Warnings: cursing, shower sex, unprotected sex
Pairings: Jughead Jones x Female Reader
Summary: you and Jughead basically have shower sex lmao.
Word Count: 500+
© Maybanks-Luver, please do not steal or translate my work
Jughead pinned you against the shower wall as the two of you made out. The warm water ran against your bodies as the two of you passionately made out. He then broke the kiss and began to kiss along your jaw.
He then trailed wet kisses from your jaw to your neck. You whimpered and tangled your fingers in his wet hair as he kissed your neck. He then found your sweet spot and began to suck on it. You could feel your arousal pooling between your thighs.
He pulled back and smirked when he saw the hickies he had left all over the soft skin of your neck.
"Mm.. now everyone will know that you're mine." He said with a smirk. You giggled softly and kissed him again. He aligned his hard cock with your pussy before thrusting into your soaking cunt. You gasped and you both moaned out as he sunk inside of you.
"Fuck, I love this pussy." He panted as he fucked up into you. You held onto his shoulders tightly and moaned out as he slowly fucked you faster and faster until he was fucking you at an unforgiving pace.
He was fucking you so hard that you definitely going to feel it every time you walk for the next week. You rested the back of your head against the wet shower wall and moaned out as he kept fucking you.
"Oh god!" You moaned out as he began to hit your g-spot. He smirked when he saw your reaction and kept hitting your g-spot over and over again. With the way he was fucking you, you knew that you weren't going to last very long.
It seemed like he was not going to last very long either though. You were close and you could tell that he was getting close too. You pulled him in for a heated kiss as he continued to fuck the shit out of you.
You felt that familiar knot building up inside of you and you knew that you were about to cum any second now. You clenched around his hard dick, signaling to him that you were about to cum. You could tell that he was going to cum too since his thrusts were getting messy.
"Fuck! I'm gonna cum!" You screamed.
"Come on, cum for me." He panted. With that your eyes rolled back, your legs began to tremble and you saw stars as a scream tore through your throat and you squirted on his cock. He thrusted into you a few more times before coming himself, shooting his load deep inside of your, painting your walls white. He pulled out of you as you both were catching your breath.
"Well, should we clean up now?" Jug asked. You shook your head which made him tilt his head. "Why not?" He asked.
"Because, I want a round 2." You said with a giggle. He just smirked.
"Well baby, your wish is my command." He said with a smirk.
a/n: I hope y'all like this story!

Unfinished 13: Riverdale
Summary: Jughead/Sweet Pea/Reader Your mom lives with you on the southside, as far into the forest as you can get. You train/work with the Ghoulies as a runner, you don’t realize this until she decides to move, you return to your childhood home, next door to the Andrews, shocked to find your dad and older brother living there still, you have to hide your connection to the Ghoulies; Jughead agrees to help; but Sweet Pea takes it the wrong way
You keep your mouth shut as your mother packs. You’re watching her, sitting on the couch, silent and half noticed as always. She glares at you, nodding as you stand shuffling over to her.
“You’ll have to go up to the Northside; couple of things left in old house, think you can grab them? The people who live there aren’t home Thursday’s so get going.” She doesn’t look at you before nodding.
You sigh pulling on your running shoes and a hoodie before throwing the hood over your face.
“What do I need?” You mom hands a crumbled piece of paper to you. You tuck the list into your pocket and start towards your old house. You’d grown up in it, with your brother and father, when they had moved out your mother and you were forced to move to the Southside. Still the neighborhood feels both like home and a stranger’s land as you walk the streets.
You watch the house for a moment, noticing the neighbors haven’t changed. You smile fondly at the faint memories, you were five, Archie Andrews and Betty Cooper had been spending the summer at your house, the inflatable pool your brother had convinced your parents to buy had been the highlight of that summer. Before your mother and you had moved as far on the Southside as possible; after your father had taken your brother and fled to some other state. Your mother told you how he was seeing another woman, how she had convinced him to move away, without you.
You step from the shadows, freezing as you hear a voice.
“Y/N? Is that you?” You turn jerking as Mr. Andrews stands in his driveway, he waves you over.
“H-hey Mr. Andrews, you wouldn’t happen to have a spare key for my old house yeah? My mom and I are moving and we needed to grab some things before we leave.” You smile hopeful, holding your hand out. He nods turning to his house and jogging up the steps, he opens the door pulling a key off the hooks he has in the entrance way.
“Here ya’ go. I didn’t know you and your mom were in town.” You furrow your brow.
“Yeah? We live on the Southside, since my dad and brother left.” He frowns, turning as a car pulls into the driveway of your old house; you duck your head shuffling over.
“I’ll just ask if they-“ You freeze again, your father stepping out of his truck, your brother from the passenger side, it’s been years, but you’d know him anywhere, you step back looking nervously to Mr. Andrews.
“My mom said-“ You quiet turning from Mr. Andrews, you re-take a step forward the key cutting into your palm.
“James?” Your voice is quiet, as you step forward again, your brother doesn’t turn, closing the door and walking towards the house.
“Hey!” You duck slightly when Mr. Andrews shouts over, both James and your father turning towards him, eyes trained on you.
“Hey uh, I used to live here and-“ You don’t finish, James pulling you into a hug.
“Y/N, you’re back in town!?!” Your father rushes over at James’ shout. You hesitate as he pulls you into a hug, after James releases you.
“Hey sweetheart, what’re you doing back? You and your mom need something?” You frown at him.
“You still live here?” Both he and James nod looking worried.
“Mom said you moved and left with some other woman, we’ve been living on the Southside since you, uh we I guess, since we moved.” He nods, gesturing towards the door of the front of the house. You step over the threshold with them, your father’s arm not leaving your shoulders.
