headcanons for torchwood three going to a festival together because my recent trip to cardiff was, in fact, for the depot in the castle festival because bastille were on & it had always been a bucket list wish of mine to see my favourite band live so my friend invited me & our other friend to join her to see them. it was incredible & lovely to see people of all ages having an absolute blast, HOWEVER, because i just could not be Normal, my brain decided to spawn headcanons for torchwood three (all alive, no dead idc about canon) going to a festival together. i apologise in advance to you all, especially to @kirstyth who is about to hear more of my insanity.
ianto probably has the best glitter makeup look. he would have gems, rhinestones & so many different colours of glitter & would look stunning. he would probably have the bi flag with myfanwy on it. would probably do most of the singing along & dancing with an equally as bright & cheerful jack, gwen & rhys.
now i really think jack would be opposed to wearing glitter himself but i could also imagine jack in his normal coat but it being completely covered in navy blue glitter (he would probably get some on his face though from being affectionate with ianto) probably wears leather trousers like the ones he wore in bw/tpotw & is having a great time as its probably his first twenty first century human festival.
martha i think, depending on her choice of hair style would either have silver or gold strands in a messy bun or if she had her hair in her beautiful braids, she would have different neon beads in them & a gold flower headband, she would look like an absolute goddess. may have some angel wings on because they remind her of her friend tallulah & potentially could wear a similar style dress. if she drags her husband along along mickey probably ends up with glitter in his hair & would have an inflatable alien on a stick left over from one of the ‘alien spacecraft crashed into big ben’ parties.
weirdly enough i think rhys would also have some glitter, more low key than ianto but he would still look cool. makes sure everyone has a drink, would probably wear a big flower necklace, has an inflatable flamingo & neon heart shaped sunglasses that gwen would have a matching pair of. he'd be having such a blast because he didn't think torchwood did normal things like this. is definitely the festival expert & likes that he has significantly more knowledge on something than the rest of torchwood three do.
oh gwen would probably be wearing a pretty flowery summer dress & definitely has matching sunglasses with rhys, wears big fun, colourful plastic jewellery & has her face painted, is very excited about torchwood three doing a normal activity, spends most of her time group dancing with rhys, jack & ianto, is also wearing a flower crown, i could also imagine her with bright red streaks sprayed into her hair, tries to convince owen to dance with them to no avail but would probably win in a drinking competition between herself, rhys, jack & ianto.
tosh i think, would be all about the flower crowns & would look like the most beautiful ethereal fantasy fairy with small but intricate glittery makeup. loud music probably isn't really her thing but she loves spending time with the others. has one drink, gets nowhere near as drunk as the others do. is convinced to dance with jack, ianto, gwen & rhys a few times but hovers around owen to talk with him & attempt to get him to smile at least once. he gives her his jacket or lab coat when she’s cold & that absolutely makes her day.
whilst i think suzie would join in on wearing a flower crown with tosh, i feel like she would wear a massive gold medusa snake headband or something equally as strange with a long tie dye dress & hand jewellery that she's fashioned to look like the risen mitten. definitely looks like some kind of mysterious witch that's just emerged from deep within a forest. probably would be quieter than the others & drink with owen but is occasionally seen humming or singing along. if any of the team members see her dancing, no they did not.
owen would probably not want to be there, especially if its taking place in the middle of a field because he doesn't like grass, definitely almost always has his drink in his hand or his face buried in a cup whilst sulking, unlike the others who are having the time of their lives & would definitely wear his normal every day clothes, potentially even his lab jacket if the team have just dragged him with them. makes snarky comments most of the time but has conversations with tosh & suzie because they're quieter than the others. somehow ends up being forced into a flower crown by the combined efforts of tosh, suzie & gwen.
myfanwy has her own flower crown that she found on the floor of the hub during when the others were getting ready, she’s flying through the skies & rather enjoying the tunes she can hear. scares a few locals, some people think she's a flag or a balloon though.

The Losers Club around Halloween/October
Bill - Bill would like Autumn for the colours and smell of the crisp Autumn leaves but Halloween would get his creative juices flowing, I feel like he'd look at people's costumes and create characters out of it. His house used to be one of those houses that use to get crazy with decorating but after Georgie died his parents did really see much fun in decorating, Bill still tried to decorate in memory of his little brother though. Every year Bill would try and get the losers to do a group costume but it'd never end up working out, most of the time he'd dress up as cool super hero's or even a zombie one year.
Stanley- I feel like Stan isn't too fond of Halloween but this man loves Autumn, he loves the cozy sweaters, he loves pumpkin themed food and drinks, he loves the colours of everything, and he loves the crunchy leaves that fall ( don't we all tho.) When it comes to decorating his house he doesn't do much, like maybe he'll put out some pumpkins he and the losers carved but that's it, he probably also have those fake fall leaves around his house. Assuming the other losers made him wear a Halloween costume I think he'd pick something like simple skull makeup and then put on a black cloak.
Richie- Richie is obsessed with Halloween, like he'll start talking about it in July, he loves the creepiness of it, he loves getting dressed up, he loves decorating, and most of all he loves the candy. When decorating he decks out his house, everywhere you look there's some sort or creepy decoration, he loves carving pumpkins and trying to make them look terrifying. His costumes vary from year to year, maybe one year he's something more creative like a super hero that wasn't heard of much, or like a famous artist ( like David Bowie), but other years he likes doing classics ( Werewolf, Vampire, Frankenstein.) Also he probably convinced Eddie to dress up as Sally while he dressed up as Jack from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Eddie- Poor Eddie isn't able to enjoy Halloween as much as the other losers due to his Mother, every year she would take his candy away saying it's bad for his teeth or that it was poisoned. He would kinda decorate behind his Mom's back, he'd hide pumpkins that he and Richie carved outside and would steal some of Richie's decorations to put around. His costumes would be kinda bland, most years he'd go as those white sheet ghosts. As he got older though he'd break away from his Mom's control and get creative with his costumes. ( the more male version of Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas, a doctor, ect.)
Bev- She loves Halloween with her whole heart, I feel like her and Richie gang up and prank the others all the time, they'd also prank each other often. Her and Richie would probably have horror movie nights when ever she didn't want to be home with her Dad. She'd help Richie decorate his house since her Dad never really celebrated Halloween, she help him deck it out making sure it lived up to both their standards. Her costumes would always be horror movie characters ( kinda like how Max in stranger things had a Michael Myers costume.) I also feel like she and Ben would match costumes some years.
Ben- He would be like Stan and prefer the aspect of Autumn over Halloween but for other reasons. I feel like Ben would be creeped out by all the Halloween stuff but after meeting Bev and seeing how much she liked Halloween he'd slowly get more into it. His house wouldn't be scary decorated, he'd have cute friendly ghost decorations, and cute pumpkins. He likes Halloween when it's cozy and you get candy without being freaked out.
Mike- I feel like before meeting the losers Mike didn't celebrate Halloween since he was home schooled and he just didn't want to deal with the racism around town. After meeting the losers though he'd celebrate, dressing up with them, going trick r treating, decorating his house, and even sometimes watching horror movies with Bev and Richie. One year he had asked his Grandpa if he could turn the barn into a horror house for his friends and luckily his Grandpa agreed, that year started off a tradition of Mike making a haunted house/ barn for the losers every year and everyone loved it. Richie would help Mike with his costumes, he'd take him out shopping and try and find the coolest stuff for him to wear, Mike liked going as classic horror movie creatures, Frankenstein, The Wolf Man, even Dracula.

Never apologize for ranting about the things you love on your own blog! If you can’t do it on a blogging platform, where else can you do it?
I’m assuming the numbers are a specific digit. I won’t assume you have Photoshop or anything like that, but if you can download a free program like Paint.Net I would use the text feature to type those numbers out on a font and colour you like, arrange them into a necklace shape, and layer them over the neck of whatever faceclaim you end up using. I’ve done similar things with adding stuff to my icons before such as blood, tears, scars or tattoos. Does it look completely professional? Eh, no really. But it works for the aesthetic and showing people what your character is meant to look like. Even better if you format your icons to a smaller size like 150x150 or smaller bc then you can’t really pick up on subtle signs a photo has been altered
It might be worth it to bring that idea to an icon maker and see if that’s something you could commission for if you’re not confident in your photo editing abilities.
Regardless, I wish you luck! Cypher sounds like a cool muse!
//They are indeed! The numbers aren't actually ever given in canon, but the opening credits of the show has all the major cast and crew names come up onscreen as numbers that blur into letters. I used Danny's actor's numbers for the numbers around Cypher's neck and Alex's actor's numbers for the numbers around Cypher's wrists. (Alex was Danny's boyfriend.) I don't have photoshop, but I'm currently relearning how to use GIMP, which is a free, open-source software in the same vein as photoshop. I used to use it all the time for making promos, transparencies, and icons. Not using it for like 2 years has left me a bit rusty, but I'm starting to get the hang of it again. I'll have to check out Paint.Net and see how that is to use. Thus far I've got a mostly finished transparency of Ben Whishaw in the role of Danny and references for Cypher's antlers and ears. I have a vague idea of how to change his hair color and bits of his skin color to match his roe deer coloring. That image is waist up and doesn't include his hands, so I don't have to worry about his claws or deer legs. If I can get one decent image I swear I'm gonna make like 8 different icons out of it on top of a promo. XD
And thank you! I'm glad you think he sounds interesting! He's not generated a whole lot of interest thus far, but I'm hoping getting together a promo for him that I can put on my canon blogs might help. This fandom seems pretty good with OCs, and he is, for all intents and purposes, basically that when it comes to his not being canon to this universe. Although to be honest, his canon blog didn't generate a whole lot of interest in the Bond/Criminal Minds/Hannibal/assorted-spy-type-things fandom, either. But that might be because he's from a relatively obscure source (for something that's not even 10 years old) that's not the most watchable thing in the world, I'll be honest. I enjoy it, but I'm also the sort of person who will sit down and watch Metropolis just because. He comes from a spy thriller-esque miniseries called London Spy. It's rather dense and kind of gritty and has a lot of details that only become important like two episodes later.
Cypher, btw, is @theliarshart for anybody interested, since this us now my second (rather long) post in a row about him. >_>;;;

