notes: uh. should be working on my halloween fic lmaoo. but uh. thought i'd bang this out. inspired by a conversation with @shotorus about the names we use to refer to certain characters in narration. lmao.

contains: fem! reader (the only physical trait is that reader is shorter than gojo, gojo almost uses a gendered term for reader, but is cut off), established relationship (me: coughs up blood), typical gojo antics, nickname usage (darling, honey, sweetheart, babe), part of the infinite loop fic verse

"...I have a question."

You look at Gojo expectantly. Normally, he just says whatever is on his mind without pause, without filter, so you don't get why he's standing on ceremony right now. "Yeah?"

"We're dating, aren't we?" he asks.

You nearly spit out your drink. He's not wrong; for better or worse, he is your boyfriend now. The fact of it is actually kind of unbelievable when you think about it. Not just you dating Satoru Gojo. But you dating Satoru Gojo. If you had told yourself that it would have come to this ten years ago, even five years ago, you would have thought yourself a liar.

Now he's the one giving you the expectant look, his lips curved upward that little smile that always manages to get your blood boiling. The cocky bastard probably just wants you to admit it.

You consider saying 'no' just for the hell of it.

You decide not to. It feels almost as if you’re pulling teeth when you respond, “...we…are.”

Gojo’s mouth puckers and you brace yourself knowing full well that he’s about to start whining about something. There’s always something with this guy…"If we’re dating, then why am I still just 'Gojo' to you? I call you by your first name!"

"You've always called me by my first name," you dead pan.

"That's because I've always loved you!"

You roll your eyes. You know that's a lie, but you don't intend to argue with him— at least not head on because you know that it’s just going to lead to a dead end. "No, you love disregarding proper social etiquette. Or rather, you don't see the point in it."

"Oh, darling, you know me so well!" Gojo gives you a saccharine smile and you almost gag.

"Don't call me that."

He pouts. "Well, if you say I always call you by name, shouldn't I call you something else to show how special you are to me?"

"...no, actually, just my name is fine." A nickname from Gojo sounds dangerous. The thought of being called some cutesy nickname in front of everyone you know is mortifying. In fact, Gojo would do it solely to embarrass you.

So, naturally, he ignores you. "If darling is no good, what about... babe? Honey?"

"Gojo, really, you don't—"

"Sweetheart? My love? Oh, I know, I bet you'd love to be called pr—"

"Satoru."

He immediately stops talking, his mouth hanging open in stunned silence. You didn't think that that would have that much of an effect to be honest. For once, it feels like you have the upper hand. You make sure to savor the moment because you know they are far and few in between.

"Just my name is fine," you repeat. "...okay?"

He gulps and answers, "...okay."

You try not to let your mind linger on the fact that his voice just now was lower than usual. "Good. So—"

"Say it again."

You blink. "Huh."

"My name," Gojo says, his voice thick with emotion. "Say it again."

When you don't say anything he takes a step toward you, the infinite cosmos in his eyes staring you down. You feel defiant. It's not fair of him to ask you anything when he looks and sounds like this. Gojo takes another step closer and you think that if you're adamant about not giving in to him you better do it before he gets too close.

"You've... " you start and hate how breathless you sound. This bastard knows exactly what he’s doing to you. "You've hit your daily limit."

Gojo pouts and takes another step. "Well, that's not fair."

"You're not fair," you retort.

He doesn't argue and you take that as Gojo admitting that he's playing dirty. "I think you should up the limit."

You hold your ground as he takes one more step closer.. "No. You think there shouldn't be a limit."

Gojo chuckles and leans down to bridge the rest of the distance between you. He cups your cheek, bringing your face closer to him. Your breath stills as you feel his own on you and it’s damn near intoxicating. His mouth is barely touching yours and your thoughts shift from trying to keep the banter going to how the slightest movement from either of you will result in a kiss.

“You’re right,” he murmurs, lips brushing against yours. “There shouldn’t.”

@rinhaler - luxe is def on my top 3, she comes up with very organic scenes. even if it's a simple plot she can develop it so originally. I recently read her underground fighter!sukuna and i'm still thinking about it.

@laudthingcat has the best headcanons in the jjk fandom hands down, it’s the perfect dose of hot funny and cute, pick anything from her masterlist it’s guaranteed you’ll have a good time reading it. when you moan their name in your sleep in particular gives me butterflies

@meownotgood is obviously the best aki writer out there, you can see the love for aki in their words and how they write him so well and so into character. arrival in tokyo is truly a masterpiece, they also have a +100k words series i've been wanting to read for a while but i want to rewatch chainsaw man first hehe, i'm 100% sure is fire tho.

How I envision TXT as fathers.

YEONJUN

Yeonjun def is the flashy type of dad.

Would show up in expensive ass attire to his kid's parent-teacher conference.

Every teacher and parent has a big fat crush on him.

His children's friends would literally IDOLIZE him for how cool he looked.

100% would buy flashy clothes for his kids.

He would be in charge of dressing them up

Would buy all the versions of 'Just Dance' and gift it to his kids for Christmas.