He offers you a glass of water; you sip at it sitting on the couch as your father paces in front of the coffee table. James sits next to you eyes tracing your father as he continues walking.
“Dad?”
“I’m fine, just, where is your mother planning on going?” He stills sitting in the chair across from the couch. You shrug.
“She didn’t tell me just that, crap. I have to be back in like ten minutes, she’ll leave without me. I should-“ You stand turning back to look at them frozen in the chairs.
“I mean I can’t stay here can I?” Your father pulls you into a hug, spinning you slightly so he now rests in between the door and you.
“Your room is still the same as when you left; so maybe some redecorating?” You shrug.
“I haven’t changed much, not really a need to redecorate.” You follow your father and brother up to your room.
“What about mom?” Your father nods, pulling his phone out and stepping back into the hall as your brother opens the door to your room. You half pay attention to the conversation, waiting for them to finish.
“So we’ll have to enroll you at Riverdale which shouldn’t be too hard to get you settled.” You nod hands unclenching from your palms. You smile at them.
“Your mom’s dropping your things off.” You nod sitting on the front steps as she pulls up, shoving a box towards you.
“There. You good?” You nod and she doesn’t respond, not even turning around as she restarts the car and drives off.
“What do you want to do? You have to do something, since James plays football so it’ll make sense for you to get up and go to school with him for practice. You should pick something to-“
“Track.”
“Track?” James quirks an eyebrow at you.
“I wanna run.” You nod to him and he shrugs.
“Alright. We’ll do track, you ready to get up at five am tomorrow?” You nod smiling as he shoves you from the steps, picking up the box and smiling.
“This all you got Y/N?” You nod and he sets the box on the bed. You can tell something upsets him but he seems to let it go for now.
“We’ll probably get pizza later if you want?”
“Cheese.” You nod hovering over the box your mother had left. You wait until he steps from the room. You pull the lid fully off glaring at the three pairs of jeans and shirts your mother left, under that rests two journals, and a folded backpack. You don’t need to open the bag to know your mother put cash in it.
“Y/N! Pizza sweetheart!” You nod walking down the stairs and standing in the kitchen, plates stacked and your father and brother leaning against the counter. You pull a slice over and eat half before your father sets his plate down.
“Y/N, you need any clothes? Other things?” You nod.
“I can get them this weekend, there’s a store nearby, yeah?” Your father nods, pulling another slice over.
Your brother lets you sleep in till half five, you know this because you wake at two am, silently crying, more nightmares. You shake your head from them, and stretch against your floor. You return back to bed, lying awake until you hear your brother’s alarm going off. You pretend to wake, shuffling to the bathroom and letting him curse as you silently move from the bathroom to his room, waiting for him.
You pull your hoodie’s hood up, curling behind your brother as he walks up.
“Don’t worry Y/N. I’ll protect you, you’ll love my friends. They’re all really welcoming. Well besides Cheryl.”
“There are Snakes.” You comment as he directs you towards one of the student lounges.
“Yeah the serpents are here for now. Don’t worry they’re friendly.” You nod sitting down as your brother gestures to the couch. You notice a redhead boy watching you; he extends his hand a smile on his face.
“Hey I’m Archie, Archie Andrews. Pleasure to meet you.” You nod extending your hand and smiling back.
“Y/N, James’ sister.” He nods, you watch as your brother nods at the group at have walked through the door, making a beeline for Archie and all smiling.
“Hey, you must be Y/N! I’m Betty Cooper. This is Jughead Jones, and Kevin Keller.” You watch a dark haired girl walk up.
“I’m Veronica. Veronica Lodge.” You watch a group of boys walk in, dark jackets standing out for the fact they match. You watch them hover, until Jughead tilts his head slightly. They move forward as one.
“Who’s the new face?” One of them asks eyebrows furrowing.
“James’ sister. Y/N.” You nod towards them keeping your face down. You know they’re not the enemy, not since the Ghoulies scattered, but you can help but pray none of them recognize you from your home near the trailer park.
“Where you been then? We transferred here a while ago didn’t see you here.” You look to Sweet Pea, as you’ve learned his name.
“Lived on the southside.”
“How come we never seen you at Southside?” You let Fangs circle you, smirk on his face.
“I was home schooled.” You counter and he arches an eyebrow.
“Your mother a teacher then?” You shake your head.
“Learned a bit differently from you.”
The man keeps his chokehold around your neck as he walks you through the bar. He tosses you to the ground, before you can respond with more than a snarl, another man has pulled you up and is tying you to a chair.
“Small, mousey, skittish. That’s how I’d describe you, certainly not Serpent material, Ghoulie’s must’ve been desperate to use you.” One of the older Serpent’s chime in. You wait trying to even your breathing, you know the Ghoulie’s won’t come for you, they know enough to leave you for dead. You’re a Northdsider now, beyond how far they care to test their reach.
“What do you think happens to mice then?” One of the men questions the other.
“They get eaten by snakes.” One of the serpents laugh, you don’t flinch turning to watch him. Despite being tied to a chair, despite your lip bleeding and the cut and swollen bruising around your eye, you know they can’t do anything until whoever their boss is gets in.
You watch a man walking down, his serpent jacket well worn, the flannel he has on under it dulled by age as well. You see another figure walking next to him, younger, even his clothes reflect this, brighter, less worn.
“The fuck you doing to that girl.”
“Nothing yet, caught her sneakin’ around, she’s a ghoulie apparently. That’s what the other one we caught said.” The older man looks you up and down.
“She doesn’t look like she could fight hot dog, let alone a serpent.” The group laugh and you agree he must be the leader.
“What about the other one you got? Where’s he?”
“Basement. For safe keeping.”
“Jugs what you wanna do with her?” You don’t make a sound, you don’t give away you recognize him from school.
