Go Soo and Kim Dong-hui, in a tense confrontation with Nam Hyun-woo, the 'criminal soul' with a pistol
Tumblr media
In the tvN Monday-Tuesday drama 'Missing: They Were There 2', Go Soo and Kim Dong-Hwi face a tense confrontation with detective spirit Nam Hyeon-Woo, who aims a gun at them.
‘Missing: They Were There 2’ (Director Min Yeon-Hong Lee Ye-Rim/Screenwriter Ban Ki-Ri Jung So-Young/Hereafter ‘Missing 2’) In the last broadcast, the past of Yoo Yong-Yong (Kim Dong-Hwi) was revealed. While Oh Yoo-yong followed his friend Kim Pil-joong (Jung Yoon-jae) to deliver drugs to pay for his mother's hospital bills, he saw the news that his father, who was drunk with the drugs he delivered, murdered his son, and was suffering from guilt for committing the murder. Upon hearing this, Kim Wook cleared up all the misunderstandings about Oilyong, and the two became close like brothers. Along with this, Kim Wook embarked on an investigation to find the body of Go Sang-cheol (played by Nam Hyun-woo), and succeeded in sublimating the spirit of Lee Ro-ha (played by Kim Ha-eon), a homeless child in Industrial Complex 3, with Jang Pan-seok (played by Heo Jun-ho) and Lee Jong-ah (played by Ahn So-hee). It raised interest in future developments.
Among them, 'Missing 2' side released a picture showing the confrontation between Kim Wook, Oh Oil Yong and detective spirit Ko Sang-cheol ahead of the 8th broadcast on the 10th (Tuesday). In the photo, Ko Sang-cheol is aiming a pistol at Kim Wook and Oil Yong. On the other hand, Kim Wook captures the gaze by revealing a determined gaze that does not waver even in front of Ko Sang-cheol's gun pointed at him. Moreover, Oh Yu-yong's expression is filled with nervousness and embarrassment, which stimulates curiosity about the situation.
Jang Pan-seok, Kang Seon-jang (Lee Jeong-eun), and Jung Young-jin (Jung Eun-pyo) seem to be surprised by the confrontation between the three and cannot take their eyes off them. Jang Pan-seok and Kang Seon-jang express their worries and concerns about them, adding to their curiosity.

Tag game : Top 5 male characters
I got tagged by @izzy-jellybaby
I didn't know if it was just bl characters or not so I'll just do two lists :
1. Saint Suppapong as Tutor. ( Why R U the series)
It is Saint's best role to date. The character is complex, the acting is superb, the emotions displayed are amazing. He's not just a stern guy with problems, he can be soft, he can be strong. He's perfect.
Tumblr media
Okay. I had to choose a sensual gif.
2. Off Jumpol as Khai (Theory of Love)
I just love Khai. His development, his whole character. Yes he was a dumb asshole in the beginning but he grew up. His acting, man his acting. He was soooo good. He made me cry. His emotions were displayed so well. He loved his friends, he made mistakes but made amends for them too. And in the end, all the shit that the others throw at him, he just accepts it. It hurt me. When he wasn't at fault for the kiss with girl and everyone blamed him, he blamed himself and I wanted to just hug him and tell him, no it's not. He's my baby.
This gif. Haha.
Tumblr media
3. Gun as Third (Theory of Love)
Gun is such an amazing actor and I loved Third's struggles. He's shown to be a pushover at first, but as the show progresses his character completely changes. He knows when to stand his ground, he knows how to protect himself and others. He might be hurting but he's not cruel. He's strong and he shows it throughout the series. I love him.
Tumblr media
4. Nut Nutchapong as Nueng (Grey Rainbow)
Grey Rainbow in itself is such a touching show. It's gentle and warm and heartwarming, heartbreaking as well. I had difficulty choosing in between Porsche and Nueng but I prefer Nueng I guess. The moment he realised that both of them loved each other, he went all in. He loved with all his heart, whether it was Jean or Porsche. He was so compassionate, so straightforward, so perfect in every sense. A person like Nueng can not be forgotten. He's the kind of guy that could warm up the coldest heart with his earnestness. He loved Porsche. Their moments as just friends, the way he cared for him after the incident, the way he was always so worried about him. Aah. The feels. The acting was superb.
