you literally have me making heart eyes at vil with your latest post. I always look forward to your writings, and they've never failed to make me feel satisfied after reading them.

you don't have to, but if it's alright to ask, do you have any extra thoughts or headcannons regarding raven retainer!vil?

Damnation Vil? Let me think. There's not much I could think of off the top of my head, as with Riddle, I had to be more creative with Vil since the Queen of Hearts and the Evil Queen both had very little screentime in their respective animated movies. And even then, most scenes I couldn't derive a lot of inspiration for, because there wasn't much to work with in the first place.

Firstly, I think some people tend to forget how utterly charming Vil is. Think about it. He's an actor, he plays parts well, but also he's dearly loved by many for a reason. Which is why I wanted to incorporate a softer more flirtatious side to Vil, because let's be honest, he probably has the confidence to flirt more than other characters.

For his looks, it was difficult to find specific images that fit the picture I had in mind. So for references, I decided to look up images of the Evil Queen. One result was a limited edition doll that came up, with a beautifully designed outfit. So when writing, I would look at that for reference when describing Vil's outfits.

As for that intimidating fearsome factor of Vil, I thought of the Baroness from Cruella. She's very dramatic and confident, but selfish and demeaning, cruel and narcissistic. Some of those aspects I decided to think of when writing scenes in which Vil was supposed to be more cold.

One detail I obviously had to tweak was the relationship between Neige and Vil, as the Evil Queen is Snow White's step-mother. It was fairly simple, to make Vil the step-brother instead. It made more sense, and appeared more effective that way which helped play into Vil's issues with his worth and jealousy towards Neige. This also helped extend the plot a bit, creating a role for Epel that was not part of the movie.

I do think Vil would be an effective King, if he doesn't become distracted by his own efforts to best those he sees as competition, which is something I mention in the story itself.

Mithridatism. Look it up. It's mentioned in the story too. Vil definitely practices that, for very obvious reasons.

When Vil was still a prince becoming more and more bitter every passing day as he felt everyone loved Neige more than him, he would turn to the original retainer since they would never mention his step-brother (hence another hint he would pick up on when MC arrived).

It's not just that Raven!MC recognizes that Vil is beautiful, but also recognizes that he's a danger, realizing his abilities and determination. Which is what Vil would desire in someone, wishing for someone to amuse him, see him, and recognize NOT JUST his beauty but all his talents he wasn't recognized before Neige for.

Anyways, just thoughts.

Hi. I appreciate your message and thank you for the kind words about my designs.

Since the topic of Heket's tail seems to be appearing quite frequently in my and other artist's ask boxes, here's what I have to say.

This is your reminder that it is not okay to comment on people's artistic choices like that.

Art is art, and it begins in the artist.

Art exists to express its creator. It's to put their ideas, their love and passion towards a character or a franchise as a whole into something that others can see (listen to, read, touch, I'm not speaking just about paintings).

Art is a shared experience. It is to be observed.

And it is not an artist's job to try and fit their work into every frame that some people on the internet may have created for themselves.

Heket is not a frog. She may appear so, but her existence in a regural frog's body had ended very long time ago.

She's a goddess. A fallen and defeated one, at last, but the divine essence has intervened with her existence so much that it can't ever be taken away from her.

Frogs aren't fifteen-ish times the lamb's height. They don't have additional sets of eyes and the definitely do not have some weird crosses and tower looking like things sticking out their head. Oh, right, and they don't have tails too.

Cult of the lamb is a fantastic fictional world, with magic, relics, gods and ???. Narinder used to possess an ability to rip his face open and detach his eyeballs from their sockets to have a fight with lamb.

I don't see any good reason why in given circumstances Heket's current body can't have a tail. She still has other eyes and crosses, even though I don't include the latter in my art.

Once again, art is art and my design is my design. I've made that decision and I'm well aware that it may not be accurate to real life biology. Question awaits, why in the world should it?

I used to grow toadpoles into frogs in an aquarium a while ago. I've watched them go through every stage of development, I've seen them change and transform, and it isn't a momentary process. The tail doesn't suddenly fall off. The toadpoles first grow their back legs, then front ones, and by the time the latter are fully formed, they still have their tail for about a day or two. So, here's your biological explanation: her current body is very, very young.

I chose to include the tail in the design as a metaphor of bishop's rebirth. Her mind may be old, but right now she's like a child in a world that is so new and unfamiliar to her. She has to go through everything that all young people have to.

This post might seem just out of place, as if I'm looking too much into a simple comment like that one. But I've seen just one too many artists bullied into thinking that their ideas or choices aren't valid and do not matter. They were forced to change their beautiful works because someone else had told them to.

So let me tell you something instead.

You don't have to change your art. You can make whatever artistic choices you want, and they are valid, and they are beautiful, because they are yours.

We wouldn't have a quarter of the diversity and creativity in art if a long time ago one artist their contemporaries claimed to be weird and incorrect submitted to them and returned to only drawing what they thought were allowed.

Frames are to be broken.

Because I'm curious now, what are your favorite TTRPGs? One of my personal favorites is the Kids On Bikes system and its variants for their simplicity and ease of access for new players.

so first of all--kids on bikes is very cool. it’s a nice rules-light game with a pick-up-and-play vibe. haven’t ever run it myself but i feel comfortable seconding your recommendation. anyway here’s some of my FAVOURITE TTRPGS.

Blades in the Dark is probably my enduring all-time favourite game. it’s a little flawed in places but its core loop is pure fucking elegance at play. flashbacks (you can spend stress, a metacurrency, to have done something in the past) and resistance (you can also spend stress to evade something bad that happens to you) are two of my favourite mechanics in any TTRPG ever. every player character gets to be a competent badass while also facing real, tangible danger with every moment. not to mention an incredibly well-fleshed out and evocative setting in the gaslamp fantasy nightmare city of doskvol.

Eidolon: Become Your Best Self is a game that dares to ask questions like, ‘what if jojo’s bizarre adventure was good’ and ‘what if persona, also, was good’. characters manifest the power of their souls as weird freaks with incredible powers. the ‘reveal your master plan’ mechanic works much like BiTD flashback mechanic and a smart combat system where enemies get stronger as you fight them really makes this the perfect vehicle for creative character-driven superpower-based combat. if you subscribe to the developers’ patreon you can also get access to the draft of the second edition, which does some really cool fucking things like replacing dice rolls with a tarot draw.

