You and Diego have been friends since you were kids, you guys grew up with each other. He was your best friend and you were his, he always knew he can rely on you for everything and vice versa.

That's all you'll ever be, nothing more just his best friend.

You liked him because aside from being attractive, he was caring, funny, kind and protective of you. You enjoyed watching him practice because he was extremely competitive, but it was mostly because he would take off his shirt mid practice, and you would be blushing like crazy. Or during his soccer match after he scored a goal he would look at you in the midst of the crowd and smile at you, while you stare at him proudly, cheering him on.

However, you had to remind yourself, you'll be nothing more than his best friend. So, you decided to move on, you went on a couple dates with one of your close friends, who was interested in you, you didn't shut down his offer and went for it.

You were hanging out with Diego and Kevin at Diego's house, you were sitting on the edge of the pool, while Kevin and Diego swam.

"I think we should go to the club tomorrow, no?" Kevin said floating in the water. Diego agreed to his invitation, he looked at you and swam to you. "Come with us tomorrow." Diego said as he got near you, you thought about it, but shook your head.

"I can't." He looked at you confused, you don't deny his invitation. "Porque?" Kevin looked at you waiting for your response. (Why)

"I'm going on a date." You replied, you felt his eyes on you. Kevin looked at Diego, you hesitantly looked over at Diego and he had an unreadable expression. Almost as if he was not expecting it or quite displeased with your response.

"I'll leave you guys to it." Kevin got out the pool and made his way inside his house quickly. Diego got out the pool sitting next to me on the edge, you and Diego sat down in silence next to each other. You were too nervous to look at Diego, so you stared at your feet that was playing with the water.

"It's your first time going on a date." You shook your head, he looked at you, but you still weren't staring at him. "So for how long have you been going on dates with this guy?"

"For awhile-"

"And you didn't plan on telling me?" He was mad. You didn't know if he was mad because he was angry at the fact that you kept it from him or if he was jealous. "I didn't think it mattered." You replied.

He scoffs and stands up walking away from you, you were confused, so you stood up walking towards him. "Why are you mad?"

"Because I don't like it." You stopped walking and your heart was beating super fast. "You don't like what I'm confused-" He stops walking and cuts you off.

"I don't like the fact that you're going on dates with some other guy," He turns around to look at you, and you stood there in shock, unable to reply. "I like you, like a lot and I know I may be a bit too late, I'm sorry that I didn't tell you sooner."

"Diego-"

"You are the person who always puts a smile on my face every time I see you. You make me so happy, and I don't want to lose you at all. I was going to ask you if you wanted to be my girlfriend today, I was scared you didn't feel the same way, but fuck it I don't care anymore." He said everything so fast, that it took you awhile to process everything he said. That's all you ever wanted to hear come out of his mouth that he liked you.

"It's okay if you don't feel the same way-" You cut him off by calling his name, and he was breathing heavily. You stand closer to him, since you guys were quite far from each other. He looked at you and glanced at your lips. "I like you a lot too and I would love to be your girlfriend." You tell him with a huge smile on your face.

He had the biggest grin once you said those words, he grabs your face gently with both his hands pulling you in for a kiss. You wrap your arms around your neck getting closer to him, and he moves his hand around your waist pulling you close to him. You moan into the kiss and he takes the opportunity to put his tongue in your mouth. You pull on his hair a bit making him groan. You heard clapping and cheering, and you quickly pulled away from the kiss. Diego's lips were swollen and yours too, you both looked up at Kevin staring down at the both of you, from his room.

"YA ERA HORA," Kevin said and it made the both of you laugh. "I TOLD YOU SHE LIKED YOU PENDEJO." You looked at Diego and he looked annoyed at Kevin putting him on blast. (IT'S ABOUT TIME)(IDIOT)

"YA VETE POR FAVOR." Diego said and Kevin shook his head laughing walking back into his room. (PLEASE LEAVE)

You both looked at each other and he gave you a quick peck making you giggle. "Now let's tell him you won't be going on any dates anymore." You laugh at how jealous he was and gave him a kiss.

We have let Lionel Scaloni and Leandro Paredes get away with TOO DAMN MUCH

That's right. Leandro is half sat ON Scaloni's lap, and Scalo is holding onto Leandro's thigh to keep him there.

You spent the past three days at your best friend's house, your phone kept going crazy with notifications from Diego the first two days.

Hermoso

Please answer me.

I'm sorry amor.

¿Estas bien?

I miss you, can we please talk.

I love you.

I'm ready to talk to you when you're ready.

The last text message he sent was the day before.

I know you are seeing these messages I just want to give you space so I'll stop, let me know when you are ready to talk.

