magic swap au lucy designs <3 (please tell me which one u ppl like the most)

i was going to do a few more but im too impatient aha + i think these all are quite established different types of designs and i want people to tell me which ones they like because i need to know which design fits the best + the different elements that suit it more :) 

also if its not obvious this au is natsu and lucy magic swap which means lucy would have natsus magic (not in the weird ooc lucy is op way though)

thought process below cuz it might be a bit long

I wanted imagery to focus on around her being a fire dragon slayer because usually she shines in her outfits with her stars and space aesthetic with some of her designs and I wanted to be able to do that but obviously without the stars because she would grow up with her fire magic being part of her personality hypothetically. The best way I wanted to do that was with the sun imagery and patterns in her designs and i hope it came across okay !

i tried to go a few different ways with the types of outfits and certain aesthetics and i referred to natsu’s aesthetic and fashion a tiny tiny bit but not too much because i wanted lucy’s personality to show more through her outfits. I also tried to reference the type of fashion that was used in the early arcs in ft because it was 2000s type fashion (thats more for design #2) 

I used a lot of ruffles and big sleeves because a few of her outfits have those and it suits her. I also realise i used a lot of bows/ribbons and god im sorry i love ribbons and bows dont kill me </3

other than that shes also wears heels and skirts often so I used those for most designs but also some without for a bit of variation (also lucy doesn’t wear heels everytime so I wanted to keep it authentic)

Also keep in mind I was thinking she would still be brought up in her fancy rich lifestyle and since i was keeping it to an early arcs lucy I thought to try and have that show through a little bit? Idk

not only the whole being freaky with lance when she was 12 and he was 16, but also just the fact that she is purely a plot device. her entire character is just "im lancelots lover!!" and thats it- even when shes with arthur, im damn sure that all of that could have been shown to the reader without the need for her. her personality is so grating and the whole seeing into the future just unnecessary in my opinion and just gives us spoliers: lite version,,,,

just at least make her have a personality and ambitions aside from lancelot and "i already knew this was gonna happen hahaha" grrrrrrr

i simply.. do not believe yandere!katsuki would be able to put up with me for very long.

i’d be accepting bc i like being taken care of.. until he realizes how high maintenance i am.

i would spend his money on the essentials (skincare, haircare, perfumes, plushies for our bed.. etc..)

and spend hours doing all that even though i’m not going out, like our shower rack is 99% my shampoo and curly hair products and scented soaps.. our bed has plushies and i have a whole section of our closet dedicated to my perfume collection.

i’m like too touchy/clingy and i feel like he’d want his space for a while and like i’d annoy him really bad UGHHH..

My golly. I absolutely adore it when a yandere doesn't know what exactly they've gotten themselves into. When they finally realize that they've idolized you to the point of not even knowing who you are anymore, only for it to be too late for them to go back in time and prevent it all from going this way.

It's hard to say if Bakugo was expecting you to come to terms with being captive so quickly. He was definitely prepared for resistance, prepared for a lot, really, 'cuz when is he not........? But I don't think he's ever prepared for how easily you fall into a routine with him, and how quickly it turns out that it's less about him, and romance, and falling in love as is it just........... coming to terms with a life you weren't able to choose for yourself.

It's sad because... if he had only courted, asked, waited for you to love him the regular way, taking you on dates and kissing you softly, things would've been so different for your relationship, so genuine and so sweet; exactly what he longed for even if you were still high maintenance.

But to experience it all in the way that he does, with you at his mercy and his credit card at yours... shocks him. He buys you and lets you buy things at first because he feels bad, and watching you pick at the lint of your bed sheets with literally nothing of your own in the house makes his heart ache. Yandere!Bakugo is possessive and desperate, not cruel, and what is a relationship if not filling the home together?

But what he doesn't realize (at first, at least): it's not things you want, but... luxury. A good quality of life. You know the only thing you can hope for is a comfortable house since he's the one who made everything else painful.

Besides, it's hard for him to touch you if your hair product needs to soak to properly work. It's hard to feel like the sex is real and intimate when you prefer to do your fourteen-step shower routine first, or if your bed has to be clear of all your toys and expensive, sherpa blankets and decorative pillows. He can't take take you on dates even if he does buy you fancy clothes... because it's his fault your "missing" poster is plastered all over the streets of Mustafu in the first place.

And by the time you are ready to cuddle him, cling to him, maybe even kiss him on the mouth... it's not because you changed your mind about loving him, it's because he left you no other choice.

(AKA: he got exactly what he wanted... but he didn't realize how much it was going to cost. Literally and metaphorically.)