Lancer is the game for people who like grid-based tactical combat. it has incredible tactical depth, well-thought out mechanics that interlace perfectly--and best of all, you get to design and customize your own mech from a truly dizzying array of options to find all sorts of fucking insane synergies between abilities like ‘teleport whenever you attack somebody’ or ‘do more damage the more you overheat’. it also has a very comprehensive suite of GM tools that make it a breeze, and even fun, to create and run a balanced encounter with clearly defined and narrativly interesting goals for both sides. i’m not too into the setting for reasons i’ve talked about elsewhere, but fortunately as long as you can accomodate ‘mech combat’ into your setting, none of the worldbuilding is load-bearing to the game’s core appeal.

Microscope is totally different from a lot of TTRPGs in that it’s noit about playing characters, but about creating a world. it’s a beautiful collaborative storytelling tool with deceptively simple tools that can easily add up into your table creating a world that’s way more intricate and eclectic and fascinating than anything one of you could have come up with on your own. good for creating TTRPG settings but also good just as something to play for its own sake!!

Dream Askew would probably round out my top five, but i’ve just posted about that one here--so instead i’ll give this slot to Nobilis 3e, a game that might not be one of my favourite games to actually play, but is genuinely fascinating to read and sit with, a fucking masterful work of both design and literature, something that so distinctly creates a world and a tone that it’s instantly magnetic. not for everyone, but worth checking out.

A messy ramble about sword decor

Kimetsu no Yaiba was sleeping on menuki, man.

That came back to mind today while visiting a museum exhibit of very fancy sword mountings (like so), because I am me and admiring very realistic metal insects and tiny metal carvings of Tale of Heike battle scenes will always come back to my fandom brain rot. The menuki specifically were on my mind because they are decorative pieces on the handles that hide the mekugi, which are key structural elements--pegs where the handle is attached to the blade, and where some might say a soul is put into a sword.

And, a few years ago while KnY hype was at its height, I heard some people who seemed to try to talk down the hype, saying, "the swords don't even have mekugi! Those aren't real Japanese swords!" Which means a lot to most non-nerds, I'm sure.

True, a lot of the Nichirin-to don't include visible pegs in their design, which you could argue is just because they are covered up with other wrappings on the handles. But realism really isn't a concern since Sanemi and Shinobu would probably constantly stabbing themselves with those tsuba.

So anyway!! The tsuba! The handguards and what they say about the characters is a very, very nice touch, and I love wondering if the swordsmiths designed those fully based on their own imaginations and perhaps what crows told them about the kids (like "he was a charcoal farmer" or "he's a Rengoku") or if the swordsmen got any chance to put in their own requests on the regular ("I was a charcoal farmer, I don't know what to ask for" or "Sabito had one like this"). It's also fun to see the creativity involved in creating the scabbards for unique swords like Shinobu's and Iguro's.

But we can do so much mooooore!

I love the simplicity of the Nichirin-to. They are elegant and purposeful, with engravings being earned and standardized. But they are also beautiful, and the general idea must be "if those swordsmen are putting their lives on the line, we will give them powerful tools, but they might as well get to enjoy something decorative for the rest of their likely short life." The menuki would have been such an opportunity for this, though the details would be hard to spot in both anime and manga format. So instead I just want to ponder the possibilities.

Shinobu:

I was very inspired by all the metal inlay bugs and the butterfly motifs I saw today. I love the elegant engraving on the scabbard, and that her tsuba takes part of the traditional Shippou (Seven Treasures) pattern to make a vague butterfly shape. But I also saw one today that have a wisteria shaped menuki (and other bug motifs!!). But also, knowing her, she might be pleased to have a decorative little fish tucked behind the cords.

Sanemi:

I LOVE THE VIOLENT PINWHEEL. What a whimsical way to express wind! Speaking of bugs, why not give him a rhinoceros beetle, symbolic of fighting spirit? After all, I even saw realistic little snail ones today, anything goes. And while we're thinking wind--

Rengoku:

Wind chime??? Even the balloon flower pattern like was on the wind chime in that scene makes a lovely metal engraving pattern on other mountings on the scabbard. Totally unrelated, but today I say a brand of tangerines called "Shiranui" (the same name as the First Form of Flame Breath) for sale at the store, so heck, why not an apricot theme somewhere too? Orrrrrr you can also work with a "heart" theme to compliment all the flames. Oh, speaking of hearts--

Mitsuri:

Mitsuri's tsuba might look like four hearts, but this is actually an uncommon but traditional spin on a cherry blossom motif. Aside from all the possible ways you play with a cherry blossom motif, the traditional "inome" protective pattern is nowadays considered romantic because it looks like an upside-down heart. There's a lot of nice ways of using that shape, like a window in the a tsuba, or in her case, maybe to frame some other pattern used as part of an engraved piece. Speaking of "inome" though--

Inosuke:

"Inome" means "boar's eye," though it looks more like a boar snout. Kanamori could have done all kinds of things with this motif, or even used little boar-shaped menuki! Not that any of those efforts would have mattered.

Iguro:

Clearly the snake theme could be used a lot, but why not be more creative? He's actually a pretty sensitive dude, and my read on him is that he seems to like scenes that imply "purity," partly because he ses himself as so tainted and doesn't dare taint anything pure. Nature motifs like snow, or the elegant snow-moon-flowers triple motif suit his poetic soul nicely, and snakes are considered a water element (makes sense that his Breath stems from Water Breathing), so some water related theme could work too. In this same vein, snakes are generally considered as much as water element as dragons, so giving him a dragon item would also fit just fine with a snake theme.

Himejima:

Hard to think of this one in the same way as the others, but I'm sure there are methods for decorating it. Like, what does he even use as a scabbard? Maybe he has a nice strong brocade or woven cord for wrapping up the chains? There are so many ways you could work in Buddhist themes for him, especially the six characters used to write "Namu Amida Butsu" (but that's already all over his haori). There's gotta be good themes out there (both of Buddhist origin or general Japanese folk and/or poetic culture) to play on the idea of "strength." Oh heck, just give him a little Benkei-related motif, or a motif related to a famous demon slayer of the past.

--ON THAT NOTE--

Wouldn't it be cool if, like there are "Tale of Heike" themed menuki, there were menuki celebrating famous moments in Corp history? Maybe it was suddenly very popular to make menuki of Uzui vs Gyutaro once that momentous battle occurred? Uzui would love that. You could also have more subtle history, like motifs shaped like The Marks, which the swordsmiths have maintained in their traditions without knowing why certain symbols became associated with certain Breaths. If Yoriichi hadn't been disgraced, he probably would have been a common theme too.

Uzui:

ALL THE DECOR, but what about fireworks all over the shiny lacquer? Or the scene in Tale of Genji in which Genji stands in a storm at the beach (a hidden reference to the names of each of Uzui's wives)?

