You were typing away on your desk, when you suddenly heard your stomach rumble, interrupting the otherwise silent office with this obscene sound. One look into your bag let you sigh however, not seeing your usual lunchbox in there which meant its still standing on your kitchen counter where you put it this morning, great. The vibration of your phone threw you out of your thoughts and a smile crept onto your lips when you saw your boyfriends name illuminated by the screen. “I packed your lunch this morning after you've left… you should be on break time now, right?” you read the message in your head and your heart skipped a beat at how thoughtful Benkei was. The gym was across the city so he made all the effort to make sure you get your food.

After you answered him, you let the secretary know that your boyfriend is coming in any minute and to please take him to your office. Not even five minutes laterne stood in the door with a cheeky smile “Delivery service” he chuckled and handed the small lunchbox to you before taking his own out. “You have time to eat together?” You asked surprised and he shrugged “technically i don't but the gym can stay closed for a little bit longer if i get to spend time with you” he hummed before he started digging into the food in front of him. It wasn't anything special, just the leftovers from your previous dinner, but with his company that didn't matter, making it a five star dish.

While the two of you were chatting about the day you found yourself marveling at the man in front of you, realizing just how much you love him. “So, what do you think?” he asked curious to which you shook your head slightly, waking up from the trance like state “i love you” you blurted out, much louder than intended which made him laugh “I love you too,sweetcheeks… But i wanted to know if you'd like to go grab a drink with the guys and their partners tonight” He chuckled, although a blush crept its way onto his cheeks. Sheepishly you giggled and nodded this time “yeah, that'd be great” you hummed, looking forward to spend time with your friends.

A little while later your lunch break was coming to an end and Benkei stood up with a sad smile “Gotta head back now before Wakasa notices im not getting lunch” he said amused and leaned in to press a small kiss to your lips and saying his goodbyes.

As you watched him walk away, the smile that appeared on your lips the moment he entered the room only grew bigger, a warm feeling spreading inside of you. This was the very man you wanted to spend the rest of your life with.

- shin is very open about his feelings, to the point where it's not even really a secret that he likes you — especially if you're close friends with him, there's a good chance you know already ahaha

- i think he's the type to get flustered whenever you initiate physical touch, even if it's accidental

- one time at the bike shop you unknowingly brushed your hand against his when you passed one of his tools to him and he literally thought about it for the rest of the day

- he's so touch starved </3

- his friends constantly make fun of him for the way he acts around you, while his siblings tell him you're way too pretty for him and out of his league

- he really can't catch a break💀

- shin gets upset if he finds out another guy likes you too, and he can't help but feel jealous whenever you laugh or smile more around the other guy than you do with him </3

- he really wants to impress you, he likes telling you stories from his black dragon days and goes into detail about all the fights he got into — he definitely over-exaggerates them a lot though and leaves out the parts where he got his ass handed to him💀

- if at any point he overheard you say you hated smokers he would literally try to quit just for you, or at the very least put out his cigarettes and avoid smoking when you're around him

- he’s such a cutie, he secretly watches those youtube videos titled ‘how to be a good boyfriend’ and ‘how to get your crush to like you back’ </3

- whenever shin notices you're nearby he subconsciously starts fixing his appearance — he’ll straighten his posture and run his fingers through his hair, he always wants to look his best in front of you

- if you ever compliment his cologne he makes sure to wear extra when he knows he's going to see you that day, he also likes to spray it on his hoodies and jackets and offers them to you when it's cold

- speaking of which, his heart literally skips a beat whenever he sees you wearing his clothes, it makes him feel like you're already dating and he can't help but start daydreaming about what it might be like being yours </3

- shin really wants to ask you out, but after being rejected so many times before he can't help but worry that you'll reject him too — however he eventually decides to take the chance and tell you how he feels, it's not as if you haven't already caught on anyway

- if you reject him he'll obviously be super upset, way more upset than he was after any of his previous rejections, but to be honest he was probably expecting it </3

- on the other hand, if you accept his confession he’ll be very caught off guard after being turned down so much in the past, but he'll be super happy nonetheless and won't be able to stop bragging to his friends and siblings that he finally has a girlfriend, and how he's so lucky that he gets to be dating someone as amazing as you <3

: ̗̀➛ wakasa

- waka isn't very vocal about his feelings towards you, and therefore he’s pretty good at hiding it to the point where almost no one would suspect that he liked you — but that's not to say his friends haven't picked up on it by now

- they constantly catch him staring at you, and he's really not as subtle as he thinks he is, half the time he's not even paying attention to them when they're talking to him because he's too distracted by how pretty you are

- if you end up noticing him staring he likes holding eye contact with you until you get shy and look away, he thinks it's adorable and it makes his heart flutter seeing you all bashful <3

- he usually has the same deadpan expression and rarely shows any emotion, but when you're around he's like a completely different person — he's noticeably more expressive and talkative and he smiles more often when he's with you

- he’s so in love </3

- waka is also considerably more touchy and clingy with you — it doesn't seem like anything out of the ordinary to most people, but if you pay close attention you’ll start to notice that he's always looking for the opportunity to sit next to you and be close to you wherever he can <3