Would 100% be more excited about playing it than his own kids are.

Has a hard time saying no to his kids, and he admits to it.

Family game nights are a MUST in his household and it always ends up with him and one of your kids fighting over who won.

He would 100% teach his child how to play the guitar.

His children would have amazing music taste by default due to his impeccable taste in music.

Whenever ya'll go to the mall he always takes his children to the arcade.

He would for sure be more immersed in winning than his own kids are.

You would have to literally DRAG HIM OUT of the arcade because he's just too stubborn but ends up winning a giant teddy bear so it's okay ig.

Beomgyu would probably be the type to fall asleep while trying to put his own kid to bed.

Poor baby is exhausted and couldn't help but fall right asleep once he sat on the rocking chair :(

TAEHYUN

Taehyun would for sure be the type to help his child with homework or help them study for a quiz.

His patience level is out of this world.

He has such a soft spot for his kids so if his kid asks him for something he just HAS to get it.

Loves telling them that they look beautiful like their mother.

He'd honestly be the calm type of scolder, he wouldn't yell or make a big fuss, but will make sure his kids know what they did was wrong.

Finds it absolutely ADORABLE when his children ask for him or want to be around him.

100% would shed tears during fathers day because seeing his little children saying they love and appreciate him makes his heart melt.

He would be such a good person to talk to, so naturally, his kids feel extremely comfortable talking to him about anything.

He would for sure be the type to swing and throw his child in the air. (yk when dads do the little throw and catch, yeah well that.)

Taehyun would probably not know what to do when his daughter has her first boyfriend, he wouldn't be overprotective, but if someone hurts his precious daughter's heart, he will make sure the person responsible never sees the light of day again.

HUENING KAI

Kai would be the mushiest, cutest little baby when it came to his kids.

He's just so soft around his kids that it makes your heart melt.

He would be the best dad in the world, I literally cannot.

He would be SO DEDICATED to decorate his child's room with a shit ton of plushies and blankets.

You would sometimes find him and your kid fighting over who gets to sleep with the stuffed animal.

Kai would definitely yell something like "CHILDREN REMEMBER DADDY LOVES YOU ALL SO MUCH, HAVE A NICE DAY!!!" while dropping his kids off at school.

He would get so shy when his kids say they love him.

Lowkey cannot say no to his kids, if his kids want to eat ice cream for breakfast they get ice cream for breakfast.

Sometimes you scold him for doing everything their kids want but he can't help it, he just wants to make his kids happy.

Tries to be more strict but fails immediately when his kids start crying.

Def would be the type to take his kids to Disney World every summer or some shit like that.

Brahms Heelshire Headcanons

Honestly I'm not sure why it took me so long to do Brahms, given I've been writing him since mid 2022. But I've been really vibing Slasher Headcanon posts lately, and today, it's his turn!

As always, these are of course my own personal opinion, but feel free to reblog, add onto them, ask questions about them, or add them to the ones you accept yourself! I absolutely love hearing from others on their thoughts.

Headcanons from the Movie:

The Greta doll [Or the Nanny doll, for fics or content where the nanny is an OC or the reader] was never intended as anything dark/kinky/etc. It was simply Brahms mirroring how he'd seen affection shown towards him. I went into this in more detail on this post, if you're interested.

While he doesn't have the ability/time to do things like take care of his hair or shave, he does shower when the nanny is outside doing the rat traps.

When he can risk it, he'll sneak his clothes in with the laundry, but that became more difficult once his parents left. He's sometimes able to manage it by putting a few things in with sheets/blankets, but more often than not he'll simply use the clothes his dad left behind when he needs something clean to wear.

Def a clingy boy. Likes being able to have some form of physical contact with his partner, or at least be able to see/hear them if he can't do that.

Sometimes doesn't understand things that one would expect an adult to know, simply because his parents didn't teach him. The best way to address moments like this is to correct any mistakes gently, and teach him what he needs to know. [This does not mean to treat him like a child, just be patient and don't use a judgmental tone.

Occasionally has trouble processing emotions, especially negative ones, due to his father having a 'men don't cry' mindset.

Headcanons from Fanfic or Fandom Interactions:

Once he's ready to do so, he's okay with being seen without his mask. Respecting the boundary of letting him decide when that happens is a great way to show you care/trust/love him.

Definitely nervous about leaving the property, but he can manage if he's not alone at first. Once he's been out with someone he trusts enough to adjust to things like the crowds, levels of noise, and the environments, he's ok with splitting up for short periods of time.

When he goes out, he wears a cloth mask to cover the lower half of his face, so that the scarring will draw less attention.

Random Headcanons:

He's 100% the big spoon, regardless of a partner's size. While he does enjoy being held, he prefers to do so when he's holding his partner at the same time.

Really loves having his hair played with, especially if combined with kisses or cuddles.

Dog person [Cats are too aloof, and he enjoys the energy dogs can have. They're also a good way to get him going outside in the fresh air again]

18+ Headcanons🌶️🔞:

Spicy Headcanons:

This man does not know his own strength, so do not be surprised at all if you have bruises in the shape of his hands.