Would it be too annoying of me if I ask how that date between nerdy Benedict and Confident Sophie went? 🙈
You asked for this ages ago but let's do it
Flight Lieutenant Sophie Beckett going out with Benedict Bridgerton
Benedict could hardly believe it when the text came through just after lunch, when he sat, editing photographs on his computer, sliding his glasses up his nose.
Hey, this is Sophie, Kate's friend. Do you still want to get a drink tonight?
He'd practically fallen over himself to respond. He'd seen her this morning, sitting in her car, outside Anthony's house her sunglasses perched on her head as she beeped the horn irritatedly, the sun shining in her hair neatly pinned up, and his stomach had swooped, his eyes flicking to her as he continued down the street, startled as Kate burst through the door muttering.
"I can hardly fucking walk, christ he's a smug twat."
And Ben hadn't even had it in him to be disgusted, because the girl was staring at him now, smiling. And unbelievably she'd asked for his phone number, without even talking to him, she'd just smiled at him, and handed over her phone, confidence radiating off her as she introduced herself, still smiling at him as he stumbled over himself to introduce himself, his heart trailing after her as she winked at him, her car speeding away.
Yeah. Yes. Definitely. I Definitely want to do that.
Ben had groaned as he stared down at the blue circle he'd sent out to her. Are you physically incapable of being cool?! Christ!
His stomach swirling as he saw three dots appear Cute. Want to pick me up or meet me there?"
Pick you up. I can pick you up at 6. I'll get us a car.
He honestly couldn't believe it. She really didn't seem deterred. Great I'm at 287 West Brigham. Looking forward to it x
Ben spent the rest of the afternoon in a stupor. Calling Anthony in a panic.
"Kate's hot pilot friend wants to go out with me!"
"Sophie? You think Sophie's hot?"
Ben had scoffed, Anthony was maybe a little too obsessed with Kate these days if he wasn't able to be objective here. "Yes, Sophie's hot. Stop being so obsessed with Kate!"
Anthony's voice had been surprisingly vehement on the other end before he hung up, "I will never stop being obsessed with Kate, get your head out of your arse Ben!"
He'd spent the rest of the afternoon trying to pick out the right plaid shirt, finally settling on a yellow one that he decided he hated as soon as he sat in the back of the car he'd ordered, sighing as he plucked at the front of the grey sweater he'd put over it.
"I'll be right back, Mate." He said when they pulled up outside Sophie's building, his stomach swirling uncomfortably as he stepped onto the street.
"Oh for fuck's sake!" Ben sighed as Sophie pushed the glass door open, stepping onto the street herself, her dress tight against her, the silver shining in the evening light, her smile bright as she caught sight of him, completely oblivious to the way his heart was trying to pound out of his chest when she wrapped her arms around him, kissing his cheek, as though it meant nothing.
"Hey, cute sweater." She plucked at the front of it, still standing so close to him, he could hardly breathe.
"You look really pretty! Silver is a great colour." For fuck's sake, could the ground just swallow him?!
"And we match."
She was still smiling at him as she took his hand tugging him back towards the car. "I know a really nice bar just a little ways from here."
And really, Ben would have followed her anywhere.
"So how do you know Kate?" They were sitting close to one another, her knees brushing his in the corner of the booth, and he could hardly breathe, "I mean, you work together but how did you meet?"
"We met at the officer's academy. Two girls, and a lot of boys, we stuck together."
Ben nodded, endlessly curious about her, he'd listen to her talk forever. "I like Kate, she's really good for Anthony, he um... he takes things kind of hard, and Kate's good at getting him to relax."
Her smile was almost too beautiful, "Kate's my favourite person."
"How did you get into the RAF ? doesn't seem like your thing."
She stiffened for just a moment, long enough for him to panic.
"Sophie, I'm sorry, you don't have to-"
She shrugged, "It's fine. Um... My Dad died, when I was 15, and his wife, not my mum she was his secretary and she died when I was three, his wife didn't like me. So um, she sent me to military school, just to get me out of the house I think and then she got me into the officer's academy and she said it was the last thing I'd ever have from her."
His chest was aching, "I'm so sorry."
She shrugged again, "It's not all bad. I actually like being a pilot, and Kate's Step Mum Mary took pity on me the first time she came to visit Kate, sent me care packages, still does, she's kind of like my Mum now too."
Ben couldn't help but smile, even as she shook her head.
"So what do you do? Sorry, I just realised that I don't really know that much about you. You just kind of seem so familiar to me."
Ben startled, "Oh um... I'm an artist? Photography mostly but I do some oil paintings."
He suddenly felt a little stupid, self conscious, embarrassed to tell a woman who flew hundred of thousands of pounds worth of aircraft that he messed about with a camera.
"That's cool, would you photograph me?"
Ben stopped, his mind whirring as she leaned closer to him, and suddenly he couldn't stop himself from asking, "Sorry, what are we doing here?"
Her eyebrows raised, "Um I think people call it dating? I saw you, I thought you looked sweet and you're kind of really hot so I asked you out? And now I'm having a pretty good time."
He couldn't keep the smile off his face. "I'm having a great time too. And um... I also think you're... wildly hot."
Silence echoed between them for a long moment, before he plucked up all his courage and said,
"These photos you want? Are they inside or outside the bedroom?"
And when he got home, the feeling of Sophie's lips still warm against his, he groaned just as he got into bed, looking down at his phone.
It's not very tastefully lit, but maybe you can give me a few pointers next time.
Accompanied by a picture of her bare chest.

