thinkign about laishuro but in a college au setting. mini fic kinda incoming im having brainworms.

toshiro keeps to himself and doesn't really talk to many people (but i like to think he's already good friends with kabru because they share some of the same classes together) but he shares this one class with this incredibly talkative guy that the professor absolutely despises named laios that always makes the class fucking bust out laughing. laios is the class clown but he's popular because he's just that guy that kinda knows everybody. and he sits next to toshiro and often asks him about assignments or to copy his notes because he didn't get to read all the slides on time. meanwhile toshiro's just like ok whatever (doesnt think anything of it)

since kabru already knows laios by default toshiro kinda gets roped into his whole friend group of different majors but i like to imagine they're all good friends because they're in the DnD club and toshiro's initiated like Immediately against his will. every now and then the club hangs out after classes and it's actually really Obvious that laios likes toshiro. he's like going out of his way to make sure the newbie is "comfortable" and other than kabru it's laios who toshiro ends up talking to the most. laios is sitting next to him the whole night, leaning in when toshiro needs to say something because it's super loud at the restaurant and everyone's like Lmao this is so painful.

kabru the instigator is like "guys let's add toshiro to the group chat" and he's making eyes at farlyn and marcille and chilchuck, who's just like fucking facepalming because they're horrible at being subtle, and it's laios who's like "OH YEAH TOTALLY, toshiro what's your number?????" so toshiro gives his number and he's added to the DnD group chat but really it was just a ploy for laios and toshiro to start texting each other. it works bc laios texts toshiro individually and says "hey its laios from bio i got ur number from the dnd gc i hope it's okay lol" i can see this fucking happening when kabru and toshiro are hanging out and kabru's like "bitch i FUCKING KNEW IT!!" and toshiro's like "of course i know it's him. why does he have to say that. he's very odd." kabru's just Staring at him like my dear friend laios likes you. toshiro's confused because ????? the thordens talk to like everybody on campus i think he's just friendly. and kabru says there's at least 20 other people in your class that he could ask for notes and assignments yet he always asks you. he's always asking all their friends where toshiro is when he's not around. he's like the first to look for toshiro when he walks into a room that laios KNOWS toshiro is in. he's always excited to see you to come club meetings. he texts you like every other day. he's even asked you to hang out, alone??? many times??? like how people ask each other on dates????

toshiro telling kabru its just to work on assignments together. and kabru brings up laios walking him all the way back to their dorm and giving him a hug, and toshiro can agree that's a bit Strange but it's "not even a big deal" until he's wide awake in bed at night thinking of the last time laios hugged him after walking him home and he's red in the face like FUCK. THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH ME.

anyways toshiro unable to handle the fact that what he has, as kabru calls it, is a Crush(TM) and refuses to believe it so he begins avoiding laios until it becomes a big thing. laios is genuinely upset and thinks he did something wrong. so he tracks toshiro down to ask him about it and he's rambling on about being an idiot and thinking he did something to make toshiro uncomfortable, toshiro doesn't rlly know what to do bc all his feelings the past few weeks have been piling up and is about to explode and he just. grabs laios and kisses him square on the lips.

a minute passes and they stare at each other. and laios is just like. Wat. toshiro's internally freaking out. and when he opens his mouth and says "laios-" laios cuts him off and very shyly asks, "can you... uh, can you do that again?"

toshiro just feels himself relax. laughs. and laios laughs. and toshiro kisses him again.

Not-So Fun Facts

Sally is an addict. Mostly narcotics (cocaine), but she has a collection of prescription drugs, too.

She came to Home recovered, but Howdy got her hooked again

She regularly hallucinates being outside, despite not having left her house in about six years.

I imagine her hallucinations are really unnerving, like liminal space. Something just isn’t right.

