The men in B----- are so different from the men in A------. I've only been here for 3 days, well really only two since I came in so late on the first day.  I logged on as soon as I had my computer set up in my room. right off the bat, there were a few people interested in me. So many people liking my profile, messaging me.  That seemed pretty standard, however, since I was a new face and in a new place.  The surprising amount of men that were actually online at that time of night sent a message or two back and forth with me and I even made plans with a few of them. There were a few people who mysteriously disappeared after a few messages. it's unclear whether they blocked me cuz I didn't like what I had to say, or they ended up getting banned because they were a scammer.
the thing about the men here, though.  they're much more sentimental. or, at least they seem that way. much older men. many more men who are looking for a long-term Arrangement rather than a quick hookup. they're even a few men who, with the understanding that I'm  only here for a week, still want to try and make a long-term relationship last. I'm not opposed to this, if I really like the guy. I'm not opposed to it if I really need the money. All In all, the first night had mediocre success.
Over the course of the next day, I talked at length with a guy who said he would want to take me out that night. He honestly seems like a kind of an asshole.  His profile gets off douchebag vibes. He's incredibly condescending, won't hold a conversation unless he has the upper hand, I keep sending me links to Wikipedia articles  instead of Simply answering my questions. He said he was going to lunch with someone and that we can meet up afterwards. I told him I just wanted to go for a walk to look at all the leaves and take pictures to send to the People Back Home. he was acting really coy and aloof, so I didn't bring up sex or payment.  Insteadad, I meekly asked what we would be doing after the walk. He said dinner. I don't know if that meant dinner and sex  and therefore payment, or just dinner like some of these guys like to do. I took a nap and when I woke up, it was close to 6:00. Apparently his lunch had run that long and you changed his mind about seeing me.  he hasn't said anything to me today, so I guess I wasn't that interesting to him.
along with this guy, I'm at several other people that I added to my calendar. I texted so many guys my account was briefly marked as spam. All day Saturday was dedicated to catching up on sleep and chatting up These men. I tried to leave space at the end of the week, so they would actually have time to do things. but, so far, Sunday through Tuesday were completely booked.
but that's when I noticed how weird and clingy these men were. so many of them asked repeatedly to call me. I understand, this is a way to verify that the person you're talking to is real rather than a bot, but it is honestly unnerving to have an old man call you. I don't actually like these guys. I don't actually want to have a relationship with you. The men in A------ seem to understand that. they're not delusional that I actually like their profile because I liked them. especially if I had only been in A------ for a week. they would have never assumed that I wanted to be on the phone with him for an hour. Which is what happened with one guy. He was really insistent on us calling each other, kept saying it would only be a 5-minute long conversation. just a quick chat. Instead, he held me  captive on the phone for an hour.  I kept saying how I hadn't had dinner yet, how I needed to go, but he didn't care. It was also quite a difficult task trying to understand his accent over the grainy, disgusting sound of Bluetooth audio in the car.
He was the only one asking to talk, too.  There was a man who called me out of the blue, didn't even have to contact saved to my phone yet. He talked in a very creepy voice, very annoying, very nasally, also very condescending. These men are pretty awful at holding a conversation. the last few the most basic, small talk questions, then follow it up with the most explicit shit you've ever heard.  This man on the phone wanted to come over that night, which I wasn't opposed to, except that he wanted to only pay $140. Absolutely ridiculous. I offer 200. He said he would think about it.  It's now Sunday night and I haven't heard back from him.
it cost me $100 to get an Uber to my airbnb. The plan was to take the train from the airport, but the airplane got in too late. My flight was delayed because of the storm that was in A------.  so, I Won't Say I'm completely reliant on these men to actually enjoy my vacation, but I am getting quite stressed out that I haven't actually gotten anything accomplished yet. I want to go out and see the city, to go do things, to buy little things for my friends. instead, I've spent two full days here and haven't left the Airbnb. I used most of the last time money to get food and toiletries. I had two separate appointments scheduled for today. one very early on in the day. we had actually planned for last night, but I'm so far from everything. The Uber to get to him would have been $50. He said he could drive to my place this morning, but had to cancel at the last minute.  something about his kid and the baby mama…
I didn't ask because it was my business. I was nervous about meeting up with him, anyway. Unlike the men in A------,  most everyone around here seems to want to meet up for a whole afternoon. It's not like that time I was able to schedule three different appointments in one day. people here are loose, they don't give certain timelines, they want to spend the whole day together. which would be fine. if we were actually going out and doing things, actually being shown around, and I actually liked them, that's what I would want. if I was here with somebody I wanted, I would have come with…
him
not only did he want to stay here for what seems like quite a long time and I had another appointment scheduled for that night, he was also a sub. so many of these old men are into the BDSM stuff. it's whatever. it doesn't matter that much to me. The thing is, even though I have switch in my profile, I'm not going to be one of these crazy dominatrixes that they expect. He was talking about tying into a chair, making him cry out in pain. That's not who I am. I can be dominant, I can take control of the situation, but I don't like people being in pain. I'd much rather see them in pleasure. I'd much rather hear that sigh or groan Escape their lips. feel them twitch and writhe underneath me. I don't mind grabbing them by the throat,  holding them down, pretending I ever had a fighting chance against them. I don't like the idea of hurting anyone, though.
