I’ve been wondering about the lore behind the 1.5 inch rose quartz elephant. Please tell me in as much detail you humanly can, I didn’t join the fandom yet.

HELLO! the lore start with this "Giving George $5,000 To Spend On Amazon" video, dream gives george $5,000 to spend on amazon, ends up buying the rose quartz elephant with the famous quote "one and a half inches, dream 😏" that video is also george’s first time showing his face as georgenotfound. his face reveal kinda. so essentially george bought the rose quartz elephant with the money dream gave to george to show his appreciation. now a few months (maybe a year... i cant remember) later, george shows he still has the elephant sitting on his desk with his other memorabilia. he even brings it to his london flat and it sits on his desk there too. and george has a thing for putting special item on his desk. then, when he moved to florida, he of course brought it. but not only that, on christmas, dream buys a christmas card for george, where he writes "ps i love you" inside (most likely, they didnt actually say what it said). (video here starting at the card part) with the christmas card is a little bag. as george is opening it, sapnap says "please be a ring." dream is visibly nervous/excited. in the bag is none other than another 1.5 in. rose quartz elephant. george now has two elephants from when dream is showing his appreciation for george. hope this is a good explanation!

I've seen Blank Points before but never actually unlocked it myself until yesterday and man, I feel like Kingdom Hearts really is about its characters, like I can't describe that scene to someone who hasn't already seen it and even then-

I can't expect someone to start with Birth By Sleep and get it because they won't. On a surface level, you see all these people saying Sora's name and looking at each other with awkward pauses. It's cheesy. But for a fan, that means everything, they're not just awkward pauses, you know what they're thinking, you know how they feel. They don't need words to say it!

There are games, good games, that supply a connection to their characters but it matters WHAT they say a lot of the time. Some don't even need a connection to their characters to be good but that's Kingdom Hearts' strong suit. Playing all the games is so rewarding because I can't say you'll ever feel a better connection to characters. I could listen to DiZ ramble about nothing because I enjoy it, doesn't matter what he says and that's one of the longer monologs of the series yet its not boring to me.

Kingdom Hearts isn't something that can be found on a surface level like that, I'd probably never feel that way if I hadn't sat down and actually played it myself instead of watching the cutscenes on YouTube. Other games, sure, that's fine to do but not Kingdom Hearts, which is kind of ironic since they have multiple recap movies 🤔

But I feel like Nomura KNOWS this because that's literally the THEME of the series with friendship and connection.

shout out to people who's family isnt entirely bad or entirely good, but something in between and you dont know how to feel about them. you feel angry but you also feel guilty, because you know they genuinely love and care about you, but sometimes they show it in a way you know its not okay. your feelings are valid, your anger and sadness and grief are valid, and you dont have to prove this to no one. bigger shout out to those with memory issues who know something isnt right but can't recall all of the bad events, only the feelings, which only increases the guilt.