“Does James know?”
You shake your head, and he nods.
“Untie her. Let her go. She got caught in the wrong crowd.”
“Jugs, she’s a Ghoulie…”
“You just said she wasn’t a threat, what’s the point in keeping her then.” The rest of the serpents nod one of them untying you, you flex your wrists, rolling your shoulders. You lick your lips turning at staring at each of the serpents.
“What are you doing?”
“Memorizing your faces.” You smirk, before you feel a hand on your shoulder. You duck your head cringing.
“Come on Y/N not here.” You snarl, you pull your head back as Jughead looks at you.
“Come on, lets get you home yeah?” You shake your head.

Boyfriend
Sweet Pea and Y/N have been seeing each other in secret for some time but as a new serpent enters the playing field, tempers flare but is it all what if seems?
-----------------------------------------------------
SP POV
"So when are you guys gonna stop pretending it's just sex and actually just sign the marriage licence, it's been like 7 months which is basically decades in the Serpents"
The water I gulped down nearly took deathly grip at Tonis comment.
"N-o no no" I managed to choke out between rapid taps to the back from Fangs.
"Toni please don't kill the man, I'm sure YN wouldn't like if you bumped off her play thing" Fangs quipped while watching the colour return back to my face.
"I'm not her play thing, if anything she's mine"
"And who exactly could you be talking about like that" of course she's going to join the conversation at the most inconvenient time. I wish the water had just finished me off.
"Y/N, we were just messing with him"
"Ah yes Toni because I love when my sex life is the topic of conversation amongst my friends, although I suppose you've nothing going on in your own lives" she dropped your tray next to me before sliding in across.
"And how is Cheryl?" you added, Toni sunk down on the seat with a groan.
"And Kevin?" sending Fangs sliding too, leaving me grinning into my soup. I caught her hand beneath the table as the other two tried to take back hold of their pride. We shouldn't have even been talking about this so openly in school, I'm really not trying to put a target on my back.
"If you do marry eachother I'll officiate"
"That's very nice Fangs but don't you need to be able to read to do that?" Fangs caught his chest in feign hurt at Y/Ns joking tone. We shouldn't be talking about this, they know I'd never be allowed to marry her, I can't even openly date her.
As if on que, Y/N dropped my hand quickly to place both in front of her tray, her eyes following the newest recruit to the Serpents. Jughead Jones. Now there's the only person her father would let her marry, another serpent legacy.
"Hey guys"
"Hey Jughead!" She responded very much too excited to him in my opinion.
"Y/N, I'm heading to Pop' wanna come? I know you really want to try it" how could he know what she wants? I'm what she wants. Right?
"Sure, see you later guys" y/n smiled and I could feel my other best friends shuffle awkwardly in their seats as y/n then strutted off with her future husband.
"SP-"
"Don't" I silenced Toni's saddening tone with a raised hand, I don't need their pitty.
~ 3rd Person
Over the next few weeks you spent more and more time around Jughead. Your father approved massively of this budding relationship, not going unnoticed by Sweet Pea or the rest of your friends. You and Jughead would go on jobs together, meet up before and after meetings together and just in general be together. It was becoming more and more difficult for Sweet Pea to be around and he began to retreat into himself.
~
5 weeks later - 3rd Person
Sweet Pea sprawled out across the tattered sofa of his very own trailer. Trying to take his mind of you and Jughead, he flicked through tv channels, then the books in his reach before finally landing on reading his history book absentmindedly. His eyes eventually weighing more than the book and closing. Dreams of you in eggshell coloured dresses waltzing up a flower covered aisle to meet a groom with a blurry face but a very prominent crown beanie splashed across his mind. The image jolted him from his sleep, crashing him to the floor.
Sweet pea rubbed his face with the blanket thrown across him, trying to remove the image from his thoughts. The soft glow from his ajar bedroom door across the darkened living room caught his eye. His hands ran down the blanket that was not there when he drifted off. Your hushed voice eventually met his ears from the bedroom, his senses waking one by one. He misses you breaking into his trailer nightly, the last time having been a few weeks ago.
Sweet Peas Pov
Collecting myself from the floor I snuck over to the door where I could accidentally on purpose hear her speak more clearly on the phone.
"Yeah there's just no future there - yeah - I really like being around him but what's the point when I don't want to continue - yeah yeah - I don't want any more feelings to grow - mmm - I just have to be with him to get where I need to go - yeah you're right- talk later love you Sis - bye - bye - bye" oh god it's happening, the end, she's ending it with me. I don't care if she's using me, just as long as she's with me. Right?
I heard her jump up from mattress. Crap crap crap. I went to scramble back to the sofa, sliding along the laminate in the blanket she had wrapped on me, flying straight back onto the floor. Ugh god my head. As I blinked her shape standing over me came into focus, I gave a small nervous laugh.
"Sweets, are you having fun down there?" She laughed offering a hand and instantly regretting it as I pulled her down on top of me.
"Now I am" I rolled her into the blanket and deep into my chest, squeezing as if letting go would mean she's gone forever. The closest we'd been in awhile.
"Sweet - Pea - You're - Crushing - Me" she attempted through my chest and began go gently push from me. It's already happening. She rolled her head up and gently kissed my cheek and I released my grip.
"Why are you on the floor"
"Why are you in my house?"
"Touché" she smiled before sitting up to retrieve her buzzing phone from her pocket.
"Who's are you giggling at?" I hate myself for asking but seeing her smile at her phone the way she smiles at me gave me reason.
"It's just something Jughead said -" ugh god why why why "- and I don't giggle" she gently hit me into my chest as I rolled from her and then up off the floor. I crossed the room towards the fridge where I rooted around.
