Here’s the thing. While you’ve been hopping around London, doing interviews and press and meeting all sorts of talented musicians, Jamie’s been doing his own work. Namely, badgering Keeley about his chances with you.

“She’s really pretty,” he confessed in the car on the way home from Isaac and Stella’s. “She’s like, fucking I don’t know, ethereal or some shit.” Keeley’s basically passed out, which is why Jamie is talking so freely. He knows she won’t remember shit. 

“Learned that word the other day,” he continues, “It’s like something you see can can’t totally understand. Or like, out of your league. Anyway, that’s her. Think she was all freaked out, though. Maybe too many people. Weird, innit, international star like her anxious in a crowd of people. But I really liked talking to her. Fuck, Keeley, she’s smart. You can tell in her lyrics.”

Keeley responds with a snore.

Jamie chuckles. “Yeah, alright, we’re almost to Roy’s. Don’t breathe a word of this to anyone, yeah? Like I said, not like she’d go with someone like me anyway.”

Jamie severely underestimated Keeley’s ability to retain juicy gossip. Yeah she was sloshed, so much so that Roy had to carry her inside and onto the bed, but that didn’t stop her from sending Jamie a text the next morning that said, ?????? and a gif of your face.

Jamie replied in kind. ??????

U fucking kno what im asking, Keeley replied. U like her.

Jamie responds, that aint a question, keels

Fine, Keeley writes, here’s one

What the fuck did you mean, ‘someone like me????’

Jamie grimaces and puts his phone down. He’ll respond to that later but now, he has to go running around the field and puke his guts out because Roy’s a fucking sadist.

Jamie’s been a fan of your music since, like, your first single. He’s not even sure how he first heard it but he did, and then he’d listen to it when no one could catch him.

Then you started gaining popularity, and it was more acceptable for him to listen to your soft yet upbeat songs. He came home one weekend to find his mum playing Blue Glass on a speaker in the kitchen, and they sat down at the counter and listened to the entire album, not speaking the whole time while Simon puttered around cooking dinner.

He’s followed your career through the trade from Manchester to Richmond, then back to Man City and then Richmond again. 

And yeah, he’s had a little bit of a crush.

But god, there’s no fucking way he has a shot in hell. Sure, he’s the Premier League’s top player, but you? You’re on another level.

Paps don’t even bother trying to slander you anymore because they’ll never find a speck of dirt on you. There are always pictures of you volunteering, or visiting kids in hospitals, or petting dogs or some shit. Stuff that’s usually staged, but with you it isn’t.

You’ve never had a scandal hit the papers, always been spotted out with a famous model/actor/singer boyfriend who has never once been seen cheating on you. Jamie wonders if anyone could even consider cheating on someone with as much talent and kindness as you seem to possess.

Anyway, you’d never go for someone with his relatively checkered past. All you have to do is google “Jamie Tartt,” and there he is, making out with models, headlining cheating scandals, and having sex in fucking jacuzzis.

Yeah, you’d never go for it.

But as he’s at training, running drills and practicing goals, he keeps thinking about the way you looked with your feet in the pool, hair blowing softly in the breeze.

He decides to have a serious chat with Keeley.

He turns up to Keeley’s house and fucking Roy’s there, except this time it’s not really a surprise. Roy opens the door, scoffs, then walks away. 

“Prick’s here,” he calls to Keeley somewhere in the house, except it’s not as angry as it used to be. Jamie can almost trick himself into thinking it’s affectionate.

“Hello to you too, grandad,” he says to Roy’s back. Roy grunts and heads to the kitchen, presumably to finish making dinner. 

Keeley bounds down the stairs and wraps Jamie in a hug. “Glad you’re here, babe. Now we can have a good chat.”

She leads him to the couch and hands him a fluffy pink pillow, one that Jamie remembers throwing across the room more than once. Fuck, there’s another reminder why he shouldn’t even be thinking of seeing you again. He couldn’t properly emote when he was with Keeley, so how’s he supposed to navigate a serious relationship?

“Oi, stop overthinking,” Keeley says, snapping her fingers in front of his face.

“Weren’t overthinking,” Jamie replies automatically. “And since when are you a mindreader?” 

