So sorry for the late answer!

1. Athanasia de Alger Obelia (Who Made Me A Princess)

First hyperfixation, the manhwa I saw from start to finish. Art is just absolutely beautiful and I've been attached from the very start. Her character arc surrounding her father, Claude, had me clutching my pearls and sobbing my eyes out.

2. Dazai Osamu (Bungou Stray Dogs)

Strongest hyperfixation on the series yet. There's a certain feel I get whenever I see or read content about him. Do I relate to him? Concerningly. But it's the sort of connectedness I feel when reading what Odasaku thinks of Dazai and me agreeing and being called out half of the time lol. Lastly, he's just so pretty.

3. Chuuya Nakahara (Bungou Stray Dogs)

This man's backstory has me in a chokehold. He's gone through so much shit but, compared to other characters, he remains a "good" man. Such a complex character I can't get enough of tbh. Asagiri really paired the donut man and one of the most beautiful written characters together and I love it/pos. Lastly, also very pretty. Imagining him together with Dazai, whether platonic or romantic, is also a treat.

4. Wilbur Soot (dsmp, qsmp, general yt)

His content just, helped me get through quarantine. Also his songs are just bangers, and Lovejoy is one of my top favorite bands next to The Neighborhood.

5. Kim Dokja (Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint)

One of the first Korean novels I've ever read and finished. He is just such a well-done character, and ORV as a story in general should become a literary classic (in my humble opinion). The way he seeks comfort in a story and is willing to stay until its very end, I relate to that so much, and I just feel for this tragedy-surrounded man. I wish only the best for him and his company.

6. Cale Henituse (Trash of the Count's Family)

I remember reading the novel in its early stages and waking up for school, to then eat cereal and slowly finish reading what's been published in the dim light. Haven't touched the second book yet, but the first book was just, woah. Amazing. Rollercoaster ride. Our young lord really should start looking out for his health more, everyone's so worried.

7. Han Sooyoung (Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint)

Her story arc of being an antagonist, to the third member of their trio, and [spoiler], was an absolute blast. Her character was written with such a personality she touched my heart with her spunk and gentle care towards her friends. What she's done for KDJ is absolutely what tore my heart out. She deserves so much. They all do. Speaks even more to me since I'm a writer. Love her with all my heart <3.

8. Achilles (Greek Mythos, the Song of Achilles)

He amuses me. His rage, his reactions, the slaughter he made across the battlefield, and the way he eventually died. The fact we have historical evidence from a vase that people back then saw him rolled up into a blanket burrito during his sulking period. That he sent out one of his "closest" men in his own armory and grew enraged (understatement) when he returned as a corpse. I just, love him. Words cannot explain how I hold him, and Patroclus, to a high regard in my heart.

9. Tallulah (qsmp)

Best egg child to ever exist. Second is Chayanne. The admin for this character just stole us from the very start. Deserves a thousand bamboo flutes.

10. Ayna and Ranonthean (Secret Lady)

Might be considered cheating but these two are a couple and the toxicity cannot exist without the other. The slow unfurling of how their love story that led to the actual FL and ML's current predicament (read the story it's so good) absolutely rocked my shit. Like, omfg their children. Her family. Fate itself. I wanna sock Fate in the face. They're in love, but their love cannot thrive in a place like that. At least not for long. And it shows; the chapter this image is from, side story 11, has me by the throat. Banana-nim's art just makes everything better. They're relatively good for each other, but because of the situations forced on them, shit happens. Doomed by the narrative indeed.

They're too obscure Marvel characters have been a fan of for a while. In the comics they're friends so I wanted a piece of fan art that would capture that.

Rikki Barnes Bucky

Rikki Barnes is the granddaughter of Bucky Barnes in the Heroes Reborn alternate Universe. after captain America returns to Modern Times she became his sidekick and took on the mantle of Bucky.

My version changed a little bit one changes that she is biracial in my version of her grandmother is Sarah Wilson is black. Also rikki is nickname for Rikkita instead of Rebecca like it was in the comics. Also for weapons I gave her some magnetic frisbees kind of like the ones gogo uses in the Big Hero 6 movie and TV show for her to use as weapons.