Definitely a switch, because he can enjoy both being the one in control and the one being controlled.

Age Regression Headcanons: NOTE: I am not intending to say that age regression on it's own is spicy or kink. However, I feel it best to keep it under the 18+ cut.

One of his favorite modern children's shows is Bluey. This is partially due to the characters being dogs, partially because of the parenting dynamics shown, and partially because there are heavier/more adult topics addressed in a way that's easy to process/understand.

To add onto the above, if a nanny/partner sees him upset and prompts 'Checklist', he will recite off Chilli's checklist from the episode The Show, while allowing himself to do the items on it. It started as a way to help him address his emotions in a healthy way, but soon became something that helps both him and his nanny/partner, as he can do the same thing with them.

The checklist is as follows: ✓ Have a Cry ✓ Pick Myself Off ✓ Dust Myself Off ✓And keep going.

Likes doing coloring pages or other simple crafts, and will often proudly present his partner with the end result.

Loves it when they put it on the fridge where it can be on display.

They turn his childhood room into a 'Littlespace' room for him to go to whenever he like. This means painting the walls a soft, comforting color, putting soft rugs on the floor, adding prism window clings to the window to cast rainbows all about the room, a permanent pillow fort, and a TV with a DVD player and VHS player on a wheeled table that can be moved anywhere in the room, with a bookshelf full of movies from their childhood, as well as more modern ones.

If he's having personal trouble he definitely asks you about it first. You almost always have some words of wisdom that can help him sort it out.

And when you two get close he will ask to pet your tails and/or lay on them while you tell him about things please please let him lay on your tails-

So when you two meet you both click and clash at the same time.

He's outgoing and charming, you're calm and wise. You're both social people, but in opposing ways.

Your friendship starts with him being the most talkative and you just listening.

Eventually, you'll start responding with words that hold more weight. You go from simple, "Mhm"'s to actual responses.

You two could go on for hours about the same topic.

He kind of needs you to keep him in check sometimes.

Sometimes you can offer some advice as well.

"Maybe you could cover up that part with a detachable metal rim, to reduce the possibility of damage while still giving room to be fixed if it happens?"

He'll ask to study your ears and hearing compared to other foxes, to turtles, and to humans. Tries to make a high-def microphone with what he gathered from the experiments.

It's up to interpretation if he succeeds ;)

Since you have so many tails, he can make attachments for them.

He will ramble for so long about his ideas, all while you sit and listen with a smile.

I feel like he would stare at your tails all day

And you definitely pick up on it so you come upfront and just ask him

"Do you want to touch them?"

He does.

When you two are alone he will just sit there and brush your tails or run his fingers through them (if you're okay with it).

I think that, much like Leo, you would serve as a level headed/grounding person for him.

On a serious note though, any fics are likely going to be very sporadic over the next few weeks. I was already struggling to fit writing into my insane work schedule, but this week someone extremely close to me passed away. I'm scrambling to handle my grief while balancing work and traveling across multiple states for the funeral. So yeah, it's going to be a minute on anything new. I appreciate your patience.

“You need to cut it like this or you could cut off yo—Are you paying attention?” 

Standing up straighter, you nod. 

While Melissa is giving very important instructions on how to properly chop garlic—garlic presses are barbaric and ruin the cooking experience, she explained firmly—you’re content to watch her move. She looks beautiful in her oversized denim shirt, hair pulled up messily. Errant curls fall and frame her face. 

You’re not passionate about cooking like she is, but she insists you need to learn because no partner of mine is going to live on microwave ramen and frozen meals. Helpless to argue, you go along with it, knowing it means extra time with her. 

Since that first kiss in your classroom and date afterwards, the two of you have been slowly increasing your time spent together. Whether she joins you in your classroom for a quiet lunch or you grab a drink after work, you’re happy to be with her, but this was your first time in her house. 

The sheer amount of photos impresses you. You didn’t know one person could have so many family members, let alone pictures with all of them. Most of your family stuck to themselves barring the occasional funeral. 

“Definitely.” You say, nodding. 

“No,” Melissa sighs, “You’re not.” 

“I’m not.” You agree. 

Your smile is sheepish. It isn’t that you’re not paying attention to her, you just care more about enjoying her company than listening to the cooking lesson for a moment. She sets the knife down and folds her arms over her chest. You try very hard to keep your eyes from wandering. That would not help your case, despite how flattering it might be. 

“Are you trying to waste my time?” 

Oh. Your mind says, heart squeezing unpleasantly. You hadn’t realized spending time with one another was a waste. Rationally, a part of you knows she didn’t mean it like that, but the sting of rejection has already started to fester. The smile slips away like your good mood. 

You’re suddenly very, very tired. 

“Of course not.” You say softly. 

Every limb feels impossibly heavy. You don’t meet her eyes for fear that she’ll read your emotions in them. Janine explained the whole ‘eyes are the windows to the soul’ saying to you last week and since then you can’t get it out of your head. The last thing you want is anyone digging around in your brain.

