom and joy I felt in creating all the OCs that I fit into Kurapika’s journey as he searched for the Kurta eyes after the Yorknew City Arc. Looking back, I’m proud of the planning and commitment that I succeeded in undertaking with this fic -- it was about halfway done by the time I stopped writing it -- and I feel I want to return to this concept one day. Even if the arcs were pretty formulaic at times and, well, boring, I wanted this icon at the start of 2019 to be a new person separate from my recent past matching icons; a representation of my ability to reconnect with my past, but to no longer be afraid of it; to be proud of it, but still recognizing the not-so-good parts, laying it to rest by no longer avoiding it.

My icon now, as I’m sure you can see... is nothing like those I’ve used thus far. I definitely have no intention of moving away from anime or my past. I simply wish to redefine who I am in relation to them, rather than being defined by them.

...I’ve discovered a lot about myself over the past 2 years since college started, more than I ever thought possible. I discovered a lot while in China, too. And I need my online persona to reflect that in every form, as I’ve done every time there was a change.

Metal Bat

Favorite thing about them: UGH EVERYTHING. Oh my gosh. He's just such a great character. 💞 For something specific, I'd have to say how tough and hard headed he is. (Literally, LOL) He's such a great hero for being as strong as he is. And of course...his pompadour. It's a cute pomp, and I absolutely love pomps and the whole Japanese delinquent look. (Badd actually made me discover that his whole character is My Type. That's why I love so many of them in other things! Like Knuckle from HxH!! 😳 A huge weakness of mine.) Oh, and I love his voice. Wataru Hatano does a phenomenal job voicing him.

Least favorite thing: Even though ONE and co have given us plenty of him in general, there's still so little of him. Especially him and his sister. And no merch!!! I would die for a Badd nendoroid! 😭 (Or even the keychain I saw, but it's only sold in a huge box set in Japan. The box set does look cool though.) I just wish there was more merch for him like Saitama and Garou. I'll make things myself if I have to! :'0

Favorite line: "Fuck reasons, it's fighting spirit!" Or maybe "Whenever I'm pumped up, I can handle anything."

brOTP: I feel like him and Zman are great friends through the HA. 💓 He could be good friends with Saitama and Genos too.

OTP: I don't really ship him with anyone.

NOTP: I can see the appeal of him and Garou, but I'm not too into it at all. I enjoy seeing everyone's art of them though.

Random HC: He is a really good singer. I actually think about this a lot!! But I imagine him singing to himself, or humming while he's at the house with Zenko all the time, especially when he's in a good mood. He'd shrug it off if someone told him he was good though. "Eh...'m not that good." 💓 Another huge one is he does girl stuff with Zenko of course. He would go shopping with her, take her out for ice cream and everything. He definitely would do things like paint her nails and fix her hair for her. (Zenko does the same for him when he can agree to it!) And if anyone said a word about it to tease or make fun, he gets pissed even though he doesn't care at all what they say or think. He just tells them to fuck off.

Unpopular opinion: He's actually smarter than he looks. Not a straight A student or anything, but he's definitely smarter than what his intelligence is on the scale.

Song I associate him with: For a favorite Japanese song of mine, it's either I Give You My... or Never be too late by Wataru Hatano. Those songs are just so soothing and sweet, I love them a lot. Never be too late is such a cute song, he sounds like he's having fun singing it.

Favorite thing about them: He dresses so nice! From what I've seen, he's always in his suit or dress shirts. And I love how passionate of a cook he is. Even having that quirk where he always has his hands in his pockets. He's a fun, funny character.

Least favorite thing: I don't have anything at the moment.

Favorite line: I don't have a specific one, but I've heard my love talk about how he says something along the lines of "if someone is hungry, they need food." He will always offer food to anyone because he doesn't want them to go hungry, and it's really sweet.

brOTP: Him and ZORO, oh my gosh. And him and Luffy of course.

OTP: I don't have one.

NOTP: None that I can think of.

Random HC: His hands are actually very cracked due to how much he washes his hands, so he has to make extra care of them. (Wow this was out of nowhere, but it was the only thing that I could come up with LOL)

It was a normal (or was it?) day. The alarm on the boy's phone rang loudly, and he woke up.

Two hours late. It was a Monday.

Too tired to care, he fell back down to his bed and went on his phone. He opened Twitter and was shocked to spot the #1 trending hashtag:

He rejoiced, opening it to find millions of tweets without any context. After ignoring various fancams that made him lose hope in the current situation, he stumbled upon a thread explaining the current situation.

“#DojaCatIsOkAgainParty : A THREAD <3” The first tweet twote, accompanied with four pictures: One of Doja Cat herself, one of Nicki Minaj, another of whoever becomes the next US president, and Lana Del Rey. What the hell is going on?