Muichiro:

GINKGO LEAVES, MAN. And the moon because it would be ironic.

Tanjiro:

What if he had a little SUNSHINE on a simple menuki?? Something nice and understated! Or even his fox mask!!! Or--oh, oh, oh---

Giyuu:

WHAT IF THEY HAD MATCHING FOXES

Also, it would be very nice if there was some useful of the waves and clouds pattern on the metal pieces of his scabbard.

Zenitsu:

There's already a lot of lightning and triangle on this sword, and I like how his matches Kaigaku's. I could see this being a situation of Zenitsu getting his sword polished and using the opportunity to ask for any number of cute and auspicious decorations and being flat out told, "no, this is what Thunder Breath swords look like."

Kanao:

Freaking flowers everywhere, but I also saw a crest today that had three butterflies in a circle around a flower, and it was repeated all over the sword, especially the lacquer of the scabbard. Wouldn't that be a cute reference to the sorts of people who inspired her to learn Breath technique and then sneak off to the Final Selection?

Genya:

He has such a very typical straightforward tsuba you'd actually see in real life. You one of the menuki themes I saw today? One one side, it is a "speedy demon" running off with a stolen stupa (which has the relics of Buddha inside), and on the other side, a Buddhist protective deity running after the demon with a sword. WHAT A FUN PAIR. Something like this would be such a cool way to reference his reliance on the Nenbutsu for Repetitive Action, too. But give that deity a glock.

I realize that a lot of this is very casually referencing motifs and hidden cultural details I've referenced elsewhere in various posts throughout this blog. I am far, far too lazy to go link those. Hopefully they're all properly tagged as "KnY Nerdery." Anyway, since you've come this far, here is an obligatory "SWORD BABY" photo because I always like photos when I get to hold tamahagane.

General thoughts: Ive given them in my previous design sheet (you can find it in my blog)(tldr: designs match characters but still childish, 8-12 years old). Only thing different here, is that these eggs were eggs who I had less of a clear idea of what I wanted to do with them (though I still really liked where I ended up!!)

Empanada: Didnt want to go for the full sweet lolita route, mostly because I thought it'd take away the "little kidness" of it all, but something that still resembles the aesthetic. She's wearing "carneirinhos" (idk the name in english) which is very cute little girl to me, and shes also a demon! Her tail resembles a frying pan!! Though I might change her fringe (it was supposed to be baby hairs but now that I think about it, her type of hair probably wouldnt have them) and put some argyle pattern in her sweater vest. I just forgor💀 to do that...I also wish I had made her shorter, but unfortunetely I drew this before the eggs did the height check (YES ITS BEEN THAT LONG).

Sunny: My beautiful baby girl. She means the world to me. I love this minecraft egg with all my heart. Shes wearing Light up sketchers and some fairy wings like Pomme, and shes actually wearing a swimsuit, she just put a tutu over it. The diamonds they're always holding are rings, they have a "terere" in their hair (idk name in english😭😭) and the beads were inspired by an artist on twt (@\BLUETOMATOSODA). Also if you are wondering why her hair looks like tentacles, its because I had originally made it puffy, but changed my mind after doing the lineart, so i had to get creative with me covering it up. Just pretend she has a fan, shes a star after all!

Pepito: Basically, he is very smoll. Chiquito even. He has strawberry hair and MASSIVE glasses that take up his entire face. Hes wearing a swimsuit aswell (dont ask how it works idk either), and has floaties since he cant swim. Hes got crocs, since flip flops hurt his toes, with a spider man charm on them! Also hes got a sunhat, mostly cause I wanted some other accessorie but didnt want to go with gas mask since it'd kinda kill the whole swimming vibe (since his model is wearing a swimsuit). sorry if its not too accurate to his character. Side note: Him, Em and Sunny all have freckles! Him and Sunny all over their bodies while Em just has on her cheeks.

Leo: Cute sporty vibe, love her shorty spiky hair. Wanted to try to make her face spiky aswell, for the whole shark dad thing. Shes got a necklace with a shark tooth (I guess she got it from Foolish??). He changes tshirts randomly, and opens and closes his attack on titan hoodie depending on the tshirt's expression (basically my version of Leo changing her player heads constantly). His trainers have dragon wings and also: whealies!!

Dapper: Im gonna be honest: did not expect to like his design THIS much. The colouring really elevated, with the long blue hair (the same colour as the ghosties!). Wanted to make them, y'know, dapper, so I had to sacrifice some of the "little kid vibes" unfortunetely, but I think it fits her still. The hat has part of the helmet that they used to wear a lot, demon horn to match Pomme, and a suit that is VERY inspired by Death the Kid from Soul Eater (very fitting for a reaper in training imo). Might be my favourite design!

Ramon: Jesus fuck you'd think designing your fav egg would be easy BUT NO. I struggled long and hard. Again, he doesnt have that much "little kid" vibe whatever man😭😭 Im just happy that I even managed to make SOMETHING. Hes got Create googles, his meathead is a massive hat that completely hides his hair. Very simple, very Ramon, though I will probably end up making a version with an ugly sweater just like he likes instead😔. I still like it but. man...

This is not an update to the Comic, but it still has something to do with it !!!

(call it a little gift for the Wish Rewrite and KoW fandom)

Hello my little stars! How are you?

I mentioned in the last post in the series that I would be traveling for a week or two and that's why I wouldn't be working. Well I'm still traveling Lmao.

It's been a lot of fun, I'm visiting my Prince Charming and family, both of whom I haven't been to in a long time. Still, I couldn't stop thinking about KoW and Wish's Concept Arts. Disney sealed the fate of its fan artists by discarding so much good material, now they are embedded in our minds and we will not be able to rest until we see them realized. This is crazy but it's beautiful to see how much these discarded concepts generated creative potential in the fandom.

Because of all this I couldn't help but make some small sketches! And well, I came to show them here. They are not sketches of Comic panels, but they have something to do with it and I will show the photos and explain how.

This first one, very faded, are Magnificent and Amable's clothes (designed by @uva124, for the characters in @annymation's rewrite of Wish "The Kingdom of Wishes"). The drawings that Aled did are very complex, I don't judge her for that, in fact I thank her, she gave beautiful clothes to the centuries-old Disney villains and they are perfect. I really wish I could draw them with all the details, but I will do everything by hand, alone and seeking a minimally professional quality (I want to be a comic artist/book illustrator one day. This comic is my first step Lmao, and I want to do something that conveys the best I can give at the moment), so I need to make some things easier for myself. The costumes are one of those things.