Keeley grins at that. “I’m not. Your face was just all twisty and shit, which means you’re actually using your brain for once. So come on, out with it.”

Jamie’s not entirely sure where to begin, but he opens his mouth and everything sort of comes spilling out. How he talked to you for ten seconds and is pretty sure he’ll never actually love again. And he’s convinced himself that he might have a shot but then he’s reminded of all his shitty choices and thinks he’ll never measure up but god fucking damnit, he wants something real and yeah, you’re another celebrity, but there’s something about your eyes or maybe it’s the way you move your hands, but he knows for sure that if you were just a regular girl he saw on the street, he’d feel the exact same way. 

Except neither of you are like, actually regular people, but for different reasons. And his fucking shitbag of a father is always looming in the back of his mind, especially since playing Man City the other week, and he won’t let his dad try to have any sort of hold over you because that would be shitty. So anyway, he’s pretty sure that’s everything and he’s probably going to die alone.

Keeley says, “Whoa,” with big eyes once he’s finished, and for a moment Jamie thinks she’s going to call a mental institute, but then she cocks her head and says, “Jamie, you do know that nothing’s actually happened, right? Like, you haven’t even asked her out?” and Jamie realizes that he’s been knee deep in his mind for a fucking long time.

“I mean, Roy’s no saint,” she continues while Roy shouts, “Oi!” from the kitchen, “and we still got together.”

Jamie just looks at her.

“Alright, bad example,” she says. “But hey, you’ll never know if you don’t try. I mean come on, you’re Jamie fucking Tartt! You’re like, the best footballer in all of England! And you’re right fit,” she says just loud enough for Roy to hear.

“I can’t cook for shit,” Jamie says miserably, and Roy barks out a short laugh while Keeley pats Jamie’s arm.

“You’re way too far in your fucking head, babe,” she says sympathetically. “Take it one day at a time, yeah? You don’t even know if you’ll see her again.”

YESSSSS YESSSSS I GET TO RAMBLE ABOUT ANOTHER SONG The World Is Ending by Matt and Kim !!!!!!!!!!!!! good GOD this song is so dear to me. Not because of the song really, but because of what the song means to me? The connections I have too it?????? Longish story short, someone made a killer AMV using it? The AMV using clips from the show Final Space! No clue if you have seen the show but no matter. Final Space is definitely up there as one of my favorite shows, not only because its good but because it actually helped me get closer with my dad, we watched it together! In other words I associate this song with just so much joy. The AMV if you were curious btw!

... honestly? Any song in a tv show that is played during a sad scene! A REALLY sad scene... one that comes to mind is Enter One by Sol Seppy (would recommend skipping to about 2:30), because it is played in the death scene of one of my all time favorite characters... alright im going to weep about that death scene more now because listening to this again is NOT helping pfft... oughh honestly now im tempted to add it to the 2AL playlist... maybe.

Still such a bop though!

Ok. Adventure Time by Yoann Turpin. I am usually not too big on 16 bit video game sort of vibes but this??? Is such a MASSIVE exception. Holy????? THE HEART THE GUY PUT INTO THIS SONG MAN. The beat is just so unique, its impossible to try and guess whats going to happen in the song next, you strait up feel like you are on an ADVENTURE. Phleps by C418!!! C418, the producer of the original music behind minecraft, but the guy has so much underrated personal music that is SO underrated! This song in particular, is vastly different from his usually stuff and I love it for that. YES oh my god it was like formative media for me genuinely and i still love yj dearly i was rewatching it like last month actually along with yaboyroshi's reactions to it 😅 we are both a little not normal about this show dw 🤝🏼 im putting the rest of this under a cut because i start Yapping

my fave characters were dick, artemis, jaime, bart, and zatanna! dick i was Obsessed with from the moment i laid eyes on him in hindsight for gender reasons, probably but artemis always meant a huge deal to me as a kid because she was like the only vietnamese character (and with a skintone like mine!) that i'd ever seen on a screen. i loved everything about jaime's character and personality and arc and i had a really soft spot for bart because characters who are very outwardly upbeat and fun but are going through a lot of shit and hiding it are my favourites ever usually 😅. i also liked rlly them as a duo. zatanna's sort of cool-girl sass was always really fun to see and i think especially in s4 where her sort of less-rigid morality had more room to shine, really made me appreciate her character more. OH also when they introduced cassandra wu-san/orphan in s3 i like literally cheered out loud 😭 shes one of my fave characters from dc comics in general, so i was already biased towards her and i really liked her depiction and the room they made for her arc

