Sooo hi :D KP anon. Been a while! (Unless you count tags/readmores on KPAU posts?) I can't do edits rn since I'm busy, but while looking over pics for future edits, I realized something. The thing is, I was originally gonna skip doing merge transformations entirely since I had no idea how that'd even work (visually or logistically) but I got an idea for visuals so now I'm gonna do them eventually. But logically speaking: how do you think KP would work with unification? How would the kwami share?

Oh, trust me, Anon, you are doing an amazing job with what has somehow become a new side blog for you. *grins* I have no idea how you might go about doing a visual representation for unified kwami in the kwami possession AU, unless you mixed and matched the iris/sclera colours from the different kwami (which would be difficult if they happened to be two with a similar colour like your favourite blue) or did one eye each way, so I look forward to seeing what you come up with! 

Logistics-wise, I think it would be situation-dependent.

Since circumstances can change and change drastically, it makes sense that the kwami have more than one way that they can share and that they can shift between different methods as circumstances demand. In a situation where one has more experience with a particular set of circumstances and they can play to their strengths, it’s likely they could essentially assume full control. (For instance, maybe Plagg’s more of an escape artist than Sass, who has more of a silver tongue or is at least more subtle.) This option would be marginally less draining on the Miraculous Holder, as the kwami who is stepping back wouldn’t demand the same amount of resources from the body as they would if they were active, and consequently this method could also be desirable in circumstances where the Miraculous Holder cannot physically take the strain of a dual possession without, y’know, falling into a coma the moment it ends.

When the kwami would need to work together--which, let’s be real, would be often--it wouldn’t be a one side of the body/other side of the body thing. There wouldn’t be any of the associated stumbling or clumsiness that’s more suited to uncoordinated people in a three-legged race than one superhero who is not new to saving Paris. They’re unified, which means they’re already connected, so consciousness could very much be included in that. I don’t mean creepily talking in sync, more stream-of-consciousness with the two different voices that feels natural, like when you’re thinking things through in your head and considering different options. It’s not that they’re splitting duties, exactly; one isn’t paying attention to surroundings while the other comes up with a plan. They’re both very much present for everything that is happening. For instance, they could gain more information in a single glance than one of them could alone, given that they’d be more likely to notice different things. Naturally, this is often a disaster for whomever they’re facing, as more information with quick minds to process it would mean a more efficacious plan in the end. Like single kwami possession, though, they’re also limited because they’re limited by a human body, magically-enhanced or not. If they’re not looking, they won’t see it coming. They might hear it, might anticipate it, but they wouldn’t see it. 

Using a human body to contain kwami magic instead of using the Miraculous as a buffer is dangerous. Dual/multi possession is even more risky to the Miraculous Holder, health-wise. It has a synergistic effect, which is good when they’re fighting--being possessed by more than one kwami means being stronger/etc than the combined effects of being possessed by any single kwami--and awful when they’re recovering, as the toll the possession takes is consequently that much greater. It’s not something that can be fixed by anything but giving the body the time it needs to recover. However, it wouldn’t be uncommon to treat some symptoms with medication to make the recovery easier on the person, as this is less along the lines of a lingering cough and more along the lines of being bedridden for a week (dependent, of course, on how long the person was possessed and how much of that time was by both kwami at once instead of one or the other--and what state the person was in when the fight began, as someone who was well rested and fed would start with more resources than someone who couldn’t sleep most of the night and then fell asleep an hour before their alarm went off and woke up twenty minutes late and consequently skipped breakfast).

Here, have a "Kairi should be a real fighter unlike what canon did to her" AU

Aka the "Kairi Protagonist" AU

[KPAU for short and yes I did that on purpose because Kim Possible and awesome redheads]

Inspired by the "Sora Dies" AU (SDau) made by @xiolette that has the same starting premise: What would happen if Sora died at the end of KH1 when he stabbed himself to save Kairi?

Here's where my take goes:

After Kairi gets her keyblade; seals the keyhole; takes down Ansem, Seeker of Darkness like a champ; and does the whole "Kingdom Hearts is light!" bit in her own way

Kairi attempts to get Riku out of the RoD, but there's something darkness related ready to burst out so there's no time and Riku has to shut the door from the other side

"I already lost Sora! I can't lose you too!"

"You won't, Kairi. Like King Mickey said, we'll find a way back to each other."