" Better something simple and well done than complex and poorly done." — This is my motto for this Comic and for my life.

The next sketches are related to aesthetics. I've been watching a lot of "Analyzing the Art" videos of some Disney films and I was inspired to adopt some "Disney Style" features in my arts for this comic (not everything obviously, because I don't want to be sued by Disney lmao).

What you'll see next is me trying to mix this influence with my own style in some KoW character sketches.

Speaking of aesthetics. Anny received Chiara's aesthetic from someone — the north star, "daughter of Aster", created by his magic at the very end of Anny's fanfic. This Aesthetic inspired me to create an aesthetic for Asha and Aster too and these were the results:

Lmao, It took a lot of work to make Aster's. There are almost no things for "starboys" on Pinterest.

Lastly, I want to say that the artistic analysis videos They also inspired me to put together a moodboard for KoW and I'll be leaving it here. Not even Anny and Aled know about this and I can't wait to see their reactions! I wish I could print this painting and leave it on the wall, but unfortunately I don't have a printer T-T.

This moodboard is helping me with the artistic direction of colors, style and is a visual motivation to stay active at work.

An update on my unfinished au’s!

I have over the last few months fallen deeply out of love with the Sanders Sides series and as a result I have not updated any of my projects in some time. At the current point I am at I am only planning to do the final two installments in the cupid au (because I pretty much lost my affection for the ts series right before the big finale of the project!!) and the lust Roman au (as it is my longest running work to date and I want to comple the project as a show of dedication to my younger self) although it will most likely be on a much quicker time scale than I was intending originally! (Instead of the 11 more parts I was hoping to produce it will probably be closer to 5 and I will most likely skip a few parts of the story that weren’t as important)

I feel a lot of affection for the work I have created but not a lot for the actual series so I’m trying to find a way to rework the stories I’ve created for the au’s to become independent creations that I will enjoy continuing to make! (Aside from the Lust au which I feel is mostly a story I don’t feel the need to come back to/rework since it relies so heavily on the source material) Most of my au’s function as stories mostly separate from canon material except for the characters archetypes present in each, so I’ll be working on retooling/reskinning said work to be more original and workable as long term projects! (Since u guys were really invest in my plots which had almost nothing to do with the canon characterization)

I’m currently working on retooling the Zombie au (Which I used as heavy inspiration for my oc Sophia I sometimes post about and her girlfriend) the Cupid au (I’m putting together more creative designs for the characters so that I can hopefully redo the comic- since I’m super in love with the concept) The sleeping beauty au (since it functions entirely the same as a stand alone story- and I could use the designs of my princess characters from that comic I made a long time ago for Valentine’s Day ) and the Super hero au! (Which I never properly defined and thus have a lot of incomplete ideas for, and my only struggle is coming up with better super hero names for them)

The only one of my main au’s I probably won’t rework is the Evil king au- just because I’m not sure how I could retool it to not just be a story about abuse(I feel more comfortable creating a story where everything is horrible and bad and the people involved are just bad for eachother when it’s an au- because there is other work of those characters where they aren’t that way to balance it out- but if it were my own new characters I feel as though it wouldn’t be nearly as fun to read or write)

This is a series of decisions I’ve been trying to wait on for a long time because I have been hoping something sanders Sides related would come out soon that would re spark my interest but nothing so far has happened- and with the way the story is going I don’t think it’s something that is going to happen. I still love all the work I have created for this fandom and I am so proud of all the collaborative projects I have been able to create with you all! I will happily re-read your asks and comments on my comics and I am still really proud of the community I’ve been able to create!

I’m sad to let this part of my life go (it’s taken up a solid 4th of my lifetime) and I understand that a lot of you all won’t follow me to my new projects- because I understand you guys didn’t come here for random oc projects- or original comics. And Altho it breaks my heart to see some of you move on and leave my notifications I am happy I the time with you all that I did!

I'm glad you like my art of him! I've been drawing him for 9-ish years now, but it's always nice to hear other fans of his also like my art! I don't actually talk to a lot of Oliver fans haha.

I always really really admired Dappleback/Lawlietlk's designing skill, and I had a whole presentation how much I appreciated his character design and how it lead back into why I think as a vocaloid he has one of the best designs.

Like don't get me wrong, Vocaloid (and other synths) have really good designs, just sometimes they aren't necessarily as good as Vocaloid designs y'know?

Like hear me out, I feel like the biggest appeal of vocaloid mascots is this: They can be whatever you want. Now on one hand you can argue that 'no mascot' is even Moreso freedom and should have worked better than mascot, but what's missing is the intrigue. There is a breeding ground of creativity hidden beneath restriction.

Like, often enough what people need most in order to create something is just a guideline, and for me that's what Oliver offers. Like, sometimes, too much canon is a bad thing, and people need to remember that.

The #1 selling point of Oliver's design is the intrigue his design offers. There's so much of it that once changed loses that 'space of expression.' And yet, no matter how much you are able to change, he also is able to maintain that 'constant' that lets you know that yes, that is still him, even if you change it. I don't have it anymore but it's been years, but I had a whole chart explaining it.

Over the years Oliver has gotten a lot of motifs and concepts assigned to him, that only derive from smaller aspects of his designs, for example: His bandages.

While you may argue it's not entirely unique, that is exactly the beauty of it. It's because of that so many different concepts stem from it.

One of the biggest themes correlated with Oliver is a monster/horror theme and you have the bandages to thank for it. The amount of concepts I've seen born from the sheer mystery of his bandages were so vast it's crazy. Whether it's because he's a cryptid/monster/cursed or otherwise, people are forced to make an effort to use that "why?"

And on the flip side, there is other mysteries people find from his bandages that aren't horror, they're instead going for something else: A poor waif, a vigilante, a witch, and etc. Through the simple [why], Oliver becomes limitless.

And while we're still discussing his bandages, there is elsewhere you can find beauty in his design. I know a lot of his fans are or were children when they became fans of him, and I know for a fact that some of them related to his design. It's not like he had much to go against them in thinking that-- and it's not just because of his song. For me as a child I projected onto him as a (character) as someone I could relate to. That's uh, probably why a lot of people tend to use him for horror or darker stuff. I know that some people are... unsavory, but that's why I don't really like when people hate on horror content made from him. I know a lot of people are weird about him, but it's a form of self-expression all the same.

Even aside from his bandages, his design still manages to offer intrigue. While Miku allows herself to be a blank canvas (being a mascot with very little ties, a digital idol who represents exactly that) Oliver is more like... a puzzle? Except there is no wrong answer and every time you put it together, it's always different.