i'm actually not sure which character is the most like me... i think because i watched it so young a lot of the characters kind of made their way into my personality in one way or another. i think irl im most like dick but it could be wishful thinking 😅 i'm not as cool as he is for sure

season three.... i'm kind of on the fence about it? i will say though i think it was a little rough with the dialogue especially, and i definitely didn't bond as well with the outsiders as i did with the original team and then the s2 cast. violet was the most likeable of the group by far but i think i was really put off by the fact that they kept killing them 💀 like i get that you guys can do this now with the higher rating but there are better ways to show off your newfound creative freedom than repeatedly brutally killing them. it was offset with the majority of the other characters suffering from basically no visible injuries too- if they'd been hit with bruises or scrapes or broken bones or ANYTHING and reduced the harm dealt to vi then i would've been less urgh by it.

i also wish they'd introduced victor a bit earlier into the season instead of spending sooo much time with brion because cyborg's story felt a little tacked on at the end, and um i was annoyed by brion from the jump 😭😭 tried so hard to sympathise with him because to be fair he went through a Lot but he just kept being such an aggressive ass to like everyone. which i guess was the point.. didn't make it any more fun to watch though.

i do like that they kept with the huge mass of entangled threads of the plot that were to me the hallmarks of the earlier seasons, picking apart scenes to try and work out how things interconnect was always my favourite part. i think the cast of the show at this point for what they were trying to do and focus on may have exceeded the show's bounds though- it was still a compelling narrative but i imagine for a casual watcher who isnt as meticulously invested in who is who and can recognise adaptations of arcs from the comics it can get very confusing or frustrating. its hard because i Love the og cast too but i think with s3 they couldn't decide on letting them go or letting their new characters shine and it ended up muddying the waters a bit, with the outsiders suffering the most from it due to no nostalgia or prior narrative heft to keep them from looking secondary to the original members of the team.

with s4 they chose to throw their lot behind the old team, which i appreciated and it neatened the rough edges of the show more, but i do still miss the s2 cast quite badly so i actually kind of wish they'd kept expanding the cast but just narrowed focus onto the new characters for every season. the title of the show is young justice, so i personally would've liked to keep seeing a focus on the newer and rising heroes of each successive generation as opposed to returning again and again to the originals

sorry that this is such a wall of text 😅 but i think this is one of the shows that i could genuinely just like sit and talk about for ages and ages... even the characters i dont like at all have a fair amount of gravity and heft to them that i love. wally is still alive btw i will never stop believing 😤 get that man out of the speed force!

Wahhh I love your writings so so so much and you absolutely deserve 500 and more ToT seeing your posts always makes my day!! I saw the match-up event and knew I had to join, it'll be my first time trying one of those!

It is kinda hard to describe myself... Which I guess says something about me? I'm a total homebody, finding comfort in solitude and the sort of freedom that comes with being able to express myself, by myself, with no restraint. But even then, there's nothing I don't love about the bustling nighttime, basking in the sort of romantic air of the evening as I admire the city lights and the ambience of energy.

I'm the type of person that finds myself in people. For better or for worse, my presence is determined by those I choose to be around... So overall I'm a big people pleaser and am kind of starved for good friendships and affection, having always had a hard time keeping connections or finding people that truly want to be with me, which in turn makes me a bit of a loner, I suppose... I do truly yearn though lol, so the want for connection is still there, raging within. It's almost a painful sort of pining, because I never hold a grudge.. Even if someone does wrong by me, I will always be ready to welcome them again with open arms. I'm fiercely loyal, so I long to have people reciprocate that.

I adore anything that keeps my mind going and gives me that feeling of satisfaction and indulgence... I would say I find that feeling in my passion for art, writing, and reading... analysing my favorite movies and literature, getting to notice little things about the people around me and storing them in the back of my mind as little anecdotes I can smile about. Putting myself in the shoes of others, letting my imagination go wild— that small balcony full of potted plants is so beautiful and cozy, I wonder what the interior of the home is like, then... Small, full of zen, with warm lights? That person on the sidewalk, waiting for the bus with headphones on, they look like they would like jazz, or maybe something more upbeat?

