OCgram: Undercover
Not sure if Jackalope is canon to my 'verse, but I'll roll with it for now.
Voice drama blurbs:
Year 127:
Jackalope: Prisoner number **, Claire Inez. She seems to be about your age. Maybe you two might get along, if you could put up with her princessy attitude.
Es: I feel like I've seen her somewhere before.
Jackalope: No no, that isn't possible. She's way before your time.
Year 143:
Jackalope: Prisoner number **, Jessica O'Flannigan. She may look young, but don't let your guard down around her. Hmm, why are you looking at her funny?
Es: She seems familiar.
Jackalope: She is similar to that one girl from 127.
Es: Yeah, but more than that. I get this feeling like... I should know her.
Jackalope: Perish the thought.
Verses: (No title references, sorry.)
Claire (first verse meter): The weight of self-made expectations. Once you're up here, no way to go down.
Jessica (last verse meter): I thought I had it built up, all in one moment it comes crashing down.
Third chorus: (tw blood, eyestrain, implied suicide)

i find it very interesting how the matter of don juan/giovanni's parents was pretty prominent in early don juan stories but died out really quickly over time... in the original play, a big part of why the don is able to get away with what he does so cleanly is bc his dad is an advisor to the king and convinces the king to do nothing every time. which is just... fascinating, honestly.
i imagine they're both very externally focused on appearances and the family name, or something like that. while neither of them are as cartoonishly evil as their son, neither of them are good people, and both (particularly don diego) are much more corrupt than they'd like you to know.

i have never been as in love as i am now and it scares me because. this will either be the worst heartbreak of my life or i'll have her forever and i'm praying it's the last option. everything reminds me of her and i pray to god that i love her in all the right ways because she doesn't deserve less than that and. i'm only 19 and i know i'm young and i still have my entire life ahead of me but i know that i want her by my side forevermore <3