Tumblr media
5. Fandy Fan as Hsia Yu Hao (History 2: Crossing the Line)
This is such a cute show. So adorable. Fandy was sooooooo cute. He fell in love with Qui Zi Xuan and was just a pupppppy. He kept doing things for him, staring at him, being happy at being complimented. He was soo cute that I couldn't take my eyes off him.
Just look at the puppy
Tumblr media
Honorable mention: Nine Kornchid as Kit (2 moons 2)
Nine owned the role. Out of all the 2 moons characters, Kit was the one with the most story to work with I think. His character was snarky, sarcastic, had a good wholesome love story, from being wooed and being flustered and then developing the relationship and trust. Kit was a trustworthy and good friend, an intelligent to-be doctor, straight and snarky with words, but a total teddy bear. He didn't like the games Ming played, but didn't want to hurt him. He didn't want to believe in love, but felt happy being wooed.
Plus I love nine so. No gif for nine, because only 10 gifs allowed per post. So....
Top 5 male characters in general
1. Lee Min Ho as Gu Jun Pyo (Boys over flowers)
It was any first ever kdrama and Gu Jun Pyo. Aah I have no words. He's hilarious. And lovable. And funny and cute and everything. He was so stupid and dumb but so pitiful at the same time. How he could suddenly believe that Geum Jan Do likes him? That scene still cracks me up to this day
Tumblr media
2. Ji Chang Wook as Seo Jung Ho (Healer)
My favorite kdrama to date, Ji Chang Wook was amaaaazing as healer. All rounded, hot, sometimes adorable, always fiesty and intelligent. He was so well matched with Park Min Young. She was as strong as him. He never undermined her and they always moved shoulder to shoulder, side by side. I loved the feminist vibes as a whole.
Gif is the semi naked one, cz why not.
Tumblr media
3. Cho Seung Woo as Hwang Shi Mok (Secret Forest)
Cho Seung Woo is a brilliant actor and this serial, OMG the suspense, the ease with which it's done. It's perfect. He was cool calm composed, unearthing secrets, tenacious. He couldn't feel but he was so hurt by the ones they lost. Aah. Hwang Shi Mok. U are a gem.
Tumblr media
4. Park Hyeung Shik as Ahn Min Hyuk (Strong Woman Do Bong Soon)
Aaaah Park Hyeung Shik was sooooo cute here. He was perfect. He loved Do Bong Soon just as she was, loved her strength. He was always so supportive of her and he was super duper intelligent and fun loving.
Tumblr media
5. Nam Joo Hyuk as Jung Joon Hyun (Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo)
The bestest friend, the perfect loving boyfriend, funny, hot body and all around a beautiful person. Need I say more?
Tumblr media

🔞
This is an explicit content. If you don't like such content, please don't read it as I've already warned beforehand and I'm not sexualizing the idols as this is only fictional. So, please do keep that in mind and proceed to read if you're interested, thank you.
"Miss, this is for you." My assistant said and passed me an envelope. I took it from him and opened it. The was a picture of a guy and a letter inside the envelope. I unfolded the letter and read it. A client named, Goo Jun Pyo asked me to kill his rival, Jung Wooyoung because he's facing a huge loss and he's also loosing business partners because of Wooyoung. He also further stated that he's willing to pay me a good amount of money. I looked at my assistant and asked him, "Chris, how much is he willing to pay"? He answered me, "5 Million, miss." I took my phone and called my client. He answered and immediately asked me if I've received the letter or not but I cut him off by saying, "10 million. Give me 10 million and your work is done." "10 million? That's expensive." He complained.
"Nothing in this world is cheap or free unless you want it imperfect. I will kill him but I will write a note saying that you were the one who asked me to kill him. So, how?" I replied. "Fine, 10 million. Done." Jun Pyo said. "Bank in the money to my account now." I told him and ended the call. "Chris, check if that Jun Pyo is transferring the money or not." I told my assistant and minutes later Chris checked and told me that the money has been transferred.I took the picture from the table and observed it. I admit, Wooyoung really looked very hot and handsome. "Jung Wooyoung, sadly you're going to die." I whispered to myself while smirking. "Chris, I need more details about him. Now!" I ordered my assistant and he followed my instructions.