Im also a dreamer, I guess I can describe it as such haha. Im a hopeless romantic by heart, yet sometimes I find myself feeling a twinge of apprehension at the thought of truly being in a relationship... Maybe it's because it's uncharted territory, or it's because that "dreaming" side of me has that sort of "prince charming" fantasy that I've always wished for, even on a more realistic level. But even then, I know I can be patient and let time do it's thing while I focus on bettering my own future, and finding happiness and comfort in myself in the meanwhile.

Your attention to detail, your appreciation of the little things, your ceaseless curiosity and active imagination, the care you feel for strangers... You quite literally change his world view.

Perhaps he's not exactly a prince charming, but he's close enough.

The Relationship:

There's a sense of understanding between the two of you when it comes to your loneliness. Later on, Malleus will question if he could tell that you felt as isolated as he did when he first saw you, if that was what drew him closer. But he doesn't put much thought into it. You enchanted him, and that's enough of a reason.

Though, perhaps, in the end, it's that shared loneliness that drives you together again and again. Your fierce loyalty, your craving for love and affection. You make each other feel safe and secure, which is all Malleus could really ask for at the end of the day.

There are awkward moments, of course, being two people that have no prior relationship experience. There's miscommunication, the occasional bruised ego, but there's truly nothing that could tear you apart. Malleus is devoted, reliant on his loved ones in such a way that perfectly mirrors your loyalty, and the both of you are quick to forgive and talk and move on. Probably the healthiest relationship to ever healthy.

ohhh god. oh no. tangle is CLEARLY super nervous here- she's sweating, and has no idea what to do- but she's making jokes and trying to smile and even laugh, because first of all, she wants to be a hero-

does trying to be witty to divert attention away from disastrous situations remind you of anyone. anyone with blue quills and pronouns.

-And she even did this during the metal virus arc, when she literally fucking died. Tangle is desperately trying to keep the team together- she doesn't want it to fall apart, and won't let that happen- she's trying to reassure everyone, but Lanolin's just done with it. Every mission they've ever been on- From the metal virus (Where a pissed-off Lanolin appeared in the background) to Surge,- they escaped by the skin of their teeth. They're barely scraping by- and Lanolin was on the sidelines then. She's now being referred to as boss, by Tangle, trying to cheer her up- basically Tangle's way of saying 'oh god. we're completely fucked. we need a plan or we're all fucking dead' (i mean. im exaggerating a bit but whatever) and Lanolin...just gave up.

She doesn't think she's cut out for it. She was desperate, needed help- maybe a distraction from life- or a way out of this place- or was done with all the destruction- I'm not sure yet, I don't exactly know her origin story, but either way, she joined the restoration and watched it crumble.

She watched leaders quit and falter, she watched the metal virus destroy their last 'bastion of hope', she watched the restoration that was supposed to rebuild, razed to the ground, forced to start all over again.

Tangle's terrified and she doesn't want to show it.

Lanolin's gave up and lost any hope.

Sonic's struggling, but trying to hide it.

And Blaze & Silver only just arrived-

And Whisper?

She's hurt. Not physically, atleast yet- but she's clearly emotionally hurt, her relationship with Tangle clearly strained at the moment-

But Tangle's struggling too, and she can't always be upbeat and cheery, but she can try, except the Whisper being upset with her isn't just painful for Whisper- it's painful for Tangle! She had no idea about Surge! She was trying to be nice- trying to honour their memory- and while it was a stupid, maybe even out of character decision- her intentions were pure, and she doesn't know why Whisper is so mad about it. Whisper has a right to be upset- but, for things to be fixed, they need to push past this and have a moment to talk about it.

The thing is, though?

Tangle already tried.

She tried talking to Whisper, but she's too mad to even want to talk.

Either they'll have a big argument, maybe eventually sorting things out, or Whisper will finally calm down- and they'll be able to talk things out.

But right now? The former seems more likely.

