He's a very realistic character actually, but damn

general fong is great because he’s our first proper introduction of aang’s central quandary of whether it’s more important to choose power or love, to choose being the avatar or being an air nomad. in “the siege of the north” aang’s full capacity for divine vengeance and destruction is revealed to us, and we see that he could easily kill the firelord if he tapped into that power. and by the time he does fight ozai, the struggle isn’t whether or not he can beat him in a fight (it isn’t even a question), but whether he can hold back enough not to kill him. general fong is a more exaggerated caricature of people like sokka and zuko who pressure aang into killing ozai; or guru pathik, who wants aang to let go of his earthly attachments to attain cosmic power; or the avatars who tell him that being the avatar means giving up any one cultural value for the sake of the world. aang cannot enter the avatar state in this way, because it would be ethically and thematically wrong. aang needs to reach a place of enlightenment, true enlightenment, through his own cultural values, if he wants to end the war in a way that actually means something. and he cannot do that by force or through rage, by attempting to cut out pieces of himself or by sacrificing the values of his people. aang needs to be able to prove that his people did have a place in this world, and he cannot do that by discarding those values when it suits him. that is what makes him so uniquely fit to be the avatar: because he’s not just ridiculously powerful (even for avatar standards), but because he’s an air nomad through and through.

„Cross…“ you broke the silence in the car as he was driving like wild to escape from the decepticons that was hunting you two. But the only problem was..he was BAD injuried. You felt that how he jumped forward jerky every time.

He ignored you but he felt by himself he was getting weaker and weaker. He growled and drove into a forest. “Get out” he said harshly. You got out the car quickly as he transformed into a smaller form of him. He was almost human size but still taller than you. Your eyes got wide as you saw the big “cut” on the side of his waist and he was bleeding out of his mouth. You gasped softly and walked to him wanting to touch his hip softly. But as you wanted to do that he took a step back and pushed against his bleeding wound. “Cross..we need to stop the wound from bleeding..” your tone soft but worried as hell. “Nah! I am fine don’t need your help” he hissed. “Crosshairs…” you called his name touching his hip-bone looking into his eyes. “Your Energon is red.. you need to cool down. Sit down here on the tree” you told him and helped him sitting down on the felled lying tree. He hissed again. “I said I don’t need your help! Like back by barricade! you were just in the way! And see what happened!” He shouted then realizing what he said. You were just looking at him with hurt in your eyes. You felt tears building in your eyes. Then there was the sobbing. You started sobbing for actually…no reason?

He didn’t wanted to say that. Right?…

He was just frustrated because of the pain. Right!…?

You wiped your tears quickly away but they keept falling. You couldn’t stop them. You sobbed like a child. You looked at the dirty forest ground scared to look at him. He whispered and sweared in cybertronian something like; “fuck…no”.

His bloody hand touched your cheek softly brushing a hair string behind your ear. You felt the weakness in his softness touch. You looked at him. He had a face expression like he was also about to cry but didn’t. You wiped your cheeks quickly dry and took your jacket off to connect his wound so that he no longer loses much blood. He hissed in pain and grabbed the tree harshly. “I know.. I know just one more time” you told him pushing one last time against his wound. He growled in pain lifting his head back and biting his teeth together.

A warm hand was touching his neck. He looked at you “breathing” hardly and shakily.

“You’re an idiot crosshairs” you softly giggled while looking into his eyes again. He gave you a tired smile.

Then you both heard a helicopter. Hoping it was drift. Then hound and drift came to help the green mech get back home.

As everything calmed down and crosshairs got cared of you were sitting on the Terrace by grimlock reading your book/ checking your phone. You were so immersed in your book/phone that you didn't hear crosshairs as he sat down next to you. “Oh hey cross.” You lifted up laying your book/phone aside. He was looking on the ground not meeting your eyes.

Silence.

“I know you wanted to help..” he grumbled.

“But why are you getting In danger because of me!?” He asked.

“I don’t deserve that!”

“I don’t deserve … you…”

“Don’t you get it!?” He shouted looking at you.

You sat up harshly now you were the one that was yelling.

“Do you even know what you do to me!? I don’t want that you get in danger! Why!? Because I care about you! I fucking care about you!” You looked at him.

Those ocean eyes were looking at you as he just saw a shooting star for the first time.

“And then there these ocean blue eyes of yours! I always get lost in them! Everytime you look at me it’s hard to look away! That you don’t think that I am just a tiny human creep that stares at you! Don’t you get it!?

I love you!..” you shouted tears falling down your cheeks.

He sat up looking down at you looking into your beautiful eyes cupping your cheeks in his palms. “And you have magic in your eyes even the stars in space envied.“ he whispered.

You looked at him with wide eyes. Was THE crosshairs saying that? Was THAT crosshairs smiling lovely and softly at you? What is going on?!

As you tried to understand this moment his metallic smooth warm lips were pressed against yours. You kissed him of course back wrapping your arms around his neck.

As you pulled back you mumbled; “I thought you don’t like me.. because I am a human..”

“Yeah I’m by myself fascinated that I like a organic creature..” he shrugged.

You slapped his shoulder as he chuckled.

“And then a sexy one like you” he purred in your ear.

Omg i love him 😭