Now, I'm standing in front of Jung Wooyoung's mansion. Chris collected the details about Wooyoung and found out that he has a habit of having a party in his mansion whenever his deal with his business partner becomes successful. What a spoilt brat...but it's okay. This gives me a great opportunity to enter his mansion because he's having a party today and not to forget Wooyoung doesn't mind having strangers invited to his party because he thinks the more the merrier...dumbass. I wore a red dress which fit me perfectly and not to forget my lucky gold gun hidden inside my stockings. I went inside and was surprised to see how big his mansion was. So many people were inside there and not to forget loud music blasting from the speakers.
"Excuse me, miss. Would you like to have some red wine?" A waiter came to me and asked. I said sure and took the glass of red wine and drank it in one gulp and gave back the glass to him. Honestly, I felt like killing everyone there because of how loud and annoying they were but screw it. I'll just kill my target and leave this place as soon as possible. Suddenly, a guy walked towards my direction and told me that Wooyoung wants to meet me. I was taken back. I asked the dude who is he and he said that he's Wooyoung's bodyguard. I just shrugged it off and asked him where was Wooyoung and he asked me to follow him. He then guided me to a room and asked me to go in. I went inside, it looked like a bedroom. Moments later, a male voice spoke behind me.
"Looking for me?" Wooyoung asked me while locking his room door. "Jung Wooyoung." I told while locking my eyes with him. He continued staring at me while I was admiring on how hot he looked in his suit. I wish I could slam him against the door and make out with him but no. I'm here to kill him. "Who are you?" He asked me, waking me up from my trance. "I'm here to see you." I told him seductively. "Me?" He asked me and I nodded my head. "And why?" He asked me again while walking forward towards me but I didn't move back. "No specific reasons." I answered him back. He came closer to me and stood in front of me.
"Isn't it funny?" He asked me while twirling the ends of my hair with his finger. "What do you mean?" I asked him back feeling a little cautious. "The famous assassin, (Y/N), is here looking for me, Jung Wooyoung." He answered me while looking straight into my eyes. I widened my eyes in shock. I asked him how did he know about me and he answered, "I was waiting to see you, baby. But I didn't expect to meet you this soon." No, I should do something. I quickly took out my gun from my stocking and pointed at him but he pulled my right arm and held it tightly behind me. Then, he pulled the gun from my hand and tossed it somewhere in the room. "Tsk baby girl, you should think twice before you do something." He said while kissing my neck. "Fuck off, Wooyoung." I told him while gritting my teeth. "I guess you need to learn a lesson." He said and pushed me on his bed.
I tried to escape but he sat on my stomach. I tried to push him away but I couldn't... he's way too strong. "No, baby girl. Listen to your master." He said and ripped off my dress. "No, bra. Perfect." He said and started sucking on my nipples. I tried to stifle my moan but his lips was doing a great job, causing me to be a moaning mess. He smirked and encouraged me to moan louder, making me feeling embarrassed. He then pulled away and took something out from his drawer, it was handcuffs. He put the handcuffs on my hand and gave a satisfied smile while coming up to my lips and making out with me. One of his hand travelled down to my panties and swiftly he slipped his hand inside and started rubbing my clit.
I moaned in his mouth feeling so much pleasure from the wonders his fingers was doing on my womanhood. He growled while kissing me after listening to me moan out loud. "You know what baby, I can't take this anymore. I want to feel every inch of you." Wooyoung said and removed his clothes quickly. I was unconsciously biting my lips while checking out his well built body...like damn he was so freaking hot. "Like what you see." He said teasingly and gave me a wink and that action made me rub my thighs with each other to ease the tension I was feeling down there. Wooyoung then opened my legs apart and used his finger to rub my opening collecting my wetness, making me shudder in response.
"Look how wet are you for me, my dirty assassin." He said and sucked his finger. "Please, I need you now." I begged him. He praised me for being obedient for him while rubbing the tip of his dick up and down on my womanhood. He then entered into me slowly, making sure to feel every inch of my walls wrapping around his dick. I moaned feeling how well he fit my hole. He then leaned forward, causing his dick to go so deep into me causing me to feel shivers. "Yes, baby. Is master making you feel so good? Uh?" He said softly while nibbling my ear and moving back and forth into me slowly. "Woo-ah... Wooyoung please move faster." I told him only for him to spank the side of thigh hardly causing me to yelp in both pain and pleasure.