There was a lot of misconceptions around his design, but Oliver was based off choirboy outfits-- not that everyone knew that. A lot of people interpreted it as a sailor outfit with nautical themes. That's why you can often see Oliver with sea-themed artworks or songs and/or if it's still around, sea-side waif depictions of him. But on the other side, there were quite a few interpretations of Oliver as a time-traveler- a noble- or hell: a literal bird boy.

Had he been given a more generic design, a more modern one, a more idol-esque version of himself, most of these interpretations of him would not exist. There would be less incentive for people to create that answer without the "why."

I don't really have a proper ranking on a more 'objective' ranking of designs as vocaloid specific mascot designs, but I feel like it's somewhat similar to... actual popularity?

Like... If i had to separate them, there's three categories in a venn diagram: Just straight up Good design (though I'd argue a lot of the other two would still fit in here), Fill-in the blank design, and blank canvas design.

I would say the OG Miku fits in all 3 categories but has been erring into just good design or her own category: too engrained into pop culture to fail.

Fukase is a good example of a Fill-in design, because he also has the classic "why" to his design. (Why is his coat like that? why does he have scars? is he human? is he a robot? Is he circus themed? Who knows?) You can see a lot of exploration of his character through that.

Vflower I feel like is primarily in the blank canvas design, because she more-so encompasses a certain fashion style and is able to attract the blank canvas of gender expression as well.

At the moment, to be honest, I can't really think of someone who only fit's in the straight up good character design but doesn't offer any mystery or fluidity, but that might just be my personality.

To be entirely clear, this venn diagram is probably closer to just a single circle instead of 3, but I'm mostly talking about which part of their design they align most with. (and the most common consensus of how to interpret them.

To be honest this is probably why I feel a bit like a Fake Oliver fan, bc I care more about his design more than his voicebank itself. (Sweats as I look at the vocaloid editor on my computer)

Man. Favorite Oliver song is tough.

Favorite Usage

I'll only be mentioning the publicly released songs using him, since it's a bit unfair if I recommend you something you either have no access to or I'm unable to find again.

To be honest I'm not a huge fan of some of Oliver's most known producers, mostly because I know they're not great people and refuse to support them. It's none of my business if you still listen to them, but I'd rather not. But, It's nice going down my old masterlist of Oliver originals.

I really like Rawbeans-P, if you ever heard her usage of Oliver, it's crazy stunning. Probably some of the best usage of him you'll ever hear.

Cat in a raincloud I know is relatively popular among my friends that I've pushed Robyn's music onto.

I feel like high up there is also Corasundae, who is honestly has a pretty refreshing (?) song-making style. I'm really not a music guy- meaning I never learnt a lot of terms properly and can't describe a lot of things to you, but I really like the general sound that corasundae uses in her works.

I think T.V.V.S is a pretty iconic song, but I'm emotionally attached to Other Side.

One of the songs I see people rarely talking about is Requiescat in Pace- I get it's probably because it's an older song, but I've always liked how it sounded and was a staple for me as a kid (and still fairly fresh into Vocaloid.) I don't think PARADIGM really released much else, but this song is sooo cool, I think about it a lot!

I'm not sure if you don't like horror, or just disappointed that it's a majority of his songs, but I don't think it's leaning too much into horror? It's really good though!

Another one of my favorite Vocaloid producers (the one I bought a keychain from as well!) is Veran Kuriensu! I found them originally from their original Lay, and it's possibly still one of my favorite Vocaloid Oliver Originals still to this day. While it's my favorite, I do know that they've improved drastically and their other works with Oliver is crazy good, but Lay has a special spot to me and makes me feel especially Nostalgic.

I've always liked how the lyrics sounded as well. I think otherwise my second favorite song from them is 星をあつめに. It's really good I Promise. Please please do give their stuff a chance!!

I feel like another producer I'd recommend for similar reasons to Rawbeans-P is Baggagelizard. He's always forever been kind of a legend to me! He's a super cool guy, and he has really good usage of Oliver's voicebank as well. One of my favorite songs he's done is Song for the forgotten, which was even my Oliver Collab piece back in like... 2016? That's honestly a bit crazy to me seeing how long it's been.

Baggagelizard tends to have such a special sound to the music he makes, I think it's kind of... a morose wistfulness? If you're into this one, I genuinely hope you check out his other works as well!

Actually I'm adding this one, because I really like the atmosphere of it! It's called Tavern and it's a really fun song using Big Al, Oliver, and Kaito and I think it's such a fun song! Apparently other Oliver fans I've recommended it said it wasn't their cup of tea though (′д｀σ)σ.

OH and how could I forget: Childhood Bye-Bye is honestly borderline a classic for me! I think it's a really iconic song, but it always surprises me that it's not as popular as I think it is. The producers other works are also really good!

Oooh, another Producer I can recommend is Compasscat! They use Uni, SeeU, and sometimes Oliver (maybe other vocaloids but I'm actually writing this in class (lol). You should try checking them out! I think I enjoyed it but I've been told the things I like are... different from how other people like things.

Actually, on the thought of not-so dark songs using Oliver, I hardly see any Oliver fans (or Yohioloid) fans talking about Yellow Card. I hadn't listened to it for years, but I still think it's pretty fun to this day, you could try checking it out if you feel like it. While we're at it, I'll add a bunch of special mentions for songs I knew were fairly liked enough when I was deeper into vocaloid but never see people talk about anymore as well. To be honest, I'd have a lot more to add to this list, but a lot of Oliver Originals I really liked are deleted or missing.... I understand it's at the producer's own discretion, but it's a little sad.

Unfortunately, A lot of the Bilibili/Niconico songs that I really liked were deleted or really really hard to access/find, but I'll reblog if I find them again.

✨Final Spotlight: The #FujoGuide Team ✨

You’ve already met many of our amazing contributors (if you need a refresher on our spotlights, find them at the end), but today we want to focus on those behind the scenes and highlight the incredible team that made our success possible.

While the hot men did a lot of heavy lifting in attracting (😘) people to our cause, a lot goes into successfully hitting ambitious goals like ours: planning, organization, research, marketing, and writing (omg so much writing).

It's impossible to accurately list everyone's contributions. This Kickstarter campaign, pulled off in only 2 months, is the collective work of an incredible team of people who came together with a mission: make programming accessible to fandom in the most hilarious way possible.

As project lead @essential-randomness found out, setting up a Kickstarter is a daunting task, even more than it seems to those who’ve never run one. Thankfully the @bobaboard community came together to her aid and managed to pull off the seemingly impossible.