He wanted to pay me $300.
I needed that $300.
My other appointment for  tonight also had to cancel.  He wants to see me all week, for hours at a time. He wants to pay me $250 a visit, but since he said that he wanted to visit me multiple times, maybe every single day, I said that was okay. If I only saw him four times, that would be $1,000 already. He had to cancel. He was hosting for some Canadians or something like that. said that whatever they were doing head around a little long and he couldn't get to me in time. it would be too late in the night for him. I guess I picked an interview that was way too far away for most people's liking. He said we can meet tomorrow.
and I had another appointment scheduled for tomorrow at noon. He canceled on me, too. too far away. I get it, but also I was relying on that. He wanted to give me $200. annoying, but reasonable. so at this point of my planning, I would have already had $550. Instead, I'm down to $20 in my bank account. The thought of calling up that guy who offered me $140 is very strong, but he really seemed like an asshole and I don't want to have my address.
I haven't gotten the chance to do anything at all. to be fair, I did sleep  for a lot of the time these past few days. but I was incredibly tired. my other problem, though is that I'm broke as fuck right now.  if even one of these appointments had gone through, I could have done something. I could have just taken the train anywhere. I hate the feeling of wasting my vacation. I also have that tattoo scheduled for thursday. my paycheck comes through on wednesday, so that should be fine, but that's so long to wait. my vacation will almost be over by the time I have money again if none of these appointments work out. I want to cry. I don't necessarily like any of these men like I like a few of the guys in austin. At least in A----- I like talking to those guys.
which has been another incredibly stressful part of the situation. The guys from A------ are still texting me. because of course they are. That's kind of part of the deal. and I do like to talk to them. the problem is, there's just too many. There are so many people that I can't keep up with who's who. I mean, of course I know all the A------ men, but all of these B------ guys are getting confused and lost in my brain. and they're also clingy and they all want me to text them and call them immediately. they all want to go out on these long dates, actually do romantic shit. Again, if I had actually liked the guy and I was back in A------, that's what I would want, too.  but I want to explore the City by myself. I don't want to be held down by these old men and have to do what they want to do.
I mean, I wouldn't actually like to be by myself.
but he's not here and he doesn't like me.
so just forget about it.
it's better to be by myself.
The guy that talked to me for an hour on the phone kept asking me what I wanted to do in the city. every time you ask me, I would tell him that I really don't know. I don't know what's around the city, I don't know what's going on here.  I mentioned that I want to go to S----, but I'm waiting until after Halloween for that. I mentioned I want to go to an ice rink and he very helpfully informed me that those aren't open yet. apparently, even indoor ice rinks aren't open until it gets cold outside, which is fucking stupid if you ask me.  I brought my skates all the way up here for nothing. Besides, he seemed really annoyed that I even suggested going skating. Which is the whole thing. I don't want to go out and do all these old man things. I want to go out and do things I want to do. I would love to just go to a bar and fucking get wasted and make out with a pretty girl or something. something a 25 year old would do. Instead, I have to pretend like I'm into these old men. I have to pretend like they're the ones that are making me wet and not that I'm just always turned on. I have to sit there and sext with them  pretending to be interested in their boring ass conversation.  I don't mind sleeping with them. it's not my favorite. I would definitely prefer…
Some of them are bad at sex, anyway. Some of them are mean.  Most of them don't give a shit about how I'm enjoying myself. every single one has asked me to give them a blowjob which I fucking hate so much.  blowjobs are not fun to give. porn has completely ruined the men's perception of how much fun it is to give a blowjob.  What is fun, what actually turns me on and is actually a good part of sex, is when you really enjoy your partner's company. when you love every single inch of their body. when you  run your tongue along the shaft, slowly playing with the tip before putting your lips around it,  because you like to see the reaction it has on your partner's face. when I ran my fingers on the inside of his thigh,  hearing his breath Quicken and that little gasp,  the little kisses I would plant on delicate areas.
I'm going to make myself cry again.
I think about him when I masturbate.
Sure, occasionally someone new enters the picture who really catches my fancy, but he's still always there.  whether I picture him at the beginning, then it changes to someone else at the end, vice versa, or when I'm incredibly horny and picture him and maybe another man teaming up to make me scream in pleasure. He's always there in some capacity.
I don't like to give blowjobs.
And he didn't ask me to.
I did it because I liked him.
because I like to watch him enjoy himself.
because I like to hear him enjoy himself.
because I like the fact that he enjoyed me.