- his love language is definitely physical touch, and he likes brushing his fingers against your skin and leaving fleeting touches whenever possible — he’ll feign innocence and pretend it was an accident but in reality he's totally doing it on purpose

- as much as waka likes physical contact, he always makes sure to respect your personal boundaries as he'd never want to make you uncomfortable

- he's the type to notice small differences about your appearance, like if you've changed your hair or done your makeup differently

- he pays a lot of attention to you, more than you probably realise <3

- i don't think waka would make a huge deal out of confessing to you, he'd probably either just come up to you one day and tell you straight up or alternatively he might drunkenly blurt it out to you by accident

- if it was the latter you most likely wouldn't take him seriously at first, and so he'd make sure to tell you again once he was sober, as he wouldn't want you to think he was just messing with you because he was drunk

- if you rejected him he'd definitely be humbled, as i don't think he's someone that’s used to being turned down, but he’ll respect your decision of course and hopes that you can still be friends

- now that he's finally struck out with a girl he knows that shin will have something to make fun of him for after years of being teased for his 20 rejections💀

- however if you accept his confession you’ll finally get to see the real waka, he stops holding back and becomes especially clingy and needy for your attention, a side of him that only you get to see <3

: ̗̀➛ takeomi

- omi isn't the best at handling his emotions, especially when it comes to you — at first he was in complete denial about liking you, hoping that if he ignored his feelings towards you that they would eventually go away

- if his friends ever mentioned you or implied that he had a thing for you he would insist that you were annoying and would tell them he couldn't stand you💀

- little did he know they saw right through him, it was pretty obvious how fond of you he was just from the way he looked at you

- i feel like it got to the point where he was so stubborn about it that waka had to go as far as to pretend he was going to ask you out just to get omi to finally admit that he had feelings for you

- omi is the embodiment of being mean to you because he likes you — he's always teasing you and loves to push your buttons to try and get a reaction out of you, he thinks you’re cute when you get mad

- however if you tease him back it catches him completely off guard, he gets all flustered and starts stumbling over his words </3

- you always catch him looking at you from across the room, he tries so hard to play it off as if he wasn't just checking you out but he does it all the time to the point where it's obvious💀

- while omi may struggle with being affectionate towards you, the way he shows you he cares is through doing favours for you, for example by offering to take you home on his motorcycle

- beware of riding with him though because he likes to randomly speed up out of nowhere, you just assume it's because he's a bad driver but little do you know he only does it because he’s hoping you’ll get scared and wrap your arms around his waist

- if you do end up clinging to him he’ll more than likely make fun of you for it, but his heart will be racing the entire time — he’s just glad that you can't see his face because he can feel his cheeks getting warm </3

- similar to waka, if he was going to confess to you he wouldn't really make a big deal out of it either, i think he'd just casually mention that he liked you in the middle of a conversation and it would catch you completely off guard

- if you reject omi he’ll actually be so embarrassed, i feel like he'll immediately change the subject and act like nothing happened because he doesn't know how else to handle the rejection </3

- if you tell him you feel the same he might get a little cocky about it initially, but deep down he's just so relieved you didn't reject him — despite the confident front he puts up he was actually really nervous to tell you

- he probably tries to give dating advice to shin as if you two haven't only been going out for a few days💀

- benkei is such a sweetheart, but even more so when he has feelings for you

- i feel like he's the kind of person who just admires you from afar when he likes you — especially if you're close friends, he definitely doesn't have any plans to tell you as he wouldn't want to risk ruining the relationship you two already have </3

- although he doesn't want to outright tell you how he feels that doesn't mean he won't drop small hints here and there

- for example, he always offers to walk you home even if it's completely out of his way, and if you’ve forgotten your jacket when it's cold out he’ll drape his own over your shoulders as soon as he notices you shivering <3

- he’s also very protective over you, especially when you go out to places like bars or clubs — he watches over you throughout the evening just to make sure that no one is harassing you, and if someone does end up making you uncomfortable or puts their hands on you without permission he won't hesitate to beat the living shit out of them

- considering how strong he is, benkei is surprisingly very gentle with you

- he always seems to know exactly how you're feeling, and whenever you're sad he’ll engulf you in a big hug, holding you in his arms so delicately like you're made from the most fragile glass </3

- he also remembers a lot of small details about you that you've mentioned in previous conversations, such as your go-to orders from different restaurants or your favourite songs — he claims that he just has a good memory but in reality it's because he loves listening to what you have to say <3

- benkei cares a lot about your safety, whenever the two of you are out together he always walks on the outer part of the sidewalk so that he's closest to the cars, and if you go somewhere by yourself he’ll ask you to text him when you get there so that he knows you're okay

- he loves giving you head pats, especially if you're a lot shorter than him — he thinks the height difference between the two of you is really cute <3

- if you're into working out then he’ll invite you to train with him at the gym and will offer to spot you