"It's master, baby. And you don't tell master about what to do. I know....how to ruin you." He said, the last words slipping out as a whisper causing goosebumps to form on my body. While moving in and out of me slowly, he then lifted himself up from my body, and placed both my legs on his shoulders and started pounding into me in an inhumane pace causing me to moan and whimper out for him. He wasn't shy to moan out the pet name he gave me as well, causing me to reach my high fast at how sexy his vocal sounded. "Fuck, baby. I'm close." He growled and I gave him a signal saying that I was close as well. He brought his right hand on my clit and rubbed them in the same speed as he was thrusting into me causing me to see stars.
One last moan I let out while arching my back and then both of us came undone at the same time. I shuddered at how good my orgasm felt and let my back fall back on the mattress, followed by Wooyoung falling on top of me while he was still coming down from his orgasm. He pulled out of me and cleaned both of us then fell on his back next to me. "Goo Jun Pyo." I spoke. "What?" He asked me while covering both of our bare bodies with his satin blanket. "Goo Jun Pyo asked me to kill you." I repeated myself. He cursed under his breath and took his phone out to call someone but I stopped him. "Please don't tell anyone. I will leave now and kill him for you." I told him and got up to change.
"I tore your clothes." He said while smirking at me. "Can I borrow your clothes, please?" I asked him. "Stay here." He replied. I looked at him dumbfounded. He pulled me by wrist causing me to fall on top of him. "Stay here and be my personal assassin. Don't leave me. I want to have you all to myself." He confessed. "Are you serious?" I asked him and he nodded his head and pecked my lips in return. He then pushed me softly till my back touched the mattress and covered me back with his blanket. "I want you, (Y/N)." He confessed one last time before giving me a gentle kiss on my lips and cuddled me to sleep causing me to blush deep shades of pink.

Geum Jan Di watched her first friend from Shinhwa High walk way,  she couldn't look away from his back, strong and broad. Jan-Di smiled softly until he was swallowed by the crowd and even then she stood, eyes unfocused fingers rubbing where his lips were minutes earlier. 'Good job, sunbae.' She thought before shaking her head slightly.
The other members of the F4 gang stood watching her, all concerned for their new friend. So Yi-Jung and Song Woo-Bin were contemplating how to cheer her up when Gun Jun-Pyo interjected. "Aish, Let's go. I can cheer you up." He reached for her hand but she skipped out of the way.
"Thank but not needed. I am fine. I will miss him but he promised me that he would be happy this way. I decided I am going to trust sunbae. I am going to head home." Jan-Di declined his offer and that second her phone rang. "Hello? Did you get to your gate okay? Sunbae, did you forget something?" She laughed lightly. She listened for a moment. "No. I was just leaving. I will be fine, I told you that two days ago." Jan-Di rolled her eyes. "Safe travels, sunbae. Call me when you land, yeah? I will call Unnie if you don't." She laughed again, before growing quiet. "Bye Ji-Hoo." She snapped her phone shut, taking a deep breath. "Okay, I am now heading home. Woo-Bin sunbae, Yi-Jung sunbae, Jun-Pyo, thank for letting me accompany you to seeing Ji-Hoo sunbae off. I will be leaving first then." She bowed to them before leaving the airport. F3 watching her as she did.
"You think she will really be okay?" Yi-Jung asked.
Woo-Bin shrugged. "Were they really that close? The had run ins, yeah. but like when did they swap numbers? When did they get this close?"
"Probably Seo-Hyun noona's doing." Yi-Jung said. "Ji-Hoo was saying about how he had plans the other day. Wonder if they had plans together, he had been unreasonably moody a few days ago."
"Enough about those two. Let's go." Jun-Pyo demanded. The other two nodded and they left the airport.
A few days had passed. Shinhwa High was the same, Jan-Di was bullied by the other students but it wasn't as intense, however some of the girls had taken offense at her being the reason of their beloved Ji-Hoo leaving. Jan-Di was trying to balance school, her family, bullies, a job and the demands the F3 members put on her as their 'mascot'. She had been enjoying her lunch when it was rudely interrupted by a screaming crowd. She looked up expected Yi-Jung and Woo-Bin together or Jun-Pyo by himself based of the shrillness of the screams. However there wasn't anyone by their entrance. She turned back to her lunch but was distracted by a shadow on her table and the complete silence of the room. She looked up, swallowing her last bite of food in her mouth. She jumped up throwing her arms around his neck.
