Here’s also my favorite video that I made. It’s a Doctor Strange audio, but I found it perfect for a conversation I imagined Lily would have with Severus once she found out he was hanging around with death eaters.

unicorn foals are gold.

Mother’s cakes were always homemade, never bought. She always said, ‘Lily flower, it’s the little sprinkle of love that makes it delicious…and of course all the frosting!’ She’d let me have a lick from the spoon before shooing me away to the next room, otherwise I would be comprising the entire surprise. My favorite flavor has always been vanilla, as cliché as it is; something about tradition, the smell of fresh vanilla extract…it reminds me of home. For as long as I can remember, mum was always the first awake in the house for any special occasion, her flower apron wrapped tightly around her small frame, whipping away, and humming as she poured her heart and soul for specializing the cake to our most recent obsession.  Mine? Unicorns. What 10-year-old girl isn’t, really? I was reading all about them in fantasy books, but I was even more impressed when Severus told me they were actually real! All white(except the golden foals), with a single horn, just like the color of my favorite flavor of cake. “Where is my Lily flower?!” I heard mum calling, and quickly I run down the stairs, sliding down the banister in the last few seconds. I hop off, practically gliding through the air thanks to a little trick I learned! Daddy is there, shaking his head but the amusement is clear in his eyes.  “Careful Lils, don’t want you to get hurt on your special day!” Our kitchen is bright, yellow and inviting and my mother radiates when she smiles and turns around with my birthday surprise. Mum is carrying a tray of cupcakes, all decorated into unicorns and I can’t help the beaming smile on my lips. “MUM THEY ARE PERFECT, EVEN THE HORN IS RIGHT!” I scream at the top of my lungs, lunging for the tray to grab one so I can marvel at it. “How did you know what they look like? Did you overhear my conversation with Severus? I need to show him!” I say practically jumping from the excitement. My mum laughs, and dad comes up beside ruffling my hair. “After we sing you happy birthday Lilypad—now where is Tuney hiding?” He says heading off to find her. I reckon she’s hiding somewhere, unwilling to come out to celebrate; seething in the fact that this would be my last birthday here before my Hogwarts letter arrives—both of us certain it will—even if it kills her to admit it. It doesn’t matter…nothing could ruin today, not when mum made magic feel that much realer, that much closer.

(continued) she can. she always /HAD/ to follow the rules, so now she breaks them whenever she can. she grew up too fast and now she wants to make up for time lost. she just wants to have fun, but sometimes she doesn’t know where the line is. this is not saying she acts like a child, because she doesn’t... in fact, she’s very mature–-- everything she does, she does because she can. she refuses to take orders from anyone. but man can she dish them out.

okay so MICK DELUCA he’s a witc (not in the harry potter world but) from sWEET HOME ALABAMA, and he’s the oldest of his huge ass family, but instead of being the responsible brother he’s been like ‘YO FUCK THAT’ and he honestly does what he wants when he wants.  and he’s that kinda guy that despite being brutally punished by his father, you’d be like, ‘yo when is this kid gonna learn????’ but he honestly doesn’t care, his punishments hold absolutely no weight.  he loves to party, loves to have fun, is  HUGE fucking flirt and is ALWAYS up for an adventure.  he’s the kinda guy you could go on one of those cute 4 am ‘WHERE IS THE CLOSEST SONIC?? OH IT’S A STATE AWAY LET’S DO THIS’ sort of adventure, or the real ass, full on crazy ass adventure with.

tbh he loves girls like jupiter because (he’s sorta cliche like that) finds them to be a challenge, and loves the chase (but like, he’s not a total douche bag who once or if winning said chase would be like BYE) and yeah he can get a bit dark SOME TIMES (rarely) bc of the shit his father has put him through and some other shit but he honest to god just wants to live his life to the fullest and let it be one huge ass party

It’s summer of 1975. Marlene is staying at Lily’s family home.

Lily: There’s no use in trying to be nice to her.

Lily: And Dorcas is so friendly, she would take it up as a challenge to make Tuney like her...

Marlene: Merlin, if you cry, I’ll have to put toad’s eyes in her shampoo for upsetting you.

*Marlene grabs a hair brush and motions for Lily to turn around*

Lily; In fact, I can’t see what makes them friends with Potter and Black in the first place.

Marlene: Sirius even takes notes for him when he’s ill.

Lily: They take care of each other, but you can’t deny they can be bullies.

Lily: *not everything...*

Lily: He’s been a very good friend to me since before Hogwarts.

Suddenly, a female’s scream can be heard from the bathroom.

hey, i just read your post and wanted to say sorry about your job. don't stress too much, though, you'll find another job.

thank you. it’s not so much the losing the job part that sucks, it’s the fact i had finally gotten used to it and now it’s just gone and i have to start all over again. i hate change. plus, this also means i’m going to have to take a one year hiatus from college, since i don’t want to be struggling to pay for my tuition again. so yeah, it’s just overall suck-y.