Some people have argued with me that Sally shouldn’t “be in such good shape”, but shes really not. She’s just thin, doesn’t mean shes healthy, in fact she’s just thin because she regularly skips meals either because she forgets or because shes high. Cocaine skinny isn’t in shape, PSA lol

Sally’s house is really, really gross. Sally wears shoes all the time in her own house because you literally can’t see the floor anymore and she’s scared of what she’ll step on. Its all trash, boxes from packages, noodle containers, definitely does not smell pleasant.

She fears social interaction so much, if she were to overdose, she would rather die then call for help. Not even her survival instincts overpower her agoraphobia.

About Y'shtola (up to 6.2 spoilers) (i guess this is a rant lol)

(no of days) since we talked about y'shtola has become a meme in my group chat of friends (that we mostly talk abt ffxiv)

in conclusion to the myriad of discussions we had, we came to a conclusion that Y'shtola is a missed opportunity, a lot of missed opportunity. When she turned blind it was said that to see she consumes more aether than usual, dying at a faster rate, but her eyes now are just another super power, remember how they were still trying to understand dynamis and aether? she had the upperhand at that. and she had put herself in danger, in death's way twice, after the shb self-sacrifice-false-death-thanks-to-emet, the endwalker bit where one by one the scion dissipate stops feeling dire when it happens to her and she said something along the lines of they'll return or something. by the end of endwalker everyone had arcs, everyone had character moments that gave them growth, everyone except yshtola, ok maybe the story line with runar but thats abt it. thats why, the talk before the big night, when we get to choose who is at our door, yshtola's scene was the weakest to me.

to me, she just feels like someone you work with, unlike the others who i feel has a more personal connection or fleshed out personality. she's dependable but a bit flat, like i said previously, missed opportunity on giving her actual consequences for her actions to give her arc/growth. but then my mind changed a bit after a scene in 6.2

varshan made a deal with zero to give her his aether as payment and was supposed to do so after fighting barbariccia, but before he could do so she collapsed. they took her to her room, she isnt waking up, i think varshan mentioned how maybe he should give the aether now, but they all decided its best to bring her to the source bc theres ambient aether. they arrived at the source and varshan mentioned again abt giving his aether - which was part of the deal - and y'shtola said, no need, just give her food when she wakes up... mind you this deal was between varshan and zero, and even zero made a comment about "thats not what we agreed upon on" but later adds "oh well, aether is aether" as she eats from the apples provided. this seems something small, insignificant even, but if i made a deal with someone and they changed what they should be providing after i delivered my end of it i would be pissed. they want zero to heal trough the ambient aether and food form source? sure, but varshan and zero still made that deal, i would assume the void is a place where the contracts they made matter, and well in my exp the exact words chosen in contracts matters, a lot. this bit made me think of yshtola from, a somewhat OP character that had missed moments of character growth to, she's kinda a mary sue isnt she. i know im overthinking this, but its like she could never be wrong and even if its someone else's deal she gets to say the right thing to do :/

i dont hate her but im mildly starting to see her as annoying bc of this

Dragon Name: Crunchy (you know cause its a egg biter)

Notes: I feel like I took a bit of a different turn to how you wanted it and I apologise, I just couldn't fully remember what happened so went with the parts of the story I do remember.

"Ow!" I exclaim as the set of dragon teeth that were already gently nibbling on my arm bit down harder.

I look to my side to be met with a playful look from my dragon, Crunchy. An annoying pest that almost took my arm off the first time we met. She let's go of my arm and nods her head towards the door of my hut.

"Did I miss something?" I mutter walking into the clubhouse where everyone else is. "Oh."

The Twins were chatting in their little duo, but the others were all surrounding a gorgeous girl that looks to be around our age, with raven hair and green eyes that leave me completely dazed. My mouth hangs open for a second in shock.

"Uh hi everyone? Sorry to interrupt, but who's this?" I ask as I walk to the others, catching their attention. The girl's eyes meet mine as I walk further towards her and the others.

"oh yeah! Y/n you never met Heather did you?" Snotlout suddenly announces. So her name is Heather then?