"Ji-Hoo sunbae! I missed you! Why didn't you tell me you were returning? Wait, why are you here? What about Seo-Hyun unnie? When did you get back? Did you see the others?" Jan-Di rattled off, letting go of Ji-Hoo. Ji-Hoo smiled down at the girl, who was frantically packing up her things.
"What's wrong?" Ji-Hoo asked. “Didn’t you miss me?”
"It's not my place to offer but I think a venue change will do us both some good. I can feel my skin melting from the heat of the glares coming my way. And you don't like being the center of attention." Jan-Di explained. Ji-Hoo only nodded slightly in agreement, wondering again at how she learned to read him so quickly.
"Since you are only thinking of my benefit, I will suggest the F4 clubhouse. It technically is my place to offer. Shall we?" Ji-Hoo offered his arm and together they slipped through the crowd. Once free Ji-Hoo began answer Jan-Di's questions.
"I wanted to surprise you. That is why I didn't tell you. I came back for a few reasons, Seo-Hyun noona is fine, she told me to tell you hello and also she requests that you text her more often. I got back yesterday but needed to get settled and the guys knew I was coming back. I told them to keep it a secret from you." Ji-Hoo explained while preparing tea. "Yi-Jung kept me up to date on the going-ons over here." He looked at Jan-Di pointedly. she avoided his gaze, able to string a sentence together. She ran her index finger around the rim of her teacup, no longer concerned about her lunch.
"Jun-Pyo and the others kept me company when...I was alone. I would try to get them to lay off but you know how they are." Jan-Di shrugged, still speaking into her cup. "I tried and tried but...but I didn't mind. I will say that they calmed down significantly though, once the newness of me wore off." She smiled up at Ji-Hoo. "Don't worry, I still refuse to call Jun-Pyo sunbae. He seems tense lately though."
Ji-Hoo sat down with a sigh, shaking his head. "I am sorry. I feel responsible for your torment with them. I shouldn't have left." Ji-Hoo took a sip of tea looking into the middle distance. "Jun-Pyo is trying to comprehend where you stand. Not often does he have someone in his life solely for the sake of being there. However your presence may be causing trouble for him as well. We will have to see." Ji-Hoo trailed off.
"What are you saying, Ji-Hoo sunbae?" Jan-Di asked. Ji-Hoo smiled softly.
"I am not saying anything. I know that a girl like you is shaking things up just by being as close as you are. Take no offense, please." Ji-Hoo ruffled her bangs. "Class will be starting soon. I will see you later." Ji-Hoo helped Jan-Di out of her chair, taking the tea tray out of her hands.
"It's nice to know that I wasn't too late." He murmured under his breath turning away. Jan-Di watched him walk away wanting to ask what he meant but decided to keep quiet.
"Sunbae, I need to hand to the science labs, so I will see you later." Jam-Di said.
"Better hurry, don't want you being late on account of me and all." Ji-Hoo uncharacteristically hesitated. Jan-Di waited. "Do-Can-I mean-Can I see you after class? I can take you home after?" Ji-Hoo asked.
"Of course, our spot?" Jan-Di confirmed. He nodded. Jan-Di beamed up at him, eye twinkling and teeth showing. Her happiness making his breath catch. "Ji-Hoo sunbae, I am glad you are back. I missed you."
"What am I supposed to say to that?" Ji-Hoo asked. Jan-di looked up at him in confusion. He huffed a laugh and leaned down bringing his hands up to her cheeks.
Ji-Hoo pressed his lips to Jan-Di's forehead, lingering for a moment.
"I will see you after class. Now get going." Ji-Hoo pulled away, relishing in the stunned look on Jan-Di's face. ‘Is this how she looked after I kissed her in the airport? How did I ever walk away from her?'
The day came to an end. The school halls echoing with the frantic whispers of the students, rumors already flying about what happened at lunch. Jan-Di was glad for the rumors, it turned everyone's attention away from her and back to F4 who had finally been reconnected. She left her last class nerves finally catching up with her. 'I thought I was over him, but he comes back and I am just as lost as before.' She thought to herself. Distracted as she was, she didn't notice Gu Jun-Pyo right outside, The girls were screaming but she missed even that.