You didn’t mind the idea of Melissa doing that until now, though. Melissa is always so careful about speaking gently. Even if you know that isn’t her default, you forgot how difficult it was to be on the other end when she was so tough. 

“Okay.” She drops the topic suddenly, “Hand me the onion you brought and pay attention this time, will you?” 

She smiles and you try to return it. Though you know she’s trying to brush off the interaction, it’s done the damage in your mind. It isn’t her fault, really, you know she didn’t mean it how it sounded. But that doesn’t stop it from burning a hole in your chest. 

Your mind is spinning careful webs of misery to catch you in. Though you keep trying to fly around them, you can’t help but get caught, and find yourself in a downward spiral. The desire for space, to go home and curl up alone, is intense, but you know it’s rude to suddenly excuse yourself. So you try to pretend as best as you can. Try. 

Melissa reaches out her hand, palm up. You tilt your head curiously. As much as you adore her, how is she going to hold your hand and cook at the same time? 

“Is this your way of subtly saying that you want to hold my hand because it’s quite cute, but I’m not in the mood to hold your hand.” You say without filtering yourself. 

Melissa’s brows furrow and her hand closes. She pulls it back and flips off the burner on the stove with a harsh click! Then she turns, mirroring her posture from earlier, leaning against the counter while folding her arms over her chest. She doesn’t look angry this time… you think.

You cringe as soon as the words leave your mouth. With your energy suddenly deflating, it appears your filter has too. 

The redhead’s voice is uncharacteristically soft, “If you’re overwhelmed, you know you can tell me.” 

A lie is on the tip of your tongue before you pause. Fuck it, you think. If Melissa wants you, she has to want all of you; even the awful, silly parts.

“It’s not that. I mean, I was when I came over because the grocery store is a very overstimulating place, but I’m okay now. You—I—” You sigh harshly, rubbing your thumb to your fingertips in order to ground yourself, “It’s silly and I know you didn’t mean it like that, but when you asked if I was wasting your time, it felt like you meant spending time together was a waste. And it… I’m not feeling the best about it.” 

You close your eyes and brace for impact. You wonder what the reaction will be this time; your Mother’s deflection was always your favorite to decipher later, unpacking all of the subtle insults that flew over your head when she delivered them, too intent on just hearing it and getting away into your own space at the time. 

There was also your ex, who could twist words and blame so expertly that you ended up being the one to apologize. The guilt she pinned to your shirt to carry around until the next argument marked you like a brand. 

“I didn’t mean it like that, I’m sorry.” Melissa says. 

You open one eye cautiously, waiting for the gotcha! moment, trying to anticipate when the screaming will start. It never comes. Melissa has her arms crossed, but when you open your eyes, she extends a hand palm up, a silent request for touch you both so desperately need. 

“You… are?” You ask slowly, taking her hand and lacing your fingers with hers. 

“I was upset that I wasn’t being listened to and I took it out on you, honey. So yeah, I’m sorry.” 

“I’m sorry too. I made you feel ignored and that’s not okay.” 

“We all make mistakes, alright? Let’s not beat ourselves up over it.” Melissa smiles, something genuine and loving, her other hand coming up to brush away something from your face, “Just… pay attention this time.” 

Standing up straighter and nodding, you do just that, dedicating all of your attention to her. You want her to feel as special as you know she is. It’s easy to watch her dance around the kitchen, throwing instructions your way with a knowing expression. 

At some point she reminds you about the onion you brought. Digging through the grocery bag, you set the onion on the cutting board. She pauses. Slowly, she looks between you and the onion, then back to you. 

“Is that a white onion?”

do you have any character analysis posts you're working on? i'm currently mulling Daya/Dia over in my head right now. In general, I'm thinking a lot about Kabru's team because they don't show up much in the manga and won't be in the show much longer as noticeable players, but have quite a bit of outside-the-manga content to comb through. Personally, I like the idea of Rin and Dia becoming friends with Marcille post-canon, but I want to know them better first. I know Rin pretty well already. 1/2

I have 78 drafts on tumblr currently oh boy… The thing about my process is that I ramble easily but then I need to compile panels to illustrate the points and that’s real tedious… Character analysis wise - I’m most hyped about a Falin one on the topic of if she’s a people pleaser, how much does she care, what’s her way of thinking etc etc, also her differences with Laios because I hate seeing people seriously say they’re the same person. - Also a Cithis one that I just need to streamline at this point. I want to analyze her demeanor, poke at her psychology and analyze her relationships, she’s fascinating. - Oh I’m so stupid I almost forgot to mention the one I’ve been working on currently about Thistle, the age shenanigans but in an in-world way where yes it’s wonky and it means something. He hauntssss me I have so many thoughts on Thistle & Falin lately. Like, offtopic for the analysis but… Falin loves nature and Thistle is named after a flower… Imagine her post-canon coming across wild thistles and feeling a rush of fondness and she doesn’t know why… Thistles have thorns but they taste sweet… Peel of his thorns and eat him pls.