Quotes (N-S)
Nicknames
"I need a cool one. Luke has L Train. Sometimes people say O-something, O-Dog. But it's not really the same....It's like, someone has to give you a nickname. You can't just start saying, "Call me Ace." It's like it needs....a good back story."
Nudity
"I have no problem with nudity in movies. I guess I'm for it. I always remember when I was a kid seeing 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High' and Phoebe Cates coming out of the swimming pool. I don't think there's a great demand for me to do nudity so you may not be seeing that any time soon."
Oscar
"Going to the awards was great, but I was more nervous about this skit I'd filmed with Ben Stiller for it," says Owen. "I knew we weren't going to win though. I kept saying to Wes, `No, I guarantee it's going to be Gosford Park'." He was right.
"It was coloured by the fact that I was doing the thing with Ben, doing the skit, so I was really nervous about that, having to do something life. It wasn't live, but going up there, so it was more kind of anxious about that and really that took my mind off of that part of it. Although, right before, I didn't think that we were going to [win]. You sort of get a feel with who wins the Writer's Guild award, like what's going to happen. You just kind of sense that we weren't going to win, it was going to be Gosford Park. But right before, you kind of start feeling we're gonna win it. Even though I'd been saying to Wes before, 'No, I guarantee you it's going to be Gosford Park. And if not Gosford Park, it's going to be this.' Right before, it's like 'Son of a ***** we're gonna win.'"
Parents
"I would like my dad to be Jack Nicholson and my mother to be Meryl Streep. My brothers and I always thought my dad looked a little bit like Jack Nicholson in the '70s, and my mom has kind of a distinctive face like Meryl Streep."
Playboy Mansion
"Have you ever been to the Playboy Mansion? I love it. There's that part called the Grotto - just the name conjures up erotica."
"I was more excited there than going to the White House. I was like an 11-year-old looking in people's garbages for Playboys," says Wilson. "I was like, Hefner! He's real. He's not a stuffed animal."
📷(When did you realize you weren't in Texas anymore?)"I think when I saw Wes Anderson slumped in a corner in the Playboy Mansion with his corduroys down around his ankles."
Pollution
"There oughta be a law against polluting the oceans. Not to sound corny or a Playmate type answer, but it's really a bummer to go down to the beach and have it polluted."
Porsches
"There are so many jerks that drive them. But I probably haven't been this excited about a material possession since I first got these Adidas Velcro shoes when I was 12. I'd wake up in the morning and the first thing I'd do was look at my shoes. That's kind of how it was when I first got the Porsche: parking it in the parking lot and walking away, then turning back and taking another look."
(talking about his & Luke's matching Porsches)"It looked really obnoxious when we lived together, to have two black Porsches parked side by side out front."
Respect
"Maybe it’s from growing up with my dad, who can be real funny but who can also be kind of moody, up and down. So I became good at getting along with tricky personalities. And growing up in Texas, it was important that we be polite. When I meet these guys like Eddie Murphy, Bruce Willis, and Jackie Chan, I’m always super respectful. Then I get to know them, and then I can start to kid around with them.”
Roy O'Bannon
"Oh yeah, probably. I have a better disposition, but I have my days. Maybe I'm more like Roy than I care to admit," he says, sounding pleased with himself. "I play him as a person who's guilty of the seven deadly sins to the extreme - that makes him funny. I suffer from all those sins. Especially in jealousy, and self-absorption - is that a sin?"
"My character talks about his feelings getting hurt. He wonders why cowboys and Indians can't get along."
"I play him as a person who's guilty of the seven deadly sins to the extreme - that makes him funny. I suffer from all those sins. Especially in jealousy, and self-absorption - is that a sin?"
"One of the best parts about working on this movie was being able to tell people that, no, I couldn’t have lunch because I was working on my fast draw, and that my trainer was coming over to teach me gun tricks. I’d spent a small amount of time on horses when I was a kid, but basically I had to start again. I don’t think I look like Roy Rogers, but I look okay."
(Owen had to take breaks from writing Rushmore with Wes Anderson, to prepare for his role as Roy O'Bannon) ''Every day I'd have to get a pass from our writing sessions to go take horseback riding and fast-draw lessons,'' Wilson tells EW Online. ''That's one of the best things about acting. You think about working as a doctor or selling real estate, but in what other job is the work developing a fast draw?'' Last Thanksgiving, he trotted out his play guns and gave an exhibition for his family, who had no idea he'd been practicing. ''I started doing a little bit of the twirling, and they were freaking out,'' says Wilson. ''It was like if I couldn't dance at all and then suddenly went some place with my brothers and started moving like Travolta.''
"As a kid you fantasize about being in Led Zeppelin, basically for the girls," says Wilson, 31. "That was my idea for this guy. He wanted to be an outlaw for the girls. He's not that interested in the actual outlaw part of it."
"It's my soap opera look!" - about his hairstyle in a scene from Shanghai Noon.
Rushmore 📷
"I was driving from Dallas to LA with Wes Anderson, to work on the script for Bottle Rocket, and we thought that if we were meeting with agents we should have some other projects to talk about. So along the way we came up with this funny character Max Fischer, a megalomaniacal kid who doesn't have much irony or self-awareness - kind of like a Donald Trump book on tape. Max loves school but is a terrible student."
Scarface 📷
"The movie that really blew me away was Scarface. When Tony Montana is riding in th car with the hit squad from Bolivia and says, "It makes you feel big to kill a little kid?" I was thinking, "If they blow up those kids, I just can't take it anymore." And then Montana says, "You die!" and he shoots him in the head--it's too much."
School
"It was for cheating in geometry. We had the teachers-edition book. I was one of the worst geometry students and I was handing in these extra-credit problems that were, like, hundreds of lines of complicated proofs. There were other kids involved who I wouldn't name. I figured there was a kind of shabby nobility in that. The headmaster said it showed that I still protect cheaters."
"I was completely indifferent. It drove my parents crazy."
"Mr. Connelly, my seventh-grade English teacher, his comment was, 'Owen has his head up in the clouds, he needs to come down, he's wasting time up there.'"
"Nineteen-Seventy-five? Wowww..." says the Dallas-born Wilson. "I was at Lamplighter’s, which was a kinda progressive school: ‘The student is not a vessel to be filled but a lamp to be lit.’ It was a cool place. We did art and drama and played ukuleles." (You have to hear him talk to properly appreciate how elastic words can be.) "And when I was seven years old the most exciting thing going on in my life was my speech impediment." "Really?" says Stiller. "I didn’t know you had one." "Uh-huh. But I was quite proud of it because it set me apart from my brothers [Andrew, a director, and fellow actor Luke]. My timetable was always crammed with speech lessons but sometimes my mom would say, ‘What’s on the agenda today, Owen?’ and I’d be like, ‘Nothing, this is my fwee day.’"
When I got kicked out of school, my parents sent me to a psychiatrist. I actually liked the sessions. I don’t know if that means I’m self-absorbed, but I liked trying to figure stuff out."
"I like not studying and being lazy and goofing off when I knew that wasn't the thing to do," he says, but he didn't enjoy being " at a school where no one cared, no one does homework, and no one was like, 'Owen's special' anymore." He then opted for a place that made even less sense: military school. " I graduated private first class, lowest-ranking person in my grade," he says of his two year stint at New Mexico Military Institute. "If you look at your life as a story, I kind of like the fact that I went to military school."
"I was involved in high school drama in terms of I was kicked out of high school, and that created some drama - I went to military school in New Mexico," he jokes.
“That’s what I finally got kicked out for was cheating but it was an accumulation of things,” admits Wilson. “In Geometry we had the teacher’s edition book so I was handing in all these extra credit problems to make up for my bad test grades but the extra credit problems are obviously the hard problems. So the teacher was getting all these extra credit problems from the worst student in the class.”
📷"I went to St. Mark's, which is the alma mater of Boz Scaggs and Steve Miller. I heard that Steve Miller got thrown out. I was expelled for excessive troublemaking, but the final straw was cheating in geometry."
Screen chemistry
"You can't force onscreen chemistry. Either you have it or you don't," says Wilson, who bonded with Murphy over a mutual love of Elvis. "When I met with Jackie Chan before we started filming Shanghai Noon, it was really kind of awkward and didn't help at all when we started shooting."
"Every movie I've been in they say, "You have great chemistry", whoever I've been with. Sort of the way I've never worked on a movie where the dailies haven't been "incredible". And I always fall for it."
Sex scenes
"There are tougher ways to spend the day, believe me."
Shanghai Noon
"There wasn't hardly anything from the original script for Shanghai Noon that ended up in the finished film. That's a really hard way to make a movie. We're starting from a much better place this time."
"Being in a bathtub with Jackie Chan, I don't know, it has a way of bonding you I'll tell you that. I don't know if there are some weird undertones. It was like we had met in Los Angeles and we didn't have that much to say to each other but after that bathtub scene we were great friends. What it really was was that when we'd play off each other it really was fun. We really did become friends." - on the bathtub scene.
Sheryl Crow
"One of my favorite things about Sheryl is I think she's a fighter, kind of scrappy," he said in a recent interview. "But the thing that probably goes along with that, which can get a bit tricky, is never being satisfied."
Shyness
In reality, Wilson says he's not as shy as his character. "It depends on the girl," he says. "I think everyone can kind of relate to having this one person that really intimidates and thrills you and makes you feel like an idiot in the stuff you say."
Smoking
"Smoking is obnoxious," he says, pulling onto the highway. "It just fits the profile of some young actor driving, like, an old Mustang with a cigarette. It's like, did you ever see Barfly? And this is actually kind of a cliché to talk about Bukowski. But I love the part in that movie where Mickey Rourke talks about the bartender who just stole his girlfriend, saying, 'Why did it have to be Eddie? He symbolizes everything that disgusts me: obviousness, unoriginal macho energy, ladies man.' "
Sports
"I wasn't good at baseball. I was scared of those crazy Little League pitchers. One pitch is over the backstop, the next hits the dirt six feet in front of you. I played football in high school instead. I was a receiver. I was so so."
"Even now, living in Santa Monica, my main thing is going to the ocean. I love swimming and bodysurfing."
"I grew up swimming in the ocean and bodysurfing. I tried surfing in Manhattan Beach and I was, like, people always talk about how hard this is, but there's not that much to it. It was pretty easy to just get up and ride the white water. But it was sort of a different story when it came to Hawaii and I tried those waves. I kind of stopped surfing after I realized that I was just pearling - which is when your board goes into the water and you flip over - and was about to break my neck. I went back to treading water."
Starsky & Hutch
"It was three weeks into the movie before I found out we weren't doing Dukes of Hazzard."
Stunts
"I learned from working with Jackie Chan (in Shanghai Noon and its sequel, Shanghai Knights) not to do any stunts," Wilson lazily intones about his knack for stealing scenes without breaking a sweat. "I think by the end, all my roles will just be playable from a chair."
"I'd like to be known as the actor who does none of his own stunts. Even bending down to pick something up -- 'Hey, need a stuntman here.' "
Sundance Film Festival
"It's an injustice that still sticks in my craw. I'm not going to say they let in some sh***y movies but there was no way that film couldn't have been in the top 20 movies accepted that year.
"Last year at the Academy Awards, Robert Redford received an Honorary Award and when they showed his work at Sundance they showed a clip of Bottle Rocket. It was never at Sundance. And now they take credit for it."

I match you with....
BEN drowned
Your friend thought it would be a good idea to dare you to mess with the cleverbot, didn't they?
He's not a clingy person and he does respect the fact the you have trust issues, he 'tries' to be patient with you.
He gets curious alot from your mysterious personality but he tries to control himself. you're not a victim for him to want to manipulate, you know.
After a long day you guys lay down next to each other playing video games, eating pizza or watching a new episode of you favorite anime.
He doesn't really understand the fact that how you can stand others getting emotional around you, this boy is a cold-hearted murder and kills innocent people cause he think 'its fun' "ʰᵉ ᶜᵃⁿ'ᵗ ʳᵉᵃᶜʰ ʲᵉᶠᶠ'ˢ ˡᵉᵛᵉˡ ᵗʰᵒ"
In my au BEN knows how to comfort others very well if he wants to, why you ask? couse this mf is master at playing with words and tickling other's emotions.
Sometimes you might even want to come to him for advice cause your classmate's father died a week ago and you don't know how to comfort them. what I'm trying to say is that you can learn from him not that you already don't know.
Sitting in the same room minding you own businesses, doing your own things is also a nother hobby of you guys. I mean, you two don't talk but just knowing the fact that you're with him and he's with you is a heartwarming moment.
He doesn't use nicknames, he thinks its dramatic and the way he shows affection is by spoiling you, by giving you things you never imagined having one day.
Don't be surprised if one day you woke up and you were in middle of your favorite game on Valentine. He wants to be unique, like, he wouldn't go get you a heart shaped box of chocolate and a stuff animal, no he really wouldn't. He wants you to never forget the time you guys have spent with each other.
At first he might be a little bit protective, but in the end he'll see you as the most trustworthy person he has ever met.
-How do you feel about art?
-I mean, you're pretty cool
-What's on your mind?
-You
-Why tho?
-cause ever since i met you, no one alse seems worth thinking about.
-What are you doing?
-Watching the air :/
-....
Allright it's finally done :D
It took a little bit long for me to make this tho -_-" but i hope you enjoyed it ♡