Anya Corazon Araña

Ayna Corazon / Arana grew as a young child in Mexico City. Her dad was a crime reporter for an important newspaper in the city. Her mom is eventually allegedly killed by Mexican gangster Jade for her dad's reporting. Ayna and her father moved to the United States city of New York. Where he got a job as a reporter at The Daily Bugle. Ayna was able to eventually pick up English but she still has a Mexican accent

When Ayna was 15 she was wounded in the cross fire between two secret societies. The spider society and the WASP Society, she was saved form her injury's by Miguel Legar a senior mage of the spider society whom believed Ayna was predestined to be a person of great importance to the spider society.

Miguel became a mentor and eventually partner to Ayna as she took up the role of ' The hunter', one of two magical enhanced protectors for the spider society and all good an innocent peoples against the insidious wasp society.

Through out her training and magical enhancement, Ayna gained most of the powers normally attributed to members of the spider family. Though her ability's were more mystical in nature such as manifesting 'spider armor' and using an grabbling hook instead of web shooters

Yeah no shit, I love how neither of them have a parent bone in their bodies. Unlike Yor and Loid they both had some form of I plan to be a parent to I was a parent to my younger brother. So they have plans they, they have some type of experience. They understand school, and the need for Anya to be watched. Loid tried to leave Ayna alone and that shit went sideways fast and he regerted soon after.

These two haven't had that connection yet. They aren't attached to the child, they aren't acting like a family at all. I'm assuming the mother isn't going to be very- how do I put this. Welcoming to her child coming back. She kinda just left the kid to find her way to her ex.

"Unbridled captured my attention initially because it was supposed to have two non-GOC LIs (after a bunch of single-LI books). I also generally like LIs who are more peppy and openly friendly, so I knew I would like Mandy. Then the story actually came out and tugged at my heartstrings a bit with MC's backstory. And then the MC-Ryder-Mandy dynamics sealed the deal for me. I'm also not big on the newbie MC, but Ryder's support and Mandy being their biggest hype woman kind of makes up for that for me. They have a bickering but loving little found family vibe which I'm enjoying a lot."

This whole paragraph is it for me. I like having multiple LIs, especially in a smut book: no point in being a mega hoe if that energy is only directed towards one person. Plus, I like having non-custom LIs (or a mix like FA with Blaine vs Ayna and Tatum or more aptly LoA with Gabe vs Aislinn). I generally enjoy the 2 LI books because they make the LIs play off each other well (Gabe vs Cas, Arthur vs Lancelot, Rainier vs Kaine, etc). I also like LIs who are anything but broody and stoic, whether they're shy and sweet like Nia or more charming and boisterous like Charlie from DS.

It also didn't have the POS that was Austin. Honestly, UB is one of my fav smut books and UT is one of my least fav smut books which is super funny

Yeah, I get you completely! Broody and stoic is the one type of LI I can (almost) never get into, and there are soooo many of them 😩 It's another reason I like multi-LI books, because in those I have the option to choose literally anything but that lol.

Also, Austin was so annoying to me fr. The constant infantilization (both from him AND Kit) is what really sucked all of the joy out of the book for me, it was soooooo frustrating. Like, I understand it had to be there to create conflict yada yada, but personally? I just wanted to reach out through the screen, grab Austin/Kit by the shoulders and tell them both to shut the fuck up 🤣

Leverage Redemption Log: The Double-edged sword job

Presumed Client has a Presumed Stalker (Cop) Parker is playing with little dolls. Oh is this a Time-Skip client? Like an ex-client from the inbetween years? Cool pitch, im hooked. --- Well that line about the Israeli government shutting down the peoples access to the internet aged like a fine (though disgusting) wine.

Gut instinct: Harry is right. Its a cop thing, specifically the same way that Security Lady from episode one can recognise Elliot when Hardison's program is protecting you guys as well. Cops are scum, (i know that naratively, breanna is gonna be proven right. But the team is right to assume its an analog thing)

Oh the small town is a surveilance state.

Look Sophie, i understand that petty theft is beneath you all, but breanna is right to start the test small scale.