"He was telling me about the book he's writing over lunch today, he's really got something for making up elaborate plans, we actually decided to -"
"We?" I almost growled at her as I pulled a beer from the fridge and turned to her disapproving stares. I know she doesn't like when I drink on week days, we were brought up in bar culture and she hates bringing it home with her. I'm not even sure she'd call me home anymore.
"Sweet pea don't get like that over Jughead, you like him I thought" she moved towards me in the kitchen, the blanket drapped over her still. I leaned on the fridge across from her and watched her prop herself up onto the countertop, her phone now next to her.
"Y/N, he rocks up into our school, parades around, Mr. Prince of the Serpents, takes you from me all the time so we can never have any alone time together and then -"
"Ah so that's what this is about, you miss the sex" she seemed to toy but I definitely wasn't in the mood to joke.
"No! Well yeah but that's not all I miss, this is the most we've talked in over a month and it's still about him!"
"Sweet Pea don't get angry at me!" She slid from the blanket and the counter. Too late, I was very much very angry which was only increased when her phone lit up, with the one word I'd never heard her use before, boyfriend.
"What the fuck?!" I lunged for it, almost forgetting my height, giving y/n a bit of a fright, something I had never done. Seems to be a day of firsts for everyone. Boyfriend?! Boyfriend?! She tried to reach for the ringing phone, this time I didn't forget my height, answering the phone and hoping I didn't hear the person I knew was on the other head.
"Hey y/n/n, I'll meet you at the usual spo-" I cut Jones off before he could finish, hurling the phone at the cabinets. This time I gave y/n a very noticeable fright as the phone screen came seperate from the motherboard.
"Sweet Pea!! Calm down! You're acting like a raving lunatic, let me explain!" She shouted back, more firsts from her, she had never raised her voice at me before but I suppose I started it. No she did. Jones did. I'm gonna kill him.
"Explain what?! What's there to explain Y/N/N" I used the name he called her like the curse word it was to me.
"Me and you have been seeing each other for like almost 9 months and that has meant something to me, clearly not so much to you" okay Sweet Pea that was probably a bit harsh. I breathed out deeply, trying to release any amount of pressure from chest. She moved from the kitchen and into the bedroom, returning again and putting on her jacket. Damn.
"You have no idea the kind of pressure I'm under Sweet Pea" she almost bit at me as she zipped herself up.
"Yeah I'm sure there's a lot of pressure straddling Jones" I was shocked I said that, she was shocked I said that. I think I don't even believe what I said but then again, he's her boyfriend. Boyfriend?! She's never called me that, would never call me that. This thought pushed the regret for what I said from me and replaced it back with anger.
"Oh whatever Sweet Pea, talk to me when you recover from the concussion you clearly got from the fall" She flew open the trailer door and stormed out into the cold night. I slid down the fridge, her smashed up phone alongside me. Nice one Pea, you really messed up this time..... except she messed up too, she's dating Jones and didn't tell me. She's dating Jones and didn't tell me. She's dating Jones and didn't tell me. I could feel my neck rise again with anger as I stood and went to the front door. I need to pay the serpent prince a visit.

You’re not sorry-Jughead Jones
Tumblr media
A/n:  This is going to be based on a song...so I hope you guys enjoy! And thank you all for the love and support.
Song: You're not sorry
Written: Taylor Swift
-Samantha
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'All this time I was wasting hoping you would come around, I've been giving out chances every time and all you do is let me down, And it's taken me this long baby, but I've figured you out, And you're thinking we'll be fine again, but not this time around.'
Your POV
I was sitting in my regular booth at Pop's waiting for Jughead to show up. I was getting kind of worried since he's normally earlier than I am. This is not normal behavior for him. He probably lost track of time and didn't realize he did, so I'm praying he gets here before I have to head home.
" Hey Y/n." Pop said
I turned to see him right next to me. I gave him a small smile. " Jug still not here?" he questioned
I sighed and messed with my fingers. I could feel my eyes watering, but didn't want to show it so I quietly told him. " Um, if he comes in can you just tell him I'll see him tomorrow in school?"
He gently put a hand on my shoulder. " Sure, have a nice evening Y/n." he softly said before walking away. I took one last sigh before making my way to my car to head home.
Jughead's POV
I looked up from the paper I was studying over for Betty when I saw the time. My eyes' widened when I saw it was past ten. Betty glanced up in confusion. " Juggie, what's wrong."
I didn't even spare a glance at her since I was rushing to grab my things. " I don't have time Betty. I'm late."
She just sat there, so I spun around. " Betty, I'm sorry, but you have to leave. Not that I don't trust you...I just don't want anyone in my trailer."
She slightly nodded and packed her things. She took her time getting to the door which made me grow annoyed. " Betty, let's go!" She moved faster, when we were both outside I immediately got on my bike to head to Pop's.
Time Skip
I parked and ran inside to find her not there, which made me panic before Pop looked over with a disappointed look. " She told me to tell you she'll see you in school."
I sighed and nodded. I slowly walked to the door to head back to my trailer.
Your POV
'You're looking so innocent, I might believe you if I didn't know, could've loved you all my life if you hadn't left me waiting in the cold, And you've got your share of secrets, And I'm tired of being last to know, Oh, And now you're asking me to listen, 'Cause it's worked each time before.'
I wasn't paying attention to anyone around me since Jughead still hasn't come talk to me. I felt someone sit next to me, but didn't care to look who it was. I felt a tap on my shoulder so I turned to see Kevin giving me a concerned look. I took out one of my earbuds to listen to him. " Are you okay?"
I smiled to make it look like I'm okay. " Yea, I'm really fine Kev."