Cue the beginning of Kairi taking her own journey through worlds, with Donald and Goofy at her side, both to find Riku and to process grieving for Sora

The three stumble upon Castle Oblivion on that trip

Yeah, being manipulated by the Organization is still a thing, only it's to make her believe Riku hates her and to destroy her spirit (with Repliku as the tool)

In the basement, Riku encounters Kairi's Nobody (aka who we know as Xion) who is being used to try and turn Riku to the darkness

Axel gets super injured by Kairi, and before he can recooperate he runs into Riku and just... Passes out and dies in front of Riku

At the end of all that craziness is when Kairi and Riku find each other again (and happy reunion with the Disney trio)

DiZ would probably be the one telling them about the Organization and about how Nobodies work

Kairi, Riku, Donald, and Goofy become a squad while Mickey is either working with DiZ or actually checking in with his queen at Disney Castle

Meanwhile, on the Organization side of things:

Roxas had his memories from being Sora--emphasis on HAD

A certain amnesiac blonde girl found in Castle Oblivion was forced to surpress Roxas's memories--followed by surpressing her own so she wouldn't remember having done the deed

She undergoes Xemnas's naming ceremony and is named Xiraki (instead of Naminé), and the now memory-less Roxas gets his name

Roxas is Number 13 and Xiraki is Number 14, and both of them have keyblades (Roxas with Kingdom Key and Xiraki with Destiny's Embrace)

They're a trio with Axel

However, when Axel is legit killed in Castle Oblivion, Roxas and Xiraki are sad (as much as they can be as Nobodies)

Either Saïx or Xemnas tells Demyx to basically be the placeholder in their small friend circle to keep them in line (not like he's much good at regular missions, better put him to use somewhere)

Demyx finds himself actually bonding with Xiraki and Roxas while the three eat ice cream and Demyx shows off his music to his two small friends

Luxord later joins them, making a squad

Clock tower gatherings with the four would also include playing card games thanks to Luxord

Hinting at backstory between Luxord and Demyx would definitely happen (also early hinting at Chi era shenanigans)

Luxord knows the truth about the two youngest Nobodies while Demyx doesn't, which will definitely cause rifts later

At one point Xiraki is being bothered by dreams she keeps having of being on an island with two boys she doesn't recognize

Roxas starts having a similar issue and he and Xiraki talk about it

Xiraki and Roxas work together to try to find answers, eventually making their way to Castle Oblivion

This is all I got so far, plus I actually wanna write this out as fanfic so I don't wanna spoil too much lol