She just wants to fix things, but it seems like everyone else is too busy watching the flames burn it all down to try.

evermore - my beloved, i love how every single song has such a strong identity if that makes sense. like there's this common debate that evermore is the better album but folklore has better songs? i think folklore has a strong identity as an album but the songs dont as much as evermore. every song is so unique and lives in it's own world and i LOVE taylors voice with real instruments and her storytelling is peaked here.

folklore - everything that i said about evermore basically but slightly less. i love the vibes she was able to capture and the whole album paints such a picture- i've always felt like taylor is at her strongest when she's doing something new and this being such a new place for her (genre and writing wise) shows how refreshed she must have felt.

speak now - the most dramatic, messy and honest album in my opinion. its so late teens/early 20s to me in terms of subject matter and i love when she uses some rock influence in her songs and theres so much guitar in this album i love it. also the fact that it's entirely self written insane.

1989 - a modern classic. this also strengthens my theory that taylor is at her strongest when she's doing something new and challenging. i cant believe the first time she tried pop she came out with style, ootw, blank space, etc.... like wtf. the lyrics arent as poetic as one would hope but there still good and very impressive.

fearless - my baby. there's just something so bittersweet about this album and it's so solid. there's not a lot i would cut (from the standard version... vault tracks are different) and its so wholesome and full of whimsy. i love the production on it too, i think it works with her voice so so well and it's aged beautifully.

midnights - okay heres the thing, every criticism ive seen about this album makes sense and i agree but for some reason after seeing it live... idk i like it a lot. there definitely are skips and i get why people were just unimpressed truly... but some of the songs are so insanely catchy and i like the way her voice sounds... cant explain it.

red - i think this album is really good when you're in a certain place in your life or a certain mood, it's not an everyday album for me. i think it has some of her best ballads/slow songs but the upbeat ones lack for me. the best ones are holy ground and state of grace tbh. plus with how long red tv is... it's a bit overwhelming.

debut - she's cute but she could be improved upon and it's her first album so we can cut her some slack, i love iomwiwy, tim mcgraw, picture to burn, should've said no, our song, etc. she has standouts she's nice.

reputation - this is where we go into the negatives outway the positives. this production is way too much for me, like i said her voice sounds it's best with real instruments underneath is to me- so this really fake manufactured production just doesnt work. it also aged sooo badly to me. this album live is a different story tbh but recorded it's just not my fav. when she's performing it live she adds real instruments and im praying that she does that with the rerecording because it helps so much. the only songs i would literally die for her not to change is lwymmd, dress, so it does, and ready for it. i think dont blame me is so overrated and dont understand why people love it.... im sorry. it's so basic to me... we've seen the whole 'your live is my drug' this so often and the production is basic too... i feel like anyone could be singing it.

lover - my god what this album could have been. this has some of her best and some of her worst. my list of complaints is long. i dont like the production- same reasons as reputation, way too fake and clunky. some of the lyrics are.... wild. the setlist is strange, i would cut like 4 songs tbh. i love cruel summer, inthaf, sygb, lover, london boy and false god.

oh my god bros giving me a workout. Starting with Telka and Zafirah- 3; I'm honestly not sure how people would perceive them, the two started off so hostile during the events of season four, a lot of people probably still look at them and remember the priest and commander at each others throat whenever they were in earshot of each other in sun's refuge. Seeing them grow to like each other must be/have been extreme whiplash after all the death threats! 7: Honestly that's a funny one, and probably comes from both angles. Zafirahs only getting close to try and kill Telka again but better, Telka finally won her faith over with proof of the power she absorbed from the fallen god, they were never even enemies and this was a ruse to rally metaphorical fire in telka's guild and the zaishen Zafirah brings back, someones got a tinfoil hat on and they're producing rumor mill content.

.13: Haven't considered that one tbh. Theyre both stubborn to an unholy dregree, driven to see something through no matter what, but whereas zafirah goes about this with discipline, respect and calm, Telka navigates situations with the grace of a metaphorical bull in a china shop, throwing herself at things with a jarringly upbeat determination to headbutt anything that's in the way. I expect the latter approach is an insult to the former.

oh god theres more ok ok round 2 telka and deidre. also someone please tell me why the text is randomly big while im writing this can someone with a tumblr degree make that stop help me. 11. Its awfully sterotypical, but i expect Deidre get's to see the less flattering parts of Telka, the scars, the worries, quietly slumping all of her weight onto the small mordrem because who asks for hugs in 13xx, Telkas open with her happiness and fire, but still closes off some of the worries and pains.