--- So this is our "newbie goes in solo" episode. Elliot is flirting with Supercop. (dont know wether "distinctive" is meant to be an admission she knows who he is, or just an attempt to draw parallels between the two) this show expects me to believe that the high-tech supercomputer doesnt have a firewall.

Oh its Minority Report bullshit. (Funny thing about minority report, didnt that end up with it predicting its creator/championing congressman would commit murder? Cause thats what we're gonna do. Make it predict that our Supercop will embezzle the black-ops money)

And they're trying to gass-chamber Breanna. --- Ok so quickly: Harry having to do an Elliot is cool, funny little gag about how Parker stopped stabbing people. (its good cause this one retroactively fixes a lot of the other "parker used to stab people" jokes by explaining the taser as the reason it only happened once.) --- Debriefing: Breanna might've been in trouble for more then just Twitter. Parker and Elliot have both done this for 8 years more then the rest, and the rest dont even bother asking what they're thinking. (like i understand not interupting them, but there is a reason we're having a debrief) --- Supercop is alledgely not part of the experiment. (she claims she's just investigating the miracle crime-drop).

Elliot gives them all 10 seconds to joke. Back to the debrief. "Just to be clear..." "metaphorically" everyone disliked that. (as do I, if this guy wants to be the only person alive who isnt recognisable to a supercomputer? See if his face ID works on cremated ashes) --- Parker I agree this guy is an asshole to the waitstaff, but if a customer orders something without coconut oil, it is the restaurants responsibility to either accomodate this request or tell the customer they cant make it that way. I know he's just a pretentious twit but allergies exist. (he's definitly an asshole for assuming he's enough of a regular to have "his regular" though)

Oh, RIZ is back. (Supercop works for them) Well looks like Cheng has a robo-nanny (and maybe a crush on robonanny) --- What a stack of hundreds and an awkward story about a roleplaying kink cant let these guys do. --- Ok and we're inside the house. The robot is scanning Parker The AI is scary AF, Parker is looking for a way out. AI is all-seeing, but apparently worse with faces then Searchlight. (Searchlight can recognise you of an out-of-focus nose. Al-Ayna cant recognise him if he lowers his voice) which can only mean one thing:

CHEMICAL WARFARE! Oh how i missed you, we've been waiting for your return all season. --- Private security provides Elliot with a good chance to teach Harry how a choke-out is done with proper form.

Cheng has recognised Breanna and has decided to make the stupid mistake of locking Leverage inside the safe they're trying to crack. By which i mean your house, that has your software, the one they're gonna use to make you look like a criminal.

and now our heroes have a superAI who is going to help them with their witness protection schemes. (Lower Hardisons workload a little as well.) Like how the camera zooms out to end the shot from Alayna's POV. (is she gonna be a recurring character? Probably not in a "regular castmember" way but definitly in a "we have continuity and on rare occasions she might be important" way)

This one's interesting because Lora, Spinder's youngest adoptive sister, has existed since Old Canon and honestly had a decently large part in Spinder & Georg, and Jia I just invented because I was changing Lora's family and I didn't want to use her Old Canon husband. He's a little bit based on someone I know IRL in terms of personality (laid-back), but honestly I haven't decided on a lot about him. He is a good dad though, and I think in the future he and Lora will achieve the three kids they had in Old Canon, where they were a lot older (everyone was because weird faery aging). But being married to Lora puts him in an intriguing position: Lora is the hub of the Pastearn family, the one who kept in touch with Michael when he moved several localities afield, the only member of the family who is allowed to know where Gwin is at any given time, who keeps track of Megan's model trains and Mick's extracurriculars and Corcra's TV appearances and Spinder's flight schedules and Nieram's home improvement projects. Jia cannot remember all of this and has stopped trying. His main contribution to her family connection activities (aside from obviously going to family gatherings and stuff like that) is to make sure that there's plenty of time where he's actively spending time of their baby daughter Ayna so that Lora can be doing video calls &c. Now that I say this actually I think he does commission/contract work, so he's at home a lot of the time. Still not sure what Lora does though, aside from being everyone's favorite sibling.

👋 Hey, can't wait to hear what you think of foreign affairs as the story progresses. I was a lurker in the fandom back in the day and finding people still talking about the books on Tumblr makes me a little nostalgic.

