SAUDADE — PornoGraffitti Cherry’s theme, as heard in Bullet Train (2022)

   For Cherry’s title in the soundtrack, I started by digging deep into Brazilian music to reflect her culture and upbringing. When I couldn’t find anything that hit quite right, I turned toward the Japanese covers of “Stayin’ Alive” and “Holding out for a Hero” for inspiration. Saudade is a uniquely Portuguese term that conveys a sense of longing and incompleteness. It can be an insatiable desire, particularly because the saudade can be for something that never quite existed in the first place. The track by PornoGraffitti is more or less a standard love song, but with a strong Latin influence. It takes on a twist if one considers that Cherry, forever chasing after new thrills, may feel saudade for her own happiness...

Additionally, being against vaccines for legitimate medical reasons is fine - for example, if someone is allergic to eggs or chicken and thusly cannot get vaccinated due to most vaccines containing chicken embryonic DNA, that is fine. Also, if you are against vaccines for ethical and moral reasons, that is also okay. Animals like chickens, mice, monkeys, cows, and pigs are often inhumanely tested on for vaccinations and also are often hurt in the process of removing the necessary components from them to make the vaccines. If you are an extremist when it comes to abortion. I don’t care which side of the argument you are on - I will not accept pro-birthers or extreme pro-aborts. I understand “pro-birther” to mean those who claim that people must absolutely NEVER have an abortion, even when it is a case of life and death for the mother and child. It also refers to those who are against the general medical procedure of ectopic pregnancy abortions. I understand “extreme pro-aborts” to mean those who would abort in every circumstance and never want women to have children. It also applies to those who would force or coerce a woman into getting an abortion against her will. It also applies to those who support aborting a perfectly healthy baby due to only its biological sex or some other underlying condition (ex. “I wanted a baby boy and I am pregnant with a baby girl. Well, guess I gotta abort her and try again for a boy!” or “I wanted a NORMAL baby, not one with autism/down syndrome/disabilities/handicaps/etc.”).

If you consider yourself to be an exclusionist and are rude or loud about it. Respectful exclusionists may or may not be welcomed here - that is up to the blog owner to decide upon.

Wataru Karasuma (Not Lives) lanzará un nuevo Manga en la revista Dengeki Daioh

Además la revista lanzará 3 nuevas series Manga en junio. 

La edición de junio de la revsta Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh de Kadokawa ha anunciado el jueves que Wataru Karasuma (Not Lives) esta preparando un nuevo Manga original para serialización. La revista no dio más detalles sobre el nuevo Manga de Karasuma. 

Karasuma lanzó su Manga de Not Lives (imagen de arriba) en la revista Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh en 2011, y el sell ASCII Media Works de Kadokawa publicó el décimo y final tomo recopilatorio de la serie en enero de esyte año. 

La revista también anunció tres nuevas series Manga que iniciará en su edición de agosto, a la venta el 27 de junio. Yuu Sanui y Sumihito Itami lanzarán el Manga tentativamente titulado de Asobitagari no Kiryuu-san (imagen de abajo). El Manga "de juegos de mesa” giran entorno a un jugador solitario y una chica que ama los juegos de mesa. Sayaka Kiryuu es una estudiante modelo, pero los rumores van entorno a que ella está saliendo con adultos. Su compañero de clase Takuya Takatsuki termina yendo con ella un día, y se entera de que lo que hace con los adultos es jugar en juegos de mesa

Izumi Kawanami lanzará el Manga yuti titulado Kago no Shoujo wa Koi o Suru. La historia toma lugar en un internado solo para chicas inteligentes y elegantes.

Kiichi Kiama lanzará un Manga “de comedia escolar en un mundo alternativo (isekai)" titulado Maou no Kawaii Yamada wa Yoiko. El Manga sigue a Yamada, un empleado de una compañía que esta en sus 30 años de edad, y un joven rey demonio. 

La edición de junio de la revista Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh lanzó tres nuevas series Manga y otras tres nuevas series serán lanzadas en su edición de julio, a la venta el 27 de mayo.

刀と鞘 (katana to saya) by Ali Project | Translation

This is the second opening to Katanagatari and one of my favorite songs of all time, but I translated it just because it reminds me of megop and I needed to do it so I could show it to other people. The song is about two women meeting in a battle to the death, however the narrator expresses euphoria at this concept and refers to her rival as "beloved". The song can be foun on youtube, spotify and this is an upload of the music video. I highly recommend listening to it as I consider the music key to express the tone of the lyrics.

I understand “pro-birther” to mean those who claim that people must absolutely NEVER have an abortion, even when it is a case of life and death for the mother and child. It also refers to those who are against the general medical procedure of ectopic pregnancy abortions. I understand “extreme pro-aborts” to mean those who would abort in every circumstance and never want women to have children. It also applies to those who would force or coerce a woman into getting an abortion against her will. It also applies to those who support aborting a perfectly healthy baby due to only its biological sex or some other underlying condition (ex. “I wanted a baby boy and I am pregnant with a baby girl. Well, guess I gotta abort her and try again for a boy!” or “I wanted a NORMAL baby, not one with autism/down syndrome/disabilities/handicaps/etc.”).

OK my thoughts on GATE: Kawaii JSDF. It's a completely nippon-ichi right wing fantasy wankfest. The manga was the most egregious when it began listing atrocities by invading forces and asks if Japan will ever go that route with the special region, and you end up sitting there pointing at Nanking and Unit 731 yelling "WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU?!". Hell the complete decimation of the Allied armies becomes morally dubious after the second wave. The enjoyment saps away quickly when there's no shred of tension, Japan is the moral centre of the world, JSDF can beat all other special forces (because “lul Russia, China, America are stupid enough to carry out a snatch and grab at the exact same time”). Itami feels a lot like a self insert as well; a nerdy army guy who just coasts to being a ranger and SF operative. Basically GATE is a fun concept brought low by nationalistic wankery.