"Hey, Laundry-Girl. You really going to ignore me like that? Where are you manners?" He demanded. Jan-Di stopped, turning to him, dropping into a bow.
"Sorry, Jun-Pyo. I didn't see you there. Did you need something? I am in a slight hurry. If it can wait, I will call you." Jan-Di said. Jun-Pyo peered at her closely.
"Are you sick or some shit? You are never this nice to me. What is going on with you?" Jun-Pyo demanded. Jan-Di ran her hands through her hair. She reached out and grabbed his hand.
"Can I ask you a question? Nevermind. I am fine. I have to go." Jan-Di pulled away. Jun-Pyo grabbed her hand again.
"He came all this way for you. He didn't want to leave in the first place. if you have taught me anything, it is to trust in my feelings. Also you are no coward. Just go. okay?" Jun-Pyo said.
"Gu Jun-Pyo are you trying to cheer me up? The great Gu Jun-Pyo is worried about little old Geum Jan-Di?" Jan-Di laughed, her smile not fading. "I'm not scared, I will have you know."
"I know that. I was just reminding you. And I am more concerned you depressed attitude would have on my friends. especially Ji-Hoo if you planned on rejecting him." Jun-Pyo waved off a girl who was trying to get his attention. "Speaking of, you should get going. Don't make him wait too long." Jun-Pyo playfully ruffed her hair. "contrary to this school rumor mill, I am glad to have met you, Laundry-Girl. That is the last time I will say anything on the subject. Now get going." Jun-Pyo nudged her firmly in the direction of the doors.
"Thanks Jun-Pyo. You really are a good friend." Jan-Di finally let her smile fall. "I will be leaving first then." Jan-Di hurried to her locker and then walked down the familiar path to the bench where she first saw Ji-Hoo playing the violin.
As Jan-Di walked she couldn't help but think back on the few moments they had shared together, the many times he had saved her from emotional humiliations and physical hurts. The more she thought on Ji-Hoo the more she realized that she was never over him. She made him leave-pushed him away hoping he would find happiness, not wanting her selfishness to be what brought him sadness. 'Am I what he really wants? Am I only convenient? He is too good for me. Maybe this is a mistake...' Jan-Di stopped a few feet away from the bench.
Ji-Hoo sat perfectly poised and patiently waiting. She stepped forward, the sound of her shoes catching his attention. He looked up, smiling wide, Jan-Di felt her anxiousness ease slightly. "Jan-Di, I am glad to see you again. I have something-"
"Why did you come back really? Seo-Hyun unnie was what you wanted isn't it? what could have happened to bring you all the way back here so quickly. And don't tell me it was me. If I am the cause of your sadness, I don't know what I will do." Jan-Di's voice cracked slightly, eyes beginning to sting.
"Jan-Di, I did come back for you. but you have never once since meeting you ever thought you brought me sadness. You have only brought me happiness. You expanded my horizons, showed me how to look inside myself. This trip to Paris was only to confirm what I already knew. I loved Seo-Hyun habitually. I once loved her but I grew up and at some point realized our relationship was better when platonic rather than romantic." Ji-Hoo said. He stopped seeing Jan-Di's anxiety was not soothed, he pulled her into a tight hug. "I love you, Geum Jan-Di. I have for a while now, it just took me too long to realize that. I was afraid I was too late and someone had swept in during my absence to heal your broken heart."
"No. No one. I made my position as F4 mascot very clear while you were away and spent the few days running from their demands." Jan-Di said. She froze finally understanding what Ji-Hoo said. "Sunbae, are you-did you-I am-what?" She gaped at the older man. He laughed and nodded, tightening his embrace.
"Yes, ma'am. I said what I said. Let me have the honor of dating you, please." Ji-Hoo pressed a kiss into her hair. He tried to keep the nerves out of his voice.
"Ji-Hoo sunbae, you really mean that don't you? You love me? As much as I love you? I was so happy when I heard Seo-Hyun was leaving, I thought maybe you would finally see me. But then I realized I would rather have you as a friend then not at all so I held back. I couldn't stomach the idea of you together, I just kept my brave face on hoping that I would be over you by the time you got back and then you came back and I wasn't over you. I wasn't over you, Yoon Ji-Hoo." Jan-Di's voice broke on a small sob and with it Ji-Hoo's heart. "I love you too." Jan-Di cried. Ji-Hoo pulled away using his fingers to wipe her tears before pulling her into a gentle kiss, tasting of salt.