Anyway yes I fully agree with friends to lovers being such a good trope, it's someone who you have good chemistry with already so making the leap to crushing is pretty believable. Despite that though I went for Blaine. Something about them being the Mc's rival without being needlessly antagonist towards them and the slow reluctance to admit there might be feelings there just got to me but the relationship with Tatum was really good too!

Another thing I appreciated about the book was the little diplomacy feature they implemented. I think they could have tweaked it a bit but I appreciate it when books have different mechanics to them.

In general though, there's some things in the later chapters that I wish they'd handled differently but I still think this book deserved more love than, say, the nanny affair. Good talking to you!

hiiii everyone, i have been sick and in the ER so that’s why I’ve been MIA, but I did manage to play the rest of Foreign Affairs ! I feel the same way, seeing people’s interest in choices still surprises me and gives me that nostalgic feeling of being obsessed w it 5 years ago.

It’s the best trope!!!! someone who knows everything about you and still loves you through everything they know about you makes me so soft and the slow pining and build up to them falling for each other and the even more pining of not wanting to ruin the friendship but loving that person so much 🫣 *chefs kiss*

I did have a little trouble picking between Blaine and Tatum, I won’t lie. Ultimately Tatum won out for me but Blaine and MC’s dynamic is so good. I love the way they’re rivals without being antagonistic as well!!! PB kinda does it like ass I won’t lie, I typically hate the rival LI, but the way Blaine and MC interact is so 🫶🏻 and I love that their rivalry is strictly fun for Blaine, like they don’t give a fuck they’re just having fun and hanging out w MC like it’s not the most scandalous thing ever and actually shows and acts like they like MC as a person and not just someone they want to get w.

I liked the diplomacy as well, I think it added a fun touch to the book and made me interested in the side characters, even if we’ve seen their faces in 20 other books lolllll.

I do wish they did the Ayna and MC storyline better, I think the drama is fun and I still really like Ayna and MC’s dynamic, it’s fun and interesting. And seeing them interact after the reveal was kinda meh. I wish they did more with the storyline and Ayna as a character really. Anyways these are my thoughts ty for asking and I loved hearing your thoughts!!!

In one of the medieval variations, Morgan(a) left the dark path and settled in a forest cottage. King Arthur came to her to ask and receive forgiveness; and invited her to return to Camelot. Morgan(a) refused–she would no longer be able to feel like herself there.

The Golden Age did not come when Morgana was gone. It was peace, but nothing like what was promised. A lie, an exaggeration. The kingdom was at peace, the court was flourishing, but everything was as if something was missing.

And King Arthur found himself missing her, even her old hatred because it helped him become who he is, after all.

But when one misty morning a black raven, the sign of the witch, sat on his windowsill Arthur understood everything and his heart started racing like a horse that gone wild. Quickly turning around and making sure that there was no one in the room, he approached the raven who was looking at him with his wise eyes, and untied a piece of parchment from his paw.

"If you still remember me, come to Avalon. I will wait for you there, as always."

Fear and desire to go to her washed Arthur, but he knew that he could not refuse her. Maybe it was a trap, but she was alive. Morgana was alive, and she didn't want anyone to know about it except him.

Therefore, he went there, saying others that he wanted to hunt, barely getting rid of Merlin's annoying and wary attention.

It took the King a while to find her in the woods by the Holy Lake. But here it is, a small cottage in a secluded grove. He tied his horse at a beech tree, gathered all his strength and knocked on the door.

Something rustled and fell behind it and Arthur tensed, clutching the handle of Excalibur.

But then the door opened, and in the soft semi-darkness of the cottage, Arthur met Morgana's gaze.

She was dressed in a black hooded mantle, beads of wolf bones and sea glasses around her neck, in the eyes is a knowledge from which Arthur felt uneasy. "God have mercy," he thought, looking at his sister.

Arthur entered the room–a living room, bedroom and kitchen in one.

"Dear brother," Morgana smirked, stepping aside and allowing him to enter, "Don't be afraid, it's not a trap," as if reading his mind, she said, "Are you alone?"

"Of course."

