Finished! I think.
A book, scribble and dice based D&D session.
I’ll be exploring the possibility of getting some notebooks printed with this as a wraparound cover, but in the meantime it’s just a fun drawing!

Ok, hear me out.
What if your D&D BBEG is a dragon and you just have an inflatable dragon set behind your Dungeon Master screen. Just imagine hearing that sound of an inflating dragon as it appears behind the DM.

Question about Frank! What is his fighting style? I know you mentioned he does hand on hand, but does he do any specific form of martial arts?? Or is it just kind of the basic, punching, kicking, ect. Also, does he have some form of magic, or is he basically like Howdy? (I'm just imagining they all play like.. actual table top DnD and Frank is getting irritated because his rolls are garbage-)
i'm not nearly well versed enough in martial arts to name styles or blend them - though i feel a "i need to know everything i can about this" fixation creeping up... so i might be able to provide a better answer later!
but for now lets just say he's adapted his own stylized form, blended from his childhood training, what he learns on the streets, and what he picks up on his travels / figures out himself. i imagine it would be an efficient, ruthless, and elegant personal style of combat
Frank has no magic! if he rolled for it he'd somehow get a 0! he and Howdy are the only magicless maidens of the group

The Way of the Granite Guardian - Homebrew Monk Subclass by Nines
Always was a fan of the "Medusa was actually blessed by Athena to protect her" interpretation. It kinda falls to pieces when you realize that Athena was also the one that sent Perseus to kill her, though. Just like Perseus falls to pieces in this image. I guess you could write it as an attempt to fake her death?...
The idea of the Granite was actually inspired by a game called Slice and Dice. Not exactly a lot of story to it, but it's a pretty fun little dice-rolling roguelike.
The nature of this subclass gives you an unusual combination of durability and mobility, making you a frontliner and defender unlike any other in D&D. If you want to be particularly cheesy, you can use your mobility to run away from your allies, forcing enemy combatants to redirect their melee attacks far away from the rest of the party.
The 3rd level abilities of this subclass are definitely extremely loaded; half of Granite's Blessing just makes you immune to Petrification's downsides - though, notably, not advantage on attacks made against you, which helps to further redirect attacks towards yourself. You give up a lot of things for this powerful protection, though. While you can redirect as many attacks to yourself as you want per turn, you're still a bit less bulky than a Barbarian just by virtue of the difference in hit dice, and being attacked by every single enemy on the map can be rough even with the resistance afforded by petrification. You also give up nearly all of your action economy for these defenses, so you won't be throwing out nearly as many Flurries of Blows or Stunning Strikes, which might be a better use of ki in some encounters.
The "unintended side effect" bit of the 6th level feature is just because I thought it would be funny. You petrified your face too many times and now you're literally too stony-faced to laugh.

I just had a wonderful DnD experience.
We’re doing a homebrew campaign where a dragon burned down the capital city and turned it into a massive wyrm hive, so the objective was to rally the rest of the kingdom to take back the capital. The first stop for the party was to gather the support of the Dragonborns, and to do that, we needed to somehow convince the high empress to let us borrow her army for the attack.
It was me, a Tortle Druid, and two other guys, a dragonborn warrior and a human bard. Our warrior had the wonderful idea for me to cast illusion on him to make him look like the High Empress, have our bard fuck him, and show the video (we had an ancient dwarven livepainting device) to the empress to blackmail her.
I roll a 17 on illusion, nothing special, and for shits and giggle, our DM makes our bard roll of dick size.
This MOTHERFUCKER ROLLED A NAT 20 for his penis. Our DM based his inches off of the roll. Our bard was a tripod at this point, and he nearly killed our warrior. He finishes, rolls a 3 to try to avoid pregnancy (our DM is psychotic), so we have an m-preg Dragonborn in our party now.
We show the video to the empress, and our tripod bard (forgot to mention that his name is Bard. Bard the Bard) rolls for charisma. He once again rolls nat 20, and the empress is so impressed by his penis that she makes him her consort and gives us control of the entire kingdom. We now own an underground kingdom of dragonborns and have a very horny Empress on our side now.

dice bag knit round 🌲🌠🌌 i have about 30 dice in it right now but there’s room for many, many more.
you walk alone through the forest of the fae, tired down to your bones. the scent of pine is steady, fresh, bolstered by rainwater that must have fallen from clouds that made their journey faster than you, begun and ended while you were still making your way through distant lands; every so often you catch a hint of cinnamon. You can see your breath in the air in front of you. There’s tinkling laughter tempting you from the path home, but you don’t stray. There is maybe a day left of your journey. You don’t dare slow down, but you gradually allow crumbled bread to fall from your palm. You won’t look back, but you know it will have been taken quicker than you could glance over your shoulder.