I raise my hand to see if she'll shake mine. She does. To this I smile and politely not my head at her. She returns the motion.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Y/n. I've been a rider for a while but I guess I've never had the luck of meeting you."

"It's nice to meet you too Y/n, I'm Heather." She then forms a grin on her face. Me, Heather and Astrid start up a conversation as though we've been close friends for years. Technically me and Astrid have been but, you know. That's not the point.

The others leave for a bit to do their various jobs around the Edge, leaving me to give a to Heather around the Edge.

"So, do you have a dragon too?" I tilt my head to her to show that im curious. Heather giggles lightly at my slightly odd behaviour.

"Yep, a razorwhip, Windshear. She's really sweet." As she finishes this sentence there is a slight yelp from a dragon down by the stables.

We rushed towards the sound and see the aforementioned razorwhip lightly snarling at a cheeky egg biter that has attached herself to the metallic tail of Windshear.

I quickly exclaim "Crunchy!" I wave my hands to signal the egg biter to let go. I suddenly turn to Heather, "I'm so sorry about her, she doesn't mean any harm. She just likes to nibble a little on things she's taken interest in."

Crunchy finally let's go and drops to the floor below and playfully pats the floor by Windshear, who then looks to her rider for support in what to do. Heather finally let's out a hearty laugh at the entire scene and makes a shooing motion to Windshear.

"heh- It's fine don't worry, she seems cute." She continues to chuckle, calming down from the giggle fit she had. My face grows hot from embarrassment and something else.

When she got no response from Windshear other than a few confused gurgles, Crunchy hops over to me and Heather. She spots the ravenette and quickly placed her head under her hand. Heather naturally starts to stroke her scaly head. Crunchy began to purr slightly.

I panicked slightly when I saw Crunchy abruptly open her eyes. She looked directly at me and moved her face, level with Heathers hand. She let her teeth be seen and the panic further set in. To my surprise however, she lightly took the hand between her teeth and gently seem to nibble on it. How come she can't be like that with me???

After this experience me and Heather bonded over our dragons and their strange behaviours. The dragons also became seemingly great friends as Windshear had finally understood what Crunchy wanted.

We had spent time going on missions and working together for a while, but soon came a horrid time for Heather. Her brother, Dagur. He had gone directly into a trap and died. For her. So she would be safe.

Honestly I would do the same, but like I would ever say that out loud to her. I believe that I've developed feelings for her.

Outside the rain continues to pour down at a quick pace. We had all split off to our respective huts, except for Heather who didn't currently have one. She is going to get ill if she doesn't come inside.

I leave my hut and look into the rain and see her stood alone. I make my way slowly, just to give extra time to cool down.

"Heather?" She doesn't reply so I continue. "Heatheryou need to come inside, you'll get ill" I continue walking until I reach her sobbing figure. The look on her face tears me apart. The hurt and pain in her eyes doesn't subside when she looks at me finally.

She says nothing but nods and begins to walk away, presumably to where she's been camping out. I swiftly catch a hold of her hand. She turns and I nod towards my hut. No words were spoken as I whistle for Crunchy to leave her pen in the stables and come to the hut.

She lights my fireplace and curlse up near Heather who sat on a seat, still quietly sobbing.

"Heather please let me know if you need anything else, I'll set up a space for you to sleep tonight so you don't need to go back out there." I give a kind smile and walk to prepare everything.

It's been a while since I've properly seen Heather, she told me that she was very thankful that I gave her a place to stay that night and soon had left after the next day.

I've been missing her, honestly. Crunchy is missing her best friend too. Although, Heather is more than just a best friend to me. She's found a way into my heart and I have no idea how to get rid of these feelings.

The riders had noticed our slightly dampened moods and so they kept holding these secretive meetings that I was never allowed into.

The Edge was quiet as the others had all fallen asleep. The moon was high in the sky, seeming so much brighter than the sun at times. Even though that's false, I just like to think it.

