hey, dream fans. dream fan here.

i dont use twt, i dont rlly follow any people who cover drama and so i found out ab the grooming allegations from the people i do follow vague posting ab it. which-- alr, im writing this just to vent and ill probably delete it later so here we go

im a bit annoyed at many peoples-- fans of dream-- response to this. a lot of its emotional, people being devastated by the news that a cc theyre so attached to is potentially a pedo. like yeah, fuck, that is pretty upsetting on its own. but where is the logic . the critical thinking. come on, people. you are capable of it. ive seen how capable you are.

now. to be fair a lot of the ppl i follow are young and very emotionally invested in this man and use twitter, and if i know anything about the damn internet its that twitter is some kind of fuckin virus. its emotionally draining, it is practically made for going after your sensitivities and insecurities and hopes and fears and all that shit.

the second i figured out the entire situation , i knew it wasnt true. dream is not a damn pedo, or a groomer, or whatever stupid big trigger word theyre throwing at him. and its simple why i know, why its so goddamn obvious.

its DREAM. and i say this with full confidence bc ive heard him talk. about his aspirations , his mistakes, his feelings, ive seen him act it out. weve seen it.

he lives with two extremely close and clearly stable, smart friends. he has many other friends who vouch for him, who have shown integrity and intelligence in their own right.

groomers are idiots. pedos are sick. there are reasons they are like that. dream is neither. he has so many good supports in his life, hes had rough patches as any young and learning and growing person would and he has SHOWN that hes learning and figuring shit out and hes progressing so well, listening and caring and again, its literally visible . the way he speaks ab things, the actions he takes.

i get how important that whole "listen to the victim" shit is, but god. that doesnt mean entirely fucking discard the evidence of innocence on one side of the accusations. take a step back from twitters poisonous moral fear mongering, take a step back from any emotional investment or parasocial feelings you have for dream. look at his behaviour objectively. hes not a villain, hes not a bad guy, hes not a stupid one, hes not the type of person who would do anything like that.

dont doubt what youve seen from this stupid fucking idiot minecraft youtuber. theres a reason you get so attached to him in the first place . hes genuine, hes easy to love because of it.

on the other side of this. the people accusing him very obviously have a malicious agenda. doing this at the height of his popularity, right after he face revealed and is getting ready to do entirely new content ? the wording they use ? god, its so cancel culture it hurts. fuck off with that shit. its disgusting how many times people try and spin popular ccs into pedos and how many fans fall for it bc theyre so scared its true. shut up your fear and think. i say this with a polite tone, bc i am too annoyed to be gentle.

take care of yourselves. please remember to think outside of twitter culture. form your own opinion, and when you do please try and consider things objectively and as critically as possible. twitter culture is a fucking curse.

ok so firstly i havent rlly dived into corkscrew rules so im not entirely caught up with shtopors lore (that is, if he has any more than the stuff i alr know) so i *might* be characterizing him wrong. if i am then whoopsie doodles

anywho i think its a rlly cute dynamic. shtopor is a big strong man with a tough exterior and a pretty intimidating aura, while movie dude is totally different in almost every way possible. he's literally just a dude. (pun intended) like hes just ur average joe but for some reason shtopor is like "omg i need him NEOW"

maybe its bcuz of just how opposing mdude is personality wise. he thinks things through and actually comes up with a plan, unlike shtopor, who usually rushes into something head first and without much thought. also he thinks mdude is like. rlly handsome. bro prolly kicks his feet and twirls his hair while thinking about him :P

these two would be ALL OVER each other whenever given the chance. shtopor is hardly ever seen without mdude practically attached to his hip. they go everywhere together too i think. mdude goes with him to the gym and just sits there watching shtopor work out like "wowie O_O"

also mdude would absolutely melt whenever shtopor talks in russian. he obviously doesnt understand it, but just hearing it is enough to make him go all giddy. shtopor could say something as simple as "it's your turn to take the trash out" and mdude would be like "siiiiiiiigh you're sooo dreamy.."

this can also go for nicknames/pet names too. mdude is an absolute sucker for them. shtopor has a bunch for him, mainly in russian obvi.

For context my main team consists of albedo, venti, xingqiu, and keqing and I’ve grown too attached to every single one of them that I have zero clue on who to switch out when wishing for eula

Venti <- this bitch is my platonic soulmate and we’d most likely beg to share rooms

I get the feeling that albedo and xingqiu would share one, bigggg room that they evenly halved. Dont ask why it just felt right, and albedo is more often in some spare room that he turned into a lab so xingqiu can invite whoever and let them crash in his room

Keqings the only one with a single room and i dont think shes mad about that because her room is,,, so full of paperworks,,, neat and orderly yes but pAPERWORKS-

Alr ive assigned rooms now so onto whatever happens inside *stretches fingers*

I’d say we’re pretty even in terms of whos responsible and whos not, so unless albedo becomes in charge of watching klee there shall be no fire to be committed

Its funny how we have a god and a nonbeliever under one roof, so i think keqing would be skeptical around venti. But of course, ventis playful nature and fun demeanor would likely win her over, so now she treats him like family as well

Though that said, she’d also find herself scolding both me and venti on our uhhhhh tendencies to be lazy HSHSHSH she fr tells me to stop procrastinating in game every five seconds, so imagine if she was put with mr wine aunt barsibado?

