Okay, so first of all Dan would like to say it’s not his fault. Ellie was the one to bring some unknown object into the speeder and Jazz was the one driving. Or had Sam been driving- didn’t matter! It wasn’t his fault, he wasn’t the one shooting at them, he wasn’t the one to break whatever, he was not the one to open a stupid portal, and so it wasn’t his fault!

So why is he now like, five years old, and why is the speeder crashed in some sort of corn field. Why is everyone- except for Jazz whose now like six- also like three at most?! And- oh fuck the door just opened and… okay that’s a kid. Like, nine at most.

A kid and an adult, who he hadn’t noticed at first so again, it’s not his fault if he hissed at them and tried to hide his not-siblings behind him. It’s also not fair they’re apparently stuck to ghost speak for who knows how long, but at least they can understand the people.

“Martha, get some blankets, it’s happened again!”

greenverse, a DSMP Hunger Games victor AU. This is one of the more ambitious things I've tried to do, just in terms of scope, and I'm really happy with how it's turning out; I'm particularly happy with it as a character piece where everyone in the scene has an internal world even if the POV character is wrong as hell about it, but it's also something I'm proud of as a commentary on this fandom.

Charge Or on Field Azure, an RGU Juri character study. I hold that fic is meta and this is by far my most literal example of that theory but I do just like it as a piece as well as for the arguments it's making.

or it turned out we already were, a post-red-ending We Know the Devil fic. I really like both Venus and Neptune and I really like their relationship here; it's one that I've thought about reprising now that it's been three years or so.

those voracious sea birds of the north atlantic chill, a DSMP quackbur fic. I have a lot of feelings about c!quackbur and suicide. I also have a lot of feelings about bodies that don't do what you want them to. I think I braided those threads together pretty well here.

for though she cannot fly she is an excellent clamberer, an Eternal Lies fic. My GM was astonishingly patient with me when we played EL, and in particular was very patient with how much time I spent in their DMs going "so based on the implications of this one-off dialogue line you probably weren't thinking about, i have come up with a complicated backstory for these two NPCs." I had a lot of fun in that game and I'm very fond of this fic.

if you're wondering why bob is here it's bc in the original villareal story there was a very minor background detail that diego lobo and bob pancakes dated in college and broke up tragically and that's where the story peaked. so i included him it's still canon

i did these in my this is the fall sim style so i'm thinking. if they exist in this universe what's all their opinions on the 'did jacques do it' situation. let's take a look

don: saw a photo of jacques's wife on the news during the investigation. said "whoa mama that's a hot babe!" like johnny bravo and did not read the headline. does not know anything about it still.

vlad: well he's psychic he could figure out the truth if he actually cared. and he has!

olive: obviously respects it. except for the getting investigated part, would never happen to her.

diego: does not think jacques did it but enjoys the tabloids. knows other rich people personally who he thinks have killed their spouses

morgyn: will post things like "friendly reminder that j*cques v*llareal literally killed his wife and is a billionaire so maybe don't go to one of their hotels" on tumblr and will then do a call out post about like a fanfic writer who wrote an unhealthy relationship with more severity

pascal: knows conspiracy theories and this one is bullshit. or maybe it just doesn't interest him as much as aliens and that's why he thinks that

jeb: has a very "well of course he did. them rich folk can do whatever they want. there ain't no hope for the rest of us" while kicking a can down the road approach

bob: thinks he did it. is very alarmed that it was brushed off. eliza's like bob book the hotel and he's like am i going crazy. does anyone hear me.