- senju always makes fun of him for his crush on you, sometimes she deliberately teases him when you're around to the point where it's pretty clear that he likes you </3

- as i've mentioned, benkei will hint at the fact he likes you but i don't think he'd directly tell you, to be honest if you want to date him you’d probably have to be the one to ask him out yourself

- if you did end up telling him you liked him he'd be very taken aback by your confession, but after the initial shock wore off he'd of course tell you he felt the same way, unable to wipe the grin off his face <3

Kokonoi finished his fifth glass of liquor and took a look at his surroundings. His head was feeling fuzzy and he was starting to feel a little sick. He was never really a fan of alcohol, since it was a distraction from his main goal in life - money. He had to be sober and levelheaded to get as much as possible. But this time it was different. He ruined the best thing in his life and now he was drowning in his thoughts, hoping to come up with a solution to fix his problem.

Just last week he raised his voice at you, but that wasn’t the worst part. All of the anger and stress that built up from Kanto Manji problems made him blind and he let out all of his dark emotions on you. And you just stood there and listened. It wasn’t the first time and you knew it wouldn’t be the last. So without a word you went into his room and took all of your belongings, putting them in a bag.

“What the fuck are you doing?” Kokonoi punched the bedroom wall. His heart was beating extremely fast and he didn’t know what to do.

“What I should’ve done a long time ago.”

And now all he could do was take a picture of a random person and hope that you at least get jealous and decide to text or call him.

Sano Manjiro

Mikey was lost in his own head. He didn’t feel any emotions anymore, numb to everything and everyone. In the moment he felt like it was the best choice for the both of you. You were just a distraction in his eyes and his main goal was to make sure that Kanto Manji would be on top always. So he packed your bags for you and left them in the bedroom. When you came back and saw everything you just shook your head and left with everything that you had. You knew this relationship wouldn’t work for too long. Mikey wasn’t Mikey anymore and you fell out of love a while ago.

Now Mikey sat in the meeting room and stared at the wall in front of him. Once again lost in his own thoughts. But this time they were all about you. He missed you. He needed you by his side. But as much as his hands itched to grab the phone and call you, he still knew that this was for the best. At the end of the day he only caused you pain and put you in danger.

Wakasa Imaushi

You crossed me once, it's fuck you forever

Wakasa’s head was in his hands. There were bottles of alcohol laying around his living room and Benkei was sitting near him, letting out a displeased sigh. Ever since the day he decided to betray Senju and join Kanto Manji Gang, you hadn’t spoken to him. Benkei couldn’t blame you and neither could Wakasa. The both of them knew how much Senju meant to you. She was like your kid. You were the first one to get your Brahman uniform, because Senju cherished you so much. Wakasa tried to get another can of beer, but Benkei stopped him.

“This isn’t going to help you, y’know?”

Wakasa thinks about the day you left. How heartbroken you looked even though you tried to hide your pain. But the glow and pain in your eyes showed different. You called him a lot of different names, pointing a finger at him and calling him a disgusting monster, telling him how he fucked up by losing your trust. And he knew it was true. Earning your trust was a difficult task. And he couldn’t believe that he actually managed to break the bond that the two of you had. You were and still are his world. And to you he’s just a memory.

Arashi Keizo

You could find love, get married, have kids

I'd still be realest to hit it

Benkei was a family guy. He dreamt of having a big family, wether it was by adopting or having his own kids. And he always dreamt about that future with you by his side. But that changed after he joined Kanto. The gang was way different that all of the gangs he has been in before. Except his own. The old Benkei was coming back and he knew it himself. You knew it. Everyone knew it. The blood on his hands and face was a clear sigh of it. And that caused a lot of problems in your relationship. He became cold and distant, making Kanto his priority. After the sixth fight between the two of you in the same week, you packed your bags and left him. The both of you were tired and being together only made it worse. You said that this would only be a break. That you needed to be alone for a while. But Benkei knew the truth. You weren’t coming back.

Shion Madarame

Shion was enjoying himself after the breakup. He went to clubs with the Haitani brothers and Hanma, he did random drugs people gave him, he had one night stands. It was fun at first, doing everything he thought about doing while in a relationship with you. He was free, no one was stopping him from anything. He didn’t have to message you or call you, he didn’t need to see your angry face when he came back late, or missed a date. But after a while it got lonely. He had everything he ever wanted, but there was no you in sight. He missed the feeling of your arms around him, he missed how worried you always were when he came back home bruised and bloodied.

And while there was a person laying next to him after another one night stand it all seemed so dark and quiet. He turned his head to the side and took in the features of their face. They were similar to you. Not exactly the same, because no one could ever be you. But right now it was enough. And then something clicked in his brain. He’ll never have you again.

Kakucho

When it came to havin' your back, I'm so real

I prolly would've gave you my spine

You were Kakucho’s world. You were there when Izana was alive, you were there after his death when he was in the hospital. You were with him when he was beat up by South and had to join his gang and you were there when he joined Kanto. No matter how many stupid and dangerous mistakes he made, you were always there. You extended a helping hand towards him with the biggest smile on your face. But he was so lost in the gang life, he didn’t see how he never really did the same to you. He always left you hanging. And now he couldn’t turn back time and change the things he did. How cold he treated you. A few tears run down his face and he hopes you can forgive him. He knows you won’t take him back, but he still wants you to know that he only wishes the best for you.

