Part 5/6 of my Marauders Era headcanons, and it’s about Remus Lupin.

The Marauders’s Journey - Remus

Full name: Remus John Lupin

DOB: 10.03.1960

Born in: Yorkshire

Parents: Hope Lupin (née Howell) & Lyall Lupin

House: Gryffindor

In Hogwarts: 1971-1978

-was bitten by Fenrir Greyback in February 1965

-dreads his transformation every month

-is grateful to his parents for their support

-grows up lonely, as he is afraid to get close to anyone (because he doesn’t wanna hurt anyone nor have anyone find out his secret)

-is afraid of stigmatisation

-never dreamed of attending Hogwarts, so when APWBD appears to tell him he can go, he becomes forever grateful

-initially sits alone in his carriage, but is soon joined by Peter Pettigrew

-they get along well, but R is still wary of letting anyone get too close

-meets J&S later that day in their dormitory

-he likes them well enough and supports them academically

-both he and P are happy to be included in a friend group, so they don’t stop any pranks/bullying (P because he mostly enjoys it, R because he doesn’t want to lose his first and only friends)

-he is friendly to all students, but never lets anyone get too close

-is initially horrified when JSP find out about 🐺, but is even happier when they accept him

-does not approve of bullying Sev, but doesn’t say anything as he doesn’t want to lose his friends

-is beyond amazed when JSP become animagi

-they have a lot of adventures together both during the full moon and on other days

-starts thinking about his post-school future from year 5 onwards

-WWI February 1976 - R is horrified that he nearly murdered/mauled a classmate (HIS BIGGEST FEAR) and that his supposed friend just told his secret like that

-he doesn’t realise it at the time, but he never fully trusts S again after that

-he has a brief argument with S about it, but drops it because A) he doesn’t wanna lose his friends and B) he is scared S might tell again (with whatever intention)

-this is why he lets SWM happen

-he and P are the first M to befriend Lily, especially since R&L are Prefects

-he is happy for J when Jily starts

-he initially stays with his parents after graduation, but is supported financially by J

-joins the OOTP and is often sent on long missions A) because of his skills and B) to hide 🐺 better

-is one of J's groomsmen with P

-is aware that people suspect him of being a traitor

-is initially scared to hold baby Harry, but grows to love him a lot

-the last time he sees Jily is around his birthday in 1981

-he is sent on a two week Order mission in early/mid October 1981

-he is devastated when he finds out about Jily death

-cannot believe S is the traitor at first, but since no one told him about the Switch and he remembers S revealing his deepest secret (🐺), he comes to accept that S is the traitor

-moves out of his parents's house a few years later

This is going to be something very sad. I had an idea about what life would be like if James wasn't in the house at Godric's hollow on the night Voldemort tried to kill baby Harry. Canon-ish

Mr March

Jily. Lily is getting distracted by the fireman calendar at her work, especially Mr March. Maybe one day she will need to be rescued. Muggle AU

JSP

Next Gen. This is about James Sirius Potter. When his life is in danger, The head of the Auror department who is also his dad, assigns him an Auror to keep him safe. canon compliant.

Sins of the Fathers

Canon story about Teddy when he starts at school. Also has a large chunk of Harry and Ginny. Follows my canon of post wizarding wars collection.

Grounded

Jily. James Potter is a quidditch star until a bad concussion ends his career. He ends up coaching a ice hockey team and becomes friends with a Canadian ice skater. AU with magic.

Singles club

Jily. Lily, Marlene, Remus, Sirius, and James make a pact to remain just friends and not complicate their lives. We shall see how long that lasts.

How Real is Love?

Lily is a reporter who is cynical about love at first sight. She starts interviewing couples about how they met.

They will be holding hands.

The male equivalent of the father daughter dance at a wedding is a mother son dance...

So at James and Lily's wedding, Lily did her father daughter with her father but by the time James got married, his mother had passed already.

James didn't skip on the dance, instead, asked McGonagall to do it with him instead.

Eeek okay, this might take me a minute. This was actually fun and possibly will help me with my summaries when I eventually post these. The titles of these are also WIPs

JSP - This is it’s wip title right now as I don’t have anything else to call it yet. This is about James Sirius Potter as a young adult, and how he copes (or doesn’t cope) when the bodyguard that is assigned to him when his life is threatened doesn’t take any of his nonsense.

Paper thin hearts - This is fem!jily and in a small part is continuing from my midnight marauders story.

Grounded - James Potter is a quidditch star until a bad concussion ends his career. He ends up coaching a team that gets to the Winter Olympics where he becomes friends with a Canadian ice skater.

Singles club - Lily, James, Remus, Marlene and Sirius make a pact to all remain just friends and not complicate their life.

A serious conversation - This follows the story on from Reunion and Come away with me. James talks to the only happy couple he knows about what is happening in his life.

Don’t preach - Lily stars a new job and makes some very good friends very quickly.

Belle - This is an original story. Lizzie has just left her university friends for a new job in a new city. She never thought she would ever find anybody attractive until she meets her new flatmate Anna.