You were ready to talk to him, but you decided against it, because he has acted like this before it isn't the first time. You just finally had enough and snapped, now look where you are at, at your friends house away from your boyfriend.

You sat on her couch moping, your best friend looked at you and sighed.

"Enserio y/n if you are so sad, why don't you go talk to him." You shake your head, a part of you wanted to talk to him, but the other half of you wanted him to see that this was a big issue.

"I'm sure he regrets acting the way he did, by the looks of those texts messages he kept sending you he is sorry." You look at her an you sighed, but still didn't give into the temptation.

"Fine," Your friend went on her phone and was silent the rest of the hour that went by. You got up to go to the bathroom, when you got out to walk back into the living room you saw Diego.

You paused in your tracks, tears welled up in your eyes threatening to slip, but you didn't. He looked restless, bags under his eyes, his eyes red, his hair disheveled, but still looked handsome.

He quickly got up walking towards you, he was about to pull you into a hug, but stopped himself. "Hola amor," You missed his voice, you gave him a small smile still staying rooted to your spot.

"Well I called him over cause you were moping and you guys deserve to talk it out, POR FAVOR don't mess up my house if you will throw things at each other make sure to clean it up after," Your best friend says walking out the house and pauses. "If you guys fuck each other NOT ON THE COUCH please send me a text when you stop because I want to come back home and rest, also change the sheets after I don't want to touch your nasty liquids." She leaves not letting you guys respond.

"How have you been?" he ask and you make your way to the couch sitting down putting your legs up in a criss cross position.

"Good, nomas pensando." You said looking down fidgeting with your fingers, and you can feel his stare burning at you. You weren't't going to make eye contact with him, because you were sure that you would break down at any moment.

"Thinking about what?" He asked.

"What I should say to you." From your peripheral vision you saw him nod slowly, he was fidgeting nervously.

"Pues nomas quiero decir que te quiero mucho y sé que la cagué, invalidé tus sentimientos y pasar el rato con mis amigos y no contigo fue una estupidez, sé que soy un mal novio, la cagué," You sat there looking at him apologizing for what he did wrong, in a blink of an eye he grabbed your hands gently kissing them as if you would slip away at any second. You look up at him with tears in your eyes, and he had tears running down his face. He was broken and he realized what he could lose that such a "small mistake" could hurt you and make you leave him in a snap. he cherished you so much you are the love of his life, he can't see himself with anyone else, because he wants to spend the rest of his life with you so he let all his emotions out.

"No me dejes, te quiero mucho y me haces más feliz. Prometo hacerlo mejor, la cagué y no lo volveré a hacer nunca más. Soy un pendejo para hablar, lo siento decir que reaccionaste de forma exagerada. Por favor, no me dejes, significas mucho para mí." You cried while grabbing his face, you pulled him in for a hug squeezing him so hard, since you couldn't do so the last three days. He hugged you like you were going to slip no too tight, but a hug that was very much needed.

You pulled away from his hug grabbing his face wiping the tears falling down his face. "Ya no llores, eres demasiado guapo para llorar." He laughs at your comment, and you do too. "I wasn't going to leave you, what made you think that."

"You wouldn't answer my texts or calls, so I assumed you didn't want to be with me anymore." You shook your head.

"I love you so much, I wouldn't do that you mean so much to me. I didn't answer you because I needed time to process the situation and what was said. Looking back maybe I did overreact a tiny bit." You laughed and he shook his head.

"Maybe a little." You replied.

"No you have every right to be mad bebe, I ignored you and spent time with my friends, and not with you alone and I'm a fucking idiot for that, I'm so selfish." You didn't like how he called himself these negative things and looked down on himself.

"It's okay we are passed it now we move forward from this okay?" He nodded, and he pulled you in for a kiss, you wrap your arms around his neck pulling him closer to you. His hand comes around your waist squeezing it gently. The kiss was slow and passionate you can feel he craved for your lips, but he was gently kissing you.

You pulled away from the kiss, and he leans his forehead against yours. "I told coach if I can stay three more weeks, and he said yes. I want to make it up to you and spend the rest of my time with you, and ONLY YOU." You blushed, and you nodded your head. You grab his face giving him a big kiss. He pulls you in again and you smile in between the kiss as you guys share another passionate kiss.

"Espera," You whispered breathlessly, your lips are swollen after kissing for so long. You texted your best friend to not come back home yet.

Grosss, but I'm happy you talked it through get that dick bestie

You laughed at her response you threw your phone and looked at him, leading him to the room where you guys kissed and made love.

I do have to tell you at the moment is anyone from the seleccion Mexicana team, especially Diego Lainez ideas the request are anonymous. I will also take request from Formula 1, and later on it will be ghost face. DON'T BE AFRAID TO REQUEST!
