How reader met the Haikyuu characters?
Ooh this is cute! Since you didn't specific any characters, I'm going to do the first few that come to mind hope that is okay(:
Characters: Hinata, Iwaizumi, Kageyama, Bokuto, Kenma. If you want someone else, please lmk!
Hinata - You definitely meet Hinata while you're on vacation in Brazil. You're lounging at the beach near where Hinata is practicing. He accidentally hits the ball close to, knock over your stuff and spraying sand all over you. He apologizes profusely and then when he sees how fine you are he asks you out to dinner as an "apology."
Iwaizumi - You meet him in a college class. You're both going for physical therapy degrees and the professor is having you practice stretches with classmates. You get paired up with Iwaizumi, who is super respectful even when he's basically stretching your legs open. By the end of class he asks you out on a study date aka a real date but he's just to nervous to ask you straight out.
Kageyama - You meet him at the gym. You see him practicing his serve on the court. He's been at it for a long time and you can tell he's frustrated. You go up to him and give him a few tips, as you played in HS. He doesn't think much of it until he tries it and it works. He would be like mesmerized that you were able to pick out his error and correct it so easily. He asks you to stay and practice and takes you out after
Bokuto - You meet him at a college party. At first you think he's like every other college dude, but when you talk to him you realize he is truly sweet. He's not just trying to get in your pants, he's genuinely interested in getting to know you. He's super charming and respectful and looks out for you the entire night. When you play, and win, a round of beer pong together, he gets your number so he can take you out to celebrate.
Kenma - You meet him in the video game isle. You both reach for the last copy of a new video game at the same time. Kenma turns ready to tell this guy off, then realizing it's actually a very pretty girl. He immediately gets flustered, but chats with you about the game for a little. You eventually tell him he can have it as long as he invites you over to play and he blushes up to his ears, but happily agrees.

Tales Spun on the Midway
Tumblr media
Characters: Iwaizumi x Reader Synopsis: In the whimsical realm of the midway, love's symphony plays. Hearts entwined, adventures shared, a tale written in fairy lights and fireworks. Let their love inspire us to embrace life's ferris wheel, where stories bloom and hearts dance. Content warning: none
-
As the summer sun beamed down on the vibrant amusement park, laughter and excitement filled the air. It was a well-deserved day off for the Seijoh volleyball crew, and they were eager to let loose and have some fun. Oikawa, their charismatic captain, had sparked the idea, urging everyone to make the most of their time together.
From the moment you all arrived, you found yourselves swept up in the whirlwind of amusement park delights. Racing from one thrilling ride to another, your cheers echoed through the park as you experienced the adrenaline rush of each attraction. Laughter blended with screams as you soared through the sky on roller coasters and spun around on dizzying teacup rides.
Your appetites were fueled by the contagious enthusiasm of the day. You indulged in a smorgasbord of delectable treats, devouring cotton candy, caramel apples, and funnel cakes with gusto. The enticing aroma of freshly grilled corn and savory snacks filled the air, enticing your taste buds and leading you to the nearest food stalls.
Games scattered throughout the park beckoned, and you couldn't resist joining in the spirited competitions. You competed with fervor, aiming for oversized plushies, coveted game consoles, and the latest gadgets. Makki's strategic wit and Mattsun's uncanny accuracy often led to triumph, filling your arms with triumphantly won prizes.
As the day progressed and the sun began its descent, painting the sky in hues of fiery orange and gentle pink, the crew found themselves in line for the magnificent Ferris wheel. Anticipation hung in the air as you awaited your turn to board the towering attraction.
Amidst the bustling group, your heart fluttered with a mix of excitement and nervousness. Concealed beneath the guise of friendship, you harbored a secret crush on Iwaizumi Hajime, the unwavering and strong-willed vice captain of the crew. While Oikawa, Makki, and Mattsun were aware of your feelings, Iwaizumi remained blissfully oblivious, his attention consumed by his love for the sport.
Over the past year, Oikawa and the crew have taken up the roles of supportive wingmen, subtly pushing you and Iwaizumi closer whenever an opportunity arose. There had been small glimpses of progress, fleeting moments that fueled your hope. Yet, as you stood in line for the Ferris wheel, you couldn't help but wonder if your feelings would forever remain unspoken.