What to expect on 12th September? (NEET 2021)
Tumblr media
Hey everybody, if you're appearing for the NEET 2021 exam this Sunday (12th September 2021), I've compiled a list of some important things you might want to keep in mind.
The National Entrance-cum-Eligibility Test (NEET) is the national medical entrance exam in India. It is the only gateway into all medical schools in the country. It is conducted annually around May, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been postponed to September in 2020 and 2021. This year, 1.6 million students will be appearing for the exam.
[This list is by no means exhaustive, I only speak from my experience and the advice of friends and teachers. Feel free to add anything I might have missed out!]
How to make the most of this last week before the exam?
Do not experiment with anything new. Doing so might disturb the delicate subconscious programming that your brain has undergone through all these months of studying and practicing. By experimentation, I mean anything other than the routine that you've built while solving question papers. If you're used to starting with Biology, then moving on to Chemistry and ending with Physics, do not attempt to spice up your 3 hours by indulging in adventure sports like staring with Physics first. This will end in disaster.
Look through all the important things at least once. I know, I know. That's 10 fat books in one week. But remember that this is not the first time you're reading it. Skim. When you catch on something you're not too familiar with, only then should you actually read.
NCERT = holy book. Idk if you've heard but actually reading the books prescribed by the examining body will most definitely give you an edge over someone who hasn't. I cannot stress this enough. They will LITERALLY take out things from the NCERT and slap that onto the paper and call it a day. Remember that the examiners have to cater to those who do not have access to / cannot afford any sort of study material other than the NCERT. While study guides can help you interpret the NCERT, they cannot substitute it.
Have a plan. It doesn't have to be grand or very detailed. Just clearly defining what you intend to do with your time will suffice.
Set your internal clock. Practice at least one exam a day from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm IST because that's when the actual exam is held. You want to maximize concentration and attention at that time of the day.
Practice answering on OMR sheets. This year, because of COVID, all your mock tests were probably online. In that case, take a few hours to practice exams on the OMR. The time management on that is very different from online exams.
Eat well. Remember to drink plenty of water. Try to eat things that have come directly from the earth and onto your plate. I know it's hard and the anxiety is enough to make you under eat / overeat but messing up because of something as trivial as meal choices would kinda suck tbh. Please do not eat an entire large pizza all by yourself the day before the exam. Stay the hell away from carbonated drinks for at least this one week. I am begging you. You might not notice but they seriously mess with your head. Whole foods are the way 2 go babes
What to expect on the day of the examination?
The NTA will be releasing the admit cards 3 days before the exam. Your exam centre and time slot to show up will be mentioned on it. This is most probably done to (a) prevent unfair practices and (b) give students enough time to visit the centre.
Know your exam centre beforehand. If you're living with your parents who will be driving you to the centre, you could even ask them to visit the centre the day before just so you don't waste time searching for the centre on the day of the exam. Believe me, a lot of people have lost an entire year because of this.
The peeing. Listen. They'll allow you to go to the washroom in the middle of the exam, of course. But if you ask me, try to avoid getting up to pee. Try to time your water such that you wouldn't have to pee during the exam. Please make sure you pee right before the exam. Idk about you but the exam pee has always been a real problem for me and together with my anxiety, it has ruined a lot of exams. It also breaks your momentum and you'll have to re-orient yourself when you get back. NEET isn't like JEE - it's not about how smart you are, it's about how efficient and accurate you are, because that's what a doctor needs to be.
Eat a light, nutritious meal. Something that'll give you energy but isn't too hard to digest. You don't want to nod off during the exam. That would be highly inconvenient.
Be on time. If you don't turn up on time, no matter what, you will not be allowed inside. Again, a lot of people I know have messed up here.
Security check. You will be checked before entering the centre. Do not wear anything dark (black, dark blue, dark brown etc). Do not wear jeans or any tight clothes. All your clothes must fit loosely and they must be light. This is done to prevent people from sneaking in transmission devices. If you wear long sleeves, you will be asked to cut them then and there. Do not wear heavily embroidered clothes. Do not have any metal on you. Take off all jewelry at home. If you wear a bra, remember to wear a sports bra or one that doesn't have any metal hooks. You can't wear shoes - your feet must be visible. Wear flip-flops or thin sandals. People have been made to take off their shoes before and write the exam barefoot. They will provide a fresh mask at the centre and gloves. This time, due to COVID-19 restrictions, they will not be doing body pat frisking, they will not be checking your ears and mouth. There will be bluetooth jammers in the exam hall to prevent any transmissions and the entire exam will be videographed.
Stay calm. I know it looks like a high security airport check and you'll probably be scanned several times and subjected to several layers of screening but remember - this is done so that nobody has an unfair advantage over you. India has incredibly clever people, but sometimes for the wrong reasons.
While writing the exam:
Don't panic. If you see a question that looks hard do! not! panic! because we always know more than we think we do!! Wait a second, linger for a moment and the answer should come to you.
