#kirby #kirbear #plushies #daily kirby #my art #digital #hal laboratory #nintendo #I've been slowly repairing my baby blanket #unpicking all the decades of old stitches and everything. #she's actually in incredibly good shape for her age #but her edges are giving out #so I unpicked the old hems and put a border on her #and darned the corner that was too destroyed to reach the border #I still have to unpick and redarn the hole torn by my childhood cat #(weird little fun fact: my baby blanket is genderfluid for some reason?) #(right now she is her and she has been her in the past but she has also been him in the past.) #it's a lot of work because I have to finish whole chunks at once so she's stable enough to sleep with at night #I can't leave big raw vulnerable edges just because I'm tired #but it's mostly done now #(and yes I took a couple little videos of her old repairs because they were a part of her. especially the oldest ones.) #there's lots of people who do stuffed animal restoration and stuff but I haven't found anyone that does baby blankets :( #so I'll just learn to do it myself.

Nikolai Always with Reader’s Hand on His Chest

Nikolai is a pretty laid back and chill sort of man, so he usually doesn’t mind you putting your hand over his heart. Maybe not while you’re walking, though, he doesn’t want you to trip. It’s very sweet to him: You wanna make sure that he’s alive? That he’s still with you? That his heart is still beating? Trust me, not even death could take him away from you. He’d dig his way out of his grave after killing the reaper with his bare hands himself. You can always put your hand over his chest while you’re at home together, though. It’s nice to feel you. After a while it would be reassuring to him as well, feeling that you’re there, that you’re with him. He thinks it’s sweet that you always want to be touching him, because if it was up to you he’d do the same thing with you. After some time, once he’s realized that you’re always touching him whenever you can, he tries to get into positions that facilitate you touching him a bit. Usually lies on his back when you’re cuddling so you have full access to him. Can and will fall asleep like that, but will also want to hold you back. Will also put his hand over your heart as well so he can “get back at you”. In reality, feeling your heartbeat is also just nice and reassuring to him. However, he sometimes might lie on your chest in order to hear it as well, something like it lulls him to sleep, after all. You can put your hand over his chest in public as well, though, he doesn’t particularly mind cuddling in public either. There’s a good chance you’ll be nicely clothed, though, so you won’t feel his heartbeat unless you slip your hand under his clothes. You can do that, he doesn’t care about strangers staring in public. However, once it’s time to continue walking around, release him. You can continue your antics once you’ve found another nice bench to sit on.

I'm glad people still like me writing characters other than the girls as well #but it seems as though for now I've become a cod girls centric blog haha #I don't mind. I'm just glad that people like my writing enough to want to request it. I'll write for just about anyone of the main charas #two exceptions apply but I refuse to write for them. i just genuinely don't like them #but I like Nikolai. he's good he's nice. he seems like someone who'd be great at giving bear hugs

not my usual style but this started as a doodle bc of the sole line of "Tempus and Evandrin operate on Studio Ghibli animation physics" from the notes to what endures beyond the silent edge (by @ultraviolet-eucatastrophe).

I think i gave up on it when it came to the coloring but it was still a fun sleep-deprived doodle i just finished. Evandrin's face i tried my best to draw in the style of ghibli films and then i just had fun with coloring.

“Guys, we literally just finished the first game,” Normal tries to pipe up in between the two, “Maybe it's time for a little break first?”

Love the way you drew Nate here! such a clean style and serious face :> He's my favorite little quadfocal guy... friendly, polite, and a good conversationalist! You're absolutely right, he's one of the easiest people to get along with. It's almost like he knows exactly what to say to people.

Sera isn't grumpy so much as she is disinterested and dismissive. She heads to work without bothering to make small talk besides a basic "Hello." if she passes you by. Not the worst outcome, really, if silence doesn't bother you.

I wish strong feelings and emotions had a better way to feel like they translate to physical space. For me, personally, I get that shit cranked to 11 and if I can't get that shit out there and verbalized or shown it ends up making me cry. Fear about loss and change and thinking 30 years into the future? Cry. Have so much love in your body at once and can't let enough of it get shown to those who matter to you? Cry a whole lot. I used to put it towards art and especially personal poems or made up song lyrics or something but idk. I can't be staying up sobbing at 4 am due to random thoughts. Its always when I feel like I'm doing my best that this happens, idk if its just processing everything.

I know my emotional regulation skills aren't the best and I often go from a thousand yard stare to crying or a laughing fit or something. I don't want to be like this really, and often times this does happen when I think about loved ones a lot when I'm alone and I just end up wishing I was around someone I can feel loved by and love so much. Maybe I just want to be anywhere besides this 'home' where I know I'm actively seen as a nuisance and treated as a lesser person.

#This is one of those beating away awful thoughts about myself #They take a toll on me #But I do my best to not get self deprecating because I know its bad and CHRIST I'm just tired of it #I'm the happiest I've been in my (admittedly bad) memory! I have two amazing gfs #one of which is living around me now and I can hold and kiss and show I love her #Which helps so so so much #And amazing friends both online and in person #But its still so lonely at the end of the night.