Together with Slogbait, who did incredibly vital work, like setting up deadlines, budget, & rewards, a team of Kickstarter connoisseurs researched similar projects to understand what would go into making our campaign a success: the incredible @a-brilliant-loser & @elfwreck.

With data on our side, we started building. A fundamental part of this process was the research on expenses and manufacturers for the book and potential merch. Here, Candle provided us with his expertise in publishing and helped us understand the best options available.

At the same time, @tempural, @mizunotic helped us untangle the questions surrounding merchandise. What is popular with our audience? What are the best manufacturers around? What beautiful items can we afford to deliver to our amazing supporters?

Next, it was time for the practical setup: project lead @essential-randomness provided the first draft of our amazing campaign story, while @enigmalea and Heidi whipped it into the beautiful shape that will forever be immortalized on our Kickstarter page.

To decorate our riveting narrative, we needed graphics to match. As is April 1st tradition, project lead @essential-randomness got together with trusty pinch-hit designer CatBathingSun to create character cards and other campaign graphics, including the ones you saw on our socials.

But no Kickstarter campaign page is complete without captivating reward tiers. @a-brilliant-loser led this charge, coming up with our creative "GIT"-based naming and taking care of other copy needs. On the art side, @cmdonovann contributed the Boba-tans decorating our limited tiers.

Launching the campaign was a lot of work on its own. But that work, while important, could not have pushed us to these incredible heights without our incredible social media and marketing team, who worked tirelessly this whole month to reach and inspire old and new supporters.

While many people worked on this, we want to first shout out the amazing work of @owlpockets, who whipped our content calendar into shape, taught us social media strategy (and alt-texting), and helped us navigate the unknown waters of relentless promotion.

Then we have project lead @essential-randomness who spent an uncountable number of hours devising our marketing strategy and writing the threads that entertained you during this campaign.

As she herself writes, "May she now finally get to go back to coding, instead!"

But she could not have done it without collaborators like @elendraug, @enigmalea, and, again, @owlpockets, who painstakingly reviewed and improved her drafts and provided immense support throughout this extremely intense, exhilarating, month-long tour de force.

There are many other contributions-smaller, yes, but not less integral to our success. Like @thebiballerina, who first helped us wrap our heads around the inner workings of social media strategy, or @cmdonovann who kept our Discord updated on the week's happenings.

And then all the people who supported us with small (and big) bits here and there, like our very own Secret Final Boss, @thunder-the-ranger-wolf, Tovanish, @madgastronomer, Cante, Mantra, @PamuyaBlue, @playerprophet, @ignitiondork, @nianeyna, @codeargent and so many more.

Our artists, obviously, like our art director @brokemycrown; character designers @sgt-spank, @mappapapa, and @ymkse_art; illustrators @ikam177, Ererifan915, @kiwipon, @catter-bug, @admiralexclipse, and @tempural. Sensitivity readers, like @admiralexclipse and @angelfeast.

And then our project organizers, like our aforementioned anonymous contributor and @enigmalea who worked tirelessly on logistics and wrangling and showed up repeatedly to pick up all the dangling bits and pieces that a project this ambitious inevitably has.

Last but definitely not least, our project lead and director @essential-randomness who brought-and kept!-everyone together, oversaw and pitched in on every aspect of the project, designed our notepads (she's proud of them), and provided the initial investment that made this a reality.

How do you get ideas and colors for your art? I can only ever think of backgroundless straight forward posing, Its impossible to think of settings or colors or angles anymore.

Ahhh that's a good question!! I struggled with that as well, for a time, and it really sucks when you love a character, and you try to draw them, and instead of a whole character it's like, just their design. I think a lot of ideas and decisions in my art come from 3 sources: action, emotion, and visual inspiration.

For me, the biggest switch in the direction of better framing and posing came with understanding that a character in art always needs an action to be doing. Action is the most direct way the internal life of a character expresses itself. It explores their motivation, desire, their drive... It doesn't have to be dynamic, mind you - having a prop to interact with is great, but the action can be 'sleeping', 'waiting', 'looking', 'posing' even (might sound counterintuitive, but it explores a lot about characters self-perception and self-presentation. fun stuff!)

Just coming up with an action offers a lot of posing and background solutions for your piece.

Colors and composition often come from emotion that I want to express. Facial expressions are important, but they are really just one of your tools. There are a lot of universal visual shortcuts, but I find that the most interesting ideas come from looking into the associations you have with a particular feeling. They don't necessarily have to be super creative - I, for one, often use green plants as a shortcut for peace and safety, or night sky in bg to create a feeling of intimacy. But I think they work, and they don't look corny because they are authentic to how I see the world, you know? I don't put plants in my pieces because I think it's the right thing to do, I do it because it feels right.

So that's a good way to dig for ideas too: think of an emotion you want to express, think of something that makes you feel the feeling, or something about how you feel it, or how you express it... then give it to your character! :)

The visual inspirations is.. ngl it's one of those things that you don't look for, it just comes to you sometimes. Like that inspo I had for the wuthering heights illustration, you know? Sometimes I just see a beautiful reflection of a ray of light coming into a room, or a silhouette of a sleeping beauty in the veins of the marble, or the way the curtain colors the light falling on someone's cheek and I just feel like I need to put it in my art because the sight of it is so beautiful!

So these are my sources... mostly just one of them is enough to make me want to draw something, and other elements of the pieces come in the process. Don't overthink it!! Ideas can feel a little silly, but that's one of the most difficult and most important things with your them - not to judge! Just try them out :)

◜✧◞ SYNOPSIS ─ even after he left, kim taerae could never really forget his first love, nor could he forget his first heartbreak.

