A drawing from Suzanne and her gang singing on Karaoke Bar. If you didn't the context - it was based to a short story, written by mysef at @blackoctober-blog last year. And this scene, after Suzanne leaving a toxic dating with Alex, she felt single and lonely and I created, after hearing ''Gimme, Gimme, Gimme'' by ABBA.

So, Jill and Rose took their friend to a local bar to have fun together. And while Rose was taking some pictures, Suzanne and Jill were singing ABBA's song. (What about James on corner? He went to have fun to his football team too when he found the girls singing - and of course, he was admired Suzanne's beauty.)

The Murder of Tiana Notice

Tiana Angelique Notice was a 25-year-old master's student at the University of Hartford, Connecticut. She loved music, singing, and writing poetry and was considering a career in politics or law.

On 14th February 2009, Tiana went home to pack a bag when she was brutally attacked and sustained twenty stab wounds including two to her chest. Despite bleeding profusely, Tiana managed to call 911 and was rushed to the hospital, unfortunately, her injuries were too severe and she died later that day.

Tiana met James Carter II on an internet dating site in 2008, initially, they had gotten on well but Tiana had later learned that James had been previously convicted of domestic abuse against a former girlfriend. About a year into their relationship, Tiana decided to break up with Carter and got a restraining order against him. Carter continued to harass Tiana, sending her threatening emails stating she would be punished and lose everything, he constantly called and texted her and waited outside her apartment. Tiana went to the police 33 times in six weeks but they did not take her claims seriously.

Witnesses on the day of the murder saw Carter’s car leaving the scene and during Tiana’s 911 call she had stated her ex-boyfriend had stabbed her. Tiana’s blood was also on Carter’s shirt and he confessed to his brother that he had committed the murder.

In court it emerged Carter had previous convictions for assault in 2002 and 2006, he had also broken his parole and violated his restraining order. Carter was convicted of murder in November 2011 and sentenced to serve 60 years, he remains in prison and will not be eligible for release until 2069. In 2014, a jury awarded $ 10 million to Tiana’s family after finding two police officers were negligent when it came to handling Tiana’s reports about Carter before her death.
