I like over-analyzing stuff so let`s talk about it

plot reasons aside, I like to think that there is more to this scene than it shows `cause

Kevin has superhuman strenght so there`s no doubt that he would have been capable of carrying that on his own. Hell, a case could be made for Ben as well if he were to transform into something

But, despite these facts, they are doing this task the ”traditional” way

Maybe Ben wanted to prove that he didn`t need the Ultimatrix in order to move that piano. Maybe Kevin was joking around with him and made Ben want to prove himself

Or maybe the watch was timed out for all we know

But

I like to interpret the scene in some way in which Kevin chose to spend some brotherly time with Ben. If this really were an issue where Kevin needed man power, he could have also called Gwen to help with her powers

But he didn`t

Of course, her absence can be interpreted in enough ways but imo, the most in-character thing I could see Kevin doing would be - just not asking for her help

And despite what he claims, I highly doubt that it just so happened that Ben was the only available person to help him out

Kevin`s circle of acquaintances is implied to be large, sure. But no one sticks in particular to offer this sort of help. Who could he even depend on outside of the Tennysons ?

That is why I think this is more-so Kevin`s way of spending time with Ben outside of the general - alien missions. This comic panel takes place in the UA era, prior to the Ultimate Kevin arc so -

whatever the reason, it`s fun to think for it. hell, it could work as a one-shot fic

Yesterday and early today was special. After @mobolanz blessed me with that au ts Paradis squad, I thought it was alright if I didn't get Sheriff Reiner anymore because seeing him smiling and in a good place felt more important.

Brave Order wasnt giving him to me even if I switched servers for an extra chance, so if I rolled my gems there, I'd be fine if I dont get him. I was really so happy. BUT THEN.

It gave me Reiner for my final 10 pull. 😭 This game literally just told me to be extra happy. I can't even.

even online it feels extremely gauche to self-identify as trickster coded, which is a real shame bc it’s maybe the most concise way to explain what my whole deal is but like hell am *i* gonna be the one to point that out so people are instead forced to identify and reckon with all constituent trickster-traits individually and come to that conclusion on their own, which can take years, and by that point the constant low-grade exposure to me will have likely rendered them permanently nonbinary which—while by no means a bad thing—is a decision i feel people ought to be allowed to make for themselves, so on principle i am against it, though not as much as i am against comparing myself to chaos gods in casual conversation because it is, as stated, gauche, and also in the event that anyone takes my words the slightest bit to heart they become far more guarded against being surreptitiously taught valuable lessons about human nature and the danger of pride and ego, which is my favorite thing to do to people while i’m waiting for them to come out as nonbinary