"Ouch! Hello to you too Crunchy."

I strain my neck to see Crunchy attaching herself to Heather. She let's go and instead switches her attention to Windshear.

My eyes widen and I quickly get up to sprint at her, I open my arms and practically tackle her to the ground. Heather laughs and hugs back.

"Heather, I've missed you so much!" my smile is so large it kind of hurts. "I suppose it's a temporary stay again, but I'm so so happy you're here."

She continues to laugh at my excitement, "No actually, I'm staying. Permanently."

Somehow my eyes widen even more, I giggle with excitement. "Really?"

"Really. I've heard a certain someone has taken interest in me, I just happen to return that feeling." She narrows her eyes in suspicion cheeks lightly dusted with a pink hue.

"Don't worry I don't bite." My smile becomes a lot more gentle as I lay beside her on the grass staring at the stars. The dragons rolling around and playing a little way away from us.

"Is it ok? That I like you, I mean" She's cautious with her words. I turn with a confused expression.

"Didn't I just admit to having feelings for you, don't make me feel stupid now." I chuckle abut continue to not give off the wrong impression "It's completely fine, because the feelings are mutual."

She holds one of my hands gently and reaches with her other to get my other hand. I give a curious look as she raises both of our hands. She suddenly yanks the second one that she wasn't holding before into her mouth and she lightly bites down.

"HEY"

SO fhdjsaf you're right on the money with Yoongi and MC not knowing how to communicate with each other for SHIT. Like I think they rely on telepathy or vibes too much, neither of them are mind readers... so much of their conflict these past two chapters could have been resolved if they just sat down and talked calmly about things for an hour or so!!! 💀BUT stop it right now Butterfly is one of my favorite BTS songs, so so gorgeous on the piano, and I could imagine a very similar melody that Yoongi would write for MC being something like that too. 🦋

HNNNNGGGFF Yoongi all sweaty on the court without his shirt.... damp long hair....teasing MC the whole way UGH I just know that I'd be drooling! 🥵And with that vision WHEW I'm so happy I could incorporate that into MC's character finally, I will say that this is something that will begin to happen more frequently for MC-- ever since she has been diving more into her spirituality and practices, her psychic abilities have been getting stronger.

The kiss. THE KISS!!! I'VE BEEN DYING TO WRITE SOME ROMANCE FOREVER NOW MY GOODNESS IT TOOK 13 CHAPTERS!! I just feel like Yoongi is such a 0 to 100 kind of guy when it comes to kisses, sweet and tender to begin with, then BAM super passionate and intense. I really really loved writing that scene, I'd say that Yoongi was truly desperate and yearning for MC for so long that he couldn't help but beg for more hnnnnngggg. But now they have to tip toe around for a little bit until they figure out how to tell the others, which turns into MORE yearning and AH I wanna chew on my drywall!!!! 👹

djkafdakfdask I'm excited to continue off where we left off! You know I always gotta leave you all on a cliffhanger. I wonder how MC is going to dodge Hoseok's questioning, and we don't know if he heard those two making out (he shouldn't have been able to, the music room is soundproofed...) or was perceptive to how weird MC and Yoongi were being with each other. I also feel like if Hoseok heard them, some of the others would as well, and I can think of a few (Namjoon, Tae, Seokjin for ex.) that would probably bust down that door!!! But also your theory of Hoseok possibly catching their kiss in the hallway is something that could have happened eeeee. Also I love teasing Hoseok as well he raises my blood pressure... poor MC can't even hide her heartrate from them!

UGH Jinnie's birthday he's such a sweet darling, I love that he was able to go out somewhere yummy to eat and spend time with everyone. I also really love when he feeds MC... it's so hot to me idk why like yes PLS grab my face and stare at me and treat me like a princess Jin!!! Always making sure she's warm, wanting to go to the cooking class with just her, and feeling truly at home with her and in their house I CAN'T He's just such a love. 😍

Tae baby... just like Jin, he knows where home is now and AH they're just all getting so close. You're so right, they really cherish her so so much. Tae and his photography too is so fun to write about, it's nice that he gets to express himself creatively and the other hybrids let him take their ID pictures was a sweet hidden moment that I'm happy you noticed!