With the setting sun casting its enchanting glow upon you, the crew eagerly anticipated their turn on the Ferris wheel. The gentle breeze whispered promises of possibility, and in your heart, a flicker of hope ignited.
The anticipation continued to grow as the line started to disperse slowly while you waited in line for the Ferris wheel. However, before you could embark on your magical journey, Oikawa, being the mischievous planner he was, suggested a game of rock-paper-scissors to determine the ride partners. It was his way of subtly ensuring that you would have a chance to share a special moment with Iwaizumi, your childhood friend and object of affection.
Laughter filled the air as the crew formed a circle, ready to compete for the coveted opportunity. The rhythmic chants of "rock, paper, scissors" echoed as hands swiftly formed shapes, hopes held high. The suspense built with each round, until finally the matches were decided and the ride partners were paired up.
As luck would have it, the final round ended with you and Iwaizumi becoming ride partners. A mix of excitement and nervousness surged within you as you exchanged glances with him, a silent acknowledgment of the momentous occasion. Oikawa, always the playful instigator, couldn't resist sending you a sly wink, a gesture that seemed to convey his unwavering support and good luck.
A few more minutes ticked by, and it was finally your group's turn to step onto the majestic Ferris wheel. Iwaizumi boarded the ride with ease, his natural strength and confidence evident in every move. To your surprise and delight, he extended a hand towards you, a silent invitation to join him. You accepted with a fluttering heart, relishing the touch of his warm hand against yours.
As the two of you settled into the Ferris wheel carriage, the world around you seemed to fade away, leaving only the gentle sway of the ride and the growing connection between you. It was a precious moment, a chance to be alone together amidst the backdrop of the amusement park's dazzling lights and the soft hues of the setting sun.
Oikawa's mischievous plan had set the stage for something extraordinary. It was as if fate itself had conspired to bring you and Iwaizumi together in this intimate space, a perfect opportunity to reveal the feelings that had been brewing within your heart for so long.
With hope and anticipation, you wondered if this would be the day, the day when you would finally find the courage to let Iwaizumi know just how much he meant to you.
As the Ferris wheel continued its gentle ascent, a comfortable silence enveloped you and Iwaizumi. The soft creaking of the ride's mechanics provided a soothing backdrop to your thoughts, while the panoramic view of the amusement park spread out before you, captivating in its splendor.
Feeling a mixture of nerves and excitement, you found yourself stealing glances at Iwaizumi, observing his relaxed demeanor and the genuine smile that adorned his face. His presence, as always, brought you a sense of comfort and ease, but today it also stirred a newfound courage within you.
Unable to contain your curiosity any longer, you mustered the courage to break the silence. "Hey, Iwaizumi, how are you enjoying the day so far?" You asked, your voice betraying a hint of excitement.
Iwaizumi turned to face you, his eyes warm and his expression filled with genuine interest. "I'm having a great time," he replied, his voice steady and reassuring. "It's nice to take a day off once in a while, and not to mention it's also been a while since the last time I went to an amusement park that I forgot how fun it is here."
A wave of relief washed over you, his words easing any doubts that may have lingered. It was a reminder of the genuine bond you shared and the joy you brought to each other's lives. The familiarity and ease of your friendship provided a solid foundation for the next chapter you longed to explore.
As the Ferris wheel continued its ascent, memories of the earlier rides flooded your mind, and a shared laughter bubbled up between you and Iwaizumi. You reminisced about the exhilaration of the roller coasters, the spins of the teacup ride that left you both dizzy, and the comical mishaps that occurred during the water ride. The amusement park had provided a canvas for unforgettable moments and shared laughter.
In those moments of laughter and shared memories, you couldn't help but marvel at how far the two of you had come. From the first time you met to the present day, your friendship has grown, evolving into something more meaningful. Iwaizumi's unwavering kindness, his mischievous spirit, and his genuine care for you had carved a special place in your heart.