.14 Her laugh, its easy to make her laugh. Wether its its a small giggle or the funniest joke shes heard in years, deidre can't take her eyes off it. Telka always closes her eyes and scrunches up for any degree of humor. Dee has never been particularly good at jokes but even she can make telka smile and chuckle, or perhaps its the present company that puts telka in such a good mood :)

.15 "his personality" sounds both like a fake-out and a euphemism, but i think its just that. Deidre's an anxious ball of stress and practicality with a side-salad of naieve curiosity and this enraptures Telka. He has so many questions he's afraid to ask anyone else but telka loves answering, what's a couch. noone ever tells me who trahearne was, can you? Have you been inside of Houses? what are they like? She'd love to show them all the things they ask about someday, when things calm down (ignore the ominous shadow of the next expansion, nothings ever looming on the horizon). In turn, she also appreciates deidre's willingness to nag her, when shes become so untouchable to so many people. its grounding to still have someone who will call you a stupid idiot for pulling a strike operation on an enemy camp when youve been awake for 36 hours and inevitable set yourself on fire again or something. Insulting, but humbling to hear, part of her appreciates it.

before i get into specifics ill just say how much i love love love how upbeat and happy most of their songs are i love how ironic it all is, i love the idea that all the songs are portrayed in a happy tune to reflect putting up that fake "carefree" attitude... I LOVE IT i love it.. anyways

first of all theres the obvious uh. "getting drunk and blacking out" connotations, but i dont think its JUST that - to me it encompasses unhealthy coping mechanisms as a hole, i.e. :

money splurging/self sabotage (ill admit this ones a bit of a stretch but stick wih me here),

unhealthy sleeping patterns (sleeping too much or too little)/denial in the form of escapism

and generally running away from your problems while still being aware of that intense guilt

(i could say more but you get the point)

the bridge makes me wonder if this is also about relationships? or i guess how unhealthy coping mechanisms can lead to the deterioration of relationships (which leads to grief and more unhealthy coping, cycle starts over again)

either the speaker (i, me, my) or the adressee (you, your) is carrying the relationship and cutting ties

i say either because its not really specified? but i think its sort of implied that the addressee is the one whos saying and doing these things

at this point im gonna be very conflicted with my thoughts cause i cant fully wrap my head around it, but mmmmaaaybe its just... a third person perspective looking in on the situation like a narrator? and just pointing out to viewers/listeners/audiences the situation and going "see how life is from this perspective"?

the first one may be implying that "hey, if you dont keep yourself in check, this will be you" because of how they frame the situation as "the way of the future, the story, and the times" expressing how its a common problem thats often overlooked

but then in the second version, at the very end of the song, its proposing a more positive future. like its framing the song as a cautionary tale, and now with the knowledge and the lesson thats been taught, you can go on with your life looking out for yourself and others and creating a better future

i dont think you know what you signed up for... i could talk about goosebumps for AGES. its not their best song but its the perfect song for what we needed, when we needed it. like. okay it was THE perfect send off, it was everything we could have asked for! i wont say it was a cultural reset, because it wasnt, it was more like 'yes this is us, and we're still BEING us and we will be us once again'

the song is a banger. the music video is beautifully produced, calling back to other mv and yet keeping room open for the future. the promotion was actually pretty good too and you could TELL wm threw all their remaining money/effort into this last comeback -- because it WOULD be the last one. for two years. and if thats not enough then think about the BOOM oh my god we get from mk. gets me every mf time!!!!! its perfect for any time of the day, it's upbeat enough for a beautiful day but it also has a darker side to it making itperfect for night drives or rainy evenings. its so well done and the producers truly knew what they were doing with each members voice

goosebumps is one of my favorite songs ever if only because of the era that it produced as well, ive stayed up till 3/4am for exactly three comebacks and goosebumps was one of them. i remember we were all up really late and there were like ~12 of us all excitedly waiting together for it to drop, and i rmbr very specifically we all started posting like WTF ITS 2 MINS LATE.......... it was so funny. and all the ccs worked together to get their stuff out and we all rb each other stuff. it was a beautiful morning

then there were the performances (I LOVE the perf for goosebumps!!!! mk giving me all the energy i want in a choreo) and their concerts, which i watched with elle and haley (which again was another wonderful morning) we stayed up until 5am (my time) just obsessing over the concert, and then fuseblr broke down all together when mk enlisted first... then the rest of them... i mean it was a roller coaster of emotions, but like it was so worth it. you could tell the members were truly having fun, even while they had an expiration date...

