Andrés’ Journal
We’re doing pretty good for ourselves, our little ring, what with extorting some of Landgraab’s middle men and associates, planning heists, and I’ve even gotten my hands dirty myself. Just recently I got into a scuffle with a gangster named Marco Russo who crossed our territory. I suspect him of being a double agent sent by Malcolm Landgraab. Things escalated quickly and I got roughed up pretty badly. We had to make a quick exit before the police arrived on the scene.
That night when I came home looking disheveled, Consuelo acted very concerned for my well-being (she hadn’t seen me looking this bad, I guess). “Christ alive, Andrés, are you okay?”
“You should’ve seen the other guy,” I joked, knowing he’d kicked my ass and handed it to me, but Russo wouldn’t see the last of me that easily. It’s a messy life but the adventure and excitement fulfills my needs.