Know what to leave. If you aren't aiming to get a perfect 720/720 then you should leave time consuming questions and try to do as many questions you know as possible. If you are aiming for a perfect score, do the same but remember that you need to leave sufficient time at the end to come back to them.
Repeat. Remember - this is just another one of the hundreds of exams you've done. Follow the same strategy you're used to. Most definitely DO NOT experiment in the final exam.
Lastly, always remember that ur super cool and smart and amazing and one mistake won't define you. Your worth is inherent and not determined by an exam. Your timeline is very different from someone else's. This is not a race, it's about doing things right. Your physical and mental health are more important than anything else in life. Do your best today and try again tomorrow. And then the day after that.
If you have any questions, feel free to message me :))
Best of luck!!

For @inukag-week 2019, Day 2: Friends.
______________________
Fighting off murderous, power-hungry yōkai is nothing compared to calculus, Kagome thought as she rubbed at her tired eyes with her knuckles. Sighing, she slumped across the surface of her desk, burying her face in her folded arms.
It's all right, she told herself, trying to ignore the beginnings of panic building in her lungs. You can catch up. Just be patient. Don't panic. Panic and studying don't mix well.
She wished the sour feeling of anxiety curdling in the pit of her stomach would listen to reason.
 Don't. Panic.
She'd once read online that slow, conscious breathing could be calming and centering. Kagome took a very deep breath through her nose.
But all she managed to do was inhale flecks of rubber eraser shavings scattered along her desk, which threw her into such a frenzy of coughing that she had to rear upright in her seat, thumping her chest with a fist.
Okay, she thought as her eyes watered, maybe scratch the deep breathing.
Wiping at her eyes, Kagome surveyed the textbooks spread across the expanse of her desk, along with all the crumpled up wads of notebook paper, loose mathematics worksheets, the color-coded and intimidatingly-detailed notes she'd borrowed from Ayumi... and worst of all, the failed test she'd gotten back from her teacher earlier that week, absolutely covered in red marker and written comments which got progressively more curt in tone with each failed answer.
Kagome had seen yōkai corpses with fewer red marks than her failed calculus test.
While her teacher had clearly been unimpressed with her performance, he was also laboring under the delusion that Grandpa's lies were true—what illness had Gramps told the principal she suffered from now? Mad cow disease? Gangrene?—and had offered Kagome the chance to take a makeup test. "This is an important test, Higurashi," he had said brusquely after class, "if you can't get a handle on these concepts, you won't be able to understand the next section of the material. And I don't need to tell you how vital an understanding of math is for your high school entrance exams." Her face flaming at the reprimand, Kagome had nodded fervently and bobbed a hurried bow. Just as she'd turned to leave the room, he'd added, "Study. Find a cram school, or a tutor. Make this work, Higurashi."
But considering that she'd spent the last three days studying and she still couldn't make sense of the subject, Kagome didn't have high hopes for the makeup test.
 Make this work, Higurashi.
She grimaced, and resisted the urge to slump back over her desk.
That's what she'd been trying to do for six months now—ever since the day she'd been dragged 500 years into the past, ever since she'd gotten mixed up with the Bone Eater's Well and the Shikon Jewel and actual real yōkai, for heaven's sake!  She'd been trying to juggle two different lives in two different eras, trying to make it all work.
It wasn't her fault that the machinations of a vengeful, homicidal demon took precedence over homework. Usually, anyway.
And the thing of it was, she wanted to do well in school. She wanted to go to class. She wanted to study regularly. There was a part of her that had always taken pride in her academic performance, that had reveled in the challenge and had pushed her to be one of the top students in her grade, year after year.
A lifetime of hard work, and it had only taken a few months of travelling between eras to completely torpedo her academic standing. Now she was one of the worst students in her grade, if not the worst.
It stung her pride, but worse than that, it left her with a vague sense of shame, a lingering fear that she was somehow letting her family down.
Her lungs constricted. Her stomach roiled.
Panic and studying don't mix. Deep breathing, Kagome, come on! Pull yourself together!
Why was it that her attempts to get a handle on her anxiety only made her more anxious?
"Okay," she whispered, slapping a hand down on her desk. "I just need a plan, is all. I can make this work. I'll make this—"
 "Oi, Kagome!"
The girl shrieked and whipped around in her chair.
"Fuck," complained the hanyō swinging his leg over her windowsill, "do you try to make my ears bleed? You're loud enough to wake the dead."
"Inuyasha," Kagome breathed, pressing a hand over her fluttering heart. "Don't do that! You scared me half to death!"
"Keh!" He stood next to her bed, his frame silhouetted by the afternoon light streaming in through the window. His silver hair seemed to glow, stark against the red of his suikan. "You should've been expecting me," he said with a scowl, crossing his arms over his chest. "You said you'd be back today, remember?"