The fire in the hearth was warming a cauldron with strange contents, herbal smoking almost made him sneeze in the most impolite way.

He sat down at the table without waiting for her invitation.

Morgana sat down the opposite, not taking her eyes off him.

"Ayna, go playing outside, please." she said, and a girl with big eyes jumped out from somewhere from a dark corner and slipped out of the door like a shadow, into the backyard.

"Who is this?" Arthur watched her go.

"My pupil and maid. And a future High Priestess." Morgana added proudly.

Arthur turned back to her, and his gaze became sad and affectionate.

"You're alive."

"It's not easy to kill me." she shrugged, "As you can see."

"What happened to you, Morgana?" he asked the same question that he asked her over and over again.

She was an enigma to him, a riddle to be solved. He reached across the table and touched her hand. Their touch responded with an old pain, an old fever.

"I'm tired. I reconciled. I've decided to devote myself to the Priestesshood, my true destiny," Morgana replied, as if that explained something to him.

Maybe Arthur didn't understand what she meant, but he sensed a change in her.

"Peace, then?" he squeezed her fingers gently.

Morgana lowered her gaze and looked at the lavenders and chamomiles-strewn floor, and just nodded. Maybe it was difficult for her to pronounce that word. Peace.

Arthur broke into a silly and joyful smile.

"Forgive me."

Morgana looked up at him, frowned slightly, but then softened.

"Me too...I'm sorry." These words were both light and heavy, they meant everything and nothing anymore.

Arthur moved his stool closer to her to take both her hands in his.

"I've already forgotten everything. Look, it vanished like a mist."

Morgana smiled slightly, shaking her head but feeling relieved.

"So what next? You're coming home, aren't you?" Arthur ran his fingers through her hair, not realizing the possible meaning of his gesture. "Since it's all over now?"

Morgana tensed. She didn't think he would suggest it.

"Home? You mean a cage?" she objected. Morgana wanted to pull her hand out of his, but Arthur did not let her do it, squeezing it tighter.

"I have granted amnesty to all magicians, Morgana." he replied to her, offended by the way she calls him–their–home. A cage?

"It doesn't change anything. I could have stopped the war, but I can't stand these walls anymore, as if nothing happened. I won't be able to see Emrys–Merlin every day...And Guinevere." she added more quietly.

Arthur did not immediately understand what her addition meant, but he felt hurt.

"Morgana, whatever it is, don't bury yourself here...Everything can be as before. No, even better," he added quickly, seeing Morgana abruptly stand up and turn away to the fireplace, "Life's too short to miss out on each other."

"No, it can't be, Arthur. And it never could. Can't you see? I can be myself here. So, no, I'm not coming back."

"But I thought since you stopped the war and sent me the message, it means you want to go back..." Arthur stood behind her, wishing her to hear and listen, "What was it for?"

"Maybe I wrote to say farewell to you, Arthur."

Her shoulders tensed as Arthur hugged her, hugging her to him, wrapping his arms around her not like a brother, but not like a lover either.

"No, it can't end like this." he whispered into her hair, feeling like he couldn't keep it inside anymore–Heaven knows he tried.

"But this is the happy ending, Arthur," Morgana whispered, turning to him, allowing herself to hug him, after all these years.

There was confusion, sadness and desire in his eyes. She rose on tiptoe, brought her lips closer to his–he did not resist; but a millimeter away from him, already feeling his warmth she opened her eyes, and pulled away.

Arthur blinked. What just happened–almost happened?..Happened not.

"And now–go away. Live your life and let me be." Morgana said calmly, and before he could protest, take her by the shoulders and shake her, she called that girl again.

"Ayna! You can come in now. Sir Knight is already leaving us."

"Morgana, no..." Arthur said, disappointedl; already pining for her.

Ayna, a thin girl in an old blue dress, ran into the house and sat down at the table where they had just been sitting, curiously eyeing Arthur from under her long brown hair, looking at his bright red cloak and silver chain mail.

For some reason, he felt uncomfortable under the innocent gaze of the child.

"I'm not saying farewell," he still said as if to both of them and walked out, his heavy footsteps making the floor creak.