Unpopular opinion but I'm on my third attempt to watch love and redemption and I still didn't have enough patience to get through more than ep 3 :(

This is actually the main reason why I only go into mysterious lotus casebook around last month. No hate to cheng yi, I enjoy his visual like any other but its the matter of among his past drama, I can never finish one. Love and redemption, I repeatedly push it back, something in that drama trigger my patience. Maybe its the overly naive borderline dumb female lead, maybe its the slow pace, maybe its the colour, I'm not sure! All the same with immortal samsara, except for that one, I probably will never going back to try again. I've seen mysterious lotus casebook's poster since the very first time it released and immediately put it on the middle tier of my watchlist (one that I probably watch if I'm bored enough with my life). Still, the drama just kept popping up into my recomendation but not until my friend say it's "quite good" I finally start to watch. She is a big cheng yi fans tho, so I'm not fully convinced at first, a total big zero expectation. With all her screaming about I will come out of that being a cheng yi fans and will finally have enough mental power to push through love of redemption, I actually watch it with "at least it have zeng shunxi.." mentality.

Well, big surprise, guess who got distracted with di feisheng (and his pretty eyelashes) since the first five minute? Me. It got worse from eps 5 and above. God knows how that man catch my eyes everytime he is on screen. And through him, I actually stay to enjoy the rest of the character. Hell, I even watch through the cringe survival show because apparently I need more xiao shunyao content after that.

So far, I can say li lianhua was the only cheng yi role that I can watch without the urge to write three pages rant. And I'm still not sure about love and redemption. Does it really good? At what point it got exciting? I kept seeing people say its really good, like the best xianxia of the year level of good. Maybe I want to believe that everytime I come back to give it a new try. But I found myself returning it back to the shelf each try too.

How Lore Council designed their Laurences outfits:

Fantomette: Yeah it makes sense for Laurence to wear Choir garb really good fanart everywhere 👍 I want to add red and more detail though because he also does blood when Choir only does eyes

Crow: I will make Laurence wear the clothes that are almost fully red because the anime character that inspired my design for him wears red but whoever rats me out will get closely familiar with my knives 🔪

Katy: Choir garb is starter reference bt is kind of strange if the head of the (church-inspired) organization wears the exact same clothes as his subordinates though? 🤔 Why would a leader look like just a generic Choir boy that forgot his hat? But on the OTHER hand, there are TWO upper echelons of the Healing Church, Choir and Mensis, and Micolash has no problem dressing up the same as other Mensis Scholars as we can see thanks to Damian? But also, it isn't even 100% given that Micolash is the "leader" in a normal sense, maybe he is just a chosen madman, besides is Laurence really associated with the Choir in this way if their style is 'cosmic' Insight and not holy blood? 🤔 If Micolash is responsible for Mensis then maybe Rom or Caryll were responsible for Choir, and then Laurence is responsible for both organizations AND blood ministration! He should look as the most important person, so unique outfit it is! BUT ON THE OTHER HAND the statue at Surgery Altar could very likely depict Laurence and that one does have the "bigger" variant of what Choir blindfold cap is! But also the robe depicted on this statue is unique, so I was right? BUT WAIT, it is sorta underwhelming in terms of design! It might be just one for blood ministration and ritual, rather than his main clothes. But also Research Hall existed before Choir and then BECAME Choir's base and Orphanage, maybe these were Laurence's clothes before the Choir formed and either he didn't live to that point or he did and THEN started wearing Choir garb? But still it probably should be altered, like have red instead of blue or be more elaborate and impressive because he is leader of the WHOLE Church, not just one faction, but Choir garb has a merit if Choir is more "public" than Mensis? But what if it fucking isn't? 🤔 Alright, I think all things considered unique outfit or "Choir garb but COOLER" are ideal, Surgery Altar likely depicts what he was wearing before Choir. BUT WAIT, WHAT IF ALL ALONG, THE STATUE-

is it an unpopular oppie (cute way of saying opinion) to think that stories with only 1 or 2 gender customisable LIs is kind of the way to go moving forward for choices 🧍

like the main issue ppl have been having seems to be the quality of the books n their subject matter, n the quantity of LIs won't fix that? back when it WAS the norm to have 3+ LIs per book every non-whiteman LI would get sidelined and treated like shit by the plot. at least now when the plot railroads you into spending more time w one LI u can choose their gender/appearance, and it's easier to split screentime equally between 2 LIs compared to for example 4

plus limiting it to less LIs allows the story more time to flesh out characters n ur relationships w them. it's easier to incoprorate LIs into the plot n make them important + impactful when there's less of them

OBVIOUSLY none of this is ideal and their whole business model is a bit garbáge, these are simply my thoughts !
