Propaganda Beneath the Cut

Molly and Scratch

(TGAMM SPOILERS)

They have a Toptier friendship development arc. Basically, Molly moves into the house Scratch is haunting and to get rid of her, Scratch curses her but the curse is actually on him as he is now STUCK with the McGee's until the move out.

Scratch spends the first three episodes trying to make Molly's life miserable but her toxic positivity overtakes. At some point, Scratch even feels bad about ruining the turnip festival as it will completely crush Pete, Molly's dad. Of course he has to in order to avoid the flow of failed Phantoms.

Scratch ends up really liking Molly and her family to a point where he challenges Libby (Molly's human best friend) and even sticks around after the curse is broken. THEY MUST WIN!

Sogo Tokiwa and Geiz Myoukouin

(spoilers)

Geiz originally came from the future to kill Sogo, as Sogo was destined to become a cruel overlord. As time goes on, Geiz begins to grow fond of Sogo. He goes back and forth between being against Sogo to being with Sogo but eventually Geiz declares they are friends. Later Geiz can be seen saying that he wishes to stay in the current era because he wants to build a new future with Sogo. He wants to stay in this era with Sogo and truly believes it's where he belongs. Upon his death he tells Sogo that he was happy to have been his friend and that he enjoyed their time together. It's devastating and heartbreaking, because Geiz cared so much and so did Sogo. On the topic of Sogo, Geiz held significance as Sogo grew up without having friends and was incredibly lonely. Of course he makes other friends besides Geiz but Geiz is the one he reaches out for the most and the one he believes in the most. When the timeline is eventually rewritten, Geiz and Sogo are still best friends even if they have no memory of the fights they fought side-by-side.

Just in time for Shin Kamen Rider day here in the US.

Three gorgeous Figuarts, straight off the shelf-- no, seriously. I'm not in any rush to pull their accessories from my organizers, so these are exactly as you'd see them in my display.

Zi-O might be my favorite modern season. I know that's sacrilege to some, especially for a season that came right after Build (which I still haven't finished) - but I loved everything about Zi-O.

Great cast, fun tech, wonderful designs. It's a story that dares to ask: What if the dumbest boy on earth was also the greatest calamity reality has ever seen? And what if he was too much of a silly goose to every truly turn evil?

And, as you can clearly see, I have a favorite character.
