Be a woman in Jackie Chan Adventures, you're either:

Super cool character who's only in one episode and never talked about again (Amber, Vanessa Barone, even though she made a cameo in another episode but she wasn't as prominent so I don't count it, Portia Martindale, Miss Kimber, Sumo Girl etc etc.)

Prominent for a few episodes then slowly gets pushed more and more to the background and loses all character and purpose (Viper, Miss Hartman).

Get dumbed down to being nothing but a love interest to one of the main characters (once again Viper).

Can't be a grown woman (as much as I love Jade, Viper needed more focus and storyline).

Sexist stereotype (Tohru's mother).

Can't be a Dark Hand enforcer (I still have no idea why they never employed one, Viper needs someone to beef with like come on)

Butt of every fat joke (Po Kong)

Women were constantly getting robbed in that show, either they were overshadowed by the men, not focused on enough or just there for background noise.

I know this technically isn't a "girl's" show but come on, the show treated women like they were such an alien concept, I want more women outside of just Jade and Viper.

Like doesn't Viper have any female friends outside of the J-Team, who are they? What are they like? Do they know about her work?

Jackie had a female friends named Amber, she was only in one episode but she was still very interesting to me with the little time she had onscreen.

Like I want to know more about her, what is her and Jackie's relationship, how did they meet, what does she do outside of work?

I would've liked to see her pair up with the J-Team in an episode but nah f**king around with El Toro and El Toro's #1 d**krider is obviously more important.

Seriously, as much as they tried to make El Toro interesting him and Paco just came off as annoying and unnecessary.

The fact that both of them have more episodes than Viper put together is evident of blatant favoritism in the writing room.

Why didn't they ever give the Dark Hand a female enforcer? Was Valmont sexist or something?

If Shendu had a son then who's the mother? What happened to her? Where is she? And do the other demons have offspring too?

Why were there no female Oni generals?

What would a female Dark Chi warrior look like?

Give me something dammit.

dark hand headcanons while I'm thinking about them

Chow is second generation american, he was born in California and has lived in San Francisco his entire life

Chow watched Grease or a movie similar once when he was a little kid, loved the male lead and decided to model his entire life off of him

Ratso is first generation american, he was born in Italy but moved here when he was young

He still remembers his old house and the family tries to go back to Italy at least once a year to visit family. He has many cousins

Valmont is also first generation american, but his family never went back to england after they moved, even to visit

Ratso's really good at math

Finn did roller derby when he first turned eighteen. He was good and his team won a number of rallies, but he quit after only a short time

What do you think the enforcers favorite holidays are?

I am convinced Ratso loves Valentines Day. He enjoys seeing all the couples and the romantic gestures on that day, even if he isn't in a relationship. Plus the day after... cheap candy XD [He would share with the others and his nephew]

Chow likes New years. When he was younger, he liked it for the parties and drinking and mad scramble for a kiss. Now, he likes the promise of new beginnings, an opportunity for changes and fresh starts. Sometimes the changes stick, sometimes they don't. The chance is still there.

Finn, strangely enough, looks forward to Fourth of July. He will say it's for the 'babes in bikinis' but it's more then that. He loves the summer weather, the get togethers and food. And the flashy end of the night fireworks. That's his favorite part; laying back with a drink and watching the explosions in the sky.

For all three Christmas is their second favorite. Not just for the presents, but getting to be with those they care about. That includes each other. [Also I still feel robbed that we never got to see the Enforcers during the Christmas episode!]

Posting this on here separately.

Considering the fact that Hak became such a popular meme in China due to a mistranslation of his infamous catchphrase, I think it's safe to say that I'm right.

But if I'm going to be honest, that goes for literally everyone else in the show, the villains, the one offs, etc.

Like let's be honest, who tf kept watching just for Jackie by himself?

(I know due to him being such a popular celeb at the time that people were attracted to it do to him being attached to it, but that definitely don't check out now.)

But characters like Uncle, Jade (she deserved her own spinoff), Tohru, Viper and the Dark Hand were definitely why people kept watching.

This is why it's very important to have a strong supporting cast.

But back to what I'm saying, ain't nobody give a s**t about the show because of Jackie, especially now.

While rewatching Jackie Chan's Adventures, I came to the logical (for a crossover) conclusion that Sector 13 is most likely a division of the SCP Foundation tasked with investigating low-stakes cases of the supernatural.

This also gave me the horrid, post-series idea/au where the Dark Hand Enforcers are demoted to D-Class personel as part of their parole upon attempting to "join the good guys".

Finn, already in the iconic SCP orange jumpsuit: "Hey! Whats the big deal?!"

Captain Black: "You three alone performed multiple terroist acts, wide scale robbery and destruction, and have actively aided in the near-destruction of human civilisation."

Ratso: "In our defence; a bunch of dragons and a wizard told us to do it."

Captain Black: "Sorry fellas. The O5 Council consider omnicidal cronyism worth about a couple of years of parole. You'll be reporting to Dr Bright from here on out."

Cue the Enforcer trio trying their best to survive the deadly world of the SCP Foundation. And maybe retaining abilities from their contact with the 12 Talismans.

Hak Foo has parole as a foundation custodian - which annoys the trio as he gets more perks and doesnt have to clean out SCP-173's cell.

Valmont appears ofc, as another D-Class. Forced to interact with his former henchmen as equals whilst also trying to keep Shendu out of his head.