◜✧◞ PAIRING ─ kim taerae x male!reader

◜✧◞ GENRE ─ angst, fluff kinda.

whenever taerae walks into his room, he's always met with a memory.

there, hanging before his closet, is a sewn purple cardigan, prettily perched up on the hanger, as if waiting for him every time he would walk into his room. he always felt his breath get caught in his throat whenever he directly looked at it, because he would always remember him.

now it may seem stupid to think that some stupid purple cardigan makes taerae freeze in his tracks whenever he so much as he stepped into his room, why doesn't he just move it?

because he doesn't want to forget him at all.

it's been almost two years since he left, the only thing he left as a gift to taerae was the one single cardigan he'd sewn for him after getting a creative spark.

seo y/n was certainly a character. taerae can name so many words that describe him, brave, energetic, dramatic, sweet, creative, talented.

but the most important thing was, he was kim taerae's. for three almost four years, kim taerae had seo y/n in the palm of his hand, the two of them were unable to be separated.

taerae would spend so much time with him, most of the time just admiring him, but they'd do pretty much everything together. he can't remember how many times he accidentally left his guitar at y/n's house because of how many times he sat down and played for him.

he always remembers y/n watching with interested eyes, his main focus being taerae and taerae only. for the longest time, they seemed unstoppable, like separating them would just bring them closer each time.

in all of his years of living, taerae has never encountered something so painful yet beautiful, something which caused him so much pain yet so much happiness as well.

if he could go back, he'd want it to happen all over again, those joyous moments he used to see with his own two eyes now just memories of his past, something he's supposed to smile at when he looks back, but instead he frowns every time y/n and that stupid stupid cardigan come back in his mind to remind him of such things.

y/n, the same y/n who he could hug, hold hands with, talk to, kiss every day, is now nothing but a figment of his past, because he's not coming back, even with how much taerae wants him to.

so now, seeing that cardigan, that purple cardigan, the same one y/n had sewn and left for him right before he left, is the only thing that can remind taerae of him, the one constant reminder that he was taerae's first love.

but he was also taerae's first heartbreak.

taerae remembers, y/n was a designer.

he used to spend all of his time, day and night, sewing. he remembers the specifics, how y/n would constantly sit at his desk in front of the sewing machine, countless fabrics of different colors scattered around his room as he sewed whatever came to his mind.

y/n was truly a person of unique talent, he could create whatever came to his mind with just the right amount of time and focus.

in all honesty, taerae admired with work.

well— taerae admired everything about him, it's kind of difficult to not admire your partner when they're someone as hardworking as y/n.

taerae never really considered how y/n also admired him back..

whenever he thinks back to y/n, the kind of person he is, he remembers seeing him as this sort of light.

taerae had been going through the most horrible depression you could imagine, and when y/n came into his life, everything became better, became more bearable.

he swears that he could sit down and watch y/n sew for hours, just talking with him made taerae's day better, even if his day wasn't necessarily bad.

it seemed that after y/n came into his life, it all got better.

he was like the solution taerae needed after all that had come crashing down.

"why are you taking my measurements?" taerae asked once, he never really got the excitement y/n felt whenever he would sew, but he would always be supportive.

"because.." y/n mutters as he wraps the measuring tape around taerae's waist, narrowing his eyes so he can see the specific number. "i don't want to sew the whole entire thing and then have it be too big or small".

"stay there" y/n commands, taking his pen and quickly writing down the measurements. "give me a color".

"what?"

"just give me a color" y/n is now searching through different fabric colors, looking to taerae for an answer. "taerae!"

"okay um.. uh— purple".

"purple it is".

y/n clicks his tongue, looking to his boyfriend for a moment before looking back to his very messy desk. "alright get out".

"get out?" taerae asks, a small frown coming to his face.

"yes get out! you can't have spoilers!"

that's only really a fraction of how they were, y/n was definitely the outspoken type, he said what came to mind with no prior thinking beforehand, taerae found that hilarious as much as he found it crazy.

y/n was crazy confident, taerae doesn't get how people found it overbearing, he took pride in his work, that's literally a good thing.

but if there's one thing about y/n that taerae could never get, something about his personality that he understands makes him seem severely unlikable.

he kept secrets.

secrets that taerae wished he knew about, secrets that taerae couldn't even begin to imagine, let alone think that his partner would keep.

the two of them were okay, they were, taerae could not actually believe he'd been with a person in a relationship for almost four years, and y/n, well.. he was himself.

taerae didn't think they had any problems, he thought everything was okay. y/n shouldn't have felt like he had to hide something, taerae was an understanding person, he wouldn't judge him.

taerae felt as if his world was crashing down on him, the constant worry that he'd done something wrong and that y/n was hiding that fact from him because he was mad.

he felt a random shot of his insecurity that he'd never felt before.

it didn't help that he felt like he couldn't tell y/n either due to how much of an idiot he felt like.

"it looks nice on you" y/n says as he helps taerae put on the purple cardigan he'd sewn for him, he stares for a moment before smiling, staring at taerae with enamored eyes.

"purple suits you" y/n comments, and though taerae's heart warms at the compliment, his mind wanders to thoughts that make him feel horrible. "i knew it'd be pretty".

taerae gives a small smile, and y/n presses a small kiss to his cheek.

they were good, they were good, everything was okay, taerae didn't know where all this worry suddenly came from, he didn't feel good enough, y/n deserved better, he didn't deserve someone like him, someone that would drag him down.

said thoughts began keeping him up at night, thoughts about how he was probably the worst boyfriend in the world, how y/n was successful and he wasn't, all of that was what made them crumble.

even as y/n slept on his shoulders, even as y/n combed his fingers through his hair, even when y/n showered him with compliments, taerae still felt as if he'd done absolutely nothing to be a good lover.

there was something wrong with him.

it was all his fault that they crumbled, that y/n left, it was him who started that fight, it was him who felt like he wasn't adding enough, y/n didn't do anything wrong, none of them did anything wrong.

now he's gone, all because of taerae, all because he couldn't just shut up, all because of his stupid insecurities that he couldn't keep to himself. he hates himself, he hates that he couldn't just shut up.

now, all he has is a memory.

that stupid purple cardigan.

i see you creating and planning and Thinking. you’ve made characters with attention and uhhh scrutiny, with so much care that they feel real, less like a tale with a lesson, and more like an account recorded long ago. i see your work, and i see so many places where you made distinct and thoughtful choices—in color, lighting, shape, but also in positions, and perspectives, and shots, to the point where your pieces evolve into a sort of choreography. there’s motion and movement and apparel, elements that communicate so much nuance and greatly carry some implications, and i feel like that’s an incredible sort of attention, a quality of skill most marvelous. there’s an emotion and mood in your pieces (especially with avery and/or ansel) that i feel is very unique and distinct, and whether it’s intentional or intuitive, it always seems very… thorough. so fleshed out and multitudinous. i’m sorry for being incoherent, but i mean to say that your work is full of depth and creative thought, and it’s a depth and creativity that is so elegantly suffused into your work that i often miss it, but has suddenly become so apparent to me. there’s that piece with avery with his head on the table with a cup of water in front of him (heat wave?); the expression on his face, combined with the positon of his folded arms and head slumped on top of them, create a figure who exudes exhaustion (which sounds oxymoronic), and then you placed a cup of water in front of him, and let our sight of his face pass through it, so that his eyes not only look at the cup with a mixture of misery and desperation, but also to the audience with a plea, for reprieve from his anguish. and you did all the lines in redder hues and used a warm yellow for the tile and water (instead of a blue!!) and surrounded the work in a red frame, which (alongside the red lines) well communicate that feeling of relentless heat. the entire work is like an ode to misery of those hot summer days where the sun is trying to bake you alive and the air is trying to crush you with a weight of a boulder, and it’s so succinctly captured with one person, one object, and a bare setting. which is just super awesome!! that skill, of creating a picture that captures the atmosphere of the moment like that, is just in such great quality within you. it’s true of all your pieces, and i feel that there is a great amount of deliberation for these productions, and i feel that it comes together all so nicely! with such grace and completeness do your pieces appear, that an observer would first believe a piece to be a real moment in time before a choreographed design. i can see your genius in your art, and i find it tremendously impressive. your art captures and displays a range of themes and moods, and each one can stand singularly with a thematic might. i feel somewhat abashed for not recognizing i your creative process before now, but i hope that you know that the depths and multitudes within you, and which you have put into your work, indeed reach the eye with profundity and impact, and that your works are something i remember, and keep in mind when doing my own works of art.