“As we all know, Doja Cat, Beyoncé, and many other artists have somehow been cancelled by Lana Del Rey within a week in May of 2020,” Okay… “This is due to Lana's satanic powers.” Oh, okay. Yeah, this was the same account who said that Avril Lavigne has a clone. Who was part of the CIA. Sure, man, whatever.

“At 3:56 AM today, Doja Cat had kidnapped [insert 46th president here] and escorted him to a secondary location. Then, Nicki stabbed the shit outta him. This has caused the America fandom to go insane.” what. “Lana was behind this. As we all know, she and Jessie J had hacked into The Pentagon and made Beyonce Knowles president, for clout.” what.

He put down his phone, questioning what the hell Stan Twitter was on now. The boy approached his cat, Sawblade, who was sleeping on the floor. Sawblade yawned dramatically and circled the boy's legs. He picked her up and laid her onto his bed.

“kwjdkwjjrjrjrkjwkjwjrkj” The cat purred. His phone buzzed. It was a notification from PlayStation Messages. He opened it, eager to know if one of his friends finally wanted to play multiplayer with him.

“#0.00 NULL$$ - Hello PLAYSTATION user! We at NULL HQ politely invite you to join us in making the world a better place one job at a time. Kindly go to this location and sign up for one of our many job offers! No résumé needed, only experience, hard work, and an interview and a fitness test! We hope to see you soon!”

Oh, a scam. He took a screenshot of the text, and then immediately blocked and reported the user, NULL000000. Huh, odd username. Whatever, he's not gonna reply–

Okay, enough of that. No more. Please. Three hours have passed, and he's still very confused, if not even more confused than before. Is there some sort of event today that he missed? Why is every single tweet weird? Is all this real? Is he in a parallel universe? Is he dead?

The boy zoned out into the bedroom wall, thinking of all the possibilities of this happening. He was lost in his imagination, his train of thought splitting and exploding due to all the unusual occurrences. That was, until Sawblade voiced out her needs.

“YEEEEEEHEHEA” she yelled. She was starving, mainly because the last time she ate was like, a whole hour ago. Sad.

“Ye lah,” “Mew,” “Meow meow mew mew mew,” The boy meowed as he dragged himself to fill up his cat's bowl. “chyouooyoymeeeiielll,” he complimented, ruffling the cat's face.

The boy tripped over his Form 3 activity book as he was walking, a reminder that he should probably do his homework soon. He turned the doorknob and opened the door and he was shocked to find that his house…

Had been ripped in half.

He pushed his back against the wall and slowly inched along the wall towards the kitchen, staring down into the abyss below the house. The living room had a sofa missing, and the television looked like it was going to fall down any second. Furniture floated in the void below the floorboards, which was bent, with plumbing pipes exposed, as well as the metal rods holding the house together.

It reminded him of what Sanctuary looked like when it was floating in space in Borderlands 2. But instead of a city, it was a condominium unit. And instead of Lilith lifting it up, it was… unknown. If only he could gunzerk, or have siren powers, or be a ninja sniper assassin, or have a turret, or have a giant mech, or be super tall and have a buzz-axe. If only. But thank God there's no Mordecai. To hell with Mordecai. I hate Mordecai. He's the most straightest man. Ever. Claptrap is less straight than him. HANDSOME JACK is less straight than him. R O L A N D is CLEARLY less straight than him. Mordecai is the epitome of heterosexuality.

Thankfully, the boy reached the kitchen safely, but still very full of anxiety, and poured the cat food into a flat container, since Sawblade is so fluffy, her face can't fit in cat bowls. He emptied the water bowl, cleaned it, and filled it with filtered water, making sure it's slightly cooled. Sawblade likes it that way. As she cronched on the kibbles, he stared into the distance, wondering what his apocalypse name would be.

He grabbed a glass of water and a packet of muffins for his breakfast. As he ate it, he scrolled through his timeline as if it was the morning paper. Oh, Katy Perry gave birth to twelve kids. And Gowon killed X Æ A-Xii. With a machete. Ok. That's cool, I guess. Capitalism, y’know?

As the boy was eating, he noticed the front door to the house was missing. The entrance lead to what seemed like the side of the street. In a foreign place. The lamppost was unfamiliar, and so was the pavement design. It seemed rather American.

He peeked his head out, and lo and behold, he spotted a pet shop just a couple of feet away. The sudden shock of all this made him forget about his cat, an indoor cat, a curious one. Sawblade stepped slowly outside, and as she went into the boy's view, he stormed to catch her, panicking and swearing profusely.

Of course, this made her way more terrified, and she ran faster, and… into the ajar door of the pet shop. “SAWBLADE!!! DON'T!!” he yelled loudly as he stopped in front of the building. The boy paused, unsure whether to proceed or retreat.

