I've just watched Dune 1 and then 2.
And lol.
At the first movie i was, damn, men are hot. Just hm yes.
And then at the entirety of the second movie, i was swooning over the female cast. Especially over the Bene Gesserit. We support manipulative and insane women in this blog <3

Look at me. Look me in the eyes. Incredibly important question to posit here.
If there was a Muppet version of Back to the Future which character would make for the funniest one to be the token human?
okay because I’m losing my MIND over this. On the one hand, it would be SO funny for Marty to be the human, on account of it would make his entire family muppets. Can you imagine. So much of the cast of these films is Marty’s blood relatives. Can you imagine Marty- human, still definitely Michael J. Fox Marty- at the McFly family dinner scene in the first movie and everyone is muppets. Can you imagine the Biff muppet being intimidating. Marty full on chucking the Tannen muppets across the room. Marty being grabbed by muppets and successfully stopped. Muppets throwing Marty in the trunk. Marty is tall for once in his life but at what cost. Think about Biff again because I can’t stop laughing.
On the OTHER hand, Doc being this mad fucking scientist in this town full of muppets and everyone thinks he’s crazy. You’ve got this one muppet, a little guy, wants to be a rockstar, and one day he approaches the mad scientist and they become best friends. Everyone thinks he’s crazy but it’s never about him being a human in a sea of muppets, they’re just “his science is too crazy”. As this six foot some man just towers over all of them. Can you imagine Doc just practically sitting to maintain eye contact with muppet Marty. Doc falls in love with the Clara muppet and they have muppet children. No one questions this. Doc having to operate a train that was sized for muppets to get them back to the future.
They’re both such stellar options I can’t even function, thanks so much for coming <3 let me know what you think because I’m just gonna keep laughing about this.

This wasn't great but this is my brand of Trash™️ so I loved it...😔💕
90% of this movie is literally just Rochester yelling and being a stupid dude bro but that's ok because boys'll be boys, y'know?😩

where'd you draw inspiration for T&TA and how long did it take you to comprise a legible script [a fellow, curious- and pretty young writer]
The most immediate inspirations for Time and Time Again were Jaws, Quantum Leap, and Psych. I grew up watching a ton of detective type shows and so there's a lot of background radiation in my brain taken up by those. I tend not to take much stock in inspiration though, and generally am comfortable just powerhousing through things (it's kind of what I went to school for). Inspiration happens when it happens, but if it doesn't, my work still needs to get done!
It took me about 7 months to write the first season, which is 4 complete stories. To be clear, though, I don't script! I outline major character events, and then I make about 100 more detailed outlines until I get to one that hits all the development points I want and feels interesting to me. This takes me weeks of writing sometimes 10+ pages a day, putting together boards with strings, etc. until I feel I've got an outline of events that I'm happy with!
I actually get to writing and finessing dialogue while I'm making thumbnails, and 1 episode can take me anywhere from a day to 2 weeks. The longest ones are when they're arguing, and I'm struggling with the minutiae of the implications of their words, where I want them both to be sympathetic without making their dialogue feel unnatural.
So, one complete arc takes me about 4-6 months from start to finish, I think.
My writing is at its best when I get to plan everything up front, and it's at its worst when I'm forced to deliver week-to-week and I can't see the whole story as it is. But, I've also been writing for a long time and I know myself and my process pretty well! Every writer is different, and some people need a lot more time than others. Let yourself relax, don't try to do things "the right way" because there is no right way. Just make stories! Make the process fun for you, and your skills will grow the more stories you tell. As long as you're having fun, the stories are serving their purpose.

I’m rewatching Wall-E (after six or seven years) and I’m starting to think that this robot sweetheart is single-handedly the only thing that set my impossibly high standards for relationships since I SPENT MY CHILDHOOD WATCHING THIS MOVIE.
He’s the OG mofo and if I met a person who’d act this gentlemanly and purely, I’d marry them without a second thought.

I just saw 10 things I hate about and immediately thought yeah , this is okay but what if we remove the messed up shit and make it andreil so it becomes prefect? Here's my idea
You know the drill, Katelyn wants to date Aaron but he can't date unless Andrew does because as always, those two are a little fucked up. Enter the only guy who isn't scared of Andrew : Neil. Now , in this universe I want Neil to be his unfiltered self, meaning that he accepts the money Kate gives him because that's what you do when people offer you free money, but he has no intention to go along with the plan. That's because 1 he is as demi as they come 2 he is an asshole but even he can see that making someone believe you fell for them and building a relationship with them just because you've been bribed is just cruel. So Neil won't date Andrew, instead he approaches him ,tell him the whole entire crazy truth about the situation, and proposes that the two share the money and start hanging out to get more money out of Katelyn. And Andrew, against his better judgement, is so fascinated by this unhinged pretty boy that he can't help but agree.
At this point everything is going great, Kate and Aaron are happy, Andrew and Neil are spending more and more time together, trading truths and falling in love. As always they both believe that the other would never reciprocate so they are pining for a while. And , before you ask yes, the scene where he sings for her in front of everybody and the cute date afterwards 100% happen for andreil too, because I say so.
Okay so everything is going great and Kate and Aaron want to go to prom so she pays Neil 300 dollars to make Andrew go as well ( I'm making Kate rich as fuck because otherwise I'd feel so bad for her, she's literally throwing money away). Neil obviously accepts and pretty much offers all the money to Andrew in the form of candy and ice cream and other stuff Andrew requests (Andrew is so smitten that he would go just because Neil asked, but the man has a reputation to uphold ).
What happens at prom and after in the movie doesn't really make sense for this au so I'm deciding that Andrew and Neil are completely bewitched by each other the entire night until they finally kiss and have their happily ever after.