Sonic Picks 13 German Army: Terroir Place (2018) Reviewed format: Digital Album released on Genot Centre It's a busy 2019 for me already, but I'm quite enjoying it so far, so now we're onto Sonic Pick number 13 already. This is the album Terroir Place by German Army, released in 2018 by Genot Centre. It's one of the releases that I got for free from the label as part of 4 downloads codes in the package of the IZANASZ tape SPECTRAL CASCADES (reviewed yesterday), a great generous addition that I like a lot definitely. I also received an additional 5th download code from Ondrej from Genot Centre himself after his positive reply to yesterday's review, so many thanks to everyone at Genot Centre! Terroir Place's album download features the 16 tracks of the album in 16-bit/44.1kHz CD quality, as well as the album cover in good resolution. Terroir Place is a much different album from SPECTRAL CASCADES yesterday but definitely carries some of the Industrial and mysterious ambient elements in it however. The album's 16 tracks are mostly short pieces that smoothly move from one to eachother, totalling 46 minutes of music. There is a general lo-fi vibe about all the music on Terroir Place that does indeed recall No Wave music and Minimal Synth from the 80's (mentioned in the album description on Bandcamp), but there is also quite a lot of variation throughout the album and surprisingly slick contemporary sounding tracks are also featured on the album, sometimes sounding like Industrial Techno a bit even. The album kicks off with A Dream Supplanted, a noisy crunchy Plunderphonics tapeloop manipulation that very clearly recalls sounds from The Caretaker / V/Vm and might even sound like one of the vinyl records uses by The Caretaker himself too, but it does form as a nice short intro to this album nevertheless and I like it. Then we have Interact With None which indeed feels pretty 80's Industrial influenced though with a more contemporary consistency in its lo-fi sound aesthetic. Minimalist repetitive distorted drum machine combines with delayed choppy strange male vocals and Japanese sounding ritual bells. It creates a strange kind of peaceful ambience even though the combination of elements seems more rough sounding than relaxing. The slow and minimal melody of the bells carries the music really nicely, great track. The on Uniformed Landscape things get even more ritual with tribal percussion, drone and Eastern melody accompanied by nicely sharp synth sweep, very nicely developing piece. On Control and Modify we can hear a flanged drumloop as well as filtered female vocals that sound a bit like traditional folk music as well as a flanged sweeping synth drone, pretty nice though not as well developed as other tracks. Diffusion of Youth is better though, with its very minimal sound, stuttery drum rhythm, long decaying bell sounds that are also delayed as well as reversed and put through mild saturation. A hypnotizing peaceful track that with its repeating bell pattern feels very comfortable in its vibe. Value and Migration is a short piece featuring an Asian plucked string instrument playing a pretty abstract melody as well as reversed tones and freely moving synth notes, a nice notch of mystery. Mbum Kpau is a quietly brooding piece featuring delayed analog drummachine rhythms, lowpitched vocals, an eerie sounding repeating bass synth melody as well as tense synth sweeps. The drummachine in paticular has an interestingly jolly sound to the patterns (with plenty of ride cymbal action) compared to the dark ambience of the other elements of the track which gives it a unique strange sound. Essentually Equal features fun plunderphonics action and vocal sample repetition that nowadays could fall in the Vaporwave field but the filtered drones in the background give it more 80's kind of sound, quiet danger in the background, like the predator lurking in the jungle. Terroir Place is a great Minimal Synth piece with sharp minimal synth melodies and swishy synth drums (think Kraftwerk: Autobahn) accompanying subdued low male vocals that are performed in more of a spoken kind of style, sounds good. Abipone Opposites sounds surprisingly contemporary in its production with pretty polished sound design in the drums and synths as well as a drum pattern that sounds quite like more minimal Industrial Techno. Tumbling mellow filtered synths fall through the sonic space as the thumping kicks and delayed metallic noises and sharp bass sweeps drive the music forwards. Quite a good combination of Industrial elements with the mellow ambience elements and the tinkling synths that pop up as the track moves towards its end are really nice. Ainu features some excellent distorted and reverberated drums and a hazy mysterious Eastern melody floating around like a cloud in the space which is switched up with a resonant low synth sweep in the second half. Very effective Industrial minimalism that is hypnotic and captivating and well performed, great sound. Spatial Expression is a nicely crunchy and resonant ambient Industrial track with sweet mellow synths but a bit underwhelming, it's got a good sound but feels a notch loopy. Depletion of Moral Resources then is a more urgent sounding Industrial track with some tasty heavily distorted resonant drums as well as tense fuzzy distorted pads in the background, this combined with eerie pitch manipulated voice samples and the constant screechy filter manipulation of the drums makes this track feel quite deep in a dark surreal cinematic way, warning of danger in the distance. Angry Brides is equally dark though more brooding, featuring a resonant drone, a mangled drumloop and doom-laden distorted tones in the background, very good. Adversary Impasse matches jangly distorted and delayed guitar with an Asian percussion loop but also dark and mysterious shifting resonant filtered sonic orbs creating a kind of uneasy feeling combined with the jolly guitar, great creativity in this one. Undernourished is an abstract synth experiment, it's a nice surprisingly closing track in which wild and quirky synth manipulations cut through very mellow chiming synths in the background that almost sound like tropical beach music. A great weird closing track to this varied and refreshingly creative album. Terroir Place by German Army is a great album of experimental / Industrial music that features quite a lot of variation and progression on its 16 tracks and blends 80's inspired sound work with a refined contemporary touch and the quality of the music stays on a high creative level on most tracks. I definitely recommend this album to anyone looking for good experimental music in the Industrial field that is more melodic and songbased or any listeners who want to grow into Industrial music without being thrown in the face with a lot of harshness right off the bat. Orula u Orunmila es el Orisha de la adivinación, el oráculo supremo. Es el gran benefactor de la humanidad y su principal consejero. El revela el futuro a través del secreto de Ifá. Es así mismo un gran curador, quien ignore sus consejos puede sufrir los avatares producidos por Eshu.

Desde entonces se propuso imitar la vida de pobreza y trabajos del fundador de su fe.

Quizás sea Francisco, quien mejor encarne el modelo de la cultura Yoruba.

Orunmila es un orisha.

Con respecto a él se ha creado todo un complejo religioso que lo hace diferente y lo singulariza de los demás orishas. Orunmila y su secreto de Ifa, Orula representa la sabiduría, la inteligencia, la picardía y la astucia que sobreponen al mal. Es el gran benefactor de los hombres y su principal consejero ya que les revela un posible futuro y la forma de influir en el mismo de forma satisfactoria para ellos. Orunmila tiene el secreto de Ifa, el oráculo supremo mediante el cual se comunica con nosotros los seres terrenales.

Orunmila es el orisha sabio, el que puede influir sobre el destino, incluso el más adverso. Tiene bajo su control uno de los cuatro vientos y sus conocimientos médicos son impresionantes. Quien no sigue sus consejos, sea hombre u orisha, puede sufrir las calamidades (osogbu) inducidos por Eshu Elegguá.