i saw this in my inbox this morning and have been debating whether to even post it, because it somehow feels selfish to post it (it's incredibly positive towards me), but also selfish to keep it hidden in my inbox and never let you know how i felt reading it. but i think i need to post it after all, since you took the time to write all this, and i want to show my appreciation. thank you for truly looking at my art through such a thoughtful lens, and writing such beautiful prose and analyses. you made me notice things about my own art that i probably wouldn't have noticed, artistic decisions that i may have subconsciously made. i'm going to come back and read this message again whenever i feel bad about my art in the future, or when i feel cringe about posting my oc work again, and remind myself that there's at least one viewer out there who is understanding it 💛

Blaine and Lance's academy isn't St. Cerulean like Frederick and Leland - but both uniform is blue, so I feel the name of the school will be related to blue.. I suggest "Lapis Academy"

Frederick isn't a picky eater (contrasts to Leopold that dislike sweets, or Jamie that had disdain over 'healthly foods' like vegetables) - but he had tedency to eat green-colored foods, so similar with Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan but instead blue is green. a natural born people pleaser, he only ever wanted cassandra to feel a modicum of pride she felt for her other children for him too, but nothing he seemed to do was good enough for her—he wasn't enough.

it didn't matter how many sports he played, how many assignments he took on for extra credits or how many hours he put in studying only to score a C or D in that subject; it still wasn't enough for his mother.

warner's first act of rebellion came when he was a college freshman, majoring in applied mathematics and engineering with his whole future mapped out for him and he realised, for the first time, that he no longer needed to live under his mother's thumb and he could be whoever he wanted to be.

Okay, sadly I don’t have much information on this being and I’m not sure what to call them since she was a side character but y’all remember that cat banker that Hades intimidated for doing her job? Yeah, we’re celebrating her today. Let’s all clap because she deserves so much respect.

What’s insane to me is that she got mistreated by Hades at work during his so called “love arc” and yet no one bats an eye? Now imagine if this was Demeter everyone would be so fucking pissed. The blatant hypocrisy of it all is infuriating to me because I’m tired of this “let’s hold this character accountable but ignore the character who does worser shit!!” like no, if you’re really about holding characters accountable I expect there to be no biases or anything because Hades has been the absolute biggest menace in this whole comic and it needs to be addressed or else I’ll uproot myself and I don’t even know how to do it or what that means.

My thing with this interaction is that it was so disgusting. That whole episode made me want to rip out my spleen, how the hell are you going to get mad at that lady for following basic bank orders? She asks for Persephone’s ID and instead of just going to get her one Hades gets fucking furious are you serious? Why does everyone just look the other way with that? The fact that the employees are terrified of him coming and have to prepare themselves for his attitude is completely and utterly wretched. Like this isn’t the first time Hades has gone out of his way to abuse his powers just for Persephone’s sake, and I think it’s fucking ridiculous. Don’t you think she’ll need an ID to interact with your modern and up to date world? Don’t you think she’ll need to learn things on her own because she’s going to be down there? Or does Hades just like her having the IQ of a fucking donut and likes the fact that she HAS to depend on him for regular everyday shit.

This isn’t what respect looks like folks. If I’m in a relationship with you and you feel the need to spoon feed me every bit of information and keep things from me for my sake we might as well not even be together. It’s not a relationship it’s a paternal thing that we’re trying to mark as a relationship. Think about it, Hades helps Persephone with everything, explains everything to her, lends her money, protects her, and speaks on her behalf. Who does that remind you of? A father. Hades is taking the role of a father and Persephone the child because she’s retaining all of this information from him and him only, many other people have already told her things that Hades had to dumb down for her but she only listens to Hades about it? Who else does that? A young child with their parents because they know them and they have the upmost trust with them. It’s giving Father-Daughter and I’m so upset no one calls this stuff out, it’s sick to even create something like this and market it as a romance. Romance is an art form between two souls, it’s beautiful and messy, passionate and determined, creative yet powerful. Romance is so important in literature and movies and Love is a key thing that makes us who we are, it shouldn’t be used like this.

Anyways, back to the gorgeous bank manager and her employee. I loved her design I thought it was so cute and really unique, her eyes stood out and I loved the way her outfit complimented her.. fur? Everything went well with it and she’s literally the only thing I enjoyed in that chapter cause she was so breathtaking she deserves the world and more because god… The way she was treated made me want to eat a damn tree. It was so angering cause he didn’t even have to do that at all it was unnecessary and completely immature.

I loved her little personality too, she seems like the type of person to get things done and I respect that a lot because it’s a refreshing character trait from the main cast. She also seems approachable, likable, charming, kind, encouraging, responsible, and overall wonderful. I love her and I would love to see a webtoon only starring her cause let’s be real, someone needs to guide Hades on how to be a better boss and king, and who else to do it then the queen herself? The bank manager.

Anyways, sadly that’s all I can say about her since we know so little but genuinely I’m so upset how overlooked and ignored she was in that episode. She didn’t deserve any of that for doing her job, Hades deserves to get fucking fired fuck him. Also sorry for the little rant but I was trying to refresh my memory of her and I had to sorta read the episode, update that shit gave me a migraine with how shitty he was. I’m really at my limit if I see Hades mistreat another innocent bystander literally doing nothing I might make a 20 paragraph post about how disgusting and vile I think he is because there’s no words to describe the things I wanna talk about with him. My hate for him is genuinely with the passion of a million suns, he’s terrible. Anyways, love her and her magnificent employees <3