"I said—" Kagome paused, then gasped. "Oh, no! I did say that." Groaning, she dropped her face into her hands. "Inuyasha, I'm sorry, I completely forgot!"
His eyebrow twitched, and his fingers drummed against his bicep. "I figured as much."
His grouchy tone grated on her nerves in a way that only made her feel guilty instead of angry. "I'm sorry," she repeated quietly, dropping her hands to her lap and glancing up at him. "But the thing is..." She winced, then continued, "I don't think I can come back tonight."
His scowl blackened, and he took a step forward. "What?! Why the hell not?"
"I just— I have to— because I failed my—" She felt her heart rate speeding up as the awareness of everything she had to do flooded her brain. When she'd told Inuyasha she only needed a few days to catch up on homework and attend a couple classes, she hadn't been counting on the failed test, or her futile attempt at studying. The makeup was the day after tomorrow: she'd have to take two extra days, and she knew Inuyasha wouldn't be happy. She didn't blame him. Now in addition to disappointing her teacher and her family, she'd gone and let down the friends who counted on her—Inuyasha, Shippō, Miroku, Sango, all of them—because who knew what the consequences of delaying their hunt for Naraku would be?
Dimly, Kagome noticed Inuyasha's expression shifting to one of alarm as he stepped closer to her, his crossed arms dropping to his sides. "Oi, Kagome, slow down."
She'd seen complete havoc unfold in mere hours, what kind of chaos could Naraku wreak in two whole days, and all because she'd slowed them down, made them wait on her—
"Kagome!" She jumped in her seat as she felt Inuyasha's hand clamp down on her shoulder. He stood right in front of her, his bare feet on either side of hers, and he was staring down at her with a concerned frown. It was only then that Kagome became aware of her accelerated breathing, and the way she was wringing her hands.
He opened his mouth, but she shook her head vigorously, flapping her hands at him. "It's nothing! I've— I've got things under control!"
"Got what under control?" he demanded. When she didn't respond, he gripped her other shoulder and said, "What's up with you, huh? Tell me."
All she could manage then was another head shake and a gulping inhale.
He growled under his breath, then seemed to make a conscious effort at patience, because his tone gentled a little when he said, "Kagome, you need to breathe."
Remembering the inhaled eraser shavings, Kagome laughed a bit hysterically and was vaguely horrified to feel a telltale tightness in her throat, a prickling at the inner corners of her eyes.
Inuyasha's nose twitched, and his golden eyes narrowed. "If it's got you almost crying, it's not nothing." He crouched down on the balls of his feet before her, his hands sliding from her shoulders down her arms, finally settling in a loose grip around her elbows, the tips of his claws just faintly pricking through her shirt. His chest grazed her knees as he leaned forward a bit, tapping his thumb against the crook of her elbow. "Tell me," he said.
Kagome began to shake her head, but stopped mid-motion. She was caught by the look in his eyes—how unwavering they were—and the way his grip felt oddly grounding. Like he was crowding out her panic with his nearness. Forcing herself to focus on his gaze, she started taking deep, even breaths.
When the tightness in her throat had lessened somewhat and she felt a little calmer, she told him everything. She tried to stick to the bare essentials, avoiding any reference to the anxiety gnawing at her insides. But he still knew. Of course he did. It's not like she'd done a great job of hiding it so far. As she spoke his frown deepened, his nose surreptitiously sniffing at the air, no doubt scenting the true extent of her stress.
Once she'd finished talking, they looked at each other silently for a moment. Then Inuyasha made a low noise in his throat, and said gruffly, "Listen, Kagome. Just focus on, " he jerked his chin in the direction of her books and scattered papers, "whatever that shit is, all right? You don't have to worry about us. We can wait."
 "But—!"
"Keh, your ears broken? Shut up and listen, will ya? We can wait. You just do what you gotta do here."
Kagome stared at him. "Are... are you sure? Because I know I promised it would only be a few days, and what if—"
He snorted, and it looked like he was trying very hard not to roll his eyes at her. "How are you this dense?" When she spluttered in indignation, he cut in, "This test thing... it's important to you, right? School is important to you."
Unsure of where he was going, she nodded slowly.
"Then it is important." Inuyasha squeezed her elbow and continued, "So stop beating yourself up. We can wait. Okay? All you need to worry about right now is taking care of this."
He sounded so matter-of-fact, so confident, as though he had no doubt she'd get it done.
She swallowed miserably and looked down at her lap. "I've been studying for nearly three days straight, and I still don't understand it."
Inuyasha leaned back, releasing her elbows in favor of bracing his arms against his bent legs. "And let me guess—you've been worrying your fool head off the whole time?"
 "Hey!"
This time he did roll his eyes. "Dummy. No wonder you can't concentrate! Stop stressing about all the other shit. Just focus on what's in front of you. Ain't no different than bein' in a fight. You concentrate on your opponent and nothing else."
 Kagome blinked.
Trust Inuyasha to compare her academic career to a sword fight.