As you continued to converse, you found your nerves gradually dissipating, replaced by a newfound sense of comfort and bravery. With each passing minute, you felt a growing conviction that the time had come to express your feelings. Yet you held back, savoring the build-up and cherishing this journey towards something momentous.
The atmosphere on the Ferris wheel shifted subtly as the anticipation reached its peak. Despite your growing bravery, you couldn't deny the flutter of nerves within your chest. Your heart raced against your ribcage, a rhythmic drumbeat that threatened to give away your true emotions. It didn't go unnoticed by Iwaizumi, who, ever attentive, turned to you with concern in his eyes.
"Hey, are you okay?" he asked, his voice laced with genuine care.
You, wearing a sheepish smile that betrayed your inner excitement, shook your head lightly. It was a gesture that conveyed both your nerves and the thrill of what you were about to say. You looked like a teenager hopelessly in love, a mix of vulnerability and giddiness.
Summoning a surge of courage, you took a deep breath and looked deeply into his eyes. "Hey, Iwaizumi, I have something to tell you."
His gaze intensified, his brows raising slightly as he leaned in, intrigued.
"So, it all started with friendship, like some cheesy rom-com plot. We became partners in crime, always cheering each other on and tackling life's ups and downs together. Remember the time we devoured that giant bowl of ice cream and laughed until our stomachs hurt? Or when we had that epic Nerf gun battle during one of our training camps and left no survivor?"
As you spoke, memories flooded your mind, each one accompanied by a smile and a flutter in your heart.
"But, you know, amidst those laughter-filled adventures, something unexpected happened. I found myself falling for you. It was like a plot twist I didn't see coming—a whirlwind of emotions. All those little moments—the way you smiled at me and teased me— they made my heart skip a beat."
You paused, allowing the weight of your confession to settle in the air. Then, with a playful grin, you continued.
"So, Iwaizumi, here's the punchline: I'm head over heels for you. Like, heart-eyes emoji, blushing-roses-everywhere, butterflies-in-my-stomach kind of love. It's been driving me crazy, but in the best possible way."
The confession hung in the air, a mix of anticipation and excitement. Time seemed to slow down as you awaited his response, your heart dancing with anticipation.
Iwaizumi's eyes widened, a mix of surprise and contemplation flickering across his face. He opened his mouth to say something, but no words emerged. Instead, he reached out and gently took your hand in his, a silent reassurance of his presence.
In that moment, the Ferris wheel reached its highest point, as if the universe itself held its breath, awaiting the outcome of your heartfelt confession.
The silence enveloped the Ferris wheel cabin, creating a cocoon of anticipation and vulnerability. Seconds felt like an eternity as you and Iwaizumi locked eyes, both aware of the weight of the moment.
Finally, breaking through the stillness, Iwaizumi cleared his throat and found his voice, albeit with a touch of bashfulness. His face flushed a deep shade of red, a testament to the emotions swirling within him.
"You know, when you said all those things just now, it caught me off guard," he began, his voice a mix of sincerity and youthful charm. "But as I look at you, as I think back to all the memories we've made, it feels... right."
He paused, his gaze softening as he continued, his words carefully chosen. "Maybe I can't say that I feel as strongly as you do, at least not yet. But what we have, it's special. I mean, judging from how calm I am right now, despite the fact that things like this usually make me nervous and awkward, hell, I am not the most articulate guy, but look at me telling you all this without stuttering. It's obvious that our connection was nurtured by countless hours of practice, laughter, and even those occasional arguments. And honestly, I can't imagine my life without you in it."
A shy smile graced his lips as he reached out, intertwining his fingers with yours. "So, let's take it step by step, enjoy every moment, and see where this path leads us."
His genuine words, filled with both vulnerability and determination, washed over you, warming your heart. In that instant, you knew that this journey you were embarking on together held the promise of something beautiful.
As the weight of their confessions settled, a sense of relief washed over you. It was as if a burden had been lifted from your shoulders, and a newfound lightness filled the air. You couldn't contain the joy that surged within you, causing laughter to bubble up from deep within your being.
Your laughter, a symphony of happiness, reached Iwaizumi's ears, and it earned you a heartfelt chuckle in response. His eyes, once familiar and warm, now held a newfound spark, a glimmer of something more. It was a look that spoke volumes, one that made your heart skip a beat.