I have more Chilchuck & family thoughts coming, and more Toshiro & family, but these will have more of a casual brainstorm & speculating tone to them, I also just need to streamline these… Like I am obsessed about Toshiyuki and Chilchuck’s alcoholism I’m sorry

Beyond those the topics of the character analysis become more specific, like - How much social awareness does Laios have? Not none, not a lot, but the specifics can be blurry in ways I think are interesting, he was sensitive to people’s judgements in his hometown after all, and he does worry about others’ perception of him… He does know that buzzcut guy was taking advantage of him, etc etc. - There’s an extensive one I want to make on how the winged lion reflects abusive relationships, like how he targets all his ‘meals’'s specific weaknesses and draws out the worst in each of them. A lot of Dunmeshi is about unity and overcoming prejudices & differences & flaws and forming deep and long-lasting bonds despite it all, and amongst all of it it’s like… How flawed relationships with flawed people can still be made into somehing good and healthy that make the world brighter… Except the winged lion there to represent abusive relationships which you need to fucking DITCH, lol. - And on the topic of Dunmeshi & relationships I want to talk about it and queerness, especially in the queerplatonic sense of blurring lines, and Izutsumi + Laios’ relationship to touch should feature in those.

And my crown jewel but I’m soooo hyped about the Marcille & Chilchuck’s arcs one I’m working on it’s gonna go over so much stuff I’m obsessed about, like the importance of books in Marcille’s life, what the succubi reveal about the characters in what ways, the theme that’s so prevalent in Dunmeshi of idealization, Marcille’s imagery as a dungeon lord, a shepherd a general a princess a monster a damsel a woman in mourning…

But that’s enough for heavy ones, side characters wise: doing quick posts like for the gold-stripper characters has been great, but those usually come to me on the same day that I post them. I might make some analysis posts on say Mickbell or Holm or Otta, but I don’t have the thread I want to follow yet. Flamela’s been on my brain so much too…

Mostly though there’s just a lot that I wouldn’t write analysis for, but that I’d love to explore in fanfics! For example, the hienbeni I want to write the most rn is about the surges of anger that Benichidori gets, impulsive and stressed out. I haven’t made a post on my Izutsumi & Benichidori brotp and all the interesting parallels I think I have, but I’ve written a fic on it! Same about Chilchuck’s daughters and their relationship with his alcoholism, etc. I explored the guilt and confliction he may feel about his wife in my fic Enough as well, etc etc. You can see my fics here! For Kabru’s party lately mickrin has been having a chokehold on my brain, I’d love love love to explore Rin’s and Mickbell’s characters and issues through fics for them. As I think you might have figured, I love to explore characters through the lenses of relationships they have with others (Cithis & Mithrun and Pattadol, Thistle and Falin, etc), and that’s why for example I love to make posts that pitch ship ideas, I think specific dynamics can really have a lot to say about either characters. Oh another one’s toshimari, I want to make a fic about them and their feelings of being foreigners and not being able to integrate well to The Island, through the plot of them going to a restaurant as coworkers and the food they eat there~

These are only the ones I have at the top of my head though………. Someone help me Hopefully this post wasn’t boring lol, but yeah those are my wips rn. Need to make posts on toshimari, kabushuro, cithaios, cittadela and ships like that I think have interesting potential too. Many of these I’ve mentioned here I’ve had in my drafts for like 6 months btw gdvd 😭

Thoughts About Being in a Relationship with HSR Characters

So like we all love to fantasize about being in a relationship with fictional characters but would we want to actually be in one? As a huge fan of the Aeons I did a quick overview. Even though getting into a relationship with one is widely unrealistic (actually impossible because they're video game characters but even in game it's unrealistic).

Wow, Aha is such a goofy Aeon sure the chaos they cause is insane but there's never a dull moment with them around. But like imagine being in the HSR universe and being in a relationship with this Aeon. 99% chance of death (because of a prank), that 1% chance is saved if for some reason you can't be killed.

Literally miserable. You know how you try to have like a normal conversation with your dad, or guy friend, or boyfriend but they just don't take shit seriously. Like they avoid the topic 24/7 because of jokes. Imagine trying to have a serious conversation with this guy, actual terrible experience.

In a modern AU would be one of those prank YouTubers that like pretends to kill your friend as a prank but actually does kill your friend, it's not a prank. Why aren't you laughing?

If still alive 10/10 in the HSR universe, 9/10 in modern AU. I am down to travel all over the cosmos but since I have a normal life here on Earth I am perfectly happy staying in my room, writing, coding, and drawing. But Akivili would def bring back some banger souvenirs and pictures even if you're just a friend of theirs.

Okay serious question do you think they'd taxidermy their lover? Like I know in HSR there's not really that option (their lover could be one of the memokeepers I guess?) but in Modern AU I feel like they'd taxidermy their lover. I don't know if that's a plus or a negative.

Definitely the kind of Aeon to be hung up on their first love so you better hope you're that first love. Or else they'll be reminiscing over memories and old photos and old videos and constantly comparing them to you-- man that sucks. Probably would take you out to nice dinners though and give you lots of good memories.