Mochizuki Kanji

I'm as solid as they come, but you crossed the line

Mocchi was always known as a scary guy. His build and height increased the fear for other’s. But he never scared you. No matter how many people he beat up with ease, how he could easily break you without even trying. You never feared him. You held respect towards him, knowing his life wasn’t easy. And with that knowledge he used you. He used your love, since he knew you would do anything for him. But what he didn’t know was how you knew all of that. 𝑠𝑢𝑚𝑚𝑎𝑟𝑦: It all broke her. Her first relationship which was really toxic and her parents. She used to be so bright and happy. But, it all changed once she got into her very first relationship and when her parents got into debt. Her parents sent her to get into working despite only being in high school. It all nearly killed her. Her mind broke, causing her to go numb and feel nothing, almost like a doll. She felt like a doll, a toy someone could play with and then throw away when they were not satisfied anymore. Her expressionless demeanor and dull eyes gave it away that she was done with it all. She didn’t believe in love or anything that involves emotion. It was all drained from her, leaving her empty.

When it comes to relationship’s Shin is the most honest and sweetest person to ever date.

Last time y’all two decided to try on, uniforms to do cute photos at the theme park. Due to Wakasa height you can say he took advantage of the student discount they gave him.

You often hang out with both Benkei and Wakasa around there gym.

If a guy where to ever approach you randomly in the gym just know that, you’re boyfriend is gonna be restrained by Benkei because you can’t attack you’re costumers.

When it comes to dating Taekomi he can sometimes come of as person who is to self absorb.

His friends try to warn him, about his behavior but he tends to not listen and thinks that there wrong.

Despite his sexist attitude he’s extremely prideful and prefers, to pay for his partner stuff saying that a man should all ways try to provide for his significant other.

Since he’s so prideful you decided to take this ad advantage just to mess with him, or get back at him.

Taekomi regrets his pride getting to him at times, because now he has to do what you saw or he will look like a wuss in front of Senju and sanzu.

While you’re dating to Taekomi you become an unofficial older sister to Senju. ( please I fell like this girl needs a girl best friend)

All though sanzu might not be in the picture, you fell bad for what happened to him and wish that they where still close.

Taekomi thinks that he wears the pants in the relationship because he tries to do stuff, that a man supposed to quote on quote do.

But in fact it’s you who wear the pants in the relationship, you’re not shy to approach problems and solve it hand on hand. You’re both feminine and masculine.

You put Taekomi in his place and if he where to act up, just know that his friends and siblings have front row seats to watch him fail.

Sanzu secretly loves the fact you put his older brother in his place he wishes that he became close to you, but since he had to be with Mikey you knew that was not possible.

At the end off the day Taekomi may or may not change due to you’re influence on him.

waka doesn't even think about the fact you might be changing, opening your door and casually walking into your room without bothering to knock first. he isn't prepared for the sight in front of him, his eyes instantly landing on your bare figure and he can't help but smirk in amusement as he watches you attempt to cover yourself with your hands. waka might tease you about it a little, suggesting that you did this on purpose and how it was like you wanted him to walk in on you since you didn't even bother to lock the door, and if you weren't in such a vulnerable position you'd honestly want to slap him. of course he’ll leave as soon as you ask him to, he doesn't want to make you uncomfortable after all, although he can't help but find himself stealing one last glance at your body before he closes the door. he's had a thing for you for so long now, having imagined what you might look like underneath your clothes countless times before, but none of his fantasies could ever compare to the real thing. waka can't stop picturing your body underneath his, imagining all the things he wants to do to you.

omi will roll his eyes and sigh, acting like this entire situation is somehow your fault despite the fact he was the one who walked in on you. he scoffs at you when you tell him to get out, abruptly turning around because he knows he'll be tempted to look at you otherwise, and he doesn't want you figuring out just how much of an effect you have on him. not to mention he can feel his face getting hot and refuses to let you see the blush spreading across his cheeks, knowing that you’ll never let him live it down. omi snidely tells you that there are locks for a reason and you should learn how to use them, before shutting the door behind him just a little too loudly. despite having been around countless naked women before, he's actually super embarrassed by the whole situation and he feels like an idiot for entering your room without knocking. he holds the bridge of his nose between two fingers as thoughts of your body occupy his mind, and he mentally curses at you for making him feel this way. omi can't get that image out of his head for weeks, jacking off to the thought of you more times than he'd like to admit.

benkei is very respectful of your privacy, so it's unlikely that he would come into your room without knocking or asking for permission to enter first. however, for the sake of this scenario let's just say that this time you didn't hear him, and so he assumed it was okay to come in since he didn't hear you say otherwise. he’s very flustered upon seeing you undressed but manages to keep his composure, refusing to let his eyes wander as he averts his gaze elsewhere, uttering a small sorry and gently shutting the door again. benkei is so quiet about it that you probably wouldn't have even known he'd walked in on you if you weren't paying attention. he’ll apologise to you properly about it later, saying how sorry he is and that what he did was a complete accident. he's so sincere that of course you forgive him, telling him that the both of you can just forget it ever happened, to which he agrees. but what you don't know is that benkei finds himself getting bricked up to the thought of your body later, and he knows seeing you like that just made trying to get over his crush on you a hundred times more difficult.

