SO ABOUT THE WINTER SOLDIER

Jennifer Corbett has been posting about how she loves Winter Soldier. It’s her favorite Marvel movie. Everyone is saying that her posting this week about loving the movie is her hinting at Tech being CX-2. Which it totally could be.

But what if it’s hinting at an overall Winter Soldier-esque program?

In the Winter Soldier, several other super soldiers were created besides Bucky.

In episode 10, there are two very distinct troopers Hemlock was working on. They look very different from the clone assassins. Their armor and stats are unique. They look specialized.

Could this be the start of the Death Trooper Program? Or something else?

Why would these troopers need to be so specialized if Hemlock is pulling from a bunch of perfectly identical clones?

There’s only one clone squad I know of that needs specialized training and completely individualized armor.

What if they cloned the entire Bad Batch?

No troopers would be better suited to take them down than themselves.

it's actually, genuinely, honestly hilarious that in a fandom where popular ships include characters who are biologically related, characters with a 10+ year age gap who met when one was a teenager or even a child, and characters who have tried to kill each other, people hate on a friends-to-lovers ship with a <2 year age gap where the characters have a deep emotional bond and plenty of romantic subtext, because "they're siblings". my brother in the force they are literally not.

Obviously, Jason had a deep connection with Bruce. Which is why it destroyed him to find out that the Joker was still alive. Because, when you think about it, avenging someone’s death isn’t so much about their death as it is about their life.

That someone’s existence was so important to you—that they mattered so much—that the one who caused the absence in your life MUST be dealt with accordingly.

Now, we all know Jason won’t get the kind of satisfaction he craves from Bruce.

BUT!

I do think it would help him to see that his life had meaning. That he helped people. That he was good. That he mattered.

And for that to happen outside of Bruce.

(As a sidenote, I also think this is why it would be nice for Jason to learn about the whole “Dick killing the Joker after he namedropped Jason” thing. Because, again, I think it would help to reinforce that Bruce wasn’t the only one who recognized his existence. Bruce wasn’t the only one who had the capacity to acknowledge that Jason mattered.)

One of the biggest reasons I try to recruit all the characters in Three Houses isn’t just because I don’t want to kill them, but because if I do, I still have to go back to the monastery afterward. I still have to pass by their dorm rooms full of their belongings and know that’s where they spent their alone time and where they slept. I still have to pass by the spots they frequented the most. It’s not just the sad dialogue of characters reacting to the deaths, but passing by the spots I vividly remembered them hanging out at.

I realized this most in my first playthrough when I didn’t have the chance to recruit everyone and I accidently killed Raphael at Gronder. I didn’t have the enemy attack range turned on so I didn’t realize he was in range of attacking.

During an exploration, I was looking for Ignatz who was, unfortunately, in his dorm room... and I walked into the wrong room and into Raphael’s after he was killed and man that fuckin’ sucked! Feels bad but like, multiplied with big numbers, u kno??? ???

YES, IT’S A VIDEO GAME. YES, I HAVE HUMAN BEING FEELINGS ABOUT IT.