In Modern AU I feel like the idea of Fuli gets 10 times more mystical and also 10 times creepier, like someone that tries to record all of the events in the world but also the events happening right now. So historian, journalist combo, except I feel like they would just appear out of nowhere and then just go back to the void and post a bunch of random photos online. They'd definitely have observed their lover before talking to them (likely several times) which is the creepy aspect.

7/10 for the memories.

Actual 10/10 you cannot argue otherwise on this. Okay, you definitely can but 10/10 in my book aside from the fact you die but like you'll either be accepting your death and dying or spend the rest of your life trying to prove IX wrong about the purpose of life.

Wouldn't take you on dates, you'd have to take IX on dates, plan the whole thing out, really fluster them, give them the time of their existence. And IX would sit there like the gentleman... gentlewoman? Gentle creature it is. I feel like they would be very polite :)

In Modern AU I'm pretty sure IX is just your average office worker who hates their life and sees no point to it but for some reason can't die. 9/10. IX loses one point for no longer being a blackhole.

Lan

Honestly... another gentle creature, and like respectfully, very respectfully I would love to take them out on a date. Seems respectful, apparently pays close attention to mortals so there's a higher chance of Lan keeping their lover alive if they're (Lan's lover) a mortal. Pretty sure 90% of the Aeons would accidentally kill a mortal lover.

Just seems very obsessed with their goals and honestly I respect the grind. 8/10, your average grinder. That being said Lan is also absolutely beautiful but I'm not a big horse person.

In Modern AU Lan would be someone that's trying to change the world, one of those go getters. Again very respectful, and cool but would probably work 16 hours a day which makes holding a relationship pretty hard. 7/10.

Mythus

I haven't done Gold and Gears or finished Swarm Disaster but damn Mythus is really hot. Smash. Uh 6/10 because I don't know their personality or even what they represent but they are really beautiful. I like the jellyfish.

Nanook

Aw man, the moment I saw this guy I knew they would haunt my thoughts. And yeah they do. So beautiful from the molten lava, golden eyes, white hair, man if only they didn't have the personality of an absolute asshole. Like I write fanfiction about Nanook sometimes (pretty rarely) and I can say I am literally pulling every possible string I can to make this Aeon a good lover and somewhat in character.

This is just because I like writing lovers that are semi-decent, it's pretty hard when you get to people like Nanook but I do my best. There's no way a relationship with Nanook would work out feasibly because there's no way they'd love you.

But if they did... I don't know, Nanook is still a pretty bad person for trying to kill everything else in the world so I'm gonna have to dock some points for that. Reminds me of the brooding quiet, only soft spot is for you, male lead troupe except Nanook is trying to murder everyone 24/7.

In Modern AU, I don't even know what Nanook would be? An assassin? A serial killer? I can kind of see like a revolution leader cause apparently they were born from the flames of a world in complete destruction and they saw everything as ugly and destruction as the only possible outcome. I can see a twist with Nanook leading a revolution in hopes of creating a more beautiful world but finding destruction as the only possible outcome that will remove the plague known as life.

Even if they loved you, they'd be very busy with their revolution plans, and I feel like you'd probably be caged away somewhere far away from the danger so you'd barely see Nanook if they wanted to keep you alive.

2/10, 2 points for being so FUCKING beautiful. Thanks Hoyoverse for making a character so attractive.

Okay Qlipoth would be like big puppy partner, you get me. Like golden retriever vibes or uh... that one person that watches over everything to make sure you're safe but not like in the stalker way. Like the government, y'know? Except the government now wants to make sure you're safe! :D

I am a bit thrown off by the fact Qlipoth is a rock but I'm even more thrown back by the IPC. Like they're really fucking annoying (not as individuals I love Topaz and Aventurine) they're like Qlipoth's lil fanclub. They'd also be Qlipoth's fanclub in Modern AU, I'd imagine and I will imagine.

Also they're a bit sus, like I know they're great, but they want to build a wall. What's the wall for, huh?

Anyway as a partner sure they're a rock, and have an annoying fanclub but they'd probably be really caring and would be able to destroy anything that threatens you. I'd imagine it's about the same in Modern AU but destroy anything with money.

Nothing is stronger than money, actually a nuke is but we're going to assume none of the Modern AU versions of the characters would have access to that or make their own because that would change the game.

I'd say 7/10 in both HSR and Modern AU, I don't know they're just kinda sus...

Tayzzyronth

I'm about half way through the swarm disaster and question time--

If insect, why hot? Like I hate bugs, mainly flying ones, but like why is Tayzzyronth half insect half human 100% beautiful? Anyway from what I know they basically became an Aeon because they were lonely and like the last one of their species and honestly, they deserve a hug for that.

Still absolutely terrifying and if you were in a relationship with them you'd probably be smothered with the Swarm which is beyond terrifying. Would be significantly better in Modern AU where they wouldn't have insects around them all the time. 4/10 in HSR and 7/10 in Modern AU.

Don't know them but they're so beautiful and with a path like the Harmony they've got to be good, right? Right?