You've Met With A Terrible Fate, Haven't You? || BEN DROWNED
Pairing : Yandere! Ben Drowned X Reader
Genre : Fluff, Angst, Yandere
Summary : Appears as a normal dude, but plot twist he's really not.
Wordcount: 4k lol
WARNINGS : This is fic is labeled as Yandere, for those who don't know what it means: "Somebody who is sweet and kind at first glance. But when it comes to their love (crush)they will act obsessive and violent." - Urban dictionary, poorly (but still disgustingly) described dead people, I know Ben originally doesn't kill but in the story he does, idk? Shit written¿
Also disclaimer this is my first time I've tried doing a yandere and it's obviously not my strongest point. Hope you enjoy either way.
Tumblr media
You glance at the abandoned game console which your friend had dumped at your place earlier this day.
According to him, something was very, very, wrong with it. The Nintendo 64 was old, of course, but your friend mentioned not being able to pass the boss battle. He mentioned something along the lines of 'it keeps glitching and Link keeps dying'. In other words ' I know you're a hacker and I suck at this game, please hack it for me so I can feel less like a loser'.
You keep writing the email you're supposed to sent to your boss for another thirty minutes, before letting your curiosity lead you.
Before you know it, you've plugged in the old console with more cables than originally planned because of how old it is, and with how modern your tv is. The first odd thing that strikes you is that there's only one account on it, and it's not labeled with your friend's name.
Instead of 'Noah', it's labeled with 'BEN DROWNED' in bold passive aggressive letters.
Simply pushing it to the back of your mind, you start playing.
The second odd thing about the game is that the game has a specific date and it mentions how far BEN, or well, Noah is in the game. Yet when you click it, you have to start all over.
You shrug that off too, simply noting it as the game being old.
Before you know it, several hours pass, and you're finally at the boss battle Noah mentioned. Deciding to see if you can beat it first, you do not plug your laptop in at the Nintendo 64, and opt to play instead.
However just like Noah mentioned, you die as soon as you're close to winning and the game starts glitching.
It takes you barely ten minutes before you're fed up with it, and soon enough you plug your laptop in. You start up some programs and open up a few sites, quickly starting to work. Your fingers glide over the keys of your laptop as you type in the codes in order to hack the game, however after a few minutes, the game starts glitching heavily, and suddenly there's a sentence in bold red letters on the screen of your tv.
' YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE THAT'
It says before the glitching becomes way too much, and some weird kind of red circle appears. Your eyes widen before unplugging the tv and game console, forgetting that your laptop is connected to it.
You miss the small glitches on the laptop screen.

He gritts his teeth as the access to his portal is suddenly denied, the power cut early enough to avoid him.
His red eyes wander in the green coded space, looking for an exit, something that'll make sure he can get his hands on whoever this is. Lucky for him, there's a small white space what'll lead to the outside of it.
Once he's trough, he realizes he's still close to his victim. In fact, he's even closer now.
He smirks as he realizes.
Killing her is fair game now.

You tap your chin as you look as the items on the shelf.
" Should I get the red one or green one?" You mumble to yourself.
" I'd recommend the green one. Green is always better." A voice from behind you startles you.
You whip your head around to look at the stranger who's talking to you.
Behind you is a male you don't recognise from anywhere. And as you start to study him, you realize he's quite handsome. He's got blonde hair, blue eyes and a rosy skin colour. He's wearing black ripped jeans, a dark green shirt, along with a black zip up hoodie, which is left open, he's got a few black ear piercings in his right ear, and has a gold chain around his neck, which disappears beneath his shirt, weighed down by a charm hidden away from your eyes. To top it all of, he's got a matching dark green beanie on top of his messily styled bangs.
" What? Did I say something wrong?" The blonde boy suddenly sweats.
You smile and shake your head.
" No, you didn't. I just tough I was alone here." You smile at him.

" I take that you talk to yourself then?" The male spits at you.
You're not sure if that's meant offensive or not.
" Um, yeah? I tend to do that sometimes yeah." You say, looking down at your hands who're still holding the red silk scarf and green silk scarf.
Đø₦'₮ ฿ɇ ₳₣ɽ₳łđ, ł ₩ø₦'₮ ⱨʉɽ₮ ɏøʉ. Øɽ ₩łⱡⱡ ł?
The unknown male's eyes soften subconsciously, looking at you with an emotion you're not familiar with.
" My name is Ben. What's yours?"
Ben? Haven't you heard that somewhere before?
You smile at him, oblivious to the fact that you're talking to a killer.
" I'm Y/N. Nice to meet you Ben."

His mind flooded with ideas.
There's so many options on what he can do to her.
Should he mess with her laptop?
Should he just kill her now?
Or should he become closer?
Maybe he should.
He looks at her trough the screen of the laptop, which is almost always open, today not being any different.
He watches her as while she watches something behind the laptop, from the sounds he can hear trough the mic, she's most likely watching tv.
Perhaps he should become closer to her.
Pull her closer only to have her blood staining his hands.
Oh yes, her blood shall soon become his.

She doesn't realize it when her laptop suddenly starts itself up, nor does she know that there's a figure crawling out of it.
He stared at her with deciphering eyes, silently wondering how she isn't dead yet.
If this was anyone else, he'd had them killed already. Their blood would already be staining his face and she would already be screaming in pain and dispair.
Yet here she was, laying peacefully on her bed. Asleep, obviously not dead.
He wonders exactly what he should do next. She doesn't know that he's standing right next to her. It almost makes him laugh.
She doesn't even know that he exists.
She doesn't know that he's here.
He glares at her before moving back into the world of codes and technology.
For now, she lives.

" And then it suddenly started glitching and stuff. Weird isn't it?" You finish off your story as you look at your new friend, Ben.
After meeting in the grocery store, he had suddenly texted you.
Not knowing how he got your number, you got concerned, and asked him. According to him, you had given it to him yourself. At first you didn't believe him, until he told you to check the time of his first message, which somehow was indeed around the same time you were in the grocery store. After that you just shrugged it off as that you forgot it yourself. After all, you knew yourself to be a person with the memory of a goldfish.
Today the two of you met up again, for the fourth time this week.
" Odd indeed. What did you do after that?" Ben asked, acting as if he's interested, even tough he's really not.
" I unplugged it. I think I'm gonna lay off hacking for a while." You shrugged, taking a sip of your drink.
Before he could even think of a response, there was an unknown woman at your table, also holding a cup of coffee.
" Y/N? Long time no see." The new woman greeted you with a smile, sitting down beside you on the booth.
Ben scowled at the newcomer.

" Hey, Sara. It's indeed been too long. How are you?" You started chatting with Sara.
Meanwhile Ben's anger only grew.
" My names Ben." Ben suddenly dryly joined your conversation as he slammed his drink down onto the table aggressively, looking straight into Sara's eyes.
" Sorry. Didn't see you there. I'm Sara nice to mee-"
" Yeah, yeah, whatever. Leave. We didn't invite you to come sit with us." Ben spat at her, looking at her with an intense look in his eyes.
Both you and your friend turned to look at him in confusion.
" Is something wrong with me being here? Did I offend you?" Sara asked, genuinely concerned.
Ben was fuming now, on the inside. Who does this girl think she is? First she comes to sit at their table uninvited, then she's capturing the attention of his new favorite plaything, and now she's questioning him? She has to go.

He heard her conversation with a male he certainly doesn't know trough her phone, using the microphone without her knowing.
According to what he knows, they're on a date. And according to her contacts, his name is Jaime. He can't find where they met, nor did he know why they met up.
But now that she's checked her reflexion one too many times, and made a pic of her full outfit to send to him, probably to mock him for not having her, ɏɇ₮, he realizes that she's on a date.
After some research by surfing quite literally trough the internet. It turned out this 'Jaime' person was Mexican, and had a soft persona. On his facebook page were pictures where he's working with animals or doing volunteers' work or overall just something where he's helping others. He found the black haired male pathetic, weak even.
In all honesty, even he himself didn't really find him a threat. Not when he looked like that and was overall just kind and bambi looking.
However, all his expectations are thrown out of the window when he hears them say their goodbyes.
" You know, I had a lot of fun tonight. You're really a nice person. In fact, I'd like to go on another date with you again." This voice was definitely that of a male's, probably Jaime.
" I agree. I had a lot of fun too." She said.
₣Ʉ₦? ⱧØ₩ ₵₳₦ Ł₮ ฿Ɇ ₳₦Ɏ ₣Ʉ₦ ₩Ł₮ⱧØɄ₮ ₥Ɇ?
" Good. Do you have a ride or would you like me to drive you home?-" He blocks out the rest of their conversation.
It appears that the good guy needs to go too.

" We should spend more time together." Ben says randomly as the two of you snuggle on the couch.
You giggle, your ears tinting red.
" We're already together all the time tough." You tell him softly.
" I know, but still. By the way, did your stupid date reply yet?" He asked, eyes focused on the tv in front of the two of you.
" No, and don't call him stupid." You pout, softly scolding him.
₲ØØĐ
He grins at you with mysterious eyes.
You shrug it off, knowing it's part of him. The two of you have been hanging out for a while now. Almost three months to be precise. And you two have gotten very close. What used to be keeping distance and keeping the line between acquaintances and friends, had turned into friends or something more. You two almost hung out every day, you were basically attached to each other's hip now.
After a few peacefull moments, you excused yourself to the bathroom.
Right as you left, your phone rang.
He turned to look at the disturbing sound  his eyes widening at the name which is appearing on the screen.
 SARA
He stumbled over the couch to pick it up, an unpleasant feeling of suprise rising whitin him.
" Y/N?! You have to listen to me! Ben is not who you think he is! He's this-"
" I'm this what?" Ben smirked.
Damn you were taking a long time in the bathroom, not that he minded.
The other end of the line was dead silent.
" Don't worry. You don't need to say anything. I'll come home soon. And trust me, once I am, you will never be able to speak a word again." He spoke, an eerie calm in his voice.
" Goodbye, Sara." He said before hanging up.
" Sara called?" Your voice suddenly startled him.
" What? Oh, yeah. But she was in a hurry so she said she'd call you later." He smiled innocently.
You nodded and the two of you resumed watching the movie.
" Isn't there a way, that we could spend more time together?" He suddenly wondered out loud.
You sighed and turned to face him.
" I'm sorry Ben, but I have a job and I like spending time with other people too. So I'm afraid not." You told him softly.
An idea coded itself into his mind.