In that moment of unspoken understanding, fueled by the shared joy between you, you couldn't resist the overwhelming urge to seal this beautiful connection with a kiss. Leaning in, you pressed your lips gently against his, the sweetness of the moment enveloping you both.
To your delight, Iwaizumi didn't hesitate to reciprocate. His lips met yours eagerly, a tangible expression of the emotions swirling within him. The kiss deepened, filled with tenderness and the promise of a beautiful future together.
In that single, stolen moment, everything fell into place. The amusement park, the Ferris wheel, the laughter, and the confessions—all of it culminated in this blissful exchange that sealed the bond between you and Iwaizumi.
As the kiss drew to a gentle close, you pulled back slightly, gazing into Iwaizumi's eyes with a mix of affection and sincerity. With a soft smile, you whispered, "I love you, Iwaizumi."
The three little words held immeasurable weight, carrying the depth of your emotions. But along with the declaration of love, you felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude. You reached out and tenderly touched his cheek, your voice filled with heartfelt appreciation as you said, "Thank you for listening and for accepting my heart. It means the world to me."
In that precious moment, you made a promise, not only to him but also to yourself. You held his gaze, your eyes shining with determination, as you made a solemn vow. "I will take care of your heart, Iwaizumi, and love you unconditionally. Through every challenge and every triumph, I'll be there by your side."
The air seemed to hold a sense of serenity as your words hung between you, a testament to the depth of your connection. The park, once filled with the joyful chaos of the day, now felt hushed, as if acknowledging the significance of this moment.
As the Ferris wheel continued its gentle descent, you and Iwaizumi settled into a comfortable conversation, and the atmosphere between you filled with a newfound warmth and understanding. The tension that once hung in the air had dissipated, replaced by a sense of ease and genuine connection.
You laughed at each other's jokes, shared stories of memorable moments from the amusement park, and even engaged in playful banter. It was as if time stood still within the confines of the Ferris wheel, allowing you both to enjoy each other's company without any external distractions.
Finally, as the ride came to a stop and the doors opened, you stepped off the cart, only to be greeted by the sight of Oikawa and the rest of the group wearing mischievous smiles. Their plan had worked, and their pride was evident.
Oikawa couldn't resist teasing Iwaizumi, playfully poking fun at his obliviousness. But this time, instead of his usual retort, Iwaizumi grinned and played along. It was a lighthearted moment, showcasing the newfound camaraderie and understanding that had developed between them.
As the group began to disperse, you and Iwaizumi shared one last lingering gaze, an unspoken acknowledgment of the deep connection you had formed. The memories of this day and the confession that unfolded will forever hold a special place in your hearts.
With a mix of excitement and contentment, you realized that this was just the beginning of a beautiful journey. The roller coaster of emotions had led you to this moment, and now you were ready to face whatever came next, hand in hand.
Under the canopy of lights and amidst the whispers of dreams, you stepped into the night, united by a love that would guide you through every twist and turn, and together, you embarked on a journey that would redefine the meaning of forever.

iwaizumi hajime was resting his head on your lap. you combed your fingers through his spiky brunette locks, which slowly lulled him to sleep. he can only think about how he managed to get such a cute girlfriend (who he.. may have thought was confessing to oikawa, and not him).
though the both of you go to different schools, you always drop off a bento box full of delicious food on iwaizumi's desk. everyone in class marvels at it, drooling by just the aroma. oikawa doesn't want to admit it, but even he is jealous of his best friend's new relationship.
iwaizumi travels over to your high school after seijoh's dismissal, and he waits patiently for you to come out. once you do, you lock arms with him, and the both of you walk each other home.
every time iwaizumi has to do push-ups, you willingly offer to plant yourself on iwaizumi's back to help add difficulty to his training. due to it, you've noticed that iwaizumi's gotten bulkier.
you've never once questioned iwaizumi's love for godzilla because truthfully, you find it adorable.
what else you find adorable is the way iwaizumi's face glows a nice shade of red whenever you shower him in love, give him quick kisses, or pat him on the head.
whenever you get drowsy from the lack of sleep, you often gush over iwaizumi like he's not even there.