I knew he didn't believe me, but he didn't say anything. That's why I like Kevin, he knows when to stop cause he knows I'll talk when I want to.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I would have normally sat with the group, but since I've been ignoring Jug I'm sitting in the Blue and Gold. I was about to start some homework since I didn't feel like eating a huge lunch, but I saw a familiar notebook. I know it's wrong to snoop, but I want to know what he's been up to. What I saw was shocking it brought tears in my eyes, but I refused to let them fall.
" Y/n/n?"
I froze from hearing his voice. I didn't know what to do or say. " Um, what are you doing in here?"  he asked
I turned around slowly with the notebook still in my hand. His eyes scanned over me until they dropped to the item in my hand. He started walking closer to me. " Don't come any closer." I said softly
He froze and nodded. " It's not what it seems like. I'm just helping her find her sister okay."
I didn't know what to think. " Are you sure?" I asked unsure
He nodded in response. I pretend to believe his words without him knowing. Before either of us could say anything Betty came in. She had this glow coming from her which only made me not believe his words even more.
" Juggie, you ready to go." She questioned
He turned his head and nodded. " You know I love you right Y/n/n." he said
I smiled and softly said..." I love you too." I watched them both leave and I just knew something was going on.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'You had me crawling for you, honey, And it never would've gone away, no, you used to shine so bright, but I watch it fade.'
It's been about five weeks since Jug and I went on an actual date. He's been hanging out with Betty which is driving me insane. Ever since Betty asked for his help that's all he ever talks about. I can feel the spark between us failing. Our world is fading while his world is shining with Betty.
" Babe, guess what." he said coming up to my locker
" If this is about Betty, I don't want to hear it, Jug." I said annoyed
I heard him let out a scoff. " What's your problem?"
I just let out a laugh. I felt him glare at me, so I turned to face him. He raised his brow to get me to talk. " You do realize you have a girlfriend right." I stated
He nodded " What does that have to do..." I cut him off. " Which means I don't want to hear about Betty. Hell if you like her that much then date her." I couldn't look at his face anymore so I walked away.
' So you don't have to call anymore, I won't pick up the phone, This is the last straw, There's nothing left to beg for, And you can tell me that you're sorry, But I don't believe you, baby, like I did before, You're not sorry, No, no, oh-oh, You're not sorry, No, no, oh-oh.'
Jughead's POV
I was sitting in the booth at Pop's waiting for the group to show up and all I could think about was Y/n. I couldn't figure out if she wants to talk when she's ready or if she said all that to me because she is done with this whole relationship. I was so deep in my thoughts that I didn't hear the bell ring. " Yo, Jug"
I looked up to find Archie sitting right across from me. Before I got a chance to say anything he spoke up. " You alright dude?"
I sighed before saying anything. " Yea, I'm fine. Don't worry about me."
I knew he wouldn't believe me, but didn't say anything about it.
Your POV
I was walking up to Pop's when I noticed the whole group sitting in a booth. I took a pause and let out a deep breath. I finally got the courage to walk through the door. " Hey Y/n, what can I do for you?" Pop asked
I smiled while walking up to the counter. " Um, just my regular." He smiled " You got it."
When he disappeared it didn't take long for the group to come up to me. " Y/n/n, it seems like forever since we saw you." Roni said
I turned and smiled. " Sorry Roni." I really do feel bad for ditching them all, but since Jughead wants to get with Betty I've been avoiding the whole group. Before anyone else could say something I heard..." Can we please talk?" Jughead said
I looked over at him. I took a deep breath before following him outside. I was just waiting for him to start talking. He let out a sigh, then ran his hands over his face. " The things you said at school, did you mean any of that?" he asked
I sighed..." Jug, whatever is happening with Betty..." I paused to get my words put together. " It's ruining our relationship. You're spending almost all your time with her where most days you're ditching me."
I didn't really want him to see me cry so I looked down until I heard these words. " I'm sorry." he whispered
I let out a laugh. I looked up at him and told him. " You're not sorry." I turned to go get Pop to put my food in a to go bag, but before that I turned back around with tears falling down my face I stated. " Also Jug, we're done. Enjoy your life with Betty."
I turned back around so I didn't have to see his face.
 I don't know how sad this will be, but hopefully it's sad enough for you. Request any time. Please enjoy!!
Fic: Any world with you will do
Tumblr media
Any world with you will do by SunlitGarden for dsvridiculousfangirl
Time-traveling contemporary Jughead tries to convince 50's Betty to help him save the world by showing her how intimately he knows her in other timelines. ~~~~ Jughead cannot stand being in this decade–hell, this universe–for one more minute. He stalks into the Blue and Gold, his heart skipping at the sight of a beautiful, swing-skirt-wearing blonde rearranging the photo layout. “Help me Betty Cooper, you’re my only hope,” he says. She quirks an eyebrow. “What?” He tugs his cap. “Ah, sorry, that movie hasn’t come out yet.” “What are you talking about, Jughead?” She giggles, her voice airy and light in a way that makes his stomach tighten with need. Her smile transcends timelines. He loves her in tight sweaters and nylons, but he misses her bandanas and overalls too. He’s not sure he can miss and adore someone when she’s standing right in front of him. Sort of. But he had that problem in other universes too.
Unfinished 7: Riverdale
TW: Mentions of implied abuse, murder, canon typical violence
Summary: Jughead/Reader
You’re still half asleep when you stumble out for a run, struggling down the unfamiliar streets you manage to get lost ten minutes into your running, figuring at some point you’ll end up in town if you keep the pace you’ve set. Your grandfather picks you up when you get to the bridge; you don’t understand why he’s so fearful of the Southside. You find out later he’s not, its a cover, the Southsider’s protect their own in a way he’s envious of, you suppose you should be too. Still he makes a point to tell you to avoid the White Wyrm, the name brings the same shiver down your spine as thinking of your father, you suppose that’s where he spent his time here, when he visited, stating hating the in-laws as to why he’d curl around beer, nothing to do with any of the fighting from him and your mother.
