a celebratory post: i have just experienced the most fruitful writing 24 hours of my entire life. at 3:30am last night, i started a new fic, wrote maybe 3k in the hours before I slept? continued the next evening at 5pm, and since then the document has reached the grand total of... 12.5k words!! :D

#im proud of myself ok <3 #does this mean my writing well will dry up for 5 months after this? maybe. maybe. probably #this fic spawned out of me plucking at my head hairs and being suddenly Struck with inspiration btw. related to the hair yanking #it's surprisingly hard to pull out individual strands of hair when it's short. anyway #we are 3 and a bit chapters in and i'm happy with the pacing too #haven't gone over to edit yet so we'll seeee how that goes #anyway hopefully this sudden motivation carries me through the whole fic. hopefully the whole holidays #do i still have a million WIPs? yes. should i be working on the published WIP that has some very lovely people awaiting new chapters? yes. #is this likely to become yet another unfinished WIP? most definitely! but that's Ok because i am having Fun and that is all that matters #when it hit midnight i was still writing and made sure to add the wordcount to friends words doc #at long last my month-long streak of 0s has been interrupted #yea i also upped my word goal from 7k considering i was at 9k by midnight pdhdf

it turns out switching brushes and listening to upbeat music actually makes a huge fucking difference!!!!!!!!!! why i was using a pressure sensitive brush for both lineart and coloring even i don't know. no wonder my wrist hurt so much the other day ESHDHDSH

cringetober day 30 (halloween)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh my GOD i actually finished a full month prompt list for once!!!!!!!!! im so proud of myself!!!!!!!!! i drew my sonas in costume and then a halloween party featuring some of my ocs from the story in my head <3 yippeeeee now i can sleep-in (in the art department) for a month ^-^

#cin.txt #i read more but they were online (mostly manga) #if i included manga it would not fit this shelf LOL #but im pretty proud of myself ^_^ #i went from i think 0 books last year to this HEH #to 24 books WHEEE #thats SO many i dont think ive read this much since i was im primary school #and the books are in order as well so the ones on the right are the more recent ones #in the beginning i kinda gravitated towards easier to read novels (the how to survive camping series was fun and easy to read since they #were originally stories on reddit so they were a good starter in getting me back into reading) #and then i just read like popular books that everybody seemed to recommend #and as i kept reading i could feel myself developing a preference for certain types of books which i liked <3 #i also think i had a good mixture of types of books WHEE #this has liek non fiction. ya. mainstream. classics. obscure. plays and poetrys #im excited to read more in the upcoming year c: #okay top 3. a man called ove. the complete maus. and...