You sighed in dispair in the night air as you walked home. Once again, you were rejected in a job interview.
A few days ago you were fired from the job you actually liked. You couldn't understand why either. You didn't do anything wrong, you were quite hardworking and always finished the documents in time.
Your supervisor looked afraid, terrified even when he told you to immediately pack your bags and leave, and ever since you just can't seem to get in anywhere. Not even the gas station wanted you in charge.
" Well hello there. What do we have here." A creepy voice suddenly sounded from behind you.
You turned around only to be greeted by a man with a creepy smile and even creepier, eye lid-less eyes. He was holding a knife, making his intentions obvious.
You didn't need to think twice about his intentions and whipped your phone out of your pocket with the intentions to call the cops and running.
The killer sadly isn't stupid, and has you on the ground under him whitin seconds.
Your phone's screen crack and slides to the other side, the dialed number not pressed on call yet.
" Don't cry sweetheart. It doesn't suit your pretty face. Don't fret, I'll make sure, you'll smile forever. " The killer tells you happily.
Both of you don't realize that your phone screen suddenly lights up in a green colour. Nor does either of you realize the figure crawling out of it.
The both of you don't realize, until the killer is off you and tackled down on the ground beside you.
" I've told you before. She's fucking mine. Go bother someone else." Ben's voice sounds suddenly.
You turn your head to look at him.
This time he does not wear jeans and a sweater. No  this time, he looks like he came straight out of a... Video game? He looks like Link, the main personage of the game which your friend Noah had dropped off at your place around six months ago.
Ben never told you he was into cosplaying.
Your ears suddenly tinted pink as you realized, he called you his. Suddenly you felt a little giddy, the guy you like so much might actually like you back.
The killer underneath Ben growls out something you can't hear before throwing the shorter off him and leaving.
" Are you okay?" You ask him.
He turns to you with red eyes.
Red. Fucking. Eyes.
And that's not the only thing about his eyes that changed.
Instead of the usual white eyes have, his are now black.
And even there it doesn't end.
There's blood running down his eyes onto his cheeks, as if he's crying blood.
You take a step back.
What the fuck is this?
" Don't be afraid! I know I look a little... Weird, but it's all just part of my..... Cosplay." He explains.
You ponder over it.
He's never gave you a reason to not trust you right? Or did he?
You ignore the instinct to run away from him, instead choosing to calm down and follow your heart, which is telling you to trust him.
" Come with me. You can stay at my place tonight." Ben tells you, holding his hand out to you.
You take it.

It took longer than expected to reach his house. The whole road to his house is creepy. Ben appartly lives in this supermodern house in the woods.
Which is off already, the woods are known troughout the whole town as mystery. According to urban legends, there's creatures loving in there who shouldn't exist. Because of that, there's barely any people there. According to Ben, everything is all clear and safe, and you trust him with your heart.
You don't question him after his answer and instead follow him into the, indeed very, modern little house which is situated hidden behind the trees.
You get directly hit in the face with a copper scent as soon as you step foot into his house.
" Would you like something to drink?" He asks you as you enter his house, neither of you bothering to take your shoes off.
" Just water please." You tell him as you study the place.
The inside of the small house is more modern than the outside, with a big living space and an open kitchen. There's also three doors in the hallway.
One to the bathroom, one leading upstairs and one leading into the basement.
" Here you go." Ben returns, handing you a glass of water.
" Thanks, aren't you going to take off your make up and lenses?" You ask him.
His smile fades a bit, and for a moment you think you've accidentally offended him, but he nods with a pout before you can think about it twice.
" Yeah, that's probably a good idea. The livingroom is at the end of this hallway, feel free to make yourself comfortable." He smiles before going upstairs.
You stand still for a moment in the hallway as an eerie feeling suddenly starts crawling up your spine.
You ignore it, and instead start walking towards the livingroom.
Until the sound of something falling reaches your ears.
A sound that is directed from the basement.
Your first idea is to call for Ben, to alert him that you two probably aren't alone.
You don't do that however, because it could just be something falling off a shelf, right?
And so you decide to investigate it yourself.
As soon as you open the door to the basement, you're directly hit in the face with a very prominent copper scent. The same on you already smelled when you entered his house, except it's way too strong and there's something eerily familiar about it which you just can't pinpoint.
You silently push the door open, and turn on the lightswitch to the basement. Behind the door is a stony staircase, the rest of the basement is hidden away behind a wall. Curiosity takes over you, and you make your way downstairs before you can think about it twice.
As soon as you near the bottom, you spot blotches of red. The deep red substance is spread like a trail from he bottom stairs onto the rest of the room.
And then it clicks in your mind. It's blood. That's also the smell in the air. Was the intruder injured?
You step down the stairs while following the blood trail with you eyes.
You stumble back in fear and unpleasant suprise at the sight that greets you.
There's dead people down here. Most of which you don't recognise, but a few you do.
You gasp as you look into a pair of wide blue eyes.
Sara.
She's sitting there, eyes wide open, with cuts all over. There's big ones in her rib case and near her organs, you can even see Intestines spread over the floor.
She's obviously dead.
But how come she's here?
Ben didn't do this? Did he?
Next to her is Jaime, who's eyes are closed but his chest is rising and falling.
He's alive.
You run over to him and shake him awake, not minding the blood that's now on your hands.
" Jaime! Please! Wake up!" You say desperately, tears now escaping your eyes.
" Y/N? Y/N! You have to get out of here. Ben, he's not who you think he is!" He tells you desperately.
" I'm not leaving you! Can you walk?" You ask him trough your tears.
" I'm chipped Y/N, you have to go. Get help. Ben's insane. He's a de-"
" Demon? Mass murderer? Failure? Dead? Is one of those what you wanted to tell her? How dare you lie to her! I'm none of those!" A voice suddenly booms trough the air.
You turn around while starting to shake. Jaime tries to hold you close to him with the little strength he has left. There Ben stands, still with red pupils and black eyes, dried red streaks still on his cheeks.
" Don't fucking touch her." Ben screams angrily, ripping you all but gently away from the male, causing you to tremble against him.
" Don't be afraid my love, he won't touch you again." Ben sushes you.
Is he really thinking that you're afraid of him?
" N-no. Let me go. Do-don't touch me." You tell him, pushing away from him.
He looks confused by your behavior.
" What's wrong baby? Please don't believe whatever lies he told you.-"
" What lies?! That you've killed my friend?! That you've killed these innocent people?! That you've chipped him?!" You yelled.
" They all deserved it Y/N! They're all in the way of our love!" Ben yells back desperately, stepping towards you.
" I don't even know these people!" You say, stepping back into the wall, knocking into a shelf.
You turn around to see what you knocked into.
Wait, is that the Nintendo 64?
" They all stared at you with sick twisted ideas! They really do deserve it." He tells you.
Suddenly it clicks in your mind.
" You're Ben from the game." You state.
He nods.
" Yes bu-"
" How?.."
" You clicked my game onto your computer remember."
" It was you wasn't it? You're the reason I've lost my job. You're the reason my friends all turned their back to me." You wishper, eyes now gathering in your eyes.
You've been so incredibly fucking stupid.
He's the reason your life has turned down the drain.
" Yes. But it's good right. Now we can finally be together." He says like a crazy man in love.
Which he is.
You start sobbing as you fall onto your knees realizing, all these people here. They've all died because of you.
" Hey, don't worry my live. We can now finally be together."