"..my boyfriend is s'strong, and.." a pause, "very s'per amazingly handsome. dunno why.. girls like 'kawa when hajime is right there, but s'whatever. i have hajime all to myself.." cue the infamous red face of iwaizumi hajime. too bad you've already fallen asleep to see it.

Weaving: Rāranga & Light: Mārama
Starting to think about how I will visualise the Mārama section of the artefact. Here I am looking into bringing together two concepts : light in understanding, and the materiality of harakeke in rāranga (weaving) - as a media which is more authentic/representative of wāhine Māori
Tumblr media
‘The  pattern  created  for  Elisapeta  Hinemoa  Heta  was  derivative  and  symbolic  of  Hine  te  iwaiwa,  guardian  of weaving and knowledge for future generations. In the stories we know, she is also referred to as ‘God of Potential’. Threaded liked  this  connection  to  Elisapeta  who’s  involved  in  projects  that  celebrate  women  and  a  focus  on creating better communities. Her mahi has a strong connection to the korero, huna and māmā and ‘weaving’ was a strong representation of this. Martin Awa Clarke Langdon, Carin Wilson and Rangi Kipa let us repurpose patterns that were significant to them and Desna Whaanga-Schollum’s concept behind Janet Lilo’s tatau design identifies the spaces in between woven binding and the safe little enclosures which the crossovers make’
Clarke, K., Grieve, F. (2022). Threaded magazine: Adopting a Culturally Connected Approach. Revista GEMInIS, Vol 13, Iss 2 (2022). https://doi.org/10.53450/2179-1465.RG.2022v13i2p105-119
This reference to Hine te iwaiwa lead me to look further into who this wāhine is, to think about using her story as a framework for the Mārama section of the artefact, particularly in connection to weaving.
In this page on ‘Mana Ririki’ - an organisation which combats domestic abuse in Aotearoa through focusing on inspiring change for tāmariki - the story of Hine te iwaiwa is used as a pūrakau with wisdom really relevant to domestic abuse
Tumblr media
https://www.ririki.org.nz/violence-free-parenting/he-wahine-toa-hinaurahine-te-iwaiwa#
Could Hine te iwaiwa be a wāhine toa used to tell the story of mana wāhine?
Tumblr media
Te Aka
Hine te iwaiwa is called an atua - it’s interesting to see here that atua actually doesn’t necessarily mean ‘God’ - it is kind of ancestor, spiritual being. This is an important definition to have as I navigate connecting my faith to Te Ao Māori.
How Threaded symbolised Te Kore, Te Pō, Te Ao Mārama
‘Conceptually Threaded incorporated both visual and structural queues from the multi-layered beginning story of Te Kore –void of potential, Te Pō –night realms, and Te Ao Mārama –the realm of light. Figure 14 signifies the importance of colour to consider the metamorphosis from Te Kore, through the Te Pō and Te Wheiao realms. The dark shades of the cover sections transition  into  warm  hues  of  orange  and  pink,  symbolising  coming  into  being  and  the  light  beginning  to  break through.’
Use of colour in storytelling. Travelling from darkest dark, to lightest dark, to darkest light, to lightest light The time and space in Te Kore before Te Pō and Te Ao Mārama - te Kore framed as a previous, a waiting space (this idea even, of the womb before it is filled)
‘It  is  the  traditional  Māori view  that  we  exist  as  an  extension  on  the  family  tree  of  the  universe.  We  trace  our lineage beyond our grandparents and find the roots of our ancestry in those of the beginnings of the universe. Our  connection  to  all  that  has  been,  is,  and  will  be,  provides  the  foundation  of  our  culture  and  informs  our traditional practices as well as our understanding of who we are. The story of the creation of the universe runs parallel to the way in which night gives way to day, telling of how both the night (Te Pō) and the dawn (Te Ao Mārama) are born of utter darkness (Te Kore). (Gibbons,2022, p.4) Most cultures and religions have beliefs or stories they share about how the world was created. In Aotearoa / New Zealand the creation story is a foundational kōrero that is  passed  down  through  the  oral  storytelling  of  our ancestors. There are many variations of this creation story that exist between different iwi and regions, but most share the common themes of darkness giving way to light as the earth and the sky are separated for nature and life as we know it to evolve.’
