「床屋の夢」

床屋に入ると、知人のYさんが店主だった。Yさんは丸顔で、髪が薄く後ろに大きく後退したM字ハゲだ。

そんなYさんに髪を切ってもらうと、気がついたときには、自分もYさんと同じ髪型になっていた。

私は鏡の中の自分を見て、唖然としている。Yさんは、私と同じにしましたと笑顔で嬉しそうである。

さらにスタイリングをする人と入れ替わり、どんなスタイルにしますかと尋ねられた。

私は、無くなった髪を見つめて無駄とは思いながら、できるだけ前に下ろしてください。と言った。