Definitely more Jimin on the way!! It's been the Yoongi show for a bit, but that's just how I've planned these few chapters. Don't worry, each of them will get their turns to be the stars, which I'm super excited about in the future! Charmer Libra Jimin is my Roman Empire, totally more of a flirt and a romantic as time goes on. Joon UGH!! My little wolf, he's warmed up so much to MC, and he's very straightforward and stern like you said-- ever since the Incident, he seems to be very concerned about weather or not MC is feeling upset.

HA I love writing MC and Jeongguk's interactions, they're both such little shits and you can tell when they get on each other's nerves, but it's less antagonistic these days and more playful. He totally called her out for pouting, and while it might work for some of the others, it doesn't on him LOL. But she got him back with that kiss, huh? I bet she's been dying to do that for months...

I'm PSYCHED you mentioned Ben. He's my favorite side character to write, and it's nice that MC is able to confide in him about any of her worries. You're right, he totally caught onto her having crushes on all of them (it's probably dead obvious to him) But ahh it makes me so happy that you love him as well!! I agree, I'd probably act the same way towards MC if I were Ben-- teasing her but trying to encourage as well. 🫣

Ayah - (Paprikko-lol)

I love ayah!! Her powers are so cool- I always thought smoke was such a cool power, and shes just. WOW shes cool and pretty! If you want to infodump on me ever, I'm all ears! Her clothes are really cool too, but I actually found out when drawing her my pencil pack comes with NO purples, so I had to find an itty bitty crayola pencil instead 😭. I love her design though!

Hanan (giftofjay)

Ok. Minor confession: when I got to your character you had deactivated your account by then, so I had a little bit of trouble finding your character's ref again! Still, I'm really glad I found it, because your character has such a cool design. A master of healing is such a cool idea- why haven't they made one yet!! I'm starting a petition to make Hanan canon, haha. I also read the info posts about her, so I gave her painting supplies because shes an artist! I love her so much 💛⭐

Chat has such an awesome character design- im totally jealous of her hair. As I was drawing her the hair was the most fun part I'm totally obsessed with it! As for her lore, I'm super curious about her relationship with the other SOG members 👀. Also, it was my first time drawing sunflowers, haha, so they might be a little wonky! Still, Chat totally rules, and she was super fun to draw- especially her hair! The ombre is soo pretty <3

I'm soooo sorry about his skintone- my gray pencil was having the worst day of its life and i erased it like twelve times 😭. Still, theres some extra stuff I tried to put in there. The skeleton guy is supposed to be an angel, and the necklace his hand is on is supposed to be angel feathers! (I was thinking they might be remnants of his wings 👀). I was inspired by priest clothing I found online. JMN is a really cool character and as I was drawing him I kept thinking of stuff to add- I love the idea of fallen angels!

Viridius (fiddler-sticks)

Viridius is such a goofy goobster I love him SO much. I drew him in the midst of a water balloon fight with his classmates (ten bucks says he started it, haha!). Its so sad that other kids dont like him- I hope he gets a cool power it better friends to make up for it lol. But hes such a fun character. Drawing a snake man was a little difficult, but I had a lot of fun drawing him, and I liked the detailed descriptions you gave alongside them!