CHAPTER TWELVE | finale  ( song | song to say goodbye - placebo )
"God, why are so many streetlights out?" Klaus asks uncomfortably, as the trio finally slowed their pace once the sound of the helicopters faded away.
"Vanya kinda just destroyed a whole block. Something probably happened to the power for this section of the grid." Ben rationalised, his hand still held tight by Melanie as they walked towards what glowed as a more well lit area, when a idea sparks in her mind.
"Oh, hold up." Melanie says, stopping the two men as she jumps, pulling her knees up and stomping her feet down as she lands, the soles of her boots glowing purple and illuminating the darkness like glow sticks.
It was a while ago, but she knew paying for the light up boots off aliexpress would be a good decision one day.
"I love you so much." Klaus smiles, the light now shining on their path and illuminating the small area around them.
"Love you too, Kaykay." Melanie smiles, as they start walking again.
It doesn't take them incredibly long to get to the bowling alley, the sound of pins falling and families cheering as they approached the building with colourful neon out front, the look of the place not changing at all in the last thirteen years since she'd been there last.
Melanie cringed as she put on the bowling shoes, the cream, red and blue not matching her outfit at all, or supporting her aching feet as her siblings spoke around her.
"Look, I hate to be the one to say this, but everyone needs to prepare." Luther says gravely, Diego responding defensively in an instant.
"For what?"
"To do whatever it takes to stop Vanya."
Allison immediately hits him with her notepad, Melanie still eyeing him aggressively as she sat beside Five.
"We may not have a choice, Allison!"
"Bullshit. There's always options." Diego calls him out, Melanie quickly jumping on his bandwagon.
"Exactly. Options we wouldn't have to think about if you'd just listened to all of us in the first place." She spits bitterly, enough time passing between the collapse and that moment for her anger to resurface.
"What kind of options do we have anyway?" Five asks, earning a shrug from Diego as Luther stands.
"Look, whatever we decide, we need to find Vanya. And fast, she could be anywhere." Luther says.
"Or… here." Klaus interrupts, shaking the paper in his hands and pointing to an ad as they all gather around him. "Look at this."
"That's right. Her concert is tonight." Diego remembers, his attention getting pulled away by one of the employees as they approach.
"Hello," she smiles cheerfully, "I hate to intrude, but my manager says if you're not gonna bowl, you gotta leave."
Melanie rolls her eyes, Diego turning to them and asking who's turn it is while Luther picks up a ball, sending it over his shoulder and into someone else's lane.
"That doesn't… ugh, move." Melanie instructs him, him side stepping as she uses her powers to pick up a ball and throw it down their lane, looking to him with a smirk as Allison taps her notepad.
She's our sister.
"We're the only ones capable of stopping this. We have a responsibility to dad." Luther comments, earning a groan from Ben.
"Would you shut up about him for five minutes?" He asks, both Klaus and Melanie raising their eyebrows at his instant reaction, while the others turn to Diego.
"To Dad? No, I've heard enough about-"
"He sacrificed everything to bring us back together." Luther cuts him off, Melanie standing and crossing her arms as she looks up to him.
"Yeah? Well he sacrificed all of us without our permission for us to be together in the first place."
"I'm with Luther on this one." Five agrees, Melanie throwing her hands up in frustration as she walks a few steps away towards Allison instead. "We can't give her a chance to fight back. There are billions of lives at stake. We're past trying to save just one."
"Hey uh, you know, guys, maybe I could help." Klaus interjects, looking to Ben hopefully before Luther waves him off.
"Now is not the time."
"No, let him finish." Diego defends, before Melanie can even open her mouth to do so. "He saved my life today."
"Really?" Ben asks, as Klaus stands up, not correcting him once again.
"Is it true?" Luther asks.
"Yeah, yeah. I did… take credit for it." He corrects, Melanie sending him a proud smile as he speaks, "In fact the real hero, was Ben."
Luther looks at Klaus like he's grown two heads, while Diego looks a little less confused, but still not understanding.
"Today, listen. Today, he punched me in the face. And earlier at the house, he was the one who saved Diego's life, not me. Melanie held on to both of us and dragged us here, too." He explains, but instead of acceptance or even joy, a look of disgust washes over Luther's face.
"You're unbelievable, Klaus." He says with a shake of his head.
"You want proof, is that it?" Klaus asks, picking up a bowling ball, "All right. I'll give you proof."
"Alright, it's showtime, baby." Klaus sniffs, Melanie taking a step away from Ben who gets in position to catch it, and watching as Klaus throws the ball.
It soars through the air, and keeps soaring through the air, until it lands on the floor, completely phasing through Ben and rolling off behind them.
"Shit, okay look," Melanie says, turning to everyone, "it's true. I saw the whole thing myself. He's telling the truth."
"Yeah, well, I don't exactly trust you either." Luther comments, her head snapping to him as his comment processes.
"Excuse me?"
"You've been in each others pockets for years. Of course you're going to defend him. And don't bring up the whole witches and energies thing again to try and back him up."
"The hell are you doing?" Diego asks, his defenses going up in support of Melanie as he looks to Luther.
Melanie takes a step forward at his words, eyes narrowed and fists clenched as the power within them starts to swirl.
"Until you went all planet of the apes on us, your powers could have been replicated by a quarterback with a bag of steroids and a chip on his shoulder. Don't question my credibility when the same could be asked of you." She replies, him simply scoffing as he looked between her and Klaus.
"Is there anything that could ever stop you two from wanting to be the center of attention?"
"You know," Klaus interrupts, "I liked you a lot better before you got laid. Which you were ridiculously high for, and the girl thought you were a furry-"
"Stop!" Luther yells at him, Klaus rolling his eyes as he scratches his head and looks away.
Allison, fed up with all of them, grabs her notepad, turning and walking away with Luther quickly chasing after her.
"God," Five sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose, "I miss Ben. At least he has some sense in this family."
"I'm honoured." Ben shrugs, crossing his arms as a smile creeps onto his face.
Melanie sits down where Luther and Allison once sat with a sigh, glancing up to Ben with a raised eyebrow before a woman and her son approached.
"Excuse me!" She greets happily, "it's my son Kenny's birthday today, and uh, wouldn't your son be happier playing with kids his own age? Assuming it's okay with your two dads." She asks, looking at Klaus and Diego for an answer as Melanie's hand flies to her mouth to muffle her laughter.
Five looks up at her like he's never been more insulted in his life, sitting forward slightly as he snarls.
"I would rather chew off my own foot."
The woman ushers her son away as a clinking noise pulls his attention away, Melanie sitting silently with tears running down her cheeks from muffled laughter, finally fully breaking as she and Diego lock eyes, the look of despair on his face making her burst out laughing.
"That," Ben sighs, "was golden."
"If I was going to date a man, you'd be the last man I would date." Diego says in disgust, more at the fact the woman thought his standards were so low than the relationship she was insinuating.
"You'd be lucky to get me." Klaus replies, picking up a ball and throwing it down the lane.
Melanie finally sat straight again, sleeves of her shirt wiping her tears away as she watched the ball roll away, noticing Five had walked off down the couple lanes.
"You're both pretty bad options, let's be real." She comments, both men looking at her with insulted looks on their faces.
"That's low, even for you." Diego replies, taking his turn and rolling his eyes at her as she shrugs.
"She isn't wrong." Ben adds, Klaus groaning as he sat down next to Melanie, throwing his arms across the backs of the seats.
"Enough from you, Squidward."
"How long has it been since we came out bowling?" Melanie asks, changing the subject as she got up, picking up a blue splatter design ball and standing at the top of the lane.
"I think we were like, god, maybe seventeen?" Klaus wonders aloud, Diego filling in his gaps.
"The seven of us snuck out under Dad's nose, god knows how we managed it." He smiles, looking to the ground as memories of the night flood back. "We bowled until closing then did everything we could to avoid going home so we didn't have to face the old man's fury."
"Oh, I remember that night." Melanie says quietly, sparing a glance at Ben before making her shot, the ball knocking down most of the pins but leaving her with a spare.
And then, only a couple minutes later, Luther and Allison made their return.
"All right, where's Five?" Luther asks, looking between them.
"He left." Diego replies simply as Klaus joins them again after his turn.
"Oh for the love of… where did he go?"
"Didn't tell us."
Melanie nods her head towards Luther as Klaus stands in front of her, rolling her eyes as she hands him the popcorn they shared, a small smirk of a smile on his face as Luther starts up again.
"Well, we're not waiting around for him. The concert starts in thirty minutes."
"I tell ya, I hate not being at things early. I was three hours early to my Mindless Self Indulgence concert actually-" Melanie remembers fondly, before Diego cuts her off.
"What's the plan?"
"Well," Luther starts, "I think that, uh… We go to the Icarus Theater."
"That's a location, not a plan." Diego deadpans, before a look of disbelief crosses his face, "What, is that all you got?"
Luther looks around nervously, not confirming or denying it and making Melanie scoff as she walks around him, standing beside Diego who takes a step towards him.
"Look, you wanna be Number One, fine. But you're gonna have to get us on the same page, because right now, we're all over the place."
"You're right." Luther agrees, "we need a plan."
But a plan doesn't get the chance to form, as the attention of the siblings turns to the people coming through the doors, guns raised and uniforms one of the weirdest things Melanie had ever seen.
In an instant, bullets are flying. The six of them scrambling for cover as the gunfire comes from all directions, Melanie ducking behind a bench with Ben at her side.
"Who the hell are these guys?!" Diego yells over the deafening noise.
"Maybe they're here for Kenny's birthday!" Klaus yells back at him.
"No," Luther yells, "I'm pretty sure they're here for us."
"What are they, stormtroopers?" Melanie asks, watching as Diego peeks up over the bench, throwing one of his knives and sending one of the goons falling backwards into the sound system, the lights dimming as Bay City Rollers blasts through the bowling alley.
With the bullets halting for a moment, Melanie spares a glance over the top of the bench, watching as Diego and Luther hurled objects at the dozens of attackers.
Using her powers, Melanie pulls shoes from the shelf behind the counter, sending it into the heads of the attackers she could see from her position before ducking back into cover again.
"They're blocking the exits!" Klaus yells, Diego turning to Luther.
"What's the plan now, Luther?"
But instead of looking to Luther, everyone else looks to Allison, who is pointing at the bowling lanes.
"The lanes! Let's go!" Luther calls, before they all make a run for it.
Melanie pushes up from behind the bench, grabbing Ben's hand and pulling him up as she runs for lane eight, breaking into a sprint as she ran down the slippery wood lane before using her powers to break her fall as she skids head first into the pins.
Ben is the first to make it through, standing at the end of the lanes and yelling encouragements while watching each of them pass before following Melanie as they all ran out of the building.
"We're going to the theater, now." Melanie commands, pacing out in front of them as Luther hesitates for a moment, not used to Number Eight being the one making the plans.
Wordlessly, they all follow her, quick on their feet as they burst through the lobby of the theater, the sound of classical music already filling their ears as they run up the stairs, Allison stopping them before they can run into the concert hall.