“Russell Family Pet Store, since 1965” wrote a large sign on the front. It looked rustic, but well-kept. The blinds were drawn, so the boy couldn't see what was inside. The building occupied two lots, and seemed to be two storeys tall. A nice rooftop garden was situated on top of it, and there were painted-over remnants of many posters plastered onto the walls. The walls were now coated with light brown paint. This building was surely cared for by a variety of owners.

Although hesitant, the boy stepped into the store, his hands shaking. He could've probably pass out right then and there if he wasn't searching for Sawblade. He sneaked into the building quietly, determined to get his cat and run like hell right after. However, his ideal plan was quickly foiled after he stepped on a squeaky toy.

“Shit, who's there?” A deep voice asked. It seemed like it belonged to someone tall, depressed, and very angry about capitalism. The boy was stuttering, both from the panic of being caught, and also because he had to speak to a native English speaker. “Probably just the delivery guy,” A second voice assured. This voice seemed quite hard to guess, but it was surely a kind one. Very trustworthy. “Jed, is that you?” The kind voice added. Yeah, these two are totally friendly. Probably. Don't take any chances, though.

A figure approached the boy, and it towered above him. The 5'9" hulking beast stopped. “Oh, sorry, we're closed. It's Judgment Day,” the kind man said. Well, of course it's judgement day. Why wouldn't it be judgement day? “Wait, no, I'm an idiot. Martin Luther King Jr’s day.” The man corrected. “How the hell do those two even remotely sound like each other?” The first voice said, the owner sitting behind the counter, shadowed.

“M-My cat's here.” “Have y-you sa-see-sawn her?” The boy was actually very fluent in English, even more than Malay, but the panic he was experiencing kind of absolutely extirpated any knowledge of it from his brain. Really, dude? “Sawn”? What is this, Texas?

Fortunately the two were understanding. The man behind the slau– counter stood up suddenly. “Holy shit, do you speak Spanish? Habla español?!” He asked excitedly. “No, why would I–? I'm Malay, dumbass,” the boy retorted, then realising that he just insulted someone much older than he was and that was… kinda rude. “WAIT SORRY” he blurted out, sending him back into the panic that he was under when he entered the store.

“HUH?! No, I’M sorry, I just assumed you were South American just because you couldn't speak English!” The man yelled, apologizing loudly. Yeah, this dude's sure as hell white. “I CAN!!! WHERE'S MY CAT!!!” The boy shouted back, very confused at where his priorities should be right now. “Oh!” said the man in front of him.

“IS THIS HIM– SORRY, HER?!” The man asked, reaching towards the corner. “We, uh, found her just straight-up running into here. Which is really weird, since cats, like, don't do that,” he said, holding Sawblade. Senang cita. “YES!! THANK YOU!!” The boy yelled. Why is everyone yelling?

Sawblade looked comfy all snuggled up in the man's arms. “He… seems to like you,” The boy said jealously. Usually, he was the one Sawblade loved most. “I have ten cats, so,” The man replied casually. “…How? Even?” he questioned as he carefully took Sawblade from the stranger. “I just do?”

The boy still remained very confused. “Name's Aaron, by the way. Please don't call me Ay-Ay-ron. Just… please,” the kind man said. “Ok” the boy replied. “Mine's. Um. Uh.” “…” The boy thought whether to say his real, legal one, or the one he went with online, which he seemed to prefer way more than his real one. “THE NAME'S DENNIS RUSSELL. I SHARE MY INITIALS WITH A VIDEO GAME.” The white guy said, interrupting the boy's statement. “Oh. Good to know. Hi, Mr. Danganronpa,” The boy politely said. “Fuck yeah,” replied Dennis.

“And if you're wondering which one of us is part of the Russell family that's running this shop,” Dennis began, “Den, don't,” Aaron interrupted. “It's my family. But, my dad became a magician, and my dad's choosing to indulge in his gardening hobby here, so the job's passed down to me now,” Aaron said.

“G//ay Ass!” Dennis shouted. “Okay, fine, Dennis, since we got married last month, you're part of the Russell family, too, honey,” Aaron said. “Just don't–” “YEEEEEHAAWWEE PARDNER WELCOME TO YE OLDE RYUSSELL PEYT SHYOP–” Dennis yelled loudly enough to give the boy a heart attack. However, this was probably the tenth time this week he did this, so Aaron was just very tired. “Jesus.”

“Um, what is this place?” The boy was still very much confused on why there was a pet shop sitting in front of his house, which was ripped in half. “I just told you…” Dennis said disappointedly. “No, like, where am I? Why are you guys American? I'm assuming? I'm not?” The boy said. “Well, our pet shop's in Toledo; Toledo, Ohio,” Aaron stated, gesturing towards a pile of papers. “If you're lost, we have some maps, some phone books…” he continued, unaware of the current situation.