Only... Kagome blinked again, and felt a spark of realization.
Only it wasn't her entire academic career she was tackling. It was just one test. Isn't that what Inuyasha was saying? It was one opponent, one fight, not an entire army.
And just like that, the tightness in Kagome's throat eased away. She felt like she could breathe freely again. "Inuyasha..."
He must have seen a change in her face, or smelled it in her scent, because he smirked at her. "Better?"
She smiled back slowly, feeling a sense of calm for the first time in days. She nodded. "Yeah... I think I can make this work now."
"Good. Get to it. I'll be ready whenever you're done."  He rose to his feet and strode toward her window, but instead of leaping out of it as she expected he would, he dropped into his usual pose—cross-legged and cross-armed—underneath it, his back resting against the wall.
Puzzled, Kagome hesitated, then asked, "Are you staying?"
She might have been imagining it, but she could've sworn she saw the faintest red flush across the bridge of his nose.
"Keh!" he mumbled, turning his face away, "Not like I got anything better to do. Besides," he glanced back at her, "someone's gotta keep you from losing your shit again."
He was baiting her, but she saw right through it. She smiled at him. "Thanks, Inuyasha. I'm... I really needed that. I'm glad you came. I'd probably still be hyperventilating if you hadn't shown up."
He shrugged and closed his eyes, all gruff nonchalance. "Whatever."
She turned back to face her desk, and as she did, she heard him add under his breath, "Besides, you'd do the same for me."
Blushing and biting her lip, Kagome grinned down at her math homework.
With Inuyasha at her back, she knew she could conquer it.

A/N: Friends can give you much-needed perspective on things, don’t you think? ;)
In my mind, one of the hallmarks of a good friendship is support. Friends support one another. And though I adore the many ways that Kagome supports Inuyasha through the series, I absolutely love seeing how Inuyasha supports Kagome. I wanted to play in a space where Inuyasha provides unexpected, but very welcome, support in Kagome’s life, meeting her where she is and helping her along.

Episode 2 - "I DON'T WANT THE MYSTERY MOUSE-CA-TOOL BESTIE" - Ellie
Tumblr media
At the tribal, Ping was voted out of the Pendragon Tribe nearly unamimously. Tribal immunity for this round is Pictionary.
Tumblr media
I bet all these bitches know i voted for Keith and now they are going to come kill me in my sleep if i die i blame dylan
Tumblr media
yass round 2 i either think im in the best position on this tribe or theyre all secretly coming for me thats all
Tumblr media
Tribal went as well as I expected it to go. No major drama. It seems like Keith is in real trouble if we do go to tribal again though which would put me in a very tricky spot. For now, though, I will be trying my best in the upcoming challenge. The problem is, however, timezones and schedules. Jon is going to be our drawer, but he can only do it tonight or in the early afternoon tomorrow which I will not be there for. Additionally, Keith is asleep so we have no idea what his schedule is going to be so we basically had to schedule the challenge without him. And Nya could only do right before the deadline tomorrow which Jon cannot do. I hate this for us, truly. I just hope that Moth and I can rub our brain cells together for this one so that we can pull out a win. OR somehow the other tribes fail horribly. On the bright side, I am finally starting to catch up on Duolingo exercises. They're a lot easier than I thought, but it is still going to be tedious af to save up enough coins for some of the higher end products at the shop. As a final note, I am going to work with Nya in the long term as we promised each other to. Hopefully that actually works out. Time to actually be loyal and be a hero this time around. Need to try something different.
Tumblr media
If we lose this challenge, I will be very upset. We went so hard on this challenge!!! I believe that we can at least get second place, but I don't know how crazy the other tribes are. So, let's see what goes on
Tumblr media
Ayyyyy soooooooo looks like the four, Colin, me, Ava, and Brayden are officially in an alliance!? I’m really hyped to be working with everybody and already have sights on who should go if we have to go to tribal 👀 but like I’m gonna feel so bad if we go to tribal and I orchestrate a whole plan to take someone out I gotta do it when I’m not in my feels and the planets aren’t fucking with my emotions too heavy. But go alliance ! This means I’ll be able to stay safe until hopefully a merge and hopefully we can avoid a tribe swap till then which I get those vibe from it !! But I’ll be here to survive two more tribals just in case which is pretty rad. Other then that hopefully me offering to draw doesn’t end us up in the bottom and we can keep killing ! But anyways that is it as off know hopefully I have a lot more coins tomorrow morning and I get hit the hat shop bright and motherfucking early.
Tumblr media
Just got asked to be apart of an alliance <33333 the besties in the group trust me which maybe ain't the right move but for now we gotta love the bonding. exciting!!!