Yaoshi

I think Yaoshi is the Aeon I most actively thirst for, like they're so beautiful, and they pull off deranged love so well. They would keep their lover alive until their lover goes insane because of mara. And they're super kind, and empathetic. The threat of becoming mara struck is one I would take just to be in their presence. 10/10.

In Modern AU! they'd be so beautiful, still, like one of those fragile looking beauties that would just approach you randomly and then ask, "Are you in pain?" And it'd be really creepy but because it's Yaoshi it'd be okay and you'd fall in love like instantly. Don't answer yes to the question though. I feel like they'd have mad scientist vibes, probably would do unethical experiments which doesn't really sit right with me. Again, would try to keep their lover alive no matter what but they'd be really nice. 9.5/10.

Alright so I did this in 30 minutes instead of working on my presentation which is due tomorrow and I haven't finished research for.

Starting with what everyone wants, CEO! David!!!

Despite not having to come in everyday, David always comes to work because he likes to keep an eye on everything.

Everything he expects from his workers, he expects from himself!! So if he comes in everyday, he expects his workers to do the same.

THAT BEING SAID!!!! HE'S SOOOO LENIENT WITH HIS WORKERS!!!

Like, if someone can't come in because of Mental Health Issues, he'll let them stay at home with no explanation needed, with full pay AND a personal check in from him to make sure his employee is ok!!!

He takes any harassment claims superrrrr seriously. A whole investigation will take place to make sure everything is properly done.

Despite him being dressed to the nines when he comes to work, there is no strict dress code that he imposes on anyone.

Double checks any and all reports to make sure they check out.

Makes sure his employees are paid extremely well and gives them all the benefits.

If there is extra work that needs to be done, instead of asking his workers to stay behind, he'll do it himself.

He has a blanket and pillows in his office because that's how many late nights he spends. T-T

Also has a coffee machine in there toooo. T-T

This poor man has to deal with the most chaotic executive group ever but he loves them to bitsssss!!!

Hmmmm, I can see David in a few different specialization, but for the sake of simplicity, I'm gonna make him a Management Major (because I am lol).

Does superrrr well in all of his classes. What can he say? He's a diligent student.

Def the one motherfucker who likes Econ. What a monster.

He hatessss Marketing because he finds the class so fucking boringggg.

He fully admits he's a nepo baby, but!! That doesn't deter him from working hard.

He hatesssss it when people slack off because either their parents can cover their asses or "Cs get degrees."

Mainly hangs out with the kids who're disadvantaged in any way (i.e. they're first/second gen immigrants, poor, racialized etc etc)

He adores HR classes because he wants to make any business he works for as safe and healthy as he can.

An ambitious mother fucker. He wants that CEO spot and he'll get it on his own merit and nothing will stop him.

THIS IS NOT ALL MY THOUGHTS CUZ ALL MY THOUGHTS ARE HOURS WORTH OF THOUGHTS. PROBABLY. here's some scattered initial thoughts . out of order

- vlad vlad vlad i adore vlad i wish he talked more. he doesn't even name drop the first time we meet the bleacher creatures! I think. I don't even remember when he name drops

- I don't think I'm overestimating it when I say I am the confucius guy. and the confucius guy has been fed very well this season. im SO grateful. I'm obsessed with him. He's cute. He's sometimes a little unexpected. He has about 5/6 minutes worth of angst. He's relatable. He is everything to me

- The Mary twist was hilarious, at first I had mixed feelings about the character being shoved in, but it built up to awesomeness

- It's been rough for Harriet... It's been real rough for her character. Which SUCKS cuz I wanna like her! I don't dislike her but Girl Why

- The writing has def improved since the last season! Hooray! Gives me 1% hope

- The JFK&Abe&Confucius trio is adorable and one of my fav things about this season. "We tried! Yeah yeah We tried!" "C'mon... C'mon...? C'mon... C'mon!"

- Joanfucius cute !! 7.5/10. Better than their s2 relationships (Joanfk/tubfucius)

- Jfabers are winning. And losing also

- Shower scene didn't happen

- I loved JFK's personality arc, his devils & angels, and him being more bisexual than ever. The explanation for the writers to "fix his personality" was genius

- I felt the increased amount of swearing made it so jokes or emotional moments involving swearing didn't hit as hard as they could have. And some sex scenes were dragged on for too long which wasn't useful narrative/comedy wise .. just uncomfortable

- I accept buff confucius into my life

- The new characters from ep 9... erm. I didn't like them much. I don't like the "here's character's love interest that is basically this character but opposite gender!" trope. The part with Mrs. C's cockney accent made me like her more though

- JFK'S DAD CAMEO !! HOORAY !! i wonder where the other dad is though ...

- I appreciated the references to previous seasons !!

