sorry if this sounds dumb but I just started getting into 3d modeling ,, how do u get ur textures like that? it has that ps2 or NES game feel and i can’t figure out how to get that

Hi no problem its not dumb at all. I'm still kind of new to 3d modelling so only recently was i able to get that effect!

i recommend using the diffuse BSDF surface on your materials because it has very simple shading. Also, when you add a texture to something i recommend setting this to "closest" (its set to linear automatically i think), that makes it so the textures don't scale up and get blurry so it keeps them looking sharp and pixelated

This is only a post processing thing so it only matters if you render something, but i also turn off dithering for a similar reason

It also helps to just set the camera dimensions to be smaller so it compresses itself when you render. I have it at 420 by 340 which is VERY SMALL (it was originally 320 by 240 but i wanted it a little bigger)

As for the textures themselves i cheat a little, i often just run them through a really light mosaic texture in CSP and i make them on a 200x200 sheet. I found a video on this too which seems to have cool results but i didnt watch it myself yet, here it is :3 If you want to be accurate i think early playstations could handle image resolutions around 250x250, so anything below that is fine (64x64 i use for very simple small things)

overall im not an expert and still new myself, i got most of this from TheSicklyWizard on yt he has a great playlist of videos on how to get the early playstation/NES graphics here. I hope this helps you!