Taiju Shiba X Reader

Letting him go Prequel/Sequel

He sits on the rooftop bench of their old high school as he admired the sky knowing that she’s finally happy and at peace. She used to follow him everywhere. And even though he was irritated at first he grew to like the way she only had her eyes for him even though he wasn’t able to show it. He always had intentionally leaded her here. The first time he kissed her was here as well. He softly smiles as his eyes went to the wooden fence that holds one of his precious memories. He stood up and went closer to it. He squats down and touches the particular fence he never forgot. 

“Hurry the fuck up I have a meeting to attend.” He says as he takes off his school tie while he glares at her. She smiles at him and cupped his face with her hands. He was taken aback and he wasn’t able to do anything. 

“Just watch. I want to have many babies with you and I want you to be mine forever so…” She pulls out a small lock and key from her pocket and a wide grin on her face appears.

“What the fuck are you even saying?” He says confused. She turns the lock to the other side revealing his name and her name. Their names were perfectly carved on cursive and he can’t help but to smile when he remembers how happy she was to have that lock. But his smile soon faded when he remembered the thing he did after she proudly showed that lock to him.

“Don’t fucking waste my time again with this kind of stupid shit.” He says as he harshly grabbed the lock from her hand and throws it away from the rooftop.

“Taiju why would you do that?” Her eyes waters as she looks down from the rooftop trying to search for the lock she was proud to have had. He didn’t answer her and left her alone. Taiju’s heart breaks. He regrets everything. If only he had been able to love her like she did.

He grips on the fence tears threatening to spill from his eyes. He was about to leave when a carving caught his eyes. He moves his head closer to the fence examining the faint carving.

“I will get Taiju Shiba no matter what.” He traces the words. He wasn’t able to control his tears anymore and he lets it spill. He chuckles at her for being too silly. Everything she did was for him. He grips on the fence missing her. Missing the way she smiles at him. Missing the way she loved him unconditionally. He miss the way she dances when she’s happy. The way she runs to the front door to greet him after work. He misses everything that he had lost.

“I…. I’m sorry.” He looks up to the sky that reminded him so much of her. Clear and bright. Birds fly freely. And his eyes landed to the most beautiful one and he saw it as her. He smiles through his tears knowing that she’s free of the burdens he gives her. 

“Taiju.” A woman’s voice came from behind him. He turns his head to see her friend.

“I’m sorry. I. I had my men tracked you. I didn’t have the guts to go back to her house. I just can’t bear the pain.” Her friend who desperately tried to pull her away from him hands him a gorgeous book and a voice recorder.

“She loved you. Truly. She knew you were bad for her but she loved you more than she loved herself.” She wipes the tears from her eyes before leaving the man that took her precious friend away from her. 

He opens the book that smells like her.

“I trust you with my secret because you’re my friend. I’m so sorry for putting you through a painful part of your life but will you do me one last favor and read this in a place where I was the happiest?” 

The first page says and he nodded as he wipes his tears. He stood up and went to the ocean he knew she would love.

The hearing is the last sense to die in the human body. So when she saw the ocean she loved the most she tried to fight and listened to him. She was content and happy to know that he was willing to take her into the place she loves the most. She was also happy to know he’ll always hold her hand and never pulls away from her again. She didn’t fight anymore because at last she got what she wanted. She had the man she loved until her death love her back. He didn’t let her go. He had her in his arms until they were found by her father. He didn’t let her go for days and continued whispering the things they would do when she opens her eyes again. He promised her everything but nothing was enough to make her comeback. 

He drove for hours on ends and got into the ocean just as the sun starts to sets. He sat on the sand not caring if he gets wet or dirty. He open the book as the cool breeze hits him.

“Taiju. Where do I even begin with him? You know that I love him right? I don’t even know if I just love him anymore. I want to hug him every time I see him and I just want to be in his arms 24/7. I know that he doesn’t like me yet but I’ll do my best to be enough for him. 

February 12th” 

“He definitely has a temper but nothing that I can’t handle. His birthday is coming up soon!!!!! And I can’t wait to present him the most beautiful rosary I’ve ever seen. When we get married I’ll tell him the tradition of going to church five days in a row before Christmas Day. My grandmother says that when we do that God grants our wish! And my wish is to be happy with him and our kids. I can’t wait to have kids with him. I’m sure they’ll look adorable because their father is adorable. I can’t stop thinking how our family will be. I know he’ll be a good father because deep down he’s a good man.

December 12th”

“My birthday is coming up and I know he doesn’t know that but I wish to god that he’ll dance with me. 