Tumblr media
YAY FOR ROUND 2! Okay, so I meet once again with the Hat Shop and... third times the charm! Except,,, the charm is getting nothing AGAIN lmao I'm not complaining though, still got that extra vote :P I stayed up at 1 AM for this challenge, and I honestly think our team popped off. Anastasia was guessing a ton, and Riley was amazing at drawing real quick! I have a relatively good feeling about our performance, so I hope I wake up to the news of our tribe being immune :D
Tumblr media
so yesterday I set myself on a mission to get an alliance. I wanted Ava + Brayden + Toph + me as a majority alliance. it was our day off from tribal so I thought it was the perfect day to do it!! I talked to Brayden about it first because he's the person I feel the most comfortable with, and then after a lot of coordination and careful communication I was able to pull it together!! I think the most important thing when making alliances is making everyone feel like they're a big part in it. So I was careful to ask each person how they feel about the others, about the game, and made a point to say that I wanted to work with them specifically. Some may call that a little manipulative, but I wanna make sure that I'm an essential part of the alliance!! i need everyone to feel like they need/want me there.
all of this happening so soon into the game is a testament to how aggressive I'm playing this time around. I usually like to lay low and just rely solely on my social game in the start, but I'm trying this out to establish myself early on! I wanted to play the tribe leader and I think I'm doing that in a smart and subtle way!!
so yes now we have a 4 person majority alliance named "duolingo owl hate club" because fuck that guy. I think we're the 4 most active and present people on the tribe so it's only natural for us to work together, but I think it's definitely worth noting that I was the one that was pulling the strings here.
We just did the pictionary challenge, I have a good feeling about it!! Toph was an amazing artist, and if we win, all credit rightfully goes to him!! I think the guessers also did great of course, but like come on, the artist has to be the mvp. I'm really hoping we pull through!! I don't mind going to tribal, but I genuinely don't wanna vote anyone out yet. I'm fine just playing the game in a precautionary way. I know I'm in a great position if we do go to tribal, but it's always preferred that we don't go.
Tumblr media
Everyone else on my tribe: doing the challenge and kicking ass
Me: I’m sleep
Riley (Tumblr has once again chosen violence so only the first 10 get banners 🥲)
I think our challenge went pretty well! My team were good guessers. Feeling like I've established some Integrity now. Hope it keeps me safe later!
Toph Soooooo we finished the challenge with 32 points and like wig !! I was a quick as drawer for 32pts expect when my internet lagged, but still ! I think we whooped some ass and if we do go to tribal I know it won’t be me going, thanks to Duolingo owl hate club but I’m also worried same could have and advantage because they seem pretty kean on learning a lot in like 3 hours and then tried to cover that statement to not seem so threatening but like babs s a huge threat too apparently they love Duolingo and know 5 laugnes ? This is from brayden but If so go babs ! That’s absolutely iconic for real Life but fucking scary in this game ! I gotta be buddy buddy with them so hopefully if they do have something it won’t be them going home first and it will be Ava. But I’m thinking we might get second place again unless someone is a fucking wizard at this.
Dennis hmm i think we did well enough in the challenge to not see tribal tomorrow but who knows i guess we shall find out tn
the way ellie was so on top of stuff yesterday only to oversleep the challenge makes me giggle maybe shes freaking out about it which makes me also giggle but i dont think its really a big deal
anastasia asked me to call yesterday and i was like sure lets talk but it is damn near impossible to hold a conversation with her idk i tried BUT she did tell me “yeah i just got off a call with ellie” im like i see. she says shes down to work with ellie but that quickly switched from ellie being ~experienced~ but good to know ellie is also playing hard. anastasia also mentioned that she talks to riley a fair amount who i still have yet to connect to well. but dat makes me think ellie is def talking to riley too miss debate team is definitely a talker. but good on her for the social game i guess
kenneth keeps being like haha we’re the same person and im like yeah👁 i bet we are👁
i just wanna win and not think about tribal just keep it slow and chill for now keep learnin my welsh i guess
Ava Second challenge was Pictionary and I had a ton of fun playing. The tea is: toph did a great job. He was pretty vocal about not being a great artist but really I think he did great. However, Babs was super inactive yesterday and ~too late~ said they were a great artist and should've been picked to draw. It was kind of like.... k babs thanks for the belated "help". They did do great guessing which scored a point in my book. Brayden was supposed to play but last minute logged off without saying anything so we did the challenge without him :/ sorta a bummer. Anyway the lack of participation from Sam is kind of popping off so we'll see where that leads them... Overall a fun game and fingers crossed we did well!
Moth I think we did okay at the challenge. Today I am dying from the heatwave so I’m not thinking too straight! Stay cool everyone
Ellie So yesterday Anastasia and I called for about an hour!!! I’d say we’re definitely way closer, she’s someone I really wanna work with although the idea of her and Brayden eventually being on the same tribe is kinda scary cause I know how close they are. Still she’s so fun to talk to and I just love her energy so much!
Pictionary challenge results: Jenkins Tribe wins with Penadragon second, Hatter Tribe has to go to tribal council on the following day.
