Tempted to have everyone In my MyS rewrite be broke as shit and the Ro’Meaves are the only ones that can afford even their own houses.

Like everyone else is crammed into apartments that aren’t big enough for all of them, half of them are sleeping on their friends couches until they get their next pay check, etc.

Anyone else lowkey realized that in the new 52 Steve Trevor was trying really hard to show he is a character in his own right outside of being Wonder Woman's boyfriend while he and wonder woman were broken up with kindof like how in the Barbie movie Ken had to be broken up with and had to realize he is enough by himself and needs to figure himself out.

I'm mean golden age steve was secure in himself as a character but it does make me think a bit on some people's impression on silver age steve...and now i'm actually a little worried some of the comics has forgotten alot of that work Steve did to be his own dynamic character while also validating the returned feelings in both ends.

Its also kindof interesting because in the live action Barbieland it actually lowkey reminded me a bit of Marston's view/thought experiment with the amazons and wonder woman and that things would be better if ladys were in charge. or at the very least if people didn't dismiss feminine attributes as less than or weak and saw they were strong...like kindness and mercy and love and friendship ect.

It also makes it more interesting to think about the different adaptations of the amazons in D.C. because some point out the issues of anyone being in charge and looking down on another...while thers let the thought experiment be where it explores the attributes of the feminine not being demonized when running things rather than it actually being about girls vs guys. and others that explore bad implications down any extreme.

It also gets interesting because wonder woman and Steve Trevor DOES actually have Barbie dolls but also that Steve clearly was an equal character that was important...and also kindof interesting because both Diana and Barbie went to 'mansworld' the human world which has trouble with patriarchy and other things and agresion with a kindof simple idea of how things should be or how to fix things and how it messed with the world view bit also seeing beauty in that imperfection and that things can get better if you keep trying.

Though also that Steve had a active roll in that he was important to help make sure anyone who tries to dismiss or take away Diana's feats were put in their place by someone who they couldn't dismiss(as he was a manly piliot/spy who was very skillfull in his own right.

of course i can!! i wrote so many they’re going under a read more, like all of my stuff ^^;;

but to answer your second question, love~love came out during my summer break so it’s stuck with me lol. i love it too much even though, like all seasons, its pretty sucky... i remembered more of season 2 of mcd, i had come in like the middle of s1? and i barely remember s3 haha! so i don’t really have a favorite, it’s more scenes that i like :)

i made changes for fun mostly, some made more sense and some characters had potential and i wanted to explore it on my own? idk, i had problems and went “i can do better than this >:” after seeing a bunch of problems and started writing lol

so jenny used to be a scene girl. her bangs. it makes sense

her bangs still hold the shape, she’s still trying to get them back to what they were in college

jenny has her ears pierced

later in life she gets her tongue pierced as well

she also gets a spray tan every now and then
