Infernal Firestorm

a prototype set and d20 for my contribution to the Caliya's Chronicle of Runes Kickstarter hosted by Spectre Creations, which launches June 20th!

we're still tweaking the design a bit (which is the same as my OG Firestorm design) to make the orange a bit more red, but i'm so happy with how these initial attempts turned out! the top backer tiers will have the option to add either a full set or just a d20 if you're wanting to get your hands on this custom Infernal font. and not to worry--there will be a number key included with the dice for the backers who order them!

although at this point i've spent so much time with these dice that i'm able to read the numbers, so i promise it's doable.

Hey there! No worries, better to stay safe. If you’re thinking of The Bite That Binds pair, the answer is yes! I do plan to include it in a future shop update, and I do also have a full set of that design waiting to be finished. TBD on when, though. I’ll make an announcement on my shop page when I’m gearing up for an update.

About Dicemaking in general, and Diceyclipse in particular

I saw @lizardcatcreations make a very interesting post about how she functions as a dicemaker, and thought I'd make my own explanation of what one should expect from me as a handmade dice maker !

I am a full-time dicemaker. It is my only source of income, and has been for the past two years, ever since I launched Diceyclipse in October 2020.

I'm a one woman team, I handle everything from making the 3D models of (most of) my dice, to 3D-printing them, making the silicone molds to then pour resin into, finishing the dice (sanding and polishing), photography, social media manager, it's all me !

I have shop updates (restocks) monthly

I do not take commissions, it just takes too much time and energy, of which I have limited quantities.

I am French, based in France, and there are countries I cannot ship to due to international business laws: UK and Germany come to mind, and the list keeps being updated. Keep that in mind should your order take a while to come to you. I send out only tracked packages, so keep refreshing that tracking page !

Please, please, PLEASE for the love of all that is sacred, DO NOT ask if the dice are balanced if you do not want to incur foaming at the mouth of your local dicemaker. They Are.

Infernal Firestorm d20

An Infernal Firestorm d20 made specially for the creator of the font, @ / conorthography on IG (they don't have a tumblr that I'm aware of). Numbers in image order: 8, 10, 12

This version of the design has an updated orange base to make it a little more ~red~ compared to the original and I'm SO happy it turned out. Now I just need to remember the mix recipe 😅

The Infernal font was exclusive to Spectre Creations' Caliya's Chronicle of Runes Kickstarter that ended last summer, and not to fret--backers are getting a translation key for the numbers.

Serenity

like wading in calm, healing waters with glimpses of treasure and glittering fish.

serenity is probably one of my favorite designs, and i'm so glad i was able to recreate it beyond the original d20/d6 pair.

Magic, biding its time, just beneath the surface. It waits for you to wake. Always there, unrealized and untapped. For now.

ngl, i really struggled with the name for this one. i originally wanted to call it hellish rebuke, but decided not to out of a healthy does of caution what with the looming OGL 1.1 updates. the vibe of this design really screams "trapped magic" to me.