You’re silent as your grandfather pulls up to the school nodding. You’d read the news, stalked the pages of the school paper, a dead body and a new girl, and then you getting thrown to them after the dust had begun settling, you’re pretty sure no one knows about your father. Just that you came to live with your grandparents. “Marriage issues” was your grandfather’s excuse, you decided to stick to it, relieved he had gotten you a job at Pop’s. You knew he meant to keep you too busy to think of leaving. You managed to run to the Southside and back in an hour, if you really focused, not a hard thing to do. Waking up at four am has almost all of the town quiet, no one bothers the small girl in the hoodie. No one cares how she keeps to alleyways and off the main streets. No one pays any attention and that’s what you’re used to. You like to sit next to the tracks, occasionally jumping down next to the river that runs under the bridge.
You slink into the school, content to stay hidden in the shadows observing everyone. You pick out Cheryl, her brother the one who was shot. Betty and Veronica, leaning on each other during cheer practice. Archie the redhead boy you almost confused for Cheryl’s dead brother seems to hang out with her and Toni; which is surprising. Despite his odd group he seems to be occasionally followed by the rest of the Jocks. Jughead is watching them, half paying attention to his writing, half wrapped up in the serpent drama he’s involved in. You don’t interact with them beyond watching. You share classes with all of them, content to listen to them talk. None of them mention you. None of them remember you. None of them seem to notice.
You’re staying after class, having joined the track team. Its indoor practice today and you watch the cheer squad practicing as you do sprints. You watch Cheryl and Veronica practicing, finding Betty with her arm around Jughead. You can feel eyes on you as you run; you’re not sure who has taken notice of you.
You watch Jughead the most, wondering if he remembers you and all the “errands” you’d run for your father. The faster you did them, the more you did; the less time he’d spend with you at night. You try not to dwell on the nights spend over at Jughead’s house too terrified to explain and too terrified to go back. You watch the next morning, how Jughead’s arm is a little loser around Betty’s waist than the other day. You don’t comment; you keep to yourself, silent until Archie stops you smiling, questioning how you’re finding Riverdale.
“Oh it’s great, nice weather.” You shrug keeping yourself slouched and hidden in the hoodie you wear. He beams at you nodding and turning from the less than seconds long conversation. He offers you smiles during the day and Veronica nods at you a few times. You catch Jughead watching you and shrug it off when you can almost see the gears turning in his head.
 You see them at Pops settled in a booth. You’re curious about Jughead, but not enough to make a point of eavesdropping. You retreat to the counter and wait. He returns during the day, and as school picks up, after school as well. You bring him coffee almost every hour as he leers over his laptop so focused you think he doesn’t notice anything else.
It’s too hot, everyone who comes in ordering shakes and the coldest items you offer. You watch Jughead come in again and wait; he nods to you and you step forward.
“Chocolate Malt, please. It’s too hot for anything else” He sounds disappointed, looking longingly at the coffee pot. You’re surprised when his voice is soft, you nod stepping back and putting the order through. You hesitate instead moving to make it yourself. You smile to yourself placing the malt on the table winking at him.
“Outta chocolate. Sorry.” You smile as he arches an eyebrow, pulling the straw over.
“Coffee Malt?” He smiles back at you, you nod. Trying to chase away the butterflies forming in your stomach at his smile. It doesn’t seem to help you see him at school the next day, and the day after that lingering at the entrance to catch you when you leave.
“Hey.” He smirks slightly as you side-eye him. Finally talking to you after almost a week of watching.
“Thought this side didn’t like snakes.” You gesture to the jacket he wears and his smirk splits into a grin.
“You scared of snakes then?” You shake your head as he walks with you to Pop’s sliding into the booth and gesturing for you to sit as well. You slide across from him and he smirks as your grandfather slides two shakes in front of you.
“Jughead. I don’t know if you remember me but-“He starts and you laugh smiling.
“Course I remember you Jonesie.” He smiles looking relieved.
“What brings you back here then?” You cough over your shake and he looks sheepish for a second.
“Parents aren’t married anymore. Easier to live with my grandparents.” You shrug, it’s not a lie, just an omission.
“What’s been happening since I’ve been away?” You ask as he leads you out of Pop’s towards the tracks, where you run every morning.
“Nothing really, just the regular high school drama, besides Jason’s ya know passing.”
“Nothing on the love front then?” You wiggle your eyebrows as he laughs ducking his head.
“Betty and I are dating, been a bit rocky, she’s not a fan of snakes.” He shrugs.
You’re sitting through English, flickering your gaze around the room; both Betty and Jughead aren’t in. You’re not surprised, they we’re often “busy” as you had heard the other serpents mumble between classes. You know they’re not fond of Betty, unsure why, you assume they don’t like how she seems to be changing him and putting him in danger; not that being in serpents was without it. You’re surprised when the teacher calls you outside. The principal standing in front of you, his hand on your shoulder, carefully explaining what you’re not surprised to hear. Your father was out on bail; he had been for three days before your mother was killed. He was getting life, not only for her murder but for the abuse he inflicted on you. They didn’t need you to testify. He holds his arm out towards the entrance of the school before nodding to you. You turn from him, from the door and return into class, settling back into your seat. You wait, fingers dancing against your desk. It takes half an hour but what feels like years before you’re free to leave. You should be going to chemistry but you gather your things making a beeline for the doorway. You bump past Betty and are about to pass Jughead when his hand brushes against your shoulder. You move faster, feet pounding desperately trying to outrun what you’ve just heard. You’re trapped in Riverdale; you know what will happen when this comes out, the pity people look at you with, the horror from everyone. You can faintly hear someone running after you, you wonder how deranged, how ill you look.
