i love when caldwell does that cartoon-ish double take when his characters aren't supposed to know something or they're slow on the uptake. he just hears this information & prepares & then he goes "wait whAAAAA--"
that man was made to play silly little guys with complicated do-gooder complexes.

(08/08!)
flurry of dancing flames, with the silly hair (affectionate)
[ID: two digital drawings of axel from kingdom hearts. the background is light blue and the colors are faded.
In the first, he is shown in a wide forward stance, as he takes a long step. Both arms are extended to the sides, and on either hand he holds his characteristic weapon, eternal flames. he grins, one of his eyebrows raised as his hair and the tail of his coat flare behind him.
the second is a close-up of his face. /End ID.]

i don’t condone cheating or ghosting but what else was simon supposed to do? he tried to break up with marcus and was manipulated into staying in a relationship he didn’t want and wasn’t ready for
as lovesick and selfish as wille was this season/end of last season he accepted the end of their relationship. when simon broke up with him he was obviously sad but he accepted it and (although it took him some time) eventually moved on in s2. hell even before he moved on he didn’t do any of the guilt tripping marcus does. as selfish as wille was he was always honest with his intentions and that’s more than i can say for marcus
i truly went into this season ready to defy the odds and not hate marcus but even when wille was selfish and hurting people with his actions he still showed how much he cared even if he was being petty. like when simon rebuffed his attempts at touching him and rekindling their old relationship without solving anything wille backed off. was he petty about it and made snide comments (‘is it okay if i sit here? i know how much you value your space’) but he still respected the touch boundary simon had set. he tried to let simon go after he realized he was happy with marcus. hell he even made polite small talk with marcus to show simon that he accepted their relationship because he’s learned that actions speak louder than words. as much as it was killing him he thought letting simon go was what was best for both of them so he was willing to do it
unlike marcus who preyed on simons insecurities and told him what he wanted to hear to keep him in the relationship. the way he blanked simon’s attempt to break up with him will never sit right with me
wille might have been selfish for not wanting to let simon go but marcus was more selfish for actively preventing simon from leaving

Idk man just the all-encompassing, gut wrenching, visceral grief Leonel would have to live with if he had survived<3 he's barely 30, he's just lost his brother, this other half of his being, his entire life is in pieces, he's a different man, he's disabled, he can't do his job and there's nothing else he's been taught to do, Bolsa forgets about him the moment he's not useful in bringing Fring down anymore, Hector is the only family he has left and he can't see him because he can't return to America.
Is there anyone left to care for him? To care about him?

The most upsetting thing is that people will treat it as a joke (which is p fair actually) when like. This is The most iconic video game character ever, and the fact that they replaced his actor (who can actually act) who's even gotten awards for being both the longest running VA for games and being in the most games as a VA, just shows how illumination and hollywood will treat actual voice actors like complete shit.