The Avalon waters smelled damp and fresh; and Arthur, returning to Camelot, knew that he would never forget the way to this lost cottage.

She’s Heaven (The Stars Don’t Compare)~ Andrei Svechnikov (part 2)

Anya sighed and pushed herself up in bed. The struggle to fall asleep wasn't new, but lately she'd been doing loads better.

She slipped out of bed and pulled her purple robe over her arms before tying it around her waist. She quietly opened her door and walked down the hall before stepping into the living room.

Back in Russia, on nights she stayed over at Andrei's house, when she couldn't sleep, they liked to stare at the stars and discuss their dreams.

That hadn't been needed as much since they'd moved here, but some nights, Anya needed the stars. She thought about waking Andrei up to join her, but decided against it. That boy needed his sleep.

She curled up in the comfy chair right by the window and leaned her head against it. It wasn't a perfect view, but it was way to cold to sit on the deck Andrei had built three summers ago.

"звезды прекрасны*," she whispered.

The sound of footsteps startled her and she turned to see Andrei quietly walking towards her.

"Needed the stars tonight, sunshine?"

Anya nodded and let out a sudden giggle as Andrei lifted her up out of the chair and settled her in his lap.

"Have you seen the Milky Way yet, sunshine?"

Anya tilted her head up at him and wrapped an arm around his neck.

"No, Andrei. It too dark to see."

Andrei smiled at Anya's attempt to speak English and pulled her closer to his chest.

"That's okay, Anya. The stars are pretty too."

Anya didn't notice the soft look Andrei gave her. She had been too busy nuzzling her head under his chin and mentally counting the stars she could see.

"The stars guide us home," she whispered, subconsciously moving her hand from Andrei's neck to the crook of his elbow.

Andrei's breath hitched at the sudden movement and he looked at her as his fingers rubbed along her hip.

He'd always compared Anya to the stars. He often pointed out the stars that lit her eyes, but he didn't think Anya heard any of it.

"Yes," he mumbled, pressing a kiss into Ayna's hair, "the stars do guide us home, my love."

I would work in solidarity with the mlm players but a bunch of them join in with women about hating female lis if a female li even breathes in their direction. The rape allegations are just too much.

I wonder though if SOME of the mlm blogs that hate on the female LIs are even actually mlm and not straight women fetishsizing mlm. In real life, the majority of mlm I met and befriended are not as misogynistic as some of the mlm choices readers seem to be. There are a lot of straight women who are lesbophobic and some of these mlm blogs sound just like them. Of course I'm not saying ALL of these mlm blogs are straight women posing as mlm and there are mlm out in the world who are misogynistic, but some the things some of these people say stick out to me.

I want to be someone who can support mlm and wlw solidarity but also be able to stand up against misogyny and the mistreatment of the female characters too. It's easy for me to notice all the terrible coding for the female LIs and the mistreatment of the wlw, given my world view as a lesbian. It's a balance getting my point across on these limited emotion, heavily worded dependent posts on tumblr, "like yes, we all have our issues with PB and I'll listen and support your opinions on mlm complaints but also we wlw have the right to complain about the mistreatment of the wlw characters and mlm shouldn't down play our issues or talk over us"

Your opinion is valid though. I understand running into some bad apples and how that might sour future interactions. I have certain people blocked on here because of how hateful they had gotten with the female characters. The hate the fandom gave to Lily Spencer, Morgan and Ayna are just a couple I can think off the top of my head, was atrocious and sickening and frankly downright hypocritical when compared to some of their beloved male LIs.

My whole point is that I support anyone regardless of gender or sexuality, and I'll raise my voice for more goc and pronoun of choice books but I'm also gonna stand up for the wlw and all the problems we face.

Im starting to realize something the women in Spy x Family are written to be super strong. The maid who takes care of Becky is the one to calm her father down. Even tho she is just as worried.

Ayna reaches out to Damien because she knows he's scared. Becky is losing her mind of course cause her Anya (legit Becky says No- not my any like girl come on.) is tapping on the bomb like it's nothing.

Yuri sees his sister as vulnerable, when he finally realizes that his sister would 100% break down if anything happened to Anya. Causing him to freak out- when we know Yor would go on a murdering spree.