You pass by the tracks, jumping over the bridge on the side and hiding under it for a moment before stepping out from the shadow, settling against a rock near the river. You cringe when you hear footsteps.
“What got you fleeing from school so bad then?” You shiver turning and facing Jughead who stands arms open.
“Come here sweets.” You shake your head.
“What about Betty.”
“Betty and I are kinda…” he shakes his hand. You raise an eyebrow.
“We were a thing, dating, but we’re sort of on a break. So you don’t have to worry about keeping up apperances.” He shrugs. You nod arm snaking around and patting his shoulder.
“Wanna talk about it then? Or are you too tough now you’re a serpent.” You stick your tongue out laughing trying to distract him. He offers a half smile. You sit next to him watching the river flowing.
“Why are you here?” His voice is soft and you turn to him, he wipes his finger against your face, you’re not sure when you started crying again.
“Come on sweets, what happened?” You keep your arms tight around your knees as you pull them up to your chest.
“You remember when my dad made me go running around the neighborhood, for all his errands?” Jughead nods watching as your shoulders shake slightly.
“The more I did the less he, the less he’d bother me.” You hesitate refusing to look at Jughead’s face.
“Bother as in?” he breaks off and you curl away from him. You can feel his arm pulling you back towards him.
“As in why you weren’t allowed to stay at night.”
“I’ll-“ He starts to threaten and you snort.
“He’s in prison now.” Jughead nods.
“And your mother?” You shake your head.
“She went back up to testify against him, he got out on bail..” You shrug. “Took him two days.” You duck your head closing your eyes.
“Why I ran, couldn’t breathe. You think if I run enough it’ll go away?” You don’t move but can feel Jughead lifting you up and setting you in his lap. His hand running through your hair as you start to sob slightly.
“It’s okay.” You crush back your sobs and nod.
“I’m okay. Just, I’m-“ You shrug again and Jughead smiles at you.
“Cry all you want. It’s just me.” You drop your gaze, a frown on your face.
“I know.” You can feel the arch in his eyebrow, the disapproval on his face. You can feel his hand against your face bumping your eyes up to look at his.
“What’s going on? You’ve been avoiding me. What happened to us being friends?” You shake your head, not trusting your voice. He scowls.
“I’m sorry, I just. I’m sorry.” You bury your face into his chest sobbing again, mumbling apologies. He holds you before standing, cradling you against this chest. You don’t say anything as he starts to move. You trust him to bring you somewhere safe.
You’re not surprised to feel yourself being set down. You sit up, slightly confused at the room you’re in.
“We moved.” You nod as he moves to sit across the room from you, your grip on his arm tightening.
“Please.” Your voice shakes as much as you do, he sits next to you, leaning on the headboard swinging his legs up as you move to the side of the bed, half draped on top of him. You fall asleep, you can hear him talking as you wake up, on the phone, repeating that’s ‘she’s okay. She’s at my house.’ You assume he’s talking to your grandfather and you return to sleep.
You wake up at one am, scowling at the clock you shift and Jughead moves with you, humming to question why you’re awake.
“Go back to sleep Jonesie.” You mumble, his hand resting on your thigh as you drift off. You wake up at six am, knowing you won’t be able to sleep more.
“Jonesie?” He hums in response still half asleep, you move to get off of him and the bed, before you can, you realize his arm is trapping you. You curl against his side and try to sleep until the alarm goes off. Jughead frowns arm untangling from you as he rolls his joints cracking them as he looks his clothes up and down shrugging and grabbing his jacket.
“Ready for school?” He laughs holding your bag out and you nod, finger combing your hair and pulling one of his flannels from the drawers he has shrugging it on.
“What?” He rolls his eyes.
“Might want to pick a different one.” You snort.
“Why this your Serpent flannel?” He blanks his face deadpanning a nod at you before he starts laughing. You roll your eyes back at him throwing your bag over your shoulder as you both walk towards the school. The Serpent’s cheer when they see him, he scoffs shaking his head. Archie and Veronica shoot him a glare and you fall back looking at Sweet Pea.
“What happened?” Sweet Pea laughs walking with you towards Track practice.
“Apparently Jugs bailed on a ‘save our relationship date’ with Betty to spend time with you. Unless he comes up with some five-star verified reason Betty’ll want him dead for ditching. Specially since it was with you.”
“Me?” You shake your head. “I’m no more threat to her than Archie is to Toni.” Sweet Pea just laughs licking his lips.
“There’s gonna be a fight I’ll warn you of that.” He shoves something cold and thin into your hand, a small switchblade, you watch him as he turns to the locker rooms.
“You keep safe now garden snake.” He winks and you roll your eyes.
Jughead keeps close to you, the Serpent’s drifting in and out of your vision all day. You mostly ignore them, pretending like you don’t notice them.
Betty appears in the bathroom, a stand off as you stare at the door behind her.
“Jughead wouldn’t say why or what you two were doing yesterday. We’re still dating.” You don’t respond assuming she’s going to talk more. She hisses at you, anger clear as she steps forward. You don’t move.
“What were you doing with my boyfriend?”
“We talked.” You shrug, there’s no reason to lie. “Didn’t he tell you?”
“He said you talked about Serpent things. Things I’m not allowed to know. You’re not even a Serpent.” She scowls.
“Where did you hear I’m not a Serpent?” you cock your head genuinely confused. She takes two more steps towards you. You hear a heel click on the floor. Cheryl you think, the echo from the stall behind Betty, you knew she would grab her, a favor to the Serpent’s you assumed.
“I know things, it's obvious you’re not one.” She looks you up and down scornfully. You shove past her and she follows on your heels.
