Friendly reminder that calling Donald Trump, MAGA truthers, and conspiracy theorists any variation of "psychotic", "schizophrenic", or "delusional" isn't the progressive take you think it is.

It's so harmful for two very important reasons:

First, it's extremely ableist. There are actual people with psychotic disorders, schizophrenic-spectrum disorders, and delusions. Psychosis and delusions and mania can be extremely debilitating, and many people with these conditions end up abused by the prison and psychiatric systems. People with psychotic disorders are more likely to be victims of abuse, not perpetrators. People with these illnesses and conditions are not bad or evil. It is not okay to label someone you don't like as having these conditions. It is demonizing an already marginalized group of people.

Second, Donald Trump and every other Far-Right conspiracy theorist don't believe the things they do because they're delusional. They believe in what they believe because they're racist, antisemitic, and homo/transphobic. Racism isn't a mental illness. You are taking away the responsibility on these people for their harmful actions, labeling them as merely mental illnesses and not deep-rooted bigotry. There are so many people with psychotic disorders who are not bigoted.

Your ableism isn't progressive. Your abuse apologetics aren't welcome.

Tried watching this video (the only existing evidence of the creel clock livestream countdown for the s4 trailer), which is apparently where the 'byler static kiss' originated.

The stream lasted 24 hours and was removed from YouTube shortly after airing. And so unfortunately, this is all we’ve got.

From what I can see, even watching at 0.25 playback speed, there was no static kiss, at least not at this particular time of the countdown, which was right before the trailer dropped at the end of the stream.

However, there is indeed a lot of static in this countdown. Like it’s kind of unnecessary tbh, with it even carrying through over to the trailer.

Also tv static in general tends to be mostly white. Not always, but usually color tends to come into play when there is an actual image projecting, only it's not fully visible bc of whatever reason, and so you get like this mixture of static and image.

When this happens, what you get is all sorts of colors (the colors that make up the image).

It's almost as if there was a specific image they were using as a source to juxtapose discreetly as the static itself.

So it is interesting that the byler static kiss has very similar coloring to the static that we saw throughout the countdown...

It’s entirely possible this image popped up more visibly at a different time within those 24 hrs, but we'll never know bc it's lost in history (minus the existing screenshot of course), which is pretty unfortunate.

For those that don’t know, there were also scenes from past seasons shown at the top of each hour for the countdown, along with other b-roll footage filmed specifically for this countdown scattered throughout.

So I do wonder if this static also accompanied each of those top of the hour recaps? Bc if this image did indeed come from the countdown, if there was a way we could actually find this exact still within the countdown, that would be crazy. I would fully believe it was intentional bc like wtf...??

Did Aemond and Helaena died on the same day?

Yep, yep.

Aemond died in battle with Daemon in the late-afternoon

Then, that very same night, suddenly, out of nowhere, Helaena alluded the guards of her prison as they were escorting her to leap from the top of the tallest tower in the Red Keep.

The accounting really depends on what you believe is true.

If you believe that "The Brothel Queens" is true. Then the motive for Helaena killing herself was that she couldn't stand another night of being passed around.

If you don't believe in "The Brothel Queens" incident, then it's actually a mystery as to why she did it. The way I remember it being described was 'a sudden and powerful mania' that no one could explain. She simply had a burst of despairing sorrow and just decided to leap to her death.

Now that the show has given more context. It seems more relevant than ever that Aemond and Helaena die on the same day ... as well as "Blood & Cheese" being avenged. If you're a subscriber to Helaemond (like I am) then it's sort of a sign that they were always meant for another and Helaena was convinced that one could not live without the other in this world. "The Battle over the Gods' Eye" kinda wraps up Aemond and Helaena's storylines together.

Of course, if you're not a Helaemond Truther and you don't subscribe to "The Brothel Queens" narrative, then, you're probably still waiting to figure out why she did it.

And if you're one of those people, consider that she still had a young daughter that was alive and in Alicent's care. She hadn't killed herself yet despite both her boys being murdered. They were all in DEFCON 3 at the Red Keep knowing that Daeron was racing into the Crown Lands with the speed of the Devil, commanding the finest army in Westros, and having the Black Council and the Dragonseed Riders shitting themselves.

So why would Helaena choose when everyone in the Red Keep is begging Rhaeynra to give her and Alicent back to Daeron and make peace to kill herself? Circumstances being what they were, it was a matter of time before Daeron was going to come crashing through the main Black Army. All the momentum was on Helaena's side.

That's why I feel that the answer is obviously the combination of "The Brothel Queens" and Aemond's death.

She couldn't stand another night of being brutalized and debouched with the knowledge that her love was now dead and would never return to her. At that point Alicent had been raising Helaena's daughter for years and I'm sure - like everyone else - she believed that Daeron was gonna wipe the floor with Rhaenyra's Army and the Dragonseed Riders - which he did.

Helaemond is really the only answer I can see as a plausible explanation given the sanctioning by GRRM that "House of the Dragon" is the definitive canon of "The Dance of Dragons".