“No, I live in Selangor, so– Selangor, Malaysia, not Ohio, out of all places, God, no, and my house is right over there,” the boy argued, pointing outside. “Well, half of it,” The two pet shop workers stood at their places, trying to process what the hell this kid just said. “Like? There? Outside this gracious state that occupies the #2 spot for most arson cases in the US? That's Malaysia?” Dennis shot back, also unaware. The boy was a bit excited after hearing him mention the name of his country, but shook it off to further develop the conversation. “Yes. Somehow. Also, I really don't think this is Ohio. Too many buildings and I haven't seen any corn fields,”

“Didja know there's over 75,000 farms in this 14-million acre state? There are, ya just gonna know where to look :)” Dennis stated. “What the hell? That's way too many farms. How does… what…” The boy replied in shock, almost dropping Sawblade. “I'm sorry, what?” Aaron asked. “Yup! Lotta farms in the buckeye state!” Dennis replied excitedly.

“HALF?!” “Of it??” It seemed like Aaron was the only one there actually concerned about the task at hand. “Huh? Oh yeah. Not really that big of a deal, though, honestly; enough food here for thirteen weeks,” How the boy calculated that, and how accurate it is remains a mystery. “Anyway, how do state fairs work? Like, do corn dogs taste good? I've had deep-fried Oreos once, they tasted really good. Really love 'em,”

Aaron ignored the exchange by the two very excited individuals and opted to step out to see if the boy was right or not. In his head, he was honestly convinced he wasn't, but that was up for change. Hell, he didn't even look at his phone or the TV today, so maybe the kid's right, his house is snapped in half.

Oh, it is.

“Holy shit, Denny, come look,” he yelled, gesturing to his husband. “Okay! I hope the aliens aren't homophobic or anything! :)” Dennis replied, running eagerly to the door. “HOT DAMN!” Dennis shouted. Now the boy could see how they both looked like, especially Dennis.

Dennis was definitely over six feet tall, he had balding, spiky red hair, and his eyes were big and sunken, and had bags under them. Aaron, on the other hand, had only seemed tall because of his hair. Aaron was missing a tooth for some reason. His lower-left fang. That's weird. They were both sporting uniforms; an orange shirt covered by a green vest with the logo of the pet shop sewn near the… like the… the end of it but like in the front? Like the middle? But like the logo was on the side. Yeah

“I don't think aliens are homophobic. Have you played Borderlands? Lots of g/ay people, and they're all technically aliens. I think the aliens are g//ay,” the boy explained thoughtfully. “I have, at my friend's house this one time, but then I died and I had to, like, pay, so then I just left his house, man,” Aaron replied. “Yeah, that's fair, usually I just save and quit whenever I die,” the boy added.

“Wait, what's your name, again? This whole time, you're being referred to as ‘the boy,’” Dennis asked, breaking the fourth wall. “Shrek,” the boy replied. The two men nodded in solidarity. “Good name,” Aaron complimented. “It reminds me of my childhood, and good times, and Shrek-flavored Oreos,” he added.

Shrek paused for a bit, hesitant to tell them his preferred name, but saying it anyway because they both seem quite nice and understanding, also, his family's not there. “I'm kidding. Shrek is but only my middle name,” Shrek explained, “Please, call me…”

“Damon,”

Gender euphoria ran through his veins like that one time Thanos put on the infinity gauntlet and he was AAAAAGH, P O W E R,,, HNGGH, that but Yeah. “Cool! Hi, Damon!” Dennis said, watching Damon's eyes burn with joy. Oh, just saying, like in some more volumes, this little kid turns into a pyromaniac, so. Yeah. Watch out for that. This is Foreshadowing.

Aaron scanned the horizon, unknowing what the hell was happening. “Hey, guys, should we… go investigate or something?” Damon thought for a bit, but not too much because this thing going on seemed too random to properly scan and plan. “Um, I don't know,” he said wisely, “Did you guys hear about that thing with, like, Nicki Minaj and the president? Were you guys affected or whatever?”

“With who and what? Nick– NICKI?? THE PRESIDENT?? OF HERE?? WHATEVER THIS THING IS???” Dennis struggled to figure out what Damon was saying. “Yeah, she stabbed him or something. Doja Cat helped too :)” Damon explained, confusing the two even more. “Why?” Aaron tried. “I dunno. Drama?” “Heard Lana's involved too… but you didn't hear it from me, yeah?” Damon added.. “THE COW GIRL. HELPED NICKI. AND LANA. ASSASSINATE THE PRESIDENT. DAMON.”