Really interested in this personally - those shared nuggets of truth between cultures and religions, a picture of one universal story we carry within us, a truth we are searching for

Pattern
Tumblr media Tumblr media
At the root of all of Witehira's designs lies pattern. This fundamental aspect of his work dictates much of the outcome of his style. I replicated some of these using different shapes and colours studying the kowhaiwhai patterns.
Kowhaiwhai patterns are usually displayed upon ridgepoles and illustrate the whakapapa of the iwi. Nature is often the inspiration for these beautiful and stunning patterns which are often found on the rafters of the meeting houses.
The tiki  represents power, knowlegde, wisdom, prosperity and many other strong attributes that are aspired to have. The hei-tiki represents Hine-te-iwaiwa, a celebrated ancestress associated with fertility and the virtuous qualities of Māori womanhood.
Koru represents growth and new beginnings.

Hei tiki - rather than a heart? This is a western symbol
The hei tiki, a neck ornament, is the most well-known piece of Māori jewellery. It has been suggested that the tiki is in the form of the first man, named Tiki. However, some doubt this, as hei tiki are either female, or sexless.
The hei tiki looks like a distorted human figure sitting cross-legged, its large head tilted to one side. Hei tiki were usually worn by women, except in very rare cases. There are instances where previously infertile women have given birth after being gifted a hei tiki.
Basil Keane, 'Pounamu – jade or greenstone - Implements and adornment', Te Ara - the Encyclopedia of New Zealand, http://www.TeAra.govt.nz/en/pounamu-jade-or-greenstone/page-4 (accessed 14 May 2022)
Story by Basil Keane, published 12 Jun 2006
Why do women normally wear a hei tiki?
The History
‘He is the chief son of Rangi and Papa (the Sky Father and the Earth Mother). The belief is some tiki serve as dwelling places for ancestral spirits, while others are vessels for gods and supernatural beings.
According to Te Papa, New Zealand’s national museum, the origin of the hei tiki pendant is obscure. One theory is that the hei tiki represents Hine-te-iwaiwa, a celebrated ancestress associated with fertility and the virtuous qualities of Māori womanhood. In marriage the family of the husband often gave a hei tiki to the bride to help her conceive. In some Māori tribes, the hei tiki was buried when their guardian (the wearer) died and would later be retrieved and brought out in times of mourning. It would then be handed to the next generation to be worn. This is how the mana (importance) of the Māori hei tiki continued to increase.’

“You got a cute butt.” MoniIwa
It’s not a phrase he’d been expecting to hear but, honestly, he isn’t surprised to hear it.  This is a gym where a good ninety-three percent of the members are on some part of the spectrum that is distinctly not heterosexual and even the seven percent who are appreciate a good compliment every now and again regardless of who it comes from.  It isn’t even the fact that it was directed at him that surprises him.  Over the last year he has been a member here he has gotten more than his fair share of compliments and flirtatious comments and phone numbers and dates.  In fact he, Tsukishima, and Sawamura are tied for number of times asked out and he’s barely behind Sugawara in number of phone numbers given.
No the part that shocks him when he stands up and turns around is who is talking to him.
Moniwa has been a member of the gym practically since the day Sawamura took over the place from his old neighbor, Ukai, and as far as Hajime knew - and he knew a lot, Sawamura and Tsukishima were horrible gossips and they had sucked Hajime into their little circle less than a week after he joined the gym - Moniwa had never shown even the slightest bit of interest in anyone.  Ever.
“Care to run that by me again?”
“I said that you’ve got a cute butt.”  Moniwa isn’t blushing nervously, though there is a slight tinge to his cheeks that could be from the words or it could be from the fifteen minutes of warm up stretches he had just finished.  Not that Hajime had been watching or anything.  He may have been staring into a void of nothingness while doing his own stretches that might have been in the same vicinity as Moniwa, at least until Hajime turned around and started stretching out his hamstrings.