ok just need 2 get this out of my system so. dump. tlaking. chit chat even. uhm frost king is evil wizard's son , made with magic !! i dont have a specific way he got made with magic yet but im kinda thinking on his crown

maybe his body just formed from that then ykno. tjats that he is snake like-ish like his dad. ok? he got like snake skin but not snake snake super snake skin if that makes sense, its just a bit similar (like evil wizard's snake eyes!!!!) -> then . then painter is necromancer's son i havent made a super huge idea abt it me and my brother were just in vc once and he said "frost king is evil wizard's son then painter is necromancer's son". we laughed from there so thats where dat came from. but i hav no idea rough idea is just that he was a little magic experiment . lik e school project for reference but he wasnt an actual school project obviously

little idea i had a bit ago is that necromancer is also an artist so both he and painter r artists wow. # father son bond thing. -> cyclops is both evil wizard and necromancer's son!! yay!!!!!!!!!!! ok we didnt wanna leave cyclops out from frost n painter so we were like evilmancer fankid slash j n then it formed from there. he doesnt have any 'origin story' in my mind so thats just the concept - yay relationships. relatthet erelations hip the relastionshi p belo 4 belo industrial prince and frost king are dating. yay. it was originally a joke as most things here were just because me and my brother didnt like them but then we were like! ok wait it kinda makes sense industrial prince for some reason just?? has a telescope that just oh so happens to be right at frost king's castle window like whts up with that AND THEN frost king looks OVER to industrial castle like why!! why! whats ur reason man??? (i mean obviously its just to connect the lvls together plot wise but i think about it too hard)

LITERALLY: THEY HAD M&G FOR HIGHEST TEIR PATRONS AND IT WAS SO WORTH IT 100/10

in a "how did it go?" way: it was awesome!! my anxiety melted quite a bit while shane was talkin to us for the qna. (ryan was doin sound check i think the theater was a lil wonky but he came over later) i gave them my painting and bracelets and they were super nice and said the brushstrokes were very artistic (kdnkdkfks thank u) and after some chatting with the group we got in line to take pictures and i handed lizzie the 1 million bracelets i made for team watcher, and my camera for pictures. told shane about us columbia folk, and had shane write "if im gonna stop, this looks like a really wonderful place to do it" for my tattoo, told them about how their bts content inspires me (ryan was like ? really? i feel like i talk about chips or something. which was funny like... yeah. but also just hearing how its made is always cool [i didnt say that my words were getting mixed up in my head]) then they signed my book and we took pics !!!

im definetly forgetting details but once i get out of the im so excited im constantly stimming out of joy itll come back to me lol. also it was so hard for me to make eye contact (tism) but when i did it was really cool

hopefully i can do m&g next year if they do another round of tour and ill be a little more relaxed and conversational cus i lost words and got lost in conversation a little

super nice understanding guys! down to earth, after a few minutes i was like yeah these are just some guys that make really fun and good videos, and i happen to look up to alot [tall/short joke here].

i wasn't gonna write this and just ramble all this to a friend but i was like "why am i gonna torture them" /lh i love you damien

anyways i am only on s1 e15 so this might not be canon compliant to the manga or to swordsmith village or to season 2 and happens before all of that sadness

but anywho, please enjoy this and happy reading! :D all of this was very rushed bc of how fast i wanted to write this so sorry if its bad lol

tanjiro is obviously a really determined kid, nothing really gets in the way of his journey or protecting his friends and nezuko

but i like to think that he has plenty of lovey dovey fantasies, sleeping beauty and cinderella type of thing where he thinks everyone is destined for love and that if you wish for it enough, it will come to you

but he can also be very oblivious so as much as he believes in soulmates, you would have to slap him across the face (though why would you do that?) for him to realize he was looking at the future love of his life

he's still a kid so the idea of love is very innocent to him and thats why i love him <3 but he can't really tell anyone about all of his daydreaming because zenitsu would give him a hard time and inosuke would laugh in his face

but tanjirou most definitely can't stop for too long in the places where he's assigned missions in (he wants to explore, he's naturally curious like that!) so in turn, he doesn't really have the time to fall in love or even have a crush

maybe one day he stops in a city or town, there's a festival going on and he's trying to get past all the crowds of people to get out of the city and get to his next mission

and maybe it's the cliche of you running away from someone (probably a bully) and you run into tanjirou and immediately scramble to hide behind him and beg him to help you, you'll do anything!