El até (tablero de Ifa), mediante el cual se realizan las adivinaciones, fue propiedad de otro orisha anteriormente, Changó (rey de los orishas) y hermano de Orunmila. Changó se lo proporcionó a Òrúnmìlà con autorización de Olofi (Dios supremo) y así obtuvo Orunmila el dominio de los secretos de la adivinación.

Orunmila, dentro de la religión yoruba y afrocubana conocida como «diáspora», es el Elerin Ikpin Ibikeji Olodumare (El testigo de la creación y segundo al mando de Olodumare). Ifá plantea que cuando Olodumare creó la existencia del universo Orunmila estaba ahí como testigo de la creación y del destino de todo lo que existiría.

Los que predicen y adivinan con Orunmila a través de estos oráculos son llamados Babalao u Oluos. Los Babalawos pueden ser hijos de otros orishas pero pueden convertirse en babalawos con el consentimiento de su Orisha padre y seguir el camino de Ifa, comúnmente esto se conoce cuando se le hace el Itá y se comprueba si el religioso no es médium ni de muertos ni de Orishas (no se monta) debe de ser perfecto en todas su condiciones morales si aprueba todo esto y con la responsabilidad del padrino que esto sea cierto puede llegar a ser Babalawo pero para llegar a ser un verdadero Babalawo debe de estudiar lo suficiente para conocer el cuerpo literario de Ifa. en la actualidad existen libros que con información que prestigiados religiosos han ido recopilando y de cierta forma difundiendo la palabra de ifa, pero en el pasado se basaba únicamente en la experiencia y las enseñanzas del padrino hacia sus ahijados. por lo tanto muchos de los secretos se han quedado perdidos pero Orunmila da a los babalawos el aché (àṣẹ en yoruba) o bendición para que sus ebbó tengan el efecto necesario para salvar a todo aquel que pida la ayuda y protección de los orishas.

Los atributos que utilizan los babalawos son el Tablero de Ifá (até, simboliza el mundo), Opele, dos manos de ikines (semilla, nuez de kola), dos oráculos, una pesa y su balanza, un iddé (manilla o pulso de cuentas amarillas y verdes alternos, un cuje de álamo, un irofá (o tarro de venado), con el que se golpea en distintas ceremonias, un iruke (o escobilla de crin de caballo), que se utiliza para limpiar las malas influencias.

Al saber que Oggún había querido fornicar con su propia madre, Obatalá ordenó matar a todos sus hijos varones. Cuando nació Changó, Eleguá se lo llevó escondido a Dadá, para que lo criara. Poco después nació Orula y para salvarlo, Elegba lo enterró al pie de la Ceiba y le llevaba comida todos los días. Un día Obatalá enfermó; Elegba buscó corriendo a Changó para que lo curara. Cuando el gran curandero resolvió el problema de su padre, Elegba aprovechó la ocasión para pedir a Obatalá el perdón de Orula. El perdón fue concedido y entonces Changó lleno de alegría, cortó la ceiba, labró un tablero espléndido y le dio a su hermano, Orula el secreto de la adivinación. Es por eso que Orula dice: «maferefum Eleguá, maferefum Changó».[2]​ Por esto el «ékuele» de Orula lleva un fragmento del collar de Changó. Desde entonces, Orula es el dueño del tablero, el adivinador del futuro, y el consejero de los hombres, y es el intérprete del oráculo de Ifá.

Atributos: Irofa, Iruke, Ékuele con el cual el babalawo cunsulta y Tablero de Orula, que representa el mundo, y con el que se realizan determinadas ceremonias de Ifá.

Bailes: No tiene baile específico, puesto que no se sube, pero se ejecutan danzas en su honor, aunque sin ninguna característica especial.

Sincretismo: San Francisco de Asís, San José de la Montaña (en La Habana y en Santiago de Cuba)[3]​

Orula se sincretiza con San Francisco de Asís (1181-1226). Francisco fue un italiano de padres mercaderes que durante su juventud se involucró en el comercio y en el ejercicio de las armas. Una aparición de Jesucristo le hizo abrazar la vida religiosa. Desde entonces se propuso imitar la vida de pobreza y trabajos del fundador de su fe. Quizás sea Francisco, quien mejor encarne el modelo de la caridad cristiana, del perfecto amor al prójimo y a toda la naturaleza por ser obra del Creador.

Probablemente haya sido ese singular amor por los hombres, la clave de su asociación con Orula, pues fue éste el primer orisha adivino, el que le proporcionó a los hombres el más importante de los dones: la posibilidad de conocer el futuro, y prevenir el mal que los acecha. Por otra parte, ambas personalidades religiosas sufrieron innumerables penalidades y fatigas. Su fecha se celebra el 4 de octubre.