Cute friendship between albedo and xingqiu because theyve made a book together and two educational boys,,, the amount of braincells in one room is ridiculous

Remember when I said keqing was happy she had a single room? Its because of her rex lapis dolls. Neither venti nor xingqiu ever let her live that down.

In terms of cooking, venti and i are never allowed for our own good. Venti isnt a bad cook but hes definitely a chaotic one and i physically cant make pancakes if my life depended on it. Albedo is on cooking duty most of the time but if hes busy, xingqiu will do it (though he will throw out the carrots) because keqings often too busy

A recurring theme I find in this team is that we all look like responsible upkept high society people but behind the locked doors youll find keqing trying to get venti to get tf up, xingqiu and i raving about some fanfic, and albedo making something explode in his lab on accident

venti knows everyone he comes across, or at least can connect their face to someone he’s seen in the milleniums he’s lived — a relative or something. he’s the god of wind and freedom, so naturally he’s traveled to all nations in order to be free and see the world as he pleases.

given this, he knows everyone on your team. he can connect their faces to at least one of their distant relatives that he’s known before. that is, except for albedo, who was born of chalk. the first person in a while who he sees and knows nothing of, so he FREAKS THE FUCK OUT. he spends half of his time stressing over who he could possibly be the offspring of but ends up coming up short every time.

he falls under the impression that albedo just must be klee’s older brother who was just never mentioned, until klee confesses that they’re not related biologically. it remains the subject he loses his mind over at the bottom of each bottle.

ABAHSHAHSH I JUST LIKE THE IDEA OF VENTI BEING SECRETLY WATCHING OVER THEM ALL YKNOW? HE CARES MAN 💔

okay so when you were younger you never really cared about when you’d find your soulmate

because you knew that it wld naturally come to you

but as you grew you realised that your soulmate could possibly be on the opposite end of the earth and you actually had to at least try to find him

anyways abt yourself - you enjoyed arts and shit and wanted to major in fashion design

and so came the age of sixteen, after taking your major exam you decided that you would study fashion designing overseas since you thought that going overseas would open up more opportunities

and also just so that you could have a better chance at finding your soulmate

so initially you went to LA and studied there for two years

on you third year of college your school provided you with places to go for an internship

there were many great places honestly - France, Malaysia, Italy, S. Korea and a few others

you decided that you’d go to S. Korea cuz you thought that their fashion styles were unique and different as of western styles and you wanted to understand fashion as a global thing (does this actually make sense dkfkdkfksk)

i think i repeated this too many times but its just so that you cld find ur soulmate yeet

so fast forward you’re in SK and alr halfway thru your major project which was assigned specially for amateurs- to create a clothing line for Seoul Fashion Week

so you were working with this fresh university graduate guy and you had to admit, his ideas were hella impressive

it was unique in a way that traditional clothes were incorporated into modern clothings

your ideas weren’t bad as well, he thought that your skills were really impressive for someone in college

so the both of you decided to work on a two-piece line up which incorporated the hanbok in all of your pieces in some way

fast forward again to seven months later and D-day comes

you finally met all the other designers properly and greeted them one by one

you felt a little intimidated by meeting the other amateur designers honestly

they all seemed so good and actually had some experience beforehand so you were worried about how you seemed like to them

well, with my luck, i expected losing the chance. and i haven't rlly gotten around to testing diluc yet, so i dunno if his c1 is gonna be as useful as i think it might be. but either way, i still have a major soft spot for him due to him being my first 5*

and the only reason i'm being positive rn is bc my discord friends cheered me up, we have only 5 ppl in the server including me, so we're a rlly tight knit group. that, and bc i don't want to have a total breakdown unlike what i had with xiao's banner.

i'm also comforting myself with the fact that diluc is so attached to me that he willingly came home a second time and it's totally not bc rngesus hates me :))

i understand the feeling and i symphatize. as a mostly f2p player, cons is the last thing on my mind but i got him either way (altho i was hoping for venti, i thought i’d like to have jean or qiqi if im meant to lose 50/50). diluc is probs attached to us alr. yea thats right. he’s both of our first 5* and he just cant let us go.

im very happy that you have such a supportive circle of friends. aside from my anons in tumblr, i only have one other friend who is updated w my genshin shennanigans so we just hard carry each other bc we also share the same tier list. when gacha fucks us up, we’re each others supporting pillar. did i mention she’s also the one who got me into genshin?

after thinking about it for a few nights, getting diluc is not bad. no. not at all. (could’ve been childe but i’d take the other rich man)