so now he has no choice but to give you a hand (he'd think about it for days if he didn't) and once he convinces the person to leave, you're on your hands and knees thanking him as he tries to reassure that it was his pleasure

"let me buy you a meal! it's the least i can do!" you say with a grateful smile; you don't give tanjiro time to respond as you take his hand and lead him to some food stands just a few feet away

from there, you treat tanjirou to more than just a meal, but snacks and even some local activities (im not japanese guys but i know there are plenty of super fun stuff to do)

once you actually look at him, you feel grateful that you stopped him when you did: his kind smile had you pleasantly staring at him, the way he would fluster so easily when you would compliment him, and just how overall nice he was for seemingly no reason

by the time you knew it, the streets were becoming quieter and less crowded and the night was cooling down but neither you or tanjirou had tried to stop talking

"oh, are you cold? here, you can take my haori." tanjirou says with a smile; how he had noticed the way you rubbed your hands over your arms made you flush a bit and even more so when he places the haori over your shoulders

it was warm with a soft scent you couldn't recognize on it but it wasn't necessarily unwelcome. a smile stretches onto your face before you look up at him; "aren't I supposed to be treating YOU? you must be hard to date, tanjirou." you tease, wrapping the haori over yourself a bit more as you nudge his arm

"ah, i couldn't let you spoil me like that, that would be selfish of me. i'm just as happy seeing you comfortable." he says with what you were learning was a signature smile

at that, you stop walking as a small laugh bubbles out of you which in turn makes tanjirou stop, a confused smile on his face as he looks at you; "what's so funny? did i say something?" he says as you start to step toward him

"nothing. you're just unreal, tanjirou. just perfect." you say, biting your lip to hide the growing smile on your face when you see a slight red on his cheeks now

of course, he immediately turns away and offers to walk you home, making up the excuse that he had somewhere to be the next morning; "not that i don't want to hang out, but it's pretty late! i don't think we should be out for much longer." tanjirou says when you tease him about wanting to get rid of you

once at your door, tanjirou bids you a good night but doesn't ask for his haori or move away: just stands there and looks around as you shift on your feet

"is the haori keeping you warm? it always helps me." "yes, thank you."

silence again until tanjirou clears his throat, the way red starts crawling up his neck making you tilt your head with a smile on your face

"if you're going to ask for my hand in marriage, tanjirou kamado, the answer is we are teenagers." you say, laughing when tanjirou's face turns a bright red before he starts to ramble about how those weren't his intentions

you finally get him to calm down, hand touching his arm as you squeeze it; tanjirou stands a little bit straigher when you do that, averting his eyes to the ground and mumbling an apology for losing his temper

"i need to go. but come and find me if you pass through here again. i'd be more than happy to treat you again." you say, earning a smile from tanjirou before, all in one motion, you take a step forward and kiss him on the cheek, disappearing into your home

tanjirou stands in shock with his hands hanging uselessly in the air before he realizes: he never got his haori back. he'd have to come back tomorrow. and get it. and see you.

mumbling to himself, he walks away from where you had just left him, cupping his cheek as a gentle smile starts to grow on his face

alerted by the noise and movement (and the fact that it was very late at night), nezuko pokes her head out of her box and looks to her brother who perks up at his sister's presence

"sorry about all the noise! we'll go somewhere quieter soon." tanjirou says, smiling at his sister before he stops to let her leave the box

she looks towards the spot where she had felt the presence of another person before looking at tanjirou, pointing towards the house; her brother's face flushes a bit as he looks everywhere but at her, waving her off with a nervous smile

"ah, i just...made a friend is all, don't worry about it! we should go now!" tanjirou says with a smile on his face as he takes nezuko's hand and starts to lead her away, already planning the next day with you; and totally only to get his haori back

in all seriousness, i love this show so far, such a good story and super cute characters (except for muzan, i hate that guy but i want him so bad) but i have yet to read the manga so bear with me here!