I need to go alone.
Allison writes, holding it up for them to see.
"Allison, I can let you do that, she is… beyond reason." Luther argues, only for Diego to cut him off.
"You hear the music? It's started."
"Do you honestly think she's gonna listen? After everything that's happened?" Luther counters.
"Why don't we give her the chance to try?" Melanie asks, as Allison stares him down.
"We don't have time for this." Klaus says as he moves behind them anxiously, shaking his head at their antics.
"Okay." Luther nods, Allison turning and walking in without them.
The five of them watch her go, before Diego looks to Luther.
"You're using her as a distraction, aren't you?"
"Our best chance to incapacitate Vanya."
"And what are we gonna do once she wakes up? Cause I don't know if I gotta remind you or not but our house is kinda gone." Melanie speaks, only to be instantly brushed off as Luther moves forward.
Melanie shakes her head in disgust, the last straw coming and going as she separates herself from the group, hands up in innocence and frustration as she lets the three men follow Allison's path, Melanie's own leading in the opposite direction as she leaned up against the wall instead, sighing as she looked to Ben who sat beside her.
"I don't think these idiots would have survived if we actually ran away when we were sixteen."
Ben laughs as he looks down, kicking his feet in the air with a shake of his head.
"To be fair, I think you, me and Five were basically the impulse control of all of us, so once you left, they were pretty much screwed." He says, drawing a less sad sigh from her this time, as she leaned her head against his arm for a moment, before looking up to him.
"How come I can see you right now?" She asks, him shrugging lightly.
"I don't know. But I'm not questioning it."
"Then neither am I." She smiles, before Klaus comes around the corner.
"The lookout. They should have just said "hey Klaus, go stay out of the way of our macho contest, we'll be done with the ruler soon."" He says bitterly, looking up at Ben and Melanie before gesturing outside.
"You guys up for burritos?"
-
"I owe my life to whoever invented food trucks." Melanie sighs, leaning against the side of the truck as she, Ben and Klaus waited for their burritos to be made.
"Remember when we lived off tacos for like a month cause we were broke and that guy with the truck had a crush on you?" Klaus asks with a laugh, looking to Melanie who let out a laugh herself.
"That guy was a creep." Ben comments, both of them nodding in agreement.
"True. He didn't actually have a crush on me, but he did make the eyes at you every time we were there." She smiles, bumping  Klaus who waved her off as the cook in the food truck called for them, Klaus accepting the food with a thank you before handing Melanie hers.
"I didn't ask for cilantro." He says sadly, Melanie taking the burrito from his hands and replacing it with the one from hers.
"Don't worry, just a mix up." She says, before taking a large bite and closing her eyes with happiness as she finally got to refuel after all the use of her powers through the day.
"Do you hear gunfire?" Ben asks, making her eyes snap open as she follows him to stand in front of the truck, Klaus hot on her heels.
But before they can run across the street to the theatre, Klaus is pulling Melanie against the front of the truck, hiding from the person she barely got a glance at before being pulled out of the way.
"Is that the lady we ran over?" She questions with a whisper yell, taking a bite of her burrito as she tried to peek around the corner.
"This is it, mofos. Go time! Go time!" Klaus whisper yells back, running out into the street while Melanie and Ben follow him.
"What about the gunfire?" Ben asks as they all run across the street, Melanie slacking behind a couple steps as she takes another bite of her burrito, running after them as Klaus shouts over his shoulder.
"Come on man, we're the damn lookouts!"
Throwing his burrito to the side, Melanie drops hers on the ticket booth counter, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand as she follows the two as they bust through the doors.
"Guys, it's Cha-Cha!" Klaus calls out, jumping the stairs as they enter the concert hall, Melanie instantly ducking down between seats as the gunfire from the bowling alley echos around them once again.
"Get down!" Melanie yells, yanking Klaus by the arm and pulling him down beside her.
She ducks down, breath coming in ragged bursts as she tries to avoid the bullets flying towards them, before looking up in shock as she watches Klaus's hands start to glow a bright blue neon.
Before her eyes, she starts to see Ben glowing too, in a different form than the one she saw him in the last couple hours, her hand flying to her mouth in shock as suddenly, The Horror lives again.
Ben shouts in effort and pain as the tentacles erupt from his body, reaching out and throwing the attackers with ease.
Blood rains down as they're ripped apart, Melanie barely avoiding the gore as it fell from the sky above her, arms held over her head for safety as the attackers finally realise, they are no match to Ben.
As all of the attackers lay in various states around the theater, Klaus smiles proudly, Melanie running past him to Ben and wrapping her arms around him tightly.
"Now who's the lookout?" Klaus says with a laugh.
Hearing the violin still playing behind them, Ben takes Melanie's hand as she turns, looking up to Vanya on stage.
As the six of them watch on, Vanya starts to transform, the intense blue glow of her powers so bright they're blinding, all of them barely able to see as the colour bleeds out of her suit, leaving pure bright white in its place.
The earth shakes beneath them, and Melanie looks to the ceiling with a scared look instantly washing over her as cracks start to appear in the stonework.
"Oh god, not again." She speaks quietly, her fear robbing her of her voice.
Melanie, Ben and Klaus move closer to the other four as they huddle together, Diego speaking over the unrelenting music.
"So, how do you wanna end this thing?"
"Surround her. All right? We come at her from all angles." Luther yells.
"So it's a suicide mission." Klaus says gravely, Luther nodding regretfully.
"Yeah, but one of us could get through. It's the only chance we've got." Five explains, agreeing with Luther's plan.
"Are we all in?" Luther asks, all of them agreeing, accept for one.
Melanie looks beside her, taking in the faces of the people she loved, for better or worse, before nodding in agreement, her attention pulled away as Allison shakes her head no.
"Stage left, stage right. You guys take the front." Luther instructs the group, ignoring Allison's protests.
The group burst into action, Five, Klaus, Melanie and Ben running through the seats and taking position at the end of each row, Diego running up the stairs leading to the backstage area.
Fear and a sense of finality ran through Melanie's veins as she watched for Luther and Diego, tears burning her eyes as the horror of their situation finally dawned on her in full.
Realising her voice wouldn't make it across the space that separated them, it escaping her anyway, Melanie looked up to Diego, who glanced at her from the stage.
"Love you, brother." She signs, too far away to see the tears in his eyes that rise as he takes a ragged breath.
"Now!" Luther calls, his voice cutting above all of the noise as they all charge ahead, throwing themselves towards Vanya and silently praying that at least one of them would make it.
But they don't even get close, as Vanya swings her arm out, the blinding white light shocking them all as the air is knocked from their bodies, all of them flying backwards as the wave of massive power throws them back.
But instead of landing, all of their bodies hover in the air, Melanie crying out in pain as a vein of light connects each of them back to Vanya, the energies within her depleting more and more by the second as Vanya holds them up, draining the life from all of them.
None of them see Allison, standing behind Vanya with a gun pointed to the back of her head.
With two swift pulls of the trigger, one each side of her head, Vanya is brought to her knees, the sound breaking her concentration and sending all of them  falling to the ground.
Melanie lays on her back, gasping for breath as she watches the beam of pure energy leaving Vanya, and hurtling through the ceiling and into the sky above them.
Allison catches Vanya as she falls backwards, completely knocked out and unconscious, the rest of the siblings scrambling to their feet and running to them.
"Is she alive?" Luther asks first, as Melanie and the rest of the brothers fall to their knees beside her.
"Yeah." Allison nods, her voice barely a whisper, but assuring all the same.
"Oh thank god." Klaus breathes, Diego smiling as he and Melanie looked at each other, and for the first time in a long time, they both had hope.
"We did it, we saved the world." Luther says in shock.
But, the happiness isn't allowed to last, as Klaus looks up behind them all.
"Uh, guys?" He says, getting their attention as he points to the sky. "You see that big moon rock coming towards us?"
Melanie rises to her feet, standing behind Klaus as tears fall down her face.
"So much for saving the world." He says grimly, taking the dog tags around his neck in his hands, gripping them tightly.
"If only Sir Reginald could see us now." Diego mutters. "The umbrella academy. A total failure."
"At least we're together in the end. As a family." Luther acknowledges.
Melanie finally let's the sobs dying to escape her body take over, the feeling of Ben's hand on her shoulder and Diego's hand reaching for hers the only thing keeping her upright as she cries.
"This doesn't have to be the end." Five says determinedly, all of them turning to him as he speaks.
"What? What are you saying Five?"
"I think I have a way outta here, but you gotta trust me on this." He says, Melanie instantly stepping forward.
"Of course we do." She says as she wipes her tears away, but looks around with a angry frown on her face as the three men disagree.
"Well then we might as well accept our fate, because in less than a minute, we're gonna be vaporized." He argues, Diego the first one to turn back around.
"What's your idea, then?"
"We use my ability to time travel. But this time, I'll take you with me." He explains.
"You can do that?" Diego asks, hope starting to creep back into his voice.
"I don't know. I've never tried it before." Five admits honestly, the rest of them looking between each other as they contemplated the possibility of making it out.
"It's worth a shot." Melanie says quietly.
"What's the worst that can happen?" Diego says, coming around to the idea while Klaus shrugged in a somewhat show of support.
"You're lookin at it. A fifty-eight year old man inside a child's body, so there's that."
"Oh, what the hell? I'm in." Diego agrees.
"Yeah, whatever. I'm in." Klaus adds, Melanie nodding in front of him.
"So am I."
"Me too." Luther agrees, looking to the floor where Allison still sat with Vanya in her lap, "Allison?"
She nods, Luther turning to Melanie and Klaus before speaking again.
"What about Ben?"
"Great, yeah, he's in." Klaus speaks for him, a smile working its way on to Melanie's face as she sees Ben smirking behind him.
"Okay great. Luther, grab Vanya." Five instructs, Luther immediately bending down and picking her up in his arms.
"Wait, should we be taking her?" He asks, and Melanie reaches out and slaps his arm as he speaks. "I mean, if she's the cause of the apocalypse. Isn't that like taking a bomb with us?"
"The apocalypse will always happen and Vanya will always be the cause, unless we take her with us and fix her." Five insists.
"That's good enough for me." Melanie nods, as explosions start ringing out.
Standing together, the Hargreeves children link hands, Melanie taking a deep breath as she stands between Diego and Klaus, holding onto their hands with as strong a grip as she can.
They all look up to the sky, watching the shattered pieces of the moon fall closer and closer as the sound of electricity sparks around them, Five straining as he wills all of the power he's ever had to come forward, a portal opening up above them.
"It's working!" Luther yells, looking around in shock as Five does the same.
"Hold on! It's gonna get messy!" He warns, yelling as loud as he can so they can hear him.
With the electricity whirling at a fever pitch, the blue blinding light engulfs them all, lifting their feet off the ground with its power.
And with one final look to each other in the moment, the Hargreeves siblings are gone.
thank you for reading the first story of The Occult series, DOOMSDAY.