“Thank you?”  Hajime doesn’t mean for it to come out as a question but he is thrown off.  He’s not uncomfortable, not in the least, he’s just confused as to the attention Moniwa has been paying to him.  And his butt apparently.
“Just thought I should let you know.”  Moniwa nods to himself a few times and shifts his weight a little like he’s trying to figure out what to say next and it occurs to Hajime that this is sadly the longest conversation he can remember actually having with Moniwa.  Usually Moniwa stays at the edges of conversations and only speaks when he’s coaxed into it by Sawamura or Nametsu.  Moniwa nods again and his eyes dart away from Hajime, whatever confidence he had to approach apparently gone now, and he excuses himself and heads over to the treadmills on the other side of the gym.  Hajime watches him for a moment and then follows, curiosity getting the best of him.
“And that,” Ennoshita says with a grin as he props his elbow on Tsukishima’s stack of paperwork, “is how you ruin a life.  Congratulations.”

Spencer!! I hope you slept well! Just wanted to say that I’m so glad your partner is open to talking about other partners! It makes me happy that that polyamory is an open option and that your partner respects your preferences !! (We love to see a healthy communicative relationship)
I’m trying to pace myself so I don’t read all of your poly fics at once lmao but question!! Who would you be in a poly relationship with from HQ?? (And/or MHA if you’ve thought about it) and have your wrote about it??😗😗
yeah knock on wood but my partner and i have never had an actual fight? we always talk about things before they ever get past like,,,mild aggravation or we just let it slide bc it’s not really worth getting worked up over.
anyway, the pairing probably most fitting my personality would be iwa/akaashi. tho moniwa and kuroo would probably fit with me as well. ideally and being exceptionally greedy, id say all four LMAO. there’s probably a reason they’re my top favs.

We know Lady Megbeth announced her pregnancy on 15 October 2018.
October 15 is the National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. It is a day of remembrance for pregnancy loss and infant death which includes, but is not limited to, miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS or the death of a newborn.
Then the D & DOS went on their Oceania tour. While there, Lady Megbeth wore this necklace:
This necklace is sold on Meghan’s Mirror:

This type of jewelry is called a Hei-tiki. Wikipedia article states:
The hei-tiki is an ornamental pendant of the Māori of New Zealand. Hei-tiki are usually made of pounamu (greenstone), and are considered a taonga (treasure) by Māori. They are commonly called tiki by New Zealanders, a term that actually refers to large human figures carved in wood, and, also, to the small wooden carvings used to mark sacred places. (The word hei in Māori can mean to wear around the neck).
This is another reference source of the description of this Hei-Tiki:
The heitiki is a small, carved ornament, usually of greenstone, worn suspended from the neck. It is often incorrectly referred to as tiki. Tikis are, properly, the much larger human figures carved in wood guarding the entrance to a Maori pa and, also, the smaller wooden carvings used to mark a tapu place. The heitiki’s origins are obscure. Best says that the first was made for Hina-te-iwaiwa, the Maori Moon Goddess and patroness of women. It is regarded as sacred, and the most widely held theory claims that it represents the human embryo, especially those of still-born children. These are considered to be particularly powerful spirits, owing to their having been cheated of life. Another version suggests that the heitiki is connected with Tiki, the Maori god who was responsible for the creation of life or who was the first life itself. In both explanations the heitiki is clearly a fertility symbol. There is also a third theory, which suggests that it was worn merely for personal adornment.

Coincidence? I think not…
I believe she was presented that necklace as a gif....she shouldn’t be selling it...as usual.😁❤️❤️❤️❤️

When trying to sketch the detail of the whāriki (sleeping platform) the bone like sketch reminded me of how our whare are usually dedicated to an Atua or Tūpuna (Deity or Ancestory) so I decided to create a visual series with the, Aute, the sleeping platforms, and the privacy panels, to create an effigy for Hine Te Iwaiwa the goddess of weaving, motherhood and the moon. By creating a practice around capturing femininity, working with wearing parts of the wharepuni, and creating a space for ancestral connection, the house was able to be taken apart, blessed with new Mauri and put back together with greater intention and meaning.