hi queer friends in my phone i hope u have all been having an ok month so far 💖 im sorry i havent been online very much lately, its like 80% just me being forgetful except to hop on my phone app for like ten mins to browse my dash and reblog something and get distracted by another non phone related activity LOL. my bestie Eli is here still until the rest of the month and we finished our rewatch (their first watch, my like......who even knows the specific numbered rewatch) of Avatar The Last Airbender a couple days ago and that was very fun and exciting, it was wild getting to those last few episodes in the final season and just totally getting brought back to being a kid in my head when the show was actively airing on tv and i was sitting in my bedroom exploding from sheer special interest excitement watching the story wrap up on the super small box tv i used to have like 15+ years ago 😭🫡 we haven't started watching Legend Of Korra yet since we just finished ATLA and need to like. take a lil Avatar media break before jumping into another entire finished series fhdhdhsfsshhgd but excited for whenever we start that too!! Eli showed me a fav movie of theirs the other night called Thoroughbreds and i REALLY liked it, fellow toxic yuri enjoyers i truly cannot recommend that one enough those girls have Problems In Abundance and i love that for them and also me.

OH OH OH ALSO on my birthday after we got home from out of house activities we watched that Nic Cage movie 'Dream Scenario' that i've wanted to see so bad since the first trailer for it dropped online a while back, and i am truly not just being dramatic when i say i think that is my favorite movie i've seen this year and it will be Difficult for another movie to win over that 2024 Fav Spot in my mind, it was exactly what i wanted it to be and MUCH MORE LMAOO IT WAS SO GODDAMN FUNNY. very specifically Me And Eli's Kinda Stupid Sense Of Humor throughout the whole run time we were fuckin losing it at every other scene. that was a wonderful lil birthday treat.

also the antique mall we were gonna go to ended up being closed on the day of my birthday so we went to a big mall off-Cape that i like instead and have been to a few other times for past birthdays cus they actually have a bunch of different types of stores with stuff i actually enjoy unlike the more local mall we have here that is 100% dying a slow agonizing Mall Death lmao. went to Build-A-Bear and they had that one bear style in stock that literally just looks like a femme lesbian with the lesbian flag colors and perfect lil eyeliner so i made a Chappell Roan inspired pop star outfit wearing lesbian colored bear (saw someone else online do that a lil while back with the same style i chose so i couldn't resist doing it myself when i saw it was at the store hfsfgsvsgshshdg) and the ppl working there that day were all super chill and friendly and most likely around me and Eli's age or maybe a few yrs younger than us, the person who helped me make my bear specifically was really friendly and fun to talk with cus while we were in there it was pretty much just us and the employees for the majority of the time, he like immediately picked up on me being A Very Obvious Femme Lesbian on account of The Femme Lesbian Bear and also The Very Over The Top Femme Alt Outfit I Was Wearing and we chatted abt being gay and trans while he was stuffing the bear it was such a genuinely sweet and wonderful interaction, he was also autistic and we got to briefly bond over Build-A-Bear being mutual life long autistic special interests of ours and he seemed rly happy to hear that i was turning 27 that day and was still actively wanting to spend birthdays making custom stuffed animals there it was just really great all around 😭💕 also before the mall closed later on we did a quick stop at the FYE store that was there (i always get very excited when i see a still active FYE store anywhere cus it was a childhood fav place of mine to shop but our local mall closed ours when i was a teenager lol) and there was a small stand set up with some ATLA merch and i got a fully functional Momo backpack/crossbody style bag that i am so incredibly psyched about having fjdgedfdhsshfg it is very cute. and anyone who knows me knows i love adding a silly lil functional novelty bag to my collection of silly lil novelty bags. so it will be getting much use from me out in the world

anyways!!! thats pretty much what i've been up to, just figured i would hop on and write a mariska life update so everyone here knows i didnt just like. drop off the face of the earth lol