August 1st” 

He reads her wishes and hopes that never came true. Not a single page missed him. She was always thinking of him. Not once did she forgets about him.

“I love him. And I know I’m hurting him. He’s not happy with me. He’s never been happy with me. I know that he’s suffocating. He’s been suffocating for years. But how can I let go the man I’m willing to live for? Every time he looks at me I can’t help but to feel broken and empty. He doesn’t love me and he will never love me. I’m destroying him. I’m destroying his heart. I’m so sorry Taiju. I’m so sorry. I know that he loves her. His eyes lights up whenever he sets his eyes on her. She makes him alive while I kill him. I wanted to make him feel alive but all I do is destroy him. All I do is destroy everything. I destroyed him because I couldn’t be happy without him and enough is enough. All I want is for him to be happy. And his happiness is her. He’s been miserably cage for years with me and I’m setting him free. 

July 22nd”

That was a week before her death.

“I guess this is goodbye. I know that there’s little to no chance of him reading this but. 

Hi, love. If you ever feel any pain of me being gone just know that I’m fine. I’m always fine as long as you are. I’m gonna tell you a few things I haven’t been able to tell you. First, I like the smell of your hair. Second, I like your eyes. They always reminded me of the ocean. Third, I always imagine having seven kids with you. Fourth, if we meet again in the other life will you let me love you again? No matter how many times you turn me down I’ll chose you over and over again. It’s silly of me to hope that you’ll chose me at least one time. But remember the avengers won once against Thanos and I’m taking all the chance I get;)” He chuckles while his heart stung in pain. 

“I couldn’t help myself but to think all possible future with you. The most silly one is us living on an isolated island surrounded with sunflowers. We live on a big cottage and our children roams around the island while I cook and you fish. I mean how silly is that? You fishing? And me cooking? Neither of us can do what I dream of but I love that imagination the best because in that…. We were in harmony and peace.

If you ever feel sad or down. Just remember I’ll always love you wherever I am. There’s no one that will replace you in my heart.

And can you do me one last favor love? Can you play the voice recorder if you happen to have found it?” 

He push the voice recorders button and a familiar voice laughed. The voice he misses more than anything.

“If you ever played this then I’m probably dead. Taiju. Don’t be sad okay? Maybe you won’t be sad but if you’re sad don’t be. I don’t resent you. How can I resent you you’re the best thing that ever happen in my life. I love you. I love you and I love you. Here’s an embarrassing story of mine to make you laugh. This is like legit embarrassing and this took me months to recover from. I took too many laxative before going to school because I was constipated and I shit myself on the train. It was horrible for normal people but I was just like meh. It was so gross. Then I threw my pants away on the subway stations toilet and went home like nothing happened. Did that make you laugh? I hope it did.” 

He laughs through his tears nodding like she was in front of him telling the story herself.

“Can you please do me one last favor before I say goodbye?” 

“Smile for me Taiju. Your smile lights up my dark soundless world.” **************************************************************

Wakasa Imaushi smirks at his friend's antics; a lollipop stick rolls around in his mouth, dancing with his tongue. ‌ Laughing as you hear Waka and Shin argue across the store about his nonexistent love life. "Shin, I'll just start dating you if it gets that bad!" With a plastic bag in hand, you cross back over while shouting. 

Shin dips his head ‌in‌ ‌disappointment. “Thanks, Y/n, but I don’t need your pity dates. I ain’t that pathetic.” As Waka arches his eyebrows, he murmurs, “You sure?” “Waka you asshole! Yes, I’m sure.” He continues to smirk as he reaches for the small bag, only to have his hand swatted away.

“No! None for you, since you’re being mean to Shin.” As you give Shin a black coffee, Waka's voice is laced with mock hurt. “I can not believe what I am hearing. My girl, turning against me?” 

You'll just have to try harder than that, my dear, I'm not 'your girl' Waka, she mockingly glared back at him while pressing the cold carton of blueberry yogurt drink to his forehead, causing him to flinch slightly from the cold.

Shin stands between you two wondering, "Why aren't they already together," and you send him a playful wink that is met with a blank stare. 

Drip drop, gimme what you got, your talk is incredible 

“Ouch, right in the heart, Y/n.” Waka calls out monotonously as he sits down on the beat-up couch in the back of the shop. Looking at Shinichiro through his pale lashes, “Yeah yeah, make yourself comfortable. I gotta finish up with a customer, then I’ll be back.” Shinichiro says, rolling his eyes, leaving to go back to the front shop.

 “So little Miss Y/n, it’s been a while since it’s just been us two together. You usually have someone to hide behind.” You stop sipping your pop to turn and fully turn to look at Wakasa. “And what’s that supposed to mean, Waka?” He can feel the hostility dripping from your voice and seething in your chest.

 “Oh y'know, it's just I don’t know much about you, it feels like you just popped up one day and everyone has been hiding anything about you. I barely know a thing about you, and you’re here basically every day with the Black Dragons." He points this out sharply, making you feel like the words stab into your chest, making your heart pound. 