- The ending left me in shambles & some actual grief. I loved the last episode, the way it parallels the first season finale, and the emotional drama, but I feel like they can't afford a cliffhanger. I would have liked some closure, as I have barely any faith in the animation+streaming industry and am 99% sure we're heading for cancellation. Boo-womp

- On the topic of ending, I headcanon that if the series does get cancelled, the clones actually get hit by the missile and DIE. I AM MAKING IT WORSE FOR MYSELF

- I LOVE EATING MAGNETS

- I really liked the Christian rock song and the inclusion of Unrehearsed by Abandoned Pools! I wish there were more new songs X( but it ok

- Scud and Mr. B were awesome as usual

- Abe cute

- I'm glad we got more Kahlopatra (Or... "cleda" as the show calls it. I GUESS. I GUESS)

- Frida's dad... emm.. ermm.. ermmm.. 😳😳😳 he so

- Not a whole lot of JFKonfucius moments but some screenshot worthy stuff . I went insane when JFK grabbed Confucius by the collar though 😭 why does he do that. why are they like that. i love my boys

hi anon 👋 first of all, i wasn't sure what kind of tone i should respond this with. but, i would like to thank you for sending this in. you gave me the push to finally post my 'especially to you...' series that has been on my masterlist for so long.

next, you're not wrong. compared to my other stories, this series is not getting as many notes. i am not scared to admit that it did discourage me a little bit but it all changed when i re-read my stories (yes, i'm one of those authors who re-reads their works many times, over and over again).

yes, ofc i could keep all the burden and weight of my personal life to myself. we have a choice to do that or share it with the people around us. for me, i chose the latter. why?

because i believe that feeling like you're alone, especially when you're too scared to speak up, is one of the darkest, loneliest, hardest and most excruciating moments that a person can ever have. i hope that my stories could accompany those who may feel alone and bring some sort of comfort.

i choose to be open. i choose to speak up first after the other person is ready to listen to me (for my stories, this comes in the form of warnings). i choose to tell the experiences that i've gone through. after that, it's up to the other person if they want to spread it around, keep it to themselves and/or maybe even judge me.

it was my choice to open up. the ball is in your court after and the information that i've told them will be up to them and their conscience.

i'm open with talking about life experiences and most especially, mental health. as a person who has multiple diagnosis and waiting to be assessed for more as well as waiting for re-asssessments, to a certain extent, through my stories, i want to tell it out to the world.

comfort, sadness, pain, discovery—those are the words that i would describe my journey so far.

so yes, while it isn't getting as much attention, the way i smile, cry and feel my chest lighten after reading my published stories, makes me keep going.

also, in terms of your definition for fanfiction, i guess our definition of the word differs greatly and i can respect that. but for me, my stories will not only be about romance.

because that's not the kind of author that i want to be. also, i will not be influenced by others to be the author that they want me to be.

i write for others to read but most of all, i write for myself.

i refuse to publish stories that i'm unsatisfied with even if people tell me that they love it. i refuse to publish stories that i will not re-read. i refuse to have no personal connection to the stories i publish.

so that's my answer! sorry that it's long 😅 and sorry that i kept you waiting as well 😭 i hope this answers your thoughts and asks!

different anon (big 🙄 at the last one, c'mon, you could've spent the time it took to write that putting something nice and community-building in somebody else's inbox) would like to say that I very much enjoy the things you post on here and you're right, it's hard to have a community with the platforms as they are! tumblr is organized poorly/makes finding things you're interested in difficult (this was something I also struggled with on lj, actually, finding like-minded people), twitter is too big/not insulated enough from non-fannish communities (which is particularly challenging for rpf but also just in the sense of wanting fandom to be an escape), ao3 is a place where you can often find what you want but outside of comments sections it is not designed with engagement with other community members in mind (also you said perfectly what I've really struggled to articulate about the ao3 bookmarks discourse), and while I do think discord works as a community-builder, it's only if you've got a very small fandom and are able to effectively centralize/get the word out to those interested. as someone who is quite shy, but also enjoys engaging with other members of the community, there are some nice things about a platform like tumblr (like anon asks), but it also definitely enables people like me to leave my thoughts and disappear into the ether, which def does not facilitate community-building. Anyway. It's a very interesting topic and you're also right and you should say it 1) the toxicity of certain fandom hierarchies in days of old (seriously the stuff that went on is wild) and 2) re: the whole consumer-content mindset some people in fandom exhibit. Don't do that. This is a community where art happens to be made/generously shared for free by its members. The only thing you spent was your time and if you felt it was wasted, too bad, whine about it in DMs to someone who isn't the creator like a grown-up.

hi anon! first of all, thank you, i'm glad you like my posts and that's very kind of you to say ❤ other anon is entitled to their feelings and i am certainly not a person free of social flaws but i do think my words about lj comments were misconstrued.

second of all, i'm not going to add much to what you said because i think you've done a good job touching on/summarizing the Issues(tm). lj was definitely not a perfect platform either (tumblr is MUCH better for sharing/circulating content for example) and i'm sure there are plenty of people with very valid platform feelings/preferences that are different from mine. AND i am also pretty shy so i feel your pain on all that stuff! i think a lot of us are trying our best with limited resources and imperfect tools and that can make things hard sometimes but overall i am still so glad to be here!
