Thinking about Black Widow and how the reason stated for having all the widows sterilized is so they can never have anything that might be more important to them than the mission, and how that's probably just as big of a factor in the Control Brains eliminating the ability to reproduce naturally from Irken society as having complete control over the gene pool.

Like, with how quickly Zim bonded with Lil Meat Man, how quickly the smeet he made by spitting in the primordial ooze identified him as its "Papa", and a plethora of other evidence that Zim retains a natural instinctive desire to be nurtured by parents and projects that desire onto others, you know if Zim actually had a kid for real the kid would immediately become his number 1 priority. Like, Zim is already so self-centered he'll go against direct orders from the Tallest if it conflicts with what he wants, you think he wouldn't just throw them right under the bus if he has to choose between them and his offspring?

You know what the sad thing is about commissions? Basically, I love doing them a lot because nothing else quite beats that feeling of overwhelming love that's involved with all parties when you give someone a handmade thing of their beloved pet/ people/character. Nothing compares to that. And the actual work involved in doing them is about the same as with personal work... however. Commissions take like 3 times more brain power and that's what makes them very taxing and that's so sad, so limiting 🥺 I wish I could do them with the same amount of brain power as other work. Like, just work away on them and go on and on and on until it's done. But alas.