“If you’re a Serpent you should have no problem showing your tattoo off.” She calls after you. You freeze, the Serpents nervously hovering. Jughead scowls.
“Betty don’t.” She rolls her eyes at him.
“What? She too good to show a non-Serpent her mark? Please, you all show them off all the time.”
You carefully shrug off the flannel, exposing your shoulder a crude snake carved into your flesh by your father.
“Hiss hiss.” You pull the flannel back up. She stares agape.
“You carved that in yourself? You really are just a wannabe snake.” You swallow stepping towards her. Archie and Veronica flank her. You snort holding your hands up to show you’re not a threat.
“What are you playing at?” She hisses stepping forward. You can tell whatever edge she had in the bathroom is gone. Her last attempt at being intimidating. You blink uninterestedly at her.
“Nothing, I told you what happened. Jonesie and I just talked, about things you shouldn’t know. That’s all.” You know the nickname was a bad idea, her face blanks and she nods.
“Run along. You’re not even a real snake.” She snorts, thinking she has the upper hand as you turn, cowering at her raised voice. Her hand shoots out gripping your shoulder and you panic. You don’t look back sprinting from the school and rushing halfway to the Southside before you slow, sure she’s not following you. Sweet Pea is the one to find you; you’re shaking arms digging into your own shoulders as he steps in front of you, waving in your field of vision.
“Jug’s consoling Betty, apparently she snapped and was gonna hurt you. Not that she could do much to a snake.” He shrugs. You nod following him to his truck as he starts it to bring you to Pop’s. You sit in the car as he gets out, explaining to whoever is in the booth you’re in the car. You stumble out and trip onto the sidewalk cringing as you step into Pop’s. It goes silent as you move closer to the table. Archie and Veronica on one side, Betty in between them and Jughead who’s talking in a murmur to her. She scowls as you sit, the edge seat, next to Cheryl and Sweet Pea.
“Juggie explained some of it but not much..” Veronica answers as you sit down.
“You don’t need to know more than what he told you.” You don’t look at them nails digging into your arm as you sink into the booth.
“He said your father made your mother move away, and that they’re getting a divorce so they sent you to live here.” Archie explains. You nod. Betty scowls but nods back at you.
“Still doesn’t explain why you cut yourself into the serpents.” You raise an eyebrow.
“Why are you so desperate to get into that gang anyways, they’re nothing but trouble, dragging people down who stand no chance outside of their ‘family’ Its horrible how easily they target people.”
“So this is about Jonesie then?” She scowls about to open her mouth when Jughead pulls away, nodding to Sweet Pea. They move to leave and you shift uncomfortably, Betty scowls pulling on Jughead’s hand.
“Juggsie you know I didn’t mean you..” She starts and he nods.
“Just everyone else in the gang if you didn’t. No big deal.” He pulls away nodding to everyone else.
“Give me a bit.” He huffs as he storms out Sweet Pea following along. You sit awkwardly next to Cheryl as Betty glares at you.
“Why are you back anyways? Couldn’t you just stay with your mother?”
“No her place is really small, one room. Not in a good school district either.” Cheryl watches, you can see her forehead creasing. Archie turns as the bell dings, Sweet Pea walking back in.
“Jug’s okay?” Sweet Pea shrugs, nodding to you.
“Come on.” You cringe slightly standing up and following Sweet Pea out.
“Won’t they be mad? Wasn’t the goal of this to make Betty not want to kill me?” You laugh a little as Sweet Pea smirks.
“It was, until she just spewed her true feelings about us.” You nod biting your lip.
“So Jughead’s going to break it off with her? Won’t that mess up their friend group? To say the least?” You follow Sweet Pea as he shrugs.
“I guess, I don’t think Jug’s is concerned with them much, not right now. What Betty said, probably cut him pretty deep, even if he’s not saying it. We’ll probably have a serpent meeting to talk about it.” He nods and you smile.
“Let me know when I need to leave then.” He shakes his head.
“You’re a serpent with us. We’re your family.” You shake your head
“Not much of a serpent if I’ve been gone.” You start and Sweet Pea shakes his head.
“Come on.” He pulls you towards the car, as you’re driving you note he familiarity of the Southside.
“The Wyrm?” You hesitate as he slides out of the car.
“Come on. Jugs’ll be happy to see you.” You nod sighing and stepping forward following Sweet Pea.
“Hey FP, seen Jughead?” Sweet Pea nods and gestures to the stairs. You step after him but FP stops you.
“Y/N? What’re you doing back kid?” You smile, pausing on the stairs.
“Moved back a little while ago, parents are having issues.” FP nods.
“We’re your family remember, you stay as long as you need.” You nod as he pats you on the back.
“Sweet Pea, come here for a sec. Y/N, you can go up.” You continue up the stairs tapping your fist on the doorway.
“Jonesie, you okay?” He stays quiet, you can see him sitting on the chair and he gestures with his hand for you to sit next to him.
“Hey, can we uh talk?” You nod sitting next to him as he sighs shaking his head.
“Betty and I, we were never going to work, she’s a Northsider, the perfect girl next door, everything Archie should have, everything Ronnie should get. I’m just trailer white trash in a gang, the stereotypical bad boy she falls for and fixes. It’s just infuriating she doesn’t see it.”
“You don’t need to be fixed, it’s just both of you have different worlds you live in, you don’t need to be ‘fixed’ for her world, and she doesn’t need to ‘go dark’ or whatever she’s said to fit yours. If it’s meant to work it will, and so far it doesn’t seem like it will. There’s no shame in that. Better to break it off now than suffer.” He half smiles at you wiping at his eyes.
“Now then, why didn’t you tell me you were the new Serpent Prince, if I had known you were royalty I would have behaved better.” You laugh and he smiles slightly.
