question: how did you discover/get into scooby doo?

this is something i'm always so interested to hear, being that there are few people who don't have at least some small tie to the franchise. whether you would consider it one of your biggest current interests or it's just something nostalgic from your childhood, i'd love to know how you found scooby and what it means to you!

#for me it was my dad! he grew up with the original show and wanted to introduce it to me #so one day when i was maybe? seven?? he came home with the winter wonderdog dvd and we watched it that night #from there we watched every single scooby doo movie that had ever been made #and got the new ones as they came out in subsequent years! #watching a new scooby movie with my dad every weekend are honestly some of my favourite childhood memories #also what's new scooby doo had also started airing on one of the main cartoon channels here in the uk around 2010 #so that's the show i watched the most consistently as a kid #velma was my original favourite of the gang because i looked a lot like her (big glasses/same haircut/etc.) #people would always compare me to her and it genuinely gave me a lot of confidence in my appearance that stays with me to this day #but fred was always my firm second favourite - he made me laugh the most of any character #and took on a deeper meaning to me in my adolescence when i realised i was autistic and strongly identified with his portrayals as such #the characters are probably what's kept me coming back all this time - they've been with me forever #and i love them individually + as a team who support each other with their unique skills and love for one another #but also the wacky adventures and general aesthetic #many people joke about the basic plot being the same every time but it makes my autistic brain happy #i love permanence and consistency baby!!!!! #and the different variations on that same formula always keep things fresh and fun #anyway ramble over #looking forward to hearing you guys' responses! :D #scooby doo #nem misc posts :]

This time with an ancient and primal anger that swells and tugs at the animal parts of her mind, “Or does it matter now because it’s one of yours?”

“No.” He raises a hand, pointing one finger at her. “No.” Heinrix turns away, running a hand through his hair, still a mess from being abed with her, “This conversation is happening because you decided to mislead me by actively hiding evidence from me. I did not expect you to be so unfair as to accuse me of frivolous sentimentality.”

“Fair? You care about fair? Tell that to the graves of Vistenza Vyatt’s family. Go to their graves and ask them what fair is! If they even have graves!” Her throat burns with every thought she has kept bound within her. “Do you think it was fair when you sentenced them all to their deaths?” Aylin reaches for the bedpost, her breaths slow and heavy.

He pins her with his gaze, “You agreed. You bargained-”

“Would you have been refused?!” She hisses at him, “Could you – no, the Inquisition, could it have been refused?”

Silence.

Silence is a funeral shroud stretched over them like shared skin.

When Heinrix speaks again, it is with a low, quiet voice.

“Why did you share your bed with me?”

Here's the color reference that I've been using to make Looking Glasses (prettied up a bit). This was one of the first things I made for the comic, but a lot of it wasn't finalized until after I'd already finished the first few pages. These character designs have changed a lot since then, especially Lancer's, so I'm actually in the process of making a new color reference guide with full-body paper dolls so I can design outfits on them. This guide was incredibly useful though, especially after I had Lancer paint his nails five different colors, which made my life a living hell.

the only thing the ONLY THING i missed in glass onion was a post credit scene or whatever of benoit calling home from like the airport or somewhere. and phillip is already on the phone with marta. (and also maybe benoit's online friends from among us idk.) it mirrors the phone conference scene from the beginning except it's all people who actually like each other geeking out about a billionaire getting burned. ALL i want all i NEED is benoit calling like "darling you won't believe-" and phillip going "hold on marta's on the other line she'll want to hear this i'm sure"