I’m gonna read your mind, (Big dicks, and big ol’ titties on the sly) 

A curt laugh escapes you, “I don’t know what you’re even hinting at, and quite frankly, I didn’t come here to be interrogated.” Huffing, you walk over to the door, sparing a single glance back at him, before slipping out of the door. 

Shinichiro glances over his shoulder as the back door slams shut, effectively making him jump slightly in his spot. He bids the customer farewell, speed walking to the backroom, “What the hell was that? Was that Y/n?”

Wakasa doesn’t spare a word to Shinichiro, only shrugging his shoulders. Shin squints his eyes at the white-haired man, his mind running to try to think of what could have happened to have your storm off like that. “So you gonna tell me what you did or do I have to get Benkei to fight it out of you?” Wakasa can only scoff at the weak threat.

“Didn’t do shit, I don’t know what you’re even talking about. It's not my fault they had a fuckin’ fit.” He rolls his eyes, sucking the air out of the small carton, and chewing on the straw. 

What are you hiding? White Russians and dirty diamonds 

Days pass before you’re able to return to Shinichiro’s bike shop after the scene you made last time. A small sigh escapes as you push open the heavy door of Shinichrio’s shop.

“Shin?” calls out as you walk through the eerily quiet shop. “I know you aren’t with a girl, Shin!” Again, nothing. Scrunching up your eyebrows as you come face to face with the backroom door. 

Creaking the door open, you peek in, only to see Wakasa and Shinichiro talking, almost whispering to each other. “I know something is up with her.” Wakasa says almost non-chantedly. He slightly scowls at his accusations, “What could they possibly be hiding. Honestly Waka, you’re too paranoid. Ain’t nothing happening with Y/n.” He says sternly. Closing his eyes, Shinichiro turns his back to Waka to head back into the front shop, only to be met with a pair of eyes staring back at him. 

He seems frozen in place until Wakasa comes up behind him, slapping Shin on the back. “You good?” But Wakasa followed suit once he saw you. A black eye is adorned with cuts and a bruised cheek had both men in utter shock. “What..the fuck” Wakasa whispered out as you cringed under their stares. The blue and black bruises decorated your body, but it had become such a common occurrence that you were used to the pain. But you weren’t used to hiding it. 

You fake your shyness, i just wish that I could see through you 

Fights usually aren’t this brutal, but of course, your members had to go piss off some Kenryu members. Not wanting your gang to seem weak or in lower ranks, you stood up for your members. But when a weapon comes out, the fight is never fair.

You can still remember the jaw-breaking pain when the crowbar connected with your face. A metallic taste sits in the back of your throat after the fight. Never having someone to come home to was never a problem, you knew how to care for yourself. 

But new friends? A stoic gym owner, a hopeless romantic mechanic, a gang leader with a cigarette influence, and a teddy bear of a personal trainer-previous gang leader. People who make you feel at home, could exist. That warmth and being cared for are human needs. People that would care for you if you came home beaten to a pulp. 

“Hey hey, fuck, what happened Y/n?” Shinichiro, seemingly the first to snap out of his daze, steps forward with his arms out towards you. He pushes the door all the way open, to reveal you cradling your arms, one seems to be more bruised than the other.

Mumbling out a small “Don’t wanna talk ‘bout it.” Wakasa gulps down some air as he comes back to reality, his eyes widening at the sight. 

His chest feels tight, his mouth dry as his hands clench at his side. Why was this affecting him so much? It’s just you. 

Chat shit, but where’s the real you. 

“What the hell are you thinking?!” Wakasa yells out, heart pounding against his ribcage, he feels like it's going to burst out if he’s not careful. You flinch at his voice that seems to resonate within your body, “Why would you hide this from us!” He clenches his jaw as you and Shin just stare at him, shocked by the outburst. “What else are you hiding from us?!” He screams out, voice already becoming hoarse from the shouting. 

Waterfalls coming out your mouth 

A dry laugh escapes you, as tears fill your lash line. He really has the audacity to say that, “Why the fuck do you think i’d ever trust you! Hah?! You don’t know jackshit about me or my life, you don’t know what I've been through you asshole!” You scream out, tears slipping down your face, making you squeeze your eyes shut in pain of physical and emotional damage. 

Shinichiro stands there confused at the outbursts, as you hiccup, gasping for air to calm down. Wakasa turns his back to the two of you, letting his head hang low. “...my sight.”

Shinichiro steps forward, hand reaching over to grab his shoulder, “Waka, what are you sayin-” “Get the hell out of my sight, bitch! Don’t ever want to see you again, got it?!” Shin steps back at the intensity of his voice, having never heard it before. 

“The hell are you saying Wakasa! Don’t be so rude to Y/n, they ain’t done anything!” He shouts back, stepping in front of you, almost blocking you completely for Wakasa. Big globs of tears roll down your cheeks, silently nodding as you take his words to heart, leaving. 

Days pass by before you even consider going back to Shin’s shop again. You couldn’t risk running into him again. Not after what he had said. How could you even face him? It’s just better to not go altogether. Hideout at your place until you can think of what to do for the long term. 