also it gave me EVERYTHING i wanted in yuto. like that is when i became truly obsessed w him. they gave me purple hair (my fav color) they styled him in sexy leather AND THEN STYLED HIS HAIR UP... i dont think you and i were mutuals when goosebumps came out but i can tell you my fusetuals were there front and center when i went feral after seeing his forehead djfskhg and that was only in the mv! they gave me forehead!yuto TWICE after that!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CMON. LOOK AT THIS........ finally we get sexy yuto! i also have more to say but im going to end there. just KNOW goosebumps means the world to me in many ways...

in conclusion: goosebumps is onf's best era, because not only did it solidify their place in the industry with the high quality music and music video equal to beautiful beautiful -- but it showed the world (and fuses) that they weren't changing who they are, and that they'll be back. it brought everyone together, both in happiness but also in sadness. as a fuse, you automatically have a friend in onf and other fuses, and goosebumps only proved that.

debut - georges danton.

it’s a country album written by a 14 year old. i also have a weird headcanon that he listens to the most out of character music, and this definitely fits the bill. he would also dig the homophobic picture to burn /lh (i had no one else to put)

fearless - charlotte corday.

she was very fearless to kill marat. i also had no one else i could think of. she could be into love songs, i guess. i don’t know.

speak now - the better charlotte (robespierre.)

she is speak now. the badassery of it lmao. it’s not overtly badass, and still is sappy (a 19 year old wrote the album,) but it’s enough that it fits her bill. (better than revenge, enchanted, never grow up, long live.)

red - camille desmoulins.

he is red. oh my god. everything about him is just burning red [ ;)]. there’s definitely immaturity in this album, but its appropriate enough for him (im not a uwu believer lmao.) please also don’t tell me that songs like all too well can be attributed to failed relationshipsof him (and me shipping him with robespierre lmaoo.) and begin again for him and lucile :). the general style of it also fits him well imo. (holy ground, treacherous, come back…be here, all too well, begin again.)

1989 - jean paul marat.

if he’s not 1989, what is he?? truthfully i don’t know. it can kind of be irony too, in a way. 1989 is pure class, and marat is not. he also would not be on this list without 1989 lmao. he also is 110% bad blood & out of the woods. otherwise, it’s irony lol. (bad blood, out of the woods, i know places, clean.)

reputation - saint-just.

with all the depictions of him being cold, just from that sole description, reputation is the obvious choice. however, this isn’t sjs whole personality, nor is it reputations. reputation has more love songs than most of taylor’s albums, and generally has a softer interior than most people think it is (but they’re cool love songs and not sappy ones lmao.) sj is a person who i think fits this, also the general vibe of the songs on rep reminds me of him. (dress, call it what you want, new year’s day, don’t blame me.)

lover - lucile desmoulins.

i originally thought that lucile would be speak now, but in the end i thought lover would fit the most. diary lucile is definitely speak now, but i feel outside of the angst she is lover. songs like the archer and afterglow can also be contributed to her in this way. lover first dance remix for camille and her forever. (archer, afterglow, the man, false god.)

folklore - maximilien robespierre

he is the pure folklore. between the love triangle, the indie style of the music, and the reoccurring themes about anxiety and love just stringing together. the sophisticated language of the lakes can be attributed to him as well, and a general vibe of him is there too. don’t tell me that maxime didn’t hit his peak at seven too lmao. (seven, this is me trying, peace, mirrorball.)

evermore - élénore duplay.

evermore is a more upbeat folklore to me, one focusing less on anxiety too as well. élénore to me fits a lot of songs on evermore, and it’s quite remarkable to name them all lol. right where you left me & evermore after maxime died, coney island and ivy for vibes. cowboy like me for…cowboys /j. no body, no crime because she would kill for a friend.