El Trabajo en el Cielo (Patakí Baba Iwory Melli)

Estando en el cielo Iwory era el olodu (apóstol) más antiguo de Orunmila. Él era muy eficiente en el arte y las prácticas de Ifa. Crio a varios sacerdotes celestiales y también tuvo muchos subtítulos trabajando para sí. Sin embargo, era muy engreído; lo cual explica porque eventualmente perdió su antigüedad ante Ejiogbe y Òyèkú Méjì, quienes eran por otro lado mucho más jóvenes que él en el cielo. Hizo muchos trabajos en el cielo aunque estos no están presentes en los cuentos ya que no le permitió a sus seguidores en el cielo que vinieran a la tierra, los cuales hubieran revelado sus trabajos celestiales aquí en la tierra. Sin embargo, algunos de sus trabajos celestiales han sido contados por aquellos que han beneficiado de los mismos.

El título de Eji-koko wòrì en el cielo era kpau yakata, quien hizo adivinación para el Sol, la Luna y la Oscuridad cuando ellos partieron hacia el mundo.

Él le aconsejó a los tres hermanos que hicieran sacrificio de la manera siguiente:

El Sol (Ojo) debía hacer sacrificio con un montón de escobas, tela blanca, gallo blanco y una gallina blanca.

La Luna (Oshupa) debía hacer sacrificio con tela roja, un gallo carmelita y una gallina carmelita.

La Oscuridad (Okuku) debía hacer sacrificio con tela negra, un gallo negro y una gallina negra.

Él les aconsejó que hicieran sacrificio de manera que la gente del mundo pudiera honrarlos y respetarlos, pero más especialmente para que la gente no los pudiera mirar a la cara desdeñosamente.

Lo más importante era que el sacrificio estaba destinado a darle poder y energía lo que los haría indispensables donde quiera que fueran. La luna dijo que él era demasiado popular como para preocuparse por sacrificio alguno. La oscuridad dijo que ya él estaba dotado con los rasgos adecuados para exigir respeto y miedo donde fuere. También rehusó a hacer sacrificio alguno. El sol fue el único que hizo sacrificio. Sin embargo, ya anteriormente la Luna, Oshupa, había hecho sacrificio por amor que es la razón por la cual la gente se alegra cuando ve la luna nueva.

Después de haber hecho el sacrificio al sol se le dio el montón de escobas con el cual hizo sacrificio para que lo tuviera siempre en su mano con el consejo de que debía apuntar a la cara de cualquiera que osara mirarlo de frente. Esos son los rayos del sol que deslumbran los ojos a cualquiera que trate de mirarlo directamente.

Sin embargo, la energía que genera es la promotora de la vida en nuestro planeta al igual que cumple su propósito en el resto del sistema planetario.

A nadie le interesa mucho la oscuridad y a esta, no se le utiliza para ningún propósito tangible debido a que no hizo sacrificio.

Por esta misma razón, a la luna solo se le admira pero ni se le teme como al sol ni se le utiliza con fines A orula se debe saludar todos los días. arrodillado al frente de el, y se le dice: iboru iboya ibochiche orula mi padre y se le pide bendiciones

KP anon again! So I was thinking? about that time Adrien described LB's eyes as bluebell? I looked up bluebells out of curiosity... and I know Ladybug's eyes aren't that color. Marinette's might be, but her hair and eyes change color when transformed--her hair is bluer, and her eyes are grayer I think. It was more noticeable since I did those edits. Got me thinking the glamour must be really strong... and in KPAU, if the eyes did change drastically, I don't think normal people would notice it.

Truthfully, I never looked closely enough to notice her eye colour change, but it makes sense. The glamour would be able to mask a more drastic colour change, too, for that kwami possession AU, and the nicknames alone wouldn’t be enough to tip off ordinary Parisians that anything is different.

Hawk Moth and Mayura, having their own Miraculous, would be a different story, as you say. But just imagine Alya’s reaction the first time it happens to Ladybug or Chat Noir when she’s out as Rena Rouge, because this hasn’t been documented before, and it’s terrifying because Ladybug and Chat Noir have gone down before but never down and out. Granted, their partner is right there, dragging them to safety--and then they’re up again, and seemingly fine, but then they turn around and their eyes--! (She wouldn’t be able to write about it on the Ladyblog, but she would feel fully entitled to a minor panic attack. Carapace has to cover her, and he looks equally unnerved, but at least he didn’t freeze like she did, or they might join one of Paris’s favourite heroes in the kwami possession boat.)