Ava Well well well seems our bob ross, toph, didn't pull through (y'all think babs would've pulled it out for us or slept through our challenge like they said they almost did?) I can't wait for tribal. I'm in it for the drama. I'm hashtag voting Sam off - didn't even bother to be apart of our challenge and not too sure they've even been online for a full 24 hours. Weed out the weak.....
Anastasia
youtube
Brayden https://imgur.com/n60Lz0c
guys i dont know what to do someone help me out
Dennis i hope damn brayden gets the boot
Raffy Woo! We don't have to go to tribal again! We stan!
Ellie So I figured I’d go idol hunting today cause the shop was about to close and I just wanted to see what had been bought and what possible hats there were, I see that there’s a hat I have enough for that hasn’t been bought and I decide fuck it let’s get it
APPARENTLY ITS SOMETHING THAT IM NOT ALLOWED TO KNOW WHAT IT IS OR HOW TO USE IT YET???? THEY SAID ILL FIND OUT ABOUT IT LATER
I DONT WANT THE MYSTERY MOUSE-CA-TOOL BESTIE
Sam Well you see. I like all my tribe people. And I think we did real good on that music video! So, I think rather than voting anyone else off, I think I should just vote myself off if that is possible! Ahhh
Babs So sad to see Sam not only go but go through what they're going through :( same w Toph :( they all seem so lovely
Keith Not sure if i submitted a confession after the last tribal. But if I didnt here it is.
Happy I made it out of that tribal. I had raffy backing me with whom I played. Last time we played. We were at odds. We didnt work together but whats worse that we were against each other. It was either him or me goin out. Hopefully thats the past n we can work together. I jus need to keep things calm n show that Im not here itching to make big moves. So they dont feel threatened by me. N its easy cause right now. I havnt made that kind og bond with anyone on my tribe. To even think of such moves. Lets see what round two holds for me.
Colin so uh
we lost! :(
I was really bummed tbh. Like I thought we did well but circumstances with the challenge were just really unfortunate, from conflict about who wanted to be the artist to people disappearing the moment the challenge started, I think we did well despite all of that. Except we did kinda get stomped anyway. Oh well!! The game moves on. Tribal has to happen.
Initially I was gonna push for Babs, just because I feel like I don't wanna attach myself to them too early on. I've seen how much of a bitter player they can be, and lets just say I'm not the most loyal ally to have. however! 9 minutes after we lost, Ava announces to our alliance that she's voting Sam. I wasn't surprised, Sam has been the one not really pulling their weight. But I had some good connections with her!! we both did colorguard and shes so sweet and easy to talk to. I was really conflicted for a little bit, debating on whether or not to actually push for Babs. I think brayden sensed my hesitance but we both knew there was nothing really I could do to stop Sam from being the vote. At first tribal, the initial name always spreads like wildfire.
However, my mess was stopped abruptly by Sam asking to be voted out. welp!! okay then!! babs stays i guess!! i'm not too bothered. I'll never turn down an easy vote hehe.
Pretty sure there's a swap tonight. I'm kinda scared of that
uwu
Brayden
youtube
i almost forgot to upload this but dont worry i just remembered
Colin screams
Toph So we’re going to tribal in 20 and all I have to say right now is if there is a tribe swap after I’m gonna so scared but I ducking called I had a vibe and it was right that’s what is gonna win me this game trusting my intuition. I’m holding on now and gonna be the biggest comp beast next challenge in case I get fucked on this swap !!!! Or at least if it is a swap 🤔
Riley I don't know what this announcement's gonna be I'm worriedddd... Ginny said it probably means we're swapping teams but I don't wannaaaa I like our team.
Toph Sam self sacrificing made this the easiest vote ever and me being safe is a plus I guess 😎

This eBook is the culmination of my long fascination with convergence of the physical and digital worlds, in addition to the fortune I’ve had as being the Managing Director of one of the most comprehensive news outlets on Augmented Reality on the web – AugmentedViews.com. Through my interactions on that website, I’ve seen Augmented Reality technology literally leap off my screen into the stratosphere becoming one of the most talked about, provocative and promising technologies of the 21st century!
There are several key factors which must be addressed for a thorough understanding of Augmented Reality technology. Bits and pieces here are there just doesn’t allow you to connect all of the dots. That is what this eBook has set out to do; Providing you with a ground-up, thorough introduction to the world of Augmented Reality and all of the basic compenents which come together to make it work. This eBook is not meant to be a technical handbook but rather an industry guide to understanding basic Augmented Reality theory and its many applications!

Most of us have heard of and some even tried Augmented Reality applications, but only a few actually know what it really means.

Each concept builds upon the next to show you all things that must be considered along with how all of the steps can lead to a working Augmented Reality software application.
As a reader, you will greatly benefit from the eBook. It will also make you ponder how you can use the technology to your benefit and perhaps even inspire some great ideas for how it can be applied in new ways!