Pre-Production:
For our final project, we had to do a scene recreation exercise. We chose our own groups of between four to six people, and had to choose a scene no longer than three minutes to recreate. My group consisted of Ben McMorran, Jack Weir, James Stevenson and Tom Spurin, and the scene we recreated was the Facemash scene from the 2010 David Fincher movie “The Social Network”. This scene follows an angry Mark Zuckerberg (played by Jesse Eisenberg) as he blogs about his ex-girlfriend, whom he has just broken up with, and decides to create a website comparing girls to farm animals after hearing his drunk roommate’s ramblings.
This was not always our plan. Our initial plan was to recreate the opening scene for “Filth”, which follows the character of Bruce Robertson (played by James MacAvoy) as he walks away from Edinburgh castle, while a voiceover reveals his opinions on what it is like to be Scottish. As we stay in Edinburgh and could actually visit the locations featured in the film, we thought this would be an ideal scene to do.

(From 0:00 to 0:37)
However, on the day of the shoot, due to the poor weather and barriers being set up by Edinburgh castle, we were unable to get the opening shot and felt without that, the scene wouldn't work as well if we were to just jump into the second shot and also cut off the beginning of the monologue. After considering various possibilities, we settled on the scene from “The Social Network”, as we all liked the scene and felt it was something we had the resources to do.
Production:
As in previous tasks, it was up to us to assign ourselves roles. Jack and James were the directors for the film, and me and Ben were in charge of the camera, and everyone helped with setting up the lighting. (However, these roles were not set in stone, and everyone helped out with whatever needed done.) Jack played Mark Zuckerberg (as portrayed by Jesse Eisenberg in the actual film) and I played his drunk roommate. Ben and Tom (who had to pull out of the shoot at the last minute for personal reasons) were in charge of the edit.
For this project, we decided to film in my flat, given the film is set in student halls, and features the character sitting at a wooden desk not too dissimilar from my own.. We used my laptop and tv monitor in the film. While my laptop was a bit bigger than the one in the film, it was the same colour and worked reasonably well. For the blog, we used the same website (LiveJournal) that was used in the film, however due to being updated it didn't look exactly the same. For the images of the other students that Mark looks at, we just used some random images off the internet. For the clothes, Jack wore a grey jumper that he owned and I wore a green shirt and white t-shirt of my own. The beer bottles were just some empty beer bottles from the recycling which I cleaned then filled with some water. Mark’s bottle in the film is green and I had hoped to find a Peroni (which, while maybe not the beer featured in the film, was certainly the same colour) but couldn't, so went with a brown coloured Budweisser bottle. For my character (the drunken flatmate), he is meant to be carrying a pack of six beers but in our recreation only has one. We didn't have a pack of beer, and figured this was a background detail that wasn't too important, so decided to go with it just the one.
While the general feel and certain aspects of my room worked for the film, due to the layout it would have been impossible to get some shots. Take the shot where Mark’s roommate walks over and sits on the bed behind Mark. This would have been impossible to shoot as the place he walks in from is where my wall is. For this reason, we decide to shoot the film with everything on the reverse side and then flip the footage in the edit to make it look correct.
For the scene from “Filth”, we had intended to rely on natural lighting so we had not booked out any lighting kit, and were aware we may have had to go our separate ways, book out some lighting equipment, and regroup at a later date. However, given everyone was already there, we didn’t want to call it a day without achieving anything. Additionally, several members of the group were going home shortly for the Christmas break. We decided to do a camera test, setting up a shot from “The Social Network'' and see if we could pull the scene of that day to a good quality. We only used only two orange lamps and my small white bedside lamp (which was attached to the wall). After setting up the shot, we were satisfied we could get a good quality of lighting without booking out the tungsten lamps, and we decided to go ahead with the scene there and then.
We began by reviewing the scene and taking a shot list. We started with the shots focusing on Mark Zuckerberg blogging, and ended by getting the shots of the computer. Ben and I alternated between using the camera, and whoever wasn’t filming or onscreen would be doing setting up the lighting. For the lighting, we used the lamps and put then on whatever boxes or other objects were to hand. We used a tripod for most of the film, bar the opening shot, which was done handheld. Regrettably, this meant it didn't look as smooth as in the film, but the majority of the other shots were all static, so they looked fine.
We filmed for about two hours before rapping up and parting ways. Jack later recorded the voiceover and sent it to Ben and Tom. It turned out we had missed two shots of the monitor (the shots seen at 0:38 to 0:39), so it did a mock up of those shots in my own home, recorded them on my camcorder and sent them to Ben and Tom, who put them in the final edit.
Feedback:
Feedback for the film was generally positive. The lighting, depth of field, cinematography and editing were praised, and overall the scene was said to be fairly faithful to the original. Jack's performance as Mark was also praised. However, this was some criticism.
The location was one of the main issues. The blue walls were slightly distracting, an issue that could have been solved by hanging up some kind of white material. The room also felt more cramped than the room in the original, and the lighting didn't always seem natural (while the light in the original was clearly coming from a lamp, there were some shots in ours where there was no clear source). This could have been solved by having the lamp visible in certain shots.
Addition, people took issue with the photos used for the photos of the other students, and the lines across the computer screen. I would agree with these issues. This was due to having to change our scene and using what was to hand. In the future, hopefully we would be able to create an appropriate document ourselves beforehand, instead of using some random photos from the internet. The lines across the computer could be solved by using some green cloth to cover the screen and using visual effects to put the appropriate images on later. However, this isn't something I know a lot about. A better solution could be to change the frame rate of the camera to match the monitor's refresh rate.
There were a few issues raised with regards to the framing. Someone pointed out the position of my character changed the side of Mark he was on, from being on the right side of Mark in a close up to being on the left side in the wide. While this is the case, this also happens in the film.
Another framing issue was that one shot of the computer screen is taken from roughly 45 degrees to the right when in the original scene it is taken from roughly 45 degrees to the left. This was likely due to us being in the mindset of filming everything the opposite way around. In future we should be more careful to avoid this, by taking particular care when filming shots featuring text we intend to flip later on. Admittedly, there are several shots where the text is flipped, but in those shots the text is the main focus, so this isn't too big an issue.
While most of the framing was positively received, the opening shot, which pulls over Mark’s shoulders to look at the computer, was criticized due to its handheld nature (as it was a much smoother shot in the actual film) but I think even it we had ample time to prepare, this would still be a difficult shot to pull of, as the only way we could do it was handheld. This was also complicated by the fact we had to change focus at the same time.
Someone raised the issue of the bottle being the wrong colour (brown as opposed to green), which also meant it blurred into the background slightly more. I agree with this point, but this was due to having to use whatever was to hand and not having the right prop ready, which we would have had this been the original plan.
In some cases the voice over was a bit quiet, meaning it was hard to make out certain lines of dialogue. Personally I didn't have this issue, but that could just be because I am familiar with Jack’s voice and the dialogue he is saying. This issue could probably be solved by raising the sound levels in the edit.
Overall I am happy with what we did, given the time and resources available to us due to our late change of plan, and think everyone did a great job in the lead up to and including the day of shooting.

WORST CLASS(ES) :
Herbology : She doesn't hate it, it's just that compared to classes like Care of Magical Creatures and Defense Against the Dark Arts it's not as interesting.
History of Magic : Again, she doesn't hate History of Magic in fact she was excited for History of Magic in her fourth year it's just that she finds Binns to be extremely boring.
BEST CLASS(ES) :
Charms : Mostly loves it because it's her best class but she loves it because of Professor Flitwick and how respectful and kind he is.
Muggle Studies : She has a weird fascination with Muggles and their lifestyle so an entire class dedicated to studying them is an amazing class for her.
LEAST FAVOURITE TEACHER(S) :
Patricia Rakepick : Rakepick was initially one of her favourite teachers but ever since her betrayal Rakepick has just left a bad taste in her mouth.
Cuthbert Binns : She doesn't hate him she just finds him to be boring and a bad teacher.
FAVOURITE TEACHER(S) :
Severus Snape : Jacob always spoke highly of Snape so when she first saw him she already thought he was cool. Despite Snape constantly insulting her she tends to look for the positives in what he says.
Example :
Snape : "You're almost as intolerable as your brother Kim"
Hana : "Wow! So does that mean you like me more than Jacob?"
Filius Flitwick : He was one of the only people at Hogwarts that treated her respectfully and talked about Jacob in a positive light.
CLOSEST HPHM FRIENDS :
Rowan Khanna : Hana's best friend and personal cheerleader, Rowan has been there for Hana since day one. Rowan can be rather overprotective and slightly clingy at times but she means well. Rowan is also one of the few people that Hana genuinely confides in.
Ben Copper : One of Hana's first and closest friends. Because of Merula's treatment of Ben she tends to be protective of him. She also has a rather weird interest in him for being a Muggleborn which tends to come off as her liking him.
Penny Haywood : She initially had her doubts about Penny due to her finding it difficult to believe that someone like Penny would help her of all people without getting anything in return. Despite her initial doubts about Penny as she got to know her the two became close friends with Hana considering Penny one of her closest friends.
Nymphadora Tonks : Initially she found Tonks to be a "interesting" person and was happily surprised when she realized they were roommates. Tonks is always the first person she goes to when she wants to laugh and she is always excited to take part in her pranks.
CLOSEST MC FRIENDS
David Denneth(@callmederok ) : She just thinks David is cool, she will randomly just follow him around to see what he does in his free time and she also thinks of him as an older bother despite the fact that they're basically the same age. She thinks he's rough around the edges but is sweet. She also thinks his and Penny's relationship is really cute.
Elliot Walker(@weasleywood ) : Hufflepuffs and Slytherins may not be known for always getting along but they do share an appreciation for their best friend. She also thinks he's aesthetically pleasing and she just likes pretty people.
FAVOURITE SPELL(S) :
Orchideous
Lapifors
Depulso
Fleur D'amour(original spell)
T r i v i a (random facts about them, future job, face claim, theme song, etc. ) :
I'd Rather Be Me is her theme song
The summer before her fourth year she dyed her hair platinum blonde but returned it back to her original hair color after realizing it didn't match her as much as she thought it would
She's ambidextrous
Went through a goth stage the beginning of her fourth year
IU(Lee Ji-Eun) is Hana's face claim
Has a odd obsession with The Little Prince
She tends to mix in Japanese when talking
She also has a habit of speaking in Japanese when excited, mad, or nervous