But that plan lasted all of three days when Shinichiro, Benkei and Takeomi showed up at your door, a bag of medical supplies in tow. “Hey Y/n, how are you feeling?” Benkei asks as he grabs your hand, leading you to your living room couch.

He squatted down as you held out your leg, wrapping a tensor band around your knee. Shinichiro and Takeomi sit down on the couch, watching Benkei, their Black Dragon medic. 

Shinichiro scratches his head as he huffs in frustration, “So you still want nothing to do with Waka? You won’t even talk to him?” Omi raises his eyebrows at your stubbornness. “No, I- ah fuck, I won’t talk to him” Sucking in air through clenched teeth, Benkei finishes the wrapping.

“Can you at least tell us how you got this beaten to shit?” Takeomi mumbles out as he leans back on the couch. Sighing, you recount how you started your own gang. 

Waterfalls tearing your mouth apart 

It was the first year of middle school, as you sat at your desk gazing out at the cloudless sky. The teacher's voice seemed muffled and distant as another pair of voices caught your attention. A girl in pigtails was dragged by her hair across the field by two older girls.

Raising your eyebrows as you ignore the protests of the teacher telling you to get back to class, you walked out down the halls. The voices echoed in your head, but shrugging your shoulders, ignoring it. ‘I ain’t no hero, she can stand up for herself.’. Stepping outside, allowing the soft breeze to brush past, you walk over to the vending machine to grab a strawberry milk drink. 

Those voices resurface again, sounding a lot closer than in the classroom. It seemed to lead a perfect trail to where the pigtailed girl lay on the ground, two upperclassmen standing above her. “Dumb fucking bitch!” One yells out before landing a slap across her cheek, making the girl's face turn to the side as tears prickle her eyes. 

The girl whimpers. “I h-haven’t done anything, please! I don’t d-deserve this!” She sniffles out loud, as both girls laugh at her. “You know what you did, and you do deserve this, fuckin’ slut!” The other girl lashes out, digging her heel into the underclassmen's stomach. The pigtail girl starts coughing violently, and that’s when your patience snaps. 

“Oi!” You yell out, stomping over to the three girls. Rage bubbled up in your chest. Before they could shout out for you to get lost in response, a strong right hook came crashing down on one of the girls' faces. She stumbles back, falling over her feet and looking up at you, terror reflecting in her eyes, as her friend stands next to her. 

Swiping down, you kick the other girls’ legs out from under her, as she fell to the ground. The two upperclassmen looked up at you, as pigtails stumbled to her feet. “Don’t wanna hear anymore shit spewing out of your mouths anymore! Ya got it?!” The two upperclassmen stared like fish out of water, mouths agape and eyes widening. 

Without a word, they scramble to their feet, tripping over themselves and each other as they ran off. You glanced down at pigtails, who were a few inches shorter than you. Raising a hand, you give a soft smile, “Need a friend?”. And the rest was history, it started off with just standing up for the unfair victims and soon turned into a gang of strong females to serve and protect others on the turf of Tokyo. 

Clap clap, you’re a clever, clever cookie now

Wakasa leans against the doorframe as the guys give him a look that says ‘we’ll give you some alone time with her’. 

He had been listening to the whole story, only coming to try to make things up with you. Wakasa couldn’t stand being away from you for so long, it started to hurt and he couldn’t understand why. 

The guys all stood up, making you glance around until your eyes landed on Wakasa; the only one left in the room. “Hey.” He mumbles out, making his way inside as you quickly jump off the couch, only to wince in pain at your leg. Trying to shift the weight off of it, you lose balance, making Wakasa lunge forward to catch you.

“Still as clumsy as ever, I see.” He chuckles, as you lean on his chest, his arms wrapped around your waist to hold you steady. You push off of his chest with a dusting of blush on your face, “Get off me, idiot.” Mumbling out as you lower back down on the couch. 

“What do you want, Wakasa? Can’t you see I'm trying to avoid you?” Refusing to look him in the eyes, he sighs, grabbing your chin, making you face him as the blush becomes more prominent. “Look, can you please just give me a chance to explain myself?” Gulping, you couldn’t even respond verbally, only nodding your head. 

Taking a deep breath to calm his rapidly beating heart, “Look, I was upset when I saw you in that state. I was upset with both of us. Okay? No, no don’t scowl at me, I ain’t done yet.” He chuckles, tilting your head up to hold eye contact,

“I was upset that I had let you get this beat up and I couldn’t do anything to save you. I was upset at you for not letting me in, and letting me take care of you, my darling.” The pet name rolls off his tongue almost too perfectly, in your opinion. 

“Why would you be upset? I can take care of myself, y'know.” Breaking eye contact as you mumble out weak protests. Wakasa leans in closer until the space between you two is almost non-existent. You can feel his warm breath fanning over your face, and you take note of how soft his hand really is. How have you never noticed this before? 

“I know that, but let me take care of my girl for once.” He mumbles against your lips, sealed with a kiss.