"Don't cry, my darling. Everything is fine." Ji-Hoo said. Jan-Di sniffled trying to pull herself together. "I am sorry, I made you cry again."
"I'm fine. I am just a little overwhelmed." Jan-Di took a deep breath, shaky on the exhale. "Let's get some tea, yeah?"
"Yeah. It'll be my treat." Ji-Hoo tucked Jan-Di's arm in his and together they walked to his motorcycle.
*******************************************************************************************
So what did you think? a very niche pairing in a very niche fandom. It was just to make me feel better. This will be part of a series: The Miscellaneous Adventures of Geum Jan-Di and Yoon Ji-Hoo.

Boys Over Flowers
Tumblr media
It is an easier question to ask who has not started their Korean-drama-journey with Boys Over Flowers.
Tumblr media
I still remember as if it was only yesterday when I first started this k-drama. I do not even remember who recommended it or how I happened to watch exactly this one among ll the possibilities. All I know is that it was the best decision regarding my entertainment life I have ever made.
Tumblr media
I have liked the story so much (even if my rational mind knows it is exaggerated and ridiculous at times) that I have watched all of the versions, from the original to the recent Chinese version. The only one I have not finished is the Taiwanese, which if I am not mistaken is the first version. Jan Di fighting against social classes and her lack of interest in material things was refreshing and caught my attention.
Tumblr media
When I hear the phrase “Boys Over Flowers” the lyrics “Almost paradise...” start playing dramatically in my mind, and I can almost hear Jan Di screaming Gu Jun Pyo´s name in distress whenever he messed with her.
It was such a rollercoaster of emotions. It was the first k-drama, and having so much happen to Jan Di at school, then when she and Gu Jun Pyo start dating to have his mother oppose it, the rich girls trying to tear them apart, the other girl who fell in love with Gun Pyo...it was all so dramatic and....well, amazing.
Tumblr media
Hye Soo´s acting was not outstanding but I still enjoyed it enough to watch the entire show.
Tumblr media
How could I forget the show that introduced me to Lee Min Ho? I have watched most of the dramas he has made. He is great and very handsome. He was hilarious as Jun Pyo. The hairdo will always make me laugh very hard.
Tumblr media
The second lead was beyond great. I was rooting for them, and who could not? We all wanted So Yi Jeong to quit his player ways, which obviously did not make him happy, and to be with Ga Eul. They were cute and he saved her from jerks who were trying to humiliate her.
Tumblr media
I do not find Kim Hyun Joong attractive, as many seem to do, but I did enjoy him as a second lead. Yoon Ji Hoo was always there for Jan Di and always tried to help her and in the end, sent her to Jun Pyo knowing that would make her happy.
Tumblr media
The ending, with Jan Di trying to make her way in the world on her own and the F4 always around her was very sweet and gave a warm ending to the beloved show.

hi mousie, can you recommend any kdramas that are like, a hot mess and have a lot wrong with them but also really addictive and hashtag worthit?
Ooooh, Boys Over Flowers has your name on it. It’s horrible as an adaptation (which is extra amazing since they had other adaptations to look at for guidance), the script goes insane at some point and never recovers, the writer decides she is obsessed with Kim Hyun Joong and starts distorting the narrative to make his character the focal point perfect character. Half the actors don’t bother to act. The characters do the 180s that make no sense. Jun Pyo becomes a spineless wonder (the one truly positive characteristic of the manga original was his inability to ever give up on his OTP) and Jandi, whose original was the ultimate tough girl, somehow goes from a champion swimmer to someone who needs to be rescued from three feet of water by a man with water phobia (that about sums up everything you need to know about the drama.) And yet it was addictive and terribly fun. There is no earthly explanation for it.
The King Loves - Yoona doesn’t bother acting. Turning the psycho king of the novel into fluffy bunny suitable for fangirls makes the whole narrative creak. The love triangle drags on past all endurance and the politics are infantile. The fact that it’s written by the amazing Song Jina adds insult to injury. But it’s so very petty and Hong Jung Hyun as a reserved kingly bodyguard of sorts who also has a claim on the throne and falls for Yoona is lady catnip, the OTP I root for is the endgame, and it’s all so addictive like that fun trashy shoujo manga you hide under a pillow.
East of Eden aka Giant’s less coherent but more entertaining older brother. 60+ eps of family revenge going through the early days of Korean republic involve some bizarre writing. Some characters make you wonder why they are there - Lee Da Hae’s character was supposed to be the heroine and center of love triangle between two brothers; instead they dithered so long with her introduction, both brothers never went for her at all; why they don’t just kill the bad guy and save themselves years of misery nobody knows. At some point they decide that a torturing rapist should be redeemed and get the object of his fixation because he’s really really sorry and is hot. There are random gangsters. IT IS HELLA AWESOME AND FUN AND ADDICTIVE AND MAD. The main OTP (that was not supposed to be canon) is amazing - she is a mob princess and he’s a low-level gangster who is out to avenge his family. The plot is complicated and satisfying. Yeon Jung Hoon is righteous hotness as tormented prosecutor. The cast is basically A-list who is who. The outfits! I love this insane drama!
Moon Lovers - what do you do when you remake Bu Bu Jing Xin, remove all nuance and complexity and understated elegance and make it a crazy shoujo manga instead? The soundtrack is awful. Half the cast wouldn’t know how to act if you put a gun to their heads and in any event their roles would be hard for a master thespian to pull off. The heroine is the most inconsistent, vacillating heroine you will see in forever. BUT! It’s gorgeous, it’s set in Goryeo, and Lee Jun Ki owns the whole drama, playing a tortured bloody hero straight out of my romantic fantasy (OK, I have issues, we all know that.) The love story is awesome despite the heroine (yes, truly) and it brought me back out of an epic drama slump. They mixed crack into the reels, I swear.

Meteor Garden 2018
Tumblr media
So, originally I wasn’t going to post anything about this new drama until I’d watched at least the first 6 episodes that were released on Netflix....
But here I am, having a binge on this show on a fricking work night when I should be going to bed. It’s only episode 3 AND I HAVE THINGS TO SAYYYYYYY
Tumblr media
Let’s talk about the good stuff so far-
The lead characters are CUTEEEEEE. The girl is freaking adorable, she’s no Barbie Zhu, but I am happy with her being cast. All of F4 are adorable babies, and Si is just plain HOTTTT (see above).
I may be jumping the gun, but so far, it isn’t so hokey. Not like the last few reincarnations of the show.  I mean, we can all agree that the Japanese and Korean versions were a bit INSANE with the situations and so far, this is a nice breath of fresh air.  Of course, I haven’t yet hit the part where he gets amnesia or she almost dies or anything, but still I have hope that the toned-down nature of this remake will continue.
Si is also more likable in this version.  Usually his character is grating on my soul, but in this drama he is just ridiculous and a bit on the dim light bulb side of things.  Not being mean to him, but I like it.  It seems to me like it’ll be easier for him to eventually come to love her and rack up some IQ points in the real life department.
Lei is also wonderful in a way.  His character is always so aloof and distanced, like it should be, but in this drama, he is also tender and acts like he hides how much he actually cares.  I’m torn between hoping for Second Lead Syndrome like we all had in Boys Over Flowers and hoping that it’s a more tame situation like in Hana Yori Dango. Only time will tell, I guess. I think I may be leaning a little toward SLS though lol
Tumblr media
Now, onto the parts that I could live without-
Her bff is driving me crazy.  It’s like, he is a character that they didn’t really need but inserted in there anyway.  I’m wondering if the bad friend is going to show up any time soon; you know- the girl with the short hair that pretended to be Jan Di’s friend in BOF, the one that was only her friend because she had something to prove to Jun Pyo.  If this guy is supposed to be her replacement, then I am hella disappointed.
....Truthfully, that’s really the only thing bothering me right now, and I hope nothing gets added to that list lol
Tumblr media
So cheers to the new show, and I’ll keep y’all updated as I watch!!! Once we get to the end, expect a full write up because THIS IS MY FAVORITE DRAMA SERIES EVER AND I’M PUMPEDDDDDDDD!!!! <3
